History[]
As a child during the Yagura's regime as Mizukage, who conduct labeled Kirigakure as the Village of Blood Mist, Zabuza was the only survivor of his class and gained member in the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist after killing the Hidden Leaf ninja Kumade Toriichi during his Anbu. Zabuza was later forced to flee his village when an attempt to assassinate Yagura failed, becoming a mercenary for hire to gather funds for a second attempt. But working under a crime boss named Gato to kill bridge builder named Tazuna who is a threat to his employer's business, Zabuza's fate was sealed when he faced Kakashi Hatake on the incomplete bridge.

Zabuza is a former member of the Seven Swordsmen of the mist, an elite group of Ninja, and a legendary assassin whose reputation is known far and wide. He has greatly enhanced strength, speed, and reflexes, and is capable of performing a wide variety of jutsu, such as the creation of water clones. His Water Release Jutsu also lets him control surrounding water to shoot at opponents, or create impenetrable prisons. By using mist in the air, Zabuza can hide himself almost completely, perfect for assassination. He also knows each and every vital organ in the human body.
Zabuza's weapon is a giant knife called Kubikiribocho, which can use iron from blood it sheds to repair its own damage.

- Slaughtered one hundred classmates as part of his graduation from the ninja academy, at nine years old.
- After his arms were crippled, then shot, kicked, and stabbed, Zabuza mustered enough strength to kill Gato.
- Indirectly influenced Naruto Uzumaki's resolve.

Flaws[]
- Could not admit that he cared for his ward Haku Yuki, referring to him as only a tool.
- Water Prison requires his presence and maintenance; he cannot leave a victim.
- That's where water clones come in handy though.
