They are both two animal companion and pets of two of the best survivalist of their respected comic book franchises, and members of a team of other super pets. This is the fourteenth episode of the first season of Dandyclaw's Death Battle.

· Wiz: Cats and Dogs, one of the most famous conflicts and will last of all.
· Boomstick: Okay, to make it more interesting, let's put superpowers to the mix and see who wins a battle to the death.
· Wiz: Ace the Bathound, Crime Fighting dog and pet of the Bat Family.
· Boomstick: And Zabu, Sabretooth Tiger and member of the Pet Avengers. He's Wiz, and I'm Boomstick.
· Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.
Ace the Bat-Hound sniffs out the criminals in Death Battle[]
Ace the Bat hound
o Wiz: Throughout the underworld of Gotham City, one name strikes fear into the hearts of even the most hardened of criminals.
o Boomstick: The goddamn Batman! But he's not the only bat these wannabe criminals have to worrry about. There's a whole family of Bats prowling the streets of Gotham, each with their own reputation to back them up.
o Wiz: The Batman Family has consisted of many unique members recruited and trained by the Caped Crusader himself, and have branched from Batman to expanded their popularity across the DC Universe.

o Boomstick: From former circus performer turned sidekick: Nightwing, tech savy daughter of the police commissioner: Batgirl, the former undead Robin turned violent: Red Hood, to the son of Batman and Talia al Ghul: Damian Wayne. Every member of the Batman Family has an incredible story to tell in their own way.
Man and his Dog
o Wiz: But no family, not even the notorious Bat Family, is complete a four legged family companion that accompanies them on all of their adventures.
o Boomstick: While Wonder Woman has a Kangaroo and Aquaman has an Octopus, Bat's pet is a little more domesticated. Said pet would be none other than trusty canine sidekick, Ace the Bathound. And is origin story is just as tragic as his human family members.
o Wiz: When he was just a puppy, Ace was born in a run down pet store of Gotham until he was bought by a ruthless thug who not only worked for the Clown Prince of Crime himself, but also ran his own illegal dog-fighting ring.
o Boomstick: Poor little pup, all he wanted was nice family and belly rubs. But all he got was a rolled up newspaper and grueling punishment. But that's what you get for living in a place like Gotham City.

o Wiz: For years, Ace lived an abusive and violent life in the thug's dog-fighting ring, ruthlessly beating him into submission and training him to get his body into fighting shape. Though he may have growled and barked when his master commanded, deep down, his spirit was never truly broken, and refused to be intimidated by the man who clearly never loved him.
o Boomstick: Thankfully this wouldn't last forever for out miraculous mutt. On one winter night, during one of Ace's biggest matches, the Gotham police raided the whole place, busting the fighting ring and capturing all the criminals. But during all the confusion, Ace saw an opportunity to escape from his abusive master, and he immediately took it. Run free Acy Boy, run free.
Ace's Origin
o Wiz: Though he may have been free from his dog fighting days, he was not a stray, wandering alone in the vast and dangerous street of Gotham, where killers and psychopaths lurked around every corner.
o Boomstick: And Gotham was already a hazardous place for any human to live, just imagine what it's like for a dog. Dog Catchers, starving thugs, cruel individuals who like to put animals in sacs and throw them into the water. This place is the worst.
o Wiz: For days Ace wandered the streets in search of food and a warm place to stay, until he spotted the one and only Bruce Wayne, making his yearly tradition of placing flowers in the spot where his parents died. While walking through the dark ally, he got jumped a group of gangsters, who thought he would be easy prey.
o Boomstick: Let's be clear about one thing Wiz, he may not have his gear, but Bruce was definitely the Alpha Predator in this fight. And he didn't have to go in swing alone, for Ace was feeling especially heroic that day and helped them fight off the criminals, even though he was injured in the process.

