- The similarities between Young Link and Ogerpon are that both of them are short heroes who are mask users, who use said masks to take on powerful forms. Both of them have masks that embody elements of Grass (Deku Mask and Teal Mask), Fire (Goron Mask and Hearthflame Mask), and Water (Zora Mask and Wellspring Mask). Both of them fought against foes (Skull Kid and the Loyal Three) controlled by a mysterious mind controlling entity (Majora's Mask and Pecharunt). Both of them fight with a rather short weapon (Sword and Cudgel). Both of them are from Nintendo series (Zelda and Pokemon). In addition, both of them wear green. Both miss a companion of their's that they cared deeply for, they were separated from (Navi and Ogerpon's Trainer). Both of them are outsiders of the land they were in (Link being in Termina, as opposed to his home of Hyrule, and Ogerpon being in Kitakami, instead of it's unknown region of origin).
