INTRO

wiz: superheroes are so cool.

boomstick: they protect cities, fight crime, and have cool outfits.

wiz: this week's death battle is A battle between two heroes!

Wiz: WordGirl , The human dictionary Word power superhero from the planet lexicon,

boomstick: and XJ-9, or she likes to call herself Jenny, The teenage robot hero of tremerton.

wiz: this is going to be an epic battle between two heroes. So, buckle up, and stick around.

boomstick: he’s wiz, and I am boomstick,

Wiz: and it’s our job to analyze armor, weapons, and skill to see who would win and who would lose in DEATH BATTLE!

WordGirl is reading into DEATH BATTLE!

[WordGirl Theme Song Cover starts playing]

Wiz: in a galaxy, far far away...

boomstick: seriously? A Star Wars reference?

wiz: got a better introduction?

boomstick: yes, I do. Weird girl with “reading powers in death battle.

wiz: whatever. anyways, in a galaxy far far away, on the planet lexicon, A young baby crawled onto a Spaceship.

boomstick: The ship she crawled onto was Space pilot captain HuggyFace, her soon to be sidekick.

wiz: Captain HuggyFace was flying his spaceship with the baby. still in it. When caption HuggyFace noticed her, he was startled, and the ship flew off course.

Boomstick: due to this captain Huggy face had to crash-land the ship to another planet to save both of them: Earth.

Wiz: they crashed into the woods, and would soon come across Mr. and Mrs. Boxford, Who were having a picnic.

boomstick: they then took the baby and her monkey as their own.

Wiz: eventually, the baby became older and discovered that she had powers and decided to use her powers for good and became who she is today.

Boomstick: huh, not as lame as I thought.

Wiz: told you.

Wiz: that baby was WordGirl. Living a double life as a Becky Botsford, she jumped into action every time she hears or sees crime and transforms into WordGirl. Powers include superstrength, being able to throw multiple large building sized robots into the sun with little effort. The earth and the sun are roughly 91,000,000 miles apart.

Boomstick: and kicking the head off another which was about 2 to 3 times her size without even trying.

Wiz: if TJ wasn’t lying about this feat since we never see this on the show, Then WordGirl has lifted an entire mountain with just her pinky finger.

Wiz: she’s also extremely fast too. Even though the theme song says that she flies around the speed of sound, she’s very well closer to the speed of light, most likely even further than that.

Boomstick: she was able to Fly from Earth to the sun in under two seconds.

Wiz: in the rise of Ms. Power special, she flew from her spaceship that was well into the Woods to the center of the city in roughly 3-4 seconds.

Boomstick: she’s also extremely durable, never taking any notable damage throughout the entire show, and has stood next to the sun, which is extremely hot, and was completely fine.

Wiz: she also thanked a meteor the size of a whole park about to destroy the entire city with her bare hands and was fine.

Wiz: but her key power is her intelligence. It’s pretty much the point of her character.

boomstick: she’s very smart, being able to read very quickly, read ancient language, and knows every word in existence.

Wiz: She was also able to stealthily dismantle all of Toby ‘s robots without him noticing right when she arrived at a scene.

Boomstick: she also has super screams and laser eyes.

Wiz: it’s also implied that she goes soft of the villains and can easily destroy them whenever she wants.

Wiz: but every hero has weaknesses.

Boomstick: for WordGirl, her weakness is Lexonite, The kryptonite equivalent to her.

Wiz: lexonite makes WordGirl tired and weak.

Boomstick: A big pet peeve of hers is when someone uses words the wrong way, which annoys Her intensely.

Wiz: overall she’s strong strong and cool hero, and she is ready for DEATH BATTLE.

WordGirl: Woooord up!

X-J9 is sawing trough DEATH BATTLE!

[MLAATR electrode remix starts playing]

Wiz: Jenny Wakeman is just a normal gurl

Boomstick: dude, she’s a robot.

wiz: wait to spill the surprise.

Boomstick: who’s already mentioned in the intro.

Wiz: whatever. Jenny was created in the lab of dr. Nora Wakeman, to be a superhero and save the world.