o Wiz: Feeling sorry of the dog, Bruce saved him and brought him back to his home, yet another stray Bruce just couldn't turn his back on. Over the next few months, Alfred attempted to retrain Ace to a proper house pet, which proved to be difficult due to Ace’s mistreated past.
o Boomstick: Yeah, Ace would constantly try to attack him the butler came anywhere near him or his food, so much so that he had to wear a special suit for protection. But one night in December, Ace finally started to obey Alfred’s commands and even showed concern for Bruce when he came home from a brutal fight. Now that’s what I call a Christmas miracle.
Ace and his master Bruce Wayne
o Wiz: Since that day, Ace's fear of Bruce turned into absolute loyalty, and he began following his master and his comrades everywhere they went, even into the bathroom. And when one of them was feeling at down, Ace would be there to comfort them. Then on one of Batman nightly patrols, Ace decided that this time he wanted to join him,
o Boomstick: Even after seeing his new master come and go so many times, Ace couldn’t help himself. Probably bored listen to all of Alfred's old war tales, god knows I would.

o Wiz: But Ace had already been seen with Bruce during one of his public appearance, so people already knew he had a new dog. Fearing that people would make the connection between Bruce and Bats, current Robin, Dick Grayson... Ugh, go ahead.

Wiz: ...Made Ace a Bat mask to hide his identity, and Ace proved to be a valuable asset in the field, tracking down gangsters, sniffing for clues, and taking down criminals.
o Boomstick: After this, Bruce officially made Ace a member of the Bat family, making him the Caped Crusader's offical pet sidekick, Ace the Bat-Hound.
Good Bat Dog
o Wiz: Partner, he prefers to be called Batman's Partner. Just like the rest of the Bat Family, who are all in peak physical human condition, Ace is in peak physical "canine" condition. The only good thing that came from his days as a fighting Dog is now Ace strong enough overpower and outrun a full grown man. During his days in the ring, he once killed three different dogs all on his own.
o Boomstick: That's one bad dog, I'm sorry, Bat-Dog. Furthermore, Alfred also trained Ace is Basic K-9 obedience, which includes drug sniffing, search and rescue, my personal favorite, the Take Down. In other words, Stop Resisting Mother F'ers.
o Wiz: Throughout the comics, Ace has been depicted as a either German Shepherd and a Great Dane, so for this Death Battle, we are going to combine both breeds together so give him the best of both breed in this fight.

o Boomstick: As a “Great Shepherd” or a “German Dane”, Ace would probably be about 30 inches tall, and weighed in at about 110 pounds. No matter how you call it, that’s a lot of puppy dog.
o Wiz: Both breeds are known their loyalty and exception speed, reach up to and maintaining speed of up to 30 miles per hour. That's than an Electric Bikes going at full speed.
o Boomstick: They are also just speedy and they are beefy. A healthy Great Dane, like any dog, can pull up to three times its own body weight for an extended period. And Ace has proved that when he overpowered Jason Todd in a tug of war contest, who once held up part of a collapsing building. Beaten by a dog, that's new one for Jason.
Ace challenges a Bengal Tiger
o Wiz: As a German Shepherd, he's naturally brave, loyal, energetic, keen and ready to learn. No matter the mission he's on, Ace has never once shied away from danger, even if he has to walk across a wooden plank just to reach Batman in the middle of a prison riot. He’ll follow Bruce’s orders down to the letter, from sitting and waiting like a statue, to attack a specific person in a crowd of people.
o Boomstick: He's even gone undercover with Batgirl to sniff stolen good smuggled in by Harley Quinn. According to the little mis brainiac he's medium coat, finished first in his class in the Police Dog academy, extremely intelligent, cleanly chiseled and noble head, four paws, super-lovable personality, and the cutest wutest little fuzzy black nose.

