Yellow Diamond is a military leader of the Gem Homeworld who is one of the four Diamonds, Gems that serve as the matriarch rulers of Gem World society. When Pink Diamond was shattered by Rose Quartz, Yellow Diamond took her peer's death hard and took her frustrations on the Earth and its native life. Thus Yellow Diamond oversaw the Cluster project after the Crystal Gems stopped Blue Diamond's attempt to continue colonization/terraformation of Earth. At the moment, assuming Earth will be a distant memory, Yellow Diamond is unaware of that the Cluster's awakening has been halted.
