Wood Man is a combat Robot Master created by Dr. Albert W. Wily using natural hinoki cypresses from the Mega Man franchise, being one of the eight who appeared in Mega Man 2.

History[]

Wood Man was one of the first set of Robot Masters solely created by Dr. Albert Wily, built with an exoskeleton almost made entirely of wood. His Special Weapon, the Lead Shield, are leaf-shaped pieces of ceramic titanium that Wood Man can spin in the air at a rapid rate to create a makeshift shield or launch at an opponent. He set up shop in a forest before being defeated by Mega Man.
