Yuri Sakazaki is one of the protagonists of the video game trilogy, Art of Fighting. She is the younger sister of Ryo Sakazaki and a member of the Art of Fighting team during The King of Fighters tournament.

History[]
Yuri Sakazaki is the sister of Ryo Sakazaki and the daughter of Takumi Sakazaki. She was kidnapped by Mr. Big on behalf of Geese Howard as part of a ploy to blackmail her father when he began to show signs of reluctance and resistance to continue doing their dirty work. While being held hostage, Yuri had found out about the identity of the mysterious Mr. Karate. She was later rescued by her brother and Robert Garcia after they defeated her captors. Yuri reveals Ryo the identity of Mr. Karate to be their father, and they were happily reunited.
Not wanting to get captured and be the damsel in distress again, Yuri decided to train and become strong. She started learning the style of Kyokugenryuu Karate from her father in secret, in order to protect herself.