o Wiz: You know you're doing your Pinkie Pie voice again, right? As a Great Dane, he has a sweet nature, protective of their home and owners, elegant on all four legs, and have the size to make any would be intruders think twice about breaking into your house.
o Boomstick: And for a dog, he's pretty freaking strong. His teeth interlock in a scissor grip when he bites, giving him strength and power with his bites and we've all been bitten by dogs, that sucks.
Batman's Dog vs Catwoman's Cat
o Wiz: In the Batman Beyond universe, he's strong enough to overpower both Terry and Old Man Bruce in a crazed state, wrestled down two mutated abomination, and chased off the spliced Jokerz thug Woof.
o Boomstick: Well Hyena's are more related to cats then dogs, so no wonder Woof went running for the hills when Ace was on his tail.

o Wiz: German Shepherds have no qualms about giving their lives for their owners and are one of the smartest dog breeds in the world. They will not hesitate to use force if their pressured. German Shepherds have a staggering bite force of 238 PSI, which included with their intelligence makes them the top breed of dog to be used as Police Dogs.
o Boomstick: Great Danes are no joke either, for they are one of the tallest dog breeds in the world and are commonly known as the “Biggest Lapdogs” of the dog world. That being said, they originally breed for hunting bear, wild boar, and deer with the royal family, as well as standing guard while their owners slept at night.
Ace vs Tiger
o Wiz: With the right amount of training and socialization, both these dog breeds are known to be loving family pets, as well as fierce defenders of their territory should their family need protection.

o Boomstick: Ace has a highly developed nose, able to detect bombs and other dangerous chemicals. Humans have 3-5 million smell receptors, while dogs have 120-200 million smell receptors, allowing smells to linger for longer and clearer. He sure does know how to follow his “nose”.
o Wiz: Like every member of the Bat Family, Ace can take a surprising amount of punishment. He’s held his own against a 400 lbs. Bengal Tiger, fought the mutant Man-Bat, saved Batman from the Joker, took down Black Mask when he tried to escape, tackled the Royal Flush gang leader King, and even survived being beaten by multiple thugs and dumped into a river, and made a full recovery.
o Boomstick: He even teamed up with Superman’s dog Krypto to form a superhero team of their own to help save the Justice League: The League of Super Pets. And trust me, those two dogs have the same team dynamic as their owners. I guess it’s true, owner really do look just like their pets.
o Wiz: He’s rescued Batman from a gang of Russian terrorists, recovered stolen jewelry from Catwoman’s cat Isis, defeated both of the Joker’s Hyenas In a fight, and battled his evil counter Licks Luthor, a dog bred and trained to be the perfect companion and bodyguard for Lex Luthor, to a stand still.
o Boomstick: Licks Luthor, seriously?!
Bathound and Superdog
o Wiz: Seriously. In one adaptation, Ace even possessed a Utility collar, a high-tech collar modeled after his master's utility belt. He has access to its tools and devices by using a forepaw to press a series of buttons on his bat-icon.
o Boomstick: Like the Batman himself, Ace has numerous gadgets stored in his collar, like Batarangs, buzzsaws, and a grappling hook. I know what I'm ordering off of Chewie next time I get Jack's Med.

o Boomstick: Oh right thanks. And in the other tv shows where animals talk, he’s proved to be just as capable a Detective as the Batman himself, tracking down the missing Dog Star hero’s after they were kidnapped by the cutest yet evilest kitty cat in the world, Snooky Wookums.
o Wiz: Not just the world Boomstick, the entire universe. Ace has definitely got both the brains and the brawn to back up his bark and bite. He's outsmarted Catwoman's cat Isis during a robbery, took on both of the Joker's two Hyena's 2 on 1, and captured all three of Penguin's henchbirds.

o Wiz: Deep in the isolated and frozen continent of Antarctica, there is a majestic world hidden from humanity. A place where species who were tough to be extinct centuries ago have secretly lived peacefully for thousands of years.
o Boomstick: We speak of the one and only, The Savage Land, a tropical prehistoric island surrounded by volcanoes, where vicious animals roam the plains, and only few who have ventured have ever returned, alive that it.
o Wiz: So maybe “Majestic” wasn't the right word for this place, more like Dark, Dangerous, and Hazardous.

