Long ago, the Makuta created the Zivon & placed it in the Field of Shadows, where it could only be summoned by a Kahgarak. When the Visorak army was formed, Sidorak would rarely use it as a trump card in battle. He used it rarely because the Zivon had a tendency to eat copious amounts of Visorak.
Years later, it was summoned to fight the Toa Hordika, but ended up fighting the Tahtorak in the process. The two had a decent bout before the massive dinosaur broke off its stinger, forcing the Kahgarak that summoned it to send it back to the Field of Shadows, where it has remained ever since.