Boomstick: but she just wants to be a normal teenage girl and do regular things. Personally, I would take the superhero life any day.

Wiz: Jenny can change her body parts to any weapon she desires, like fists, blades, hammers, and shields. She’s also has Advanced Strength, lifting a city block sized pyramid in the episode teen idol,

Boomstick: she is also very fast, being able to fly from earth to Mars in 7 seconds.

Wiz: she also has superhuman stamina, has been able to throw a building sized rocket ship to Mars, and has been able to throw away a giant Spaceship in the theme song.

Boomstick: she also has extremely fast reflexes and was able to flick off a steel door.

Boomstick: just like WordGirl, Jenny does have some weaknesses.

Wiz: like a regular robot, X-j9 Will rust in short circuit in the rain. She can be taken over from the inside and dismantled. She can also sometimes be a bit bratty and full of herself.

Wiz: she’s also been overpowered and defeated by other villains, like Misty or those rock people.

Boomstick: oh no, you don’t mean-

Wiz: no, ew. I meant in the actual show.

Wiz: despite these flaws, Jenny is a strong and good force, and is ready for death battle.

Jenny: that does sound pretty great, and the whole “enslavement of the human race” thing? Not so much.

Connections:

Both are non-human female superheroes who protect their respective towns(fair city in Tremerton) and have similar personalities. (brash but kind) both have four wide raise of villains and have gotten out of almost impossible situations.

(This one’s just for fun but both have had their How dare you do [insert thing here] to me moment lol

DPre-Fight

(it’s a normal sunny day in Tremerton, where x-j9 lives. X-j9 is reading A teen magazine, when she hears cranking sounds.)

X-j9: someone is wrecking the city!

(She flies off.)

Meanwhile, WordGirl and her sidekick captain Huggy face are flying after A few of tobeys robots.

WordGirl: stop right there!

(WordGirl fly's though the robots, destroying them one by one, before throwing the last one into the horizon, leaving robotic remains scattered everywhere. When she’s done, she looks around and notices that she’s in another city, Tremerton.)

WordGirl: looks like I’m not I’m fair city anymore, let’s go home, Huggy! Wooord-

(Before she’s able to fly off, she hears a machine landing behind her. It was x-j9, and she was glaring at her.)

x-j9: so, you are the one destroying the city. Well, that’s ending now!

WordGirl: wait what? I wasn’t-

(Before she could finish her sentence, the teenage robot flied at her and punched WordGirl into a nearby building.)

WordGirl: ugh...

(X-j9 then kicked her up, to the sky, but WordGirl was able to regain control.)

WordGirl: hey! What was that for!

x-j9: for destroying the city, and now, it’s time to meet Zeus.

FIGHT!

Wiz: all right then, the combatants are all set!

Boomstick: it’s time for a death battle!

(X-j9 changes her hands and her fists of fury and tries to punch WordGirl, but she flies out of the way. WordGirl uses her heat vision to blast the fists into bits.)

X-j9: agh!

(She then turns her cans back to normal and flies at WordGirl. WordGirl then flies at her too.)

CRASH!

(a yellow/red and turquoise/white lights lit up the city, crashing at each other dragonballz like, until WordGirl pushed x-j9 into an empty street block. X-j9 crashes onto the road.)

WordGirl: there. that should finish her off. let’s go back to fair city Huggy.

(She starts to slowly fly away, but unbeknownst to her, Jenny decided to sneak attack her, stealthily flying behind her, try not to make a sound. She slowly raises her mallet, and then...)

BOOM!

(WordGirl is sent hurtling to the ground.)

X-j9: hah! How does that feel?

WordGirl: it feels perfectly fine.

(WordGirl puts Captain HuggyFace onto a nearby building (something that will become important later) and flies at the robot.)

(She flies at her and uppercuts her so hard she flies into space.)

X-j9: ugh, is that all you’ve got?

WordGirl: not at all. In fact, I’m just getting started.