o Boomstick: And why wouldn't it be. This place has got dinosaurs, cave-people, and their own Marvel version of Tarzan and Jane: Ka-Zar and Shanna the She-Devil.
o Wiz: But the one thing the Savage Land lacks are the prehistoric big cat, specifically the Smilodons.
o Boomstick: Ya know, saber-toothed tigers, saber-toothed cat, the big pussy cats with bucked teeth.
o Wiz: In fact, there is only one recorded saber-toothed cat that has ever been spotted in the Savage Lands in recent times. He is last of his entire species and sole survivor of his pride. He is so unique that unlike the other animals of this Jurassic World, he has a name which the whole world would soon known him as Zabu.
Savage Family
o Boomstick: When Zabu was just a cub, his mother and siblings lived a happy kitty cat life in the Savage Land until they were ambushed by the Man-Apes, the primitive human-like monkey people native to Savage Land. Though his mama Saber tried to fight them off, Zebu was the only member of his family to survive the attack. Sheesh, even the animals can’t escape the tragic superhero origin story bundle.

o Wiz: Though Zabu was able to find enough food all on his own, he was lonely and afraid of the big new world he found himself in, and longed for the companionship of other cats. He searched all over, he could never find other Smilodons, for he was truly was the last of his kind.
o Boomstick: That is until he got scooped up by a dire wolf named Zagah and brought him back to his back alive and in one piece. Though originally brought him as breakfast for his mate and her pups. I guess fast food really did exist back in prehistoric times.
o Wiz: However, after recently loosing one of her cubs, the still grieving mother took pity on the lost cub and didn't see him as a potential meal, but a potential replacement for the hole that her deceased cub left in her heart.
Man and Cat vs Dinosaurs
o Boomstick: So instead of eating Zabu, she adopted him, letting him grew among her two remaining cubs Fheta and Jhet. And I though Za-Zar was more like Tarzan, looks like Zabu got the same backstory too.
o Wiz: On one hand, Fheta admired the older Zabu, fascinated by her new sibling whom she had no idea was a completely different species compared to herself, and they formed a close bond with each other.
o Boomstick: While on the other hand, the eldest cub Jhet, grew to resent Zabu for having a foreign animal join their pack and hated Fheta for admiring him, kind of like how Shere Khan hated Mowgli from the Jungle Book, though the roles were reversed the cat was good guy.

o Wiz: But Fheta always defend Zabu from her jealous brother, and as they grew older, so did Jhet hatred for Zabu. So during the youngster "right of passage" hunt, Jhet attempted to kill Zabu when he wasn't looking, but ended up killer his sister instead, and in a blind rage, Zabu killed him, avenging his fallen sister.
o Boomstick: Well, the other wolves didn't exactly see it that way, so they kicked him out. Now Zabu really was a “lone wolf” or “lone cat” to be precise.
Ka-Zar and Zabu
o Wiz: With no other family to care for him, Zabu wandered the Savage Land on his own, teaching himself how to survive as he grew to adulthood. Soon Zabu would cross path with the same Man-Ape tribe that killed his family.
o Boomstick: Payback time, Mother Monkey.
o Wiz: Seeking revenge, Zabu tracked them down for several days straight until he finally found and confronted their leader Maa-Gor, the whole personally killed his mother. But vengeances was going to have to wait, for at this time, Maa-Gor was in the process of killing a young boy named Kevin Plunder, who had come to the Savage Land on a scientific exploration with his father.
o Boomstick: Just like Zabu, the natives killed his father and would have killed him too if Zabu hadn’t come to his recue after taking pity on the boy. Good Kitty.

o Wiz: After defeating the evil native leader and making the other members turn tail and run, the boy and his new prehistoric friend decided to stick together with each other, due to their similar past and having no one else to rely on. For the next several years, the two would from a strong brotherhood with each other, remaining by each other’s side and protecting the residences of the savage land.
o Boomstick: I sure wish I had a sabretooth for a pet, why can’t these scientists hurry it up with the clone of dinosaurs and everything.
New Warriors
o Wiz: Patience's Boomstick, you can't rush perfection. But it wouldn't be long before more dangerous threats started coming the Savage Land, like big game hunters and mutant supervillains. But Ka-Zar could always could on Zabu watch his bag and charge into battle along with him.
o Boomstick: Who needs a Guard dog, when you've got a Guard Saber-Tooth as your wingman. On estimate, due them being extinct in real life, Zabu was probably about 4 feet tall, 70 inches long, and weighed in at about 800 pounds. No matter how you slice it, that’s a lot of pussy cats.
o Wiz: While most solid information on these cats has yet to be discovered, what they were most well known for were their 11-inch-long canines...
o Boomstick: Canines? Doesn’t that make them dogs and not cats?

o Wiz: No his teeth, not his genesis. Many mammals have extra-long teeth near the front of their mouths. They are referred to as fangs or canines, but also as cuspids, or, in the case of the upper ones, eye teeth. Not just dogs have them, but many species of big cats have at least 4-inch-long canines.
o Boomstick: Imagine trying to brush your teeth with those, it would be such a pain.
o Wiz: Ugh, Anyway similar modern day big cats, the Smilodon had strong, retractable claws and were stockier than modern big cats, with broad, furry paws suitable for walking in snow and sharp, curved claws, which it could use to hold tight onto its prey.
Pet Avengers vs Thanos
o Boomstick: The saber-tooth’s lack of a tail means that it was probably not too good at chasing down fleeing prey. Instead, it more likely counted on being able to stealth fully ambush animal at night, like sneak up on friend by the campfire before going "BOO" and sacring them to death.
o Wiz: (Sarcastically) Yeah, just like that. Though what they meant to do was jump onto their prey's back and take it down before it could flee. However, it could probably run as fast as 30 mph for short bursts.

o Boomstick: Most things on a Smilodons Uber-Eats menu would include large prey animal, like a bison, elk, and a side of small mammoth. They would use their heavy weigh to wrestle them to the ground, before sinking their bucked teeth into their throat to deliver a killer throat slit.
o Wiz: Alongside his faithful human Ka-Zar, Zabu has helped protect the Savage Land from threats like Velociraptors and T-Rex to the evil mutant dinosaurs Sauron and Stegron. Sometimes they have teamed up with other heroes like Spider-Man and Wolverine to help assist their fellow heroes in the concrete jungle of New York.
Zabu vs Scorpion
o Boomstick: Zabu has fought of a pack of velociraptors by himself, tangled with Asgardian Wolves, and even stood his ground against freaking Dragons and the infamous Devil Dinosaur. Outside of the Savage Land, Zabu has taken on other supervillains like the Green Goblin and Scorpion.
o Wiz: Zabu is strong enough to smash metal drones to piece and break the metal of a Life Model Decoy android disguised as the Asgardian Destroyer Armor. Saber-toothed cats were theorized to have a bite force about one-third as strong as a lion's, around 217 PSI.
o Boomstick: He's survived being eaten by a Dragon and falling from the sky into the middle of an ocean, and I thought Cats hated water. He’s been one of the few heroes to land a couple of blows against the Mad Titan Thanos and survive a blast from his Infinity Gauntlet to tell the tale. True story by the way.

o Wiz: When Thnanos came looking for his Infinity Stone, Zabu was recruit by the inhuman dog Lockjaw to form the Pet Avengers, a group of superpowered animals on a quest to find them first.
o Boomstick: The Pet Avengers, as corny as that sounds, it’s not a bad idea. Even after their battle Thanos, the Pet Avengers would go on other adventures together, fighting off magical demons and cryptic creatures to save the day.
o Wiz: They even Teamed up alongside the normal Human Avengers against the dragon king Fin Fang Foom and even in the Tournament of Champions designed by the God-like beings the Collector and Grandmaster. He even fought against the Avengers to protect the former Dragon to save their dying eggs, going up against powerful heroes like Mockingbird and Luke Cage.
The Pet Avengers
o Boomstick: He even maid it into SHIELD Academy to train alongside other heroes like White Tiger and Nova to become the next generation of Heroes known as the New Warriors alongside his best bud Ka-Zar. They let a cat join their ranks, that's a new one.
o Wiz: And as token of their heroic deeds, the Avengers gifted the Pet Avengers their very own headquarters right next to their own, equipment with devices just like their, only smaller and pet friendly and using.
o Boomstick: But there is one way in which the saber-tooth tigers were inferior to modern big cats, and that’s in the bite department.