(WordGirl flies at x-j9 and hits her up again. X-j9 turns her hand into a lobster claw and extends it tries to grab WordGirl. WordGirl dodges every time until she’s eventually caught. X-j9 then punches her back down to earth. WordGirl lands onto a skyscraper. She immediately gets back up and hits x-j9 up further into space. The word lover flies at her, delivering a punch so hard it knocks off one of x-j9’s parts. Our favorite Robo girl has lost her left arm.)

x-j9: GAH! you will pay for this...

(Now angrier than before, she quickly replaces her left arm with her laser blaster and starts shooting at word girl. She’s able to dodge most of them, but one of the lasers hits her, sending her plummeting back to earth. That doesn’t stop her though, As WordGirl immediately gets up. X-j9 tries to grab her, but Mrs. and hits a nearby tall building, The same one WordGirl sidekick was on. As the building starts to crumble, WordGirl realizes her best friend is on there.)

WordGirl: HUGGY! NO!

(She tries to fly at the building to save him, but she is just a second too late. As the building crumbles down into nothing. WordGirl ‘s partner in crime, Side kick, and best friend, The reason she’s here, fighting all these villains and saving the world today, was no longer with her.)

WordGirl: no... Huggy...

(She stopped flying, she dropped down to her knees. She stared at the destroyed building.)

WordGirl: no... No! Just can’t be happening...

(The human dictionary had nothing left to say. But suddenly, her sadness turned to anger, she looked up At The teenage robot who looked down at her. she felt a little bad, but she Thought that WordGirl was trying to destroy the city anyway.)

WordGirl: that is IT! I don’t know what your problem is, but you killed my best friend! YOU ARE GOING DOWN.

X-J9: all right, I’m game.

ROUND 2

READY?

FIGHT!

(WordGirl immediately flies at Jenny And punches her into outer space.)

WordGirl: no more holding back.

(She backed away, then pulled a flurry of punches at the teenage robot. One after the other, she was doing severe damage to XJ9. She decides to counter WordGirl bye pulling out her tennis ball and smacking her away. The robot girl then pulled out her drill and flu at WordGirl, piercing into her stomach. WordGirl shrieked as she stopped flying and fell to the ground.)

WordGirl: I need a plan and fast!

(She decided to dig down underground. Swerving through the grass and trees, she went down. She had to think of a way to defeat this robot and killed her best friend once and for all. She knew that robot would be coming down any second now. meanwhile, XJ9 are used her drill to calm down, further she got the slightly hotter she got. once you reach the end of word girl's hole....)

AAAAAAH!!!

(WordGirl used her supersonic scream. It was so loud that it stunned X-j9. WordGirl then grabbed her and flew up to space. she then tried to punch her in the stomach, but Jenny blocked it with her open shield.)

X-J9: Nice try, but I am stronger.

(X-j9 pulls out her rocket power and start shooting rockets at WordGirl. I was super word lover Dodgers most of them but get hit by one. She retaliates by catching the next rocket.)

WordGirl: you’re going to have to do better than that!

(She easily spins the rocket around and throws it at XJ9.)

KABOOM!

(With a shriek, the teenage robot is sent far into space. She uses her jet boots to fly back. While flying, she pulls out her mass hammer and hit sit at word girl. WordGirl gets pushed back and a bruise, but mostly doesn’t react.)

WordGirl: I’m done with this battle. You killed my friend, and you will pay. Let’s end this.

(The camera zooms in on word girls face.)

X-j9: fine then, let’s.

(The camera zooms in on x-j9’s face.)

ROUND 3

READY?

FIGHT!

(Jenny turns her only arm into a flamethrower and shoots it at word girl. WordGirl dodges, for her cape and gloves are now on fire. Reacting quickly, WordGirl flies down into the ocean. Almost instantly, she comes back up with a punch, sending x-j9 away. She comes back up and her eyes start to turn red. WordGirl knows what she’s doing in her eyes turn red too. Both are using their laser vision.)

PEOH!

PEOH!

(As they try to overpower each other, WordGirl notices that Jenny starting to become tired out, and also angrier.)

(WordGirl Is to overpower her and send her flying back.)

X-j9: AAH!