o Wiz: That’s right, while the smilodon has some impressive fangs, its bite force was probably a good deal weaker than that of a modern cat. It apparent did not use its fangs so much for biting, as it did for slashing.
o Boomstick: Also, he's still just a prehistoric big cat, meaning he's not super strong, fast or tough, and he doesn't have many attacks outside of his biting and scratching. He has been captured by much stronger villains like Magneto and Kraven the Hunter, who intended to cut his heart out to make a potion to make him live forever. EWWW.
To Battle
o Wiz: But Zabu has lasted this long in the Marvel Universe as the sole survivor of his species, and with allies at his side, both human and animal alike, he’s going to find a way to survive to the next generation.
o Boomstick: Like all cat, he's got nine lives, and ain't no freaking way he's going to let them go to waste basking in the sun and eating cat nip.
Spiderman: And Nova...uh...this is Zabu
Nova: Seriously? He's pairing me with the furrball

Iron Fist: Perhaps the furrball, prefers to be called "Zabu"

Wiz: All right the combatants are set, lets end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Savage Land
In the prehistoric jungles of the Savage Lands, Batman has landed his Batwing ship on the ground and steps out of it with Ace the Bathound by his side. He then begins to survey his ship and check out the damage made to his ship.
Batman: Batman to Bat Cave to you copy. Bat Cave do you copy. Looks like the radio been damaged by that last battle with the Pterodactyl. Ace go see if you can find some people who can help us, I'll fix the Batwing as best as I can.
As Batman starts fixing his plane, Ace picks up a scent and starts tracking it into the jungle. As the bat hound walks through the jungle sniffing the trail on the forest floor, he soon comes to a clearing in the forest and spots the sabretooth tiger Zabu, who is sleeping on a rock and soaking the sun. Not wanting to start a fight Ace slowly tries to creep past the sleeping sabretooth, but he accidentally steps on and breaks a fallen twig, waking up Zabu. Zabu stands up and spots Ace trying to sneak away and jumps from his rock and growls at him.
Zabu: Growl (Who are you and what are you doing in the Savage Lands).
Ace: Bark (I'm just passing through here on an important mission, I mean you know harm).
Zabu: Growl (This is me and my brothers territory. Anyone who comes or goes here, especially ones that aren't from around here, it's by our say-so. And you don't have permission, unless you tell me your mission)
Ace: Bark (That is need to know. And I don't need to tell my mission to a fat and lazy cat like you)
Zabu: Growl (This fat and lazy cat is about to rip your head off!)
Zabu lunges at Ace, but the dog leaps out the the way and to the other side to safety. Ace then charges forward and headbutts Zabu in his side and knocks him back. Zabu gets to his feet just as Ace lunges to bite him, but Zabu stands on his hide legs and uses his front paws to grab Ace and fling him backwards, but causes him to fall as well when he looses his balance.
Seizing the moment of his fallen opponent, Zabu leaped at the bat hound, using his arms to pin Ace down, and eyed his exposed throat. Ace looks up at the massive cat, and sees him opening his mouth, ready to deliver a fatal bite. He summons all his strength, and fought in the other cat’s grip, able to kicks himself free and run into the bushes to hide. Zabu darts into the bushes where Ace went and sees that the dog is no longer there.
Zabu: Growl (You can't hide forever. I will hunt you down).
The Sabretooth starts looking and sniffing around, looking to where the intruder may have run off too. He lifts up his head and sniffs the air around him, trying to pick up a sent. Meanwhile, Ace is hiding behind some bushes a few feet away from Zabu, waiting for the right moment to attack. Ace then lunges from out of the bushes, but Zabu has sniffed him out and pulls back his paw to knock the dog back. As Ace struggle to his feet, Zabu rams into him and pins him back down to the ground. The saber-teeth down down and wraps Ace's collar and neck. The dog screamed out in pain and anger. However, Ace's Utility Collar to let out a small shock, tasing the massive cat and making him release the dog from his grasp.
Zabu: Growl (What was that).
Ace: Bark (Shock Collar, packs quite a punch).
Zabu pulls his head back, preparing to stab again at the bat hound with his teeth. But Ace uses this opening to pull his hind legs up, and kicks the sabretooth in the face, sending him backwards, and releasing the dog from his grip. While Zabu is on his back, Ace jumps onto the sabretooth and the two begin to roll and wrestle in the grass before Zabu kicks Ace away. Ace gets up and growls at Zabu as he jumps back and forwards, smacking the massive cat in the face with his paws. He goes for another attack but Zabu uses mouth his front paws to grab Ace by the neck and slam him to the ground. They both get back on their hind legs and start to scratch at each other, but Zabu uses his massive paw to land a strong blow to the dog's face, causing him to roll away.
Both animals get back on all four feet and begin to circle each other, barking and growling, challenging the other to make the first move. Ace is quicker on his feet and he presses his Utility collar to release his bola, which wraps Zabu around his legs, trapping him, and causing him to stumble to the ground. Zabu struggles to free himself, and Ace presses another button on his Utility Collar that that shoots out a Taser cord and shocks the sabretooth as he roars in pain before passing out.
As Zabu remains still, Ace goes over to check on him and sniffs him. Zabu takes the opportunity to bite Ace on the neck and throw him across the ground, then uses his teeth to cut the bola ropes and free himself. Despite the pain that he is in, Ace gets back to his feet and lungs at Zabu, and the two stand up on their hind legs and begin to swat at each other with their paws and bite each other as well. However, Zabu uses his extra weight count and body slams onto the Bat-hound before picking him up by the neck and tossing him aside.
Zabu: Growl (Cat One, Dog Zero).
Ace: Bark (We'll see about that).
As Ace gets to his paws, Zabu leaps at him and knocks him down with a swipe of his paw. Ace struggles to stand as he sees Zabu charging at him again. Ace jumps out of the way, causing Zabu to stop midway before he hits a tree. When he turns around, Ace is gone. Zabu tries to sniff him out, but he can't find him. Suddenly, Ace leaps out of the bushes, grabs Zabu by the neck and uses his body to fling the sabretooth off his feet. When Zabu gets to his feet, Ace does the same move, making Zabu fall on his back again.
As Zabu gets to his feet, Ace leaps on his backs and bites down on his neck. The sabretooth starts to buck like a bull to get the dog off, but Ace has a firm grip on him. Zabu then notices Ace’s cape, so he grabs hold of it and pulls on it. This forces Ace to let go of Zabu, since he was being choked. Zabu then begins to spin Ace around on his cape. The cape then begins to rip, and tear off Ace, who goes flying.
Zabu: Growl (Ugh, get this thing off me).
After skidding across the ground, Ace sees that his cape is now over Zaby’s face, who cannot see and is trying to get the cap off his. Ace sneaks up behind Zabu and bites him on the tail, startling the sabretooth. Zabu swings his claws around, but misses Ace due to the cape. Ace starts barking at and running around Zabu, who can’t see him. When he stops, Zabu charges at Ace, but he jumps out of the way, causing Zabu to get a tree and have a bunch of coconuts fall on him.
As Ace walks away, Zabu emerges from the pile of coconuts, and have completely spread the cape. Ace then pressed his utility collar, and sends out three batarangs towards Zabu. Zabu slashes at two of the Batarangs away, and catches one of them in his mouth. He then ears a beeping sound and the one his mouth explodes and sends him flying back near the edge of a hill.
Ace: Bark (I hate to sound like Krypto but....Cannonball).
Ace then runs and tackles into Zabu as they both begin to roll down the hill towards a field filled with prehistoric deer and bison. As the pets fall onto the field, their presence spooks the deer and bison, and result in them fleeing away in a stampede. Both pets are unaware of this facts for being in he grass prevents them seeing around them.
Zabu is on his back and Ace on top of him, away from his mouth and biting him on the chest. But Zabu uses his front claws to grab him by the torso and pushes him off his stomach, allowing him to land a few paw strikes to the dog's face. Zabu then lifts up his head when he hears the bison around him, but Ace gets back up and ambushes the Sabretooth and knocks him back down. But Zabu rolls back on his feet tries to bite at the downed Ace, but the dog swats at him prevents him from biting. But Zabu grabs one of the dog's paws and throws him aside.
As Zabu pins down the dog's head to deliver another bit, he suddenly hit from behind by a bison and they both look up to see that they are in the middle of a stampede. Realizing the danger the are in, Ace and Zabu try avoid the panicked animals and they both leap between two fallen tree to shield them from the stampede as the deer leap over the trees and avoiding the two beast.
After seeing each other and realizing their is not enough room for both of them, they continue their fight by charging at each other and clashing with each, biting and clawing at each other. Zabu gets one of his teeth stuck on Ace's collar when he went for his neck, causing him to rip it off when he pulls back. Ace bites Zabu's front leg and breaks it, but the sabretooth easily throws away the dog onto his back. With all his strength, Zabu leaps up and tries to bite Ace in the throat. Although, uses his feet to keep the big cat at bay, he can feel his strength failing him. But then Ace see his utility collar next to him, and uses one of his paws to grab it and rap it around Zabu's front leg.
Zabu: Growl (What...)
Ace: Bark (Not Cool cat, Not Cool).
While Zabu is distracted, Ace press the collar and activates a grapping hook that hooks onto a leaping deer, causing Zabu to be dragged into the stampede and out of the safety zone. As Zabu tries to cut the rope with his teeth, he is repeatedly trampled by the hordes of animals coming his away. After the stampede as ended, Ace peeks out from behind the tree and sees Zabu's lifeless and trampled body. Ace howls in victory, before he hears Batman calling his name and starts making his way back up the hill.