(The blast does serious damage to her, now being mostly burnt, and having some of her parts holding her weapons Burnt off.)

X-j9: this is funny anymore.

WordGirl: stop being funny when you KILLED MY FREIND!

X-j9: UGH! WHY WONT YOU JUST STAY DOWN!!

WordGirl: because I am a naturally trained Hero and I will not fail.

(Now angrier than ever, Jenny charges at WordGirl. She pulls out multiple weapons in charges at word girl.)

(she then hit her with her arm saw and razor claw. Scratching up the word lover severely. She then takes her freeze ray and freezers word girl. She’s done it. She’s defeated her. Until her eyes sparkle red.)

BOOM!

(WordGirl breaks out of the ice in a similar way her rival, Miss Power did.)

WordGirl: made that mistake before, but now this is going to stop me.

(XJ9 looks in shock for a few seconds, and then immediately turns to anger. She pulls out her thunder fist.)

X-j9: TIME TO SEE YOUR STUPID MONKEY AGAIN, SEEYA!

(Little did she know, what she just said was the straw that broke the robots everything for WordGirl. She just stands there with a glare. Jenny is about to attack, but WordGirl silently grabs the thunder fist.)

X-j9: Wait, what?

(Realizing her mistake, she changes back to her regular arms and tries to blow WordGirl away using her turbine hair, while she starts flying away, but the super reader is not going anywhere. Even though the turbine is slowing her down. She still able to catch up to the robot girl, breaking off both her turbine pigtails, and part of her boots, meaning she can no longer fly. She starts plummeting to the ground.)

X-j9: AAAAAH!

(Before she can fall, WordGirl catches her. X-j9 then and tries to pull out her thunder fist again, but where a girl immediately grabs that, then she starts spinning. Going faster and faster, she transforms into a golden ball.)

WordGirl: Time to say goodbye, metalhead.

X-j9: wa-wait! No!

(She swings the teenage robot into The Tremerton nuclear power plant. Robo girl Tries to fly out, but without her jet boots or her pigtails, she can’t. Suddenly...)

KABOOM!

(The power plant explodes. and the robot girl flies out with it. Now reduced to her skeleton, she lands right next WordGirl.)

X-j9: no... you can’t defeat me!

(without saying a word (lol) WordGirl grabs her and crushes her with her bare hands. The robot that protected Tremerton, is no more.)

K.O!!!!

WordGirl immediately flies back to the skyscraper that ended up collapsing and killing her sidekick, with tears, she takes his remains and flies back to fair city to start planning a funeral.

all that’s left of XJ9? Pieces of her body spread all across the town, pinkish-white bolts and screws inside the remains of the power plant, and a small slightly teal-Ish black, crumpled up piece of metal, The remains of the teenage robot.

Results

Boomstick: Wait... what?! HOW!

Wiz: to be fair, this battle was VERY close. so close the guy writing this death battle actually had trouble deciding who the winner should be!

Boomstick: oh.

Wiz: in terms of strength, jenny did lift up a pyramid the size of a city block and did show by her facial expression that she WAS struggling. meanwhile, WordGirl threw multiple robots into the sun with ease.

Boomstick: for speed, XJ9 flew from the sun to the earth in seven seconds, well word girl flew from the Moon to the sun in only TWO.

Wiz: X-j9 is very inconsistent durability wise, sometimes she gets out of impossible situations without a scratch, other times she can be easily exploded or destroyed. Neither way, WordGirl has taken little to no damage throughout her entire series.

Wiz: while Jenny had a bigger arsenal, WordGirl is smart and strong enough to be able to counter almost all of it, and if she wanted to she could just Fly past Jenny and take out all of her bolts and screws like she did to one of Toby‘s robots.

Wiz: overall, while X-j9 was a very worthy opponent, she ended up completely out Bolted, while WordGirl has the final say.

Boomstick: guess you could say that she’s been “out-circuited"!)

(silence, while the cricket sound effect plays.)

Wiz: is that supposed to be funny?

Boomstick: yeah :(

Wiz: The winner is: WordGirl.