Boomstick: Well, it's official, I'm definitely a dog person now
Wiz: Both these were skilled fighters and had the experience to back it up, but only one had the true "best in show"
Boomstick: Sure Zabu may have been bigger and stronger than any normal dog, but Ace was anything but a normal dog. He's battle numerous opponents that outsize him, human and animal, and he's always able to hold his own.
Wiz: Ace was hold is own against both a monstrous mutant dog and hideously spliced businessman, and although he needed assistance from Batman to finish them off, it was surprising that he lasted this long with them
Boomstick: The Biggest threat Zabu faced were dragons and dinosaurs, and though those may seem more threatening, he never actually beat them, either fended them off or joined their cause. Even when fighting the Mad Titan Thanos, it took only one blast from his Infinity Gauntlet to zap at least 6 lives out of this big cat.
Wiz: With the help of his Utility Collar, Ace also had all the equipment he needed to give him the upper hand over his prehistoric adversary. Even without his collar, Ace has proven to be quick intelligent and resourceful, thanks to experience with Batman, tanking hits from the Joker's joy buzzer and still was willing to keep fighting to protect his owner.
Boomstick: And comparing their owner against each other, Ka-Zar stand little chance against the Dark Knight, outclassing him in every way imaginable
Wiz: Zabu may have been an apex predator and a talented survivors, Ace's hardcore background and brutal experiences, gave him the tools he need to emerge victorious.
Boomstick: I guess Zabu just couldn't keep up with the herd and got trampled
Wiz: The Winner is Ace the Bat Hound
