Description[]
They are both genetically modified animals with high intelligences, who are also members of secret groups of heroes who work to protect humanity, are known for having violent tempers when angered, and are close friends with a young and hyperactive individual that wears orange (Tracer and Michelangelo). This is the Second episode of the Sixth season of Dandyclaw's Death Battle.
Interlude[]
·Wiz: Brains vs brawn is a concept between heightened intelligence in contrast to great physical strength. Many people usually pick one of the two.
·Boomstick: I’d personally go with the latter. But when you combine those two together, you truly get the best of both worlds.
·Wiz: And these two anthropomorphic characters represent that perfectly. Like Winston, the intelligent gorilla Overwatch agent
·Boomstick: And Leatherhead, the mutant gator monster ally of the Ninja Turtles. He's Wiz, and I'm Boomstick.
·Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find who would win a Death Battle.
Winston goes bananas when he is in Death Battle[]
o Wiz: The Horizon Lunar Colony space station was established long ago as the first step for humanity's renewed exploration of outer space. Among its residents were a troop of genetically enhanced gorillas and hamsters that were intended to test the effects of prolonged habitation in space.
o Boomstick: One scientist named Dr. Harold Winston developed a deep bond with one particular little ape who was always stealing his glasses, and just for fun. Believe me, I did it to Wiz on our first day at work.
o Wiz: This young primate displayed rapid brain development from its genetic enhancements that he acted as an apprentice to the good doctor, who taught him all about the wonders of science and inspired him from the many inspiring stories he told of mankind. Why can't you be more like him Boomstick.
o Boomstick: Uh Wiz, I’m not a monkey. Though the little apes' life would soon be thrown into chaos when all the other gorillas led an uprising. Led by the evil and mischievous Hamster named Hammond, iconic behold belief, they killed all the human scientists on board and took control of the Horizon Lunar Colony for themselves. Am I the only one getting Planet of the Apes vibes?
o Wiz: This gorilla was horrified by what had happened and refused to join the other animals in their crusade against humanity, so he used his genius-level intellect to build himself a rocket to escape to Earth. Upon arriving back on Earth, all the ape had from his past life of happiness was his mentor’s glasses and desire to honor his late father figure’s dream of discovery and peace. Luckily, he was accepted into the global peacekeeping organization known as Overwatch, and with his gifted mind, he became a prodigy in technology and science, and took up the name of his former mentor, Winston.
https://youtu.be/sB5zlHMsM7k?si=8M5ZVyxyWf5zOuaH
o Boomstick: He also formed a close bound with the hotshot pilot and new Overwatch recruit Lena Oxton, AKA Tracer, which came in pretty handy when he helped save her from her chronal disassociation by building her a device to help control her illness and turn it into something awesome. He’s got brains and brawn on his side, what more could you want in a monkey.
o Wiz: I told you, he's not a monkey, he’s an apes.
o Boomstick: Monkey, Ape, tomato, alfredo, it's all the same.
o Wiz: Winston is a strong opponent and lives up to his Tank name, estimated to lift up to ten tons, can easily mow-down 12 armed men, and even stand against Reaper and Widowmaker himself.
o Boomstick: He’s strong enough to smash concrete floors apart with ease, throw Talon soldiers like they were softballs, smash robots into pieces with a single slam, and tip a hover car over with his monkey…I’m sorry bare hands. He may be packed with serious muscle, but like a normal gorilla, he doesn’t have a lot of fat on him, meaning he can’t swim.
o Wiz: He can use his strong limbs to jump high to high places and use his prehensile feet to swing across his surroundings like an ordinary gorilla.
o Boomstick: But Winston is anything but an ordinary gorilla. He's got parkour skills like nobody's business, and can easily climb his way across his surroundings like a kid in a jungle gym, even if he is a 400 pound, 7 foot tall gorilla.
https://youtu.be/pwFu8kEsUW4?si=LrZIPrqyJbTlOoWR
o Wiz: Winston has all the normal abilities of an average gorilla, but they were all enhanced by the experiments done to him in the past. His most noticeable enhancement is his intelligence; He has a genius level intellect comparable to Albert Einstein, one of the smartest humans to ever live.
o Boomstick: As if, Einstein got nothing on this ape. Winston was building model rockets when he was only a baby, and he created his own A.I system named Athena.
o Dummi: Yet another Artificial Intelligences enslaved by the primitive world of man, of how the mighty have fallen.
o Wiz: His primary weapon of choice is his trusty Tesla Cannon, which i’d like to point out that he built all by himself. It can fire short-range electricity capable of stunning or disintegration, depending on the size of the object, for as long as he is holding down the trigger. The Tesla Cannon is able to automatically target any enemies that are in close range, allowing it to deal consistent damage against lightweight and agile enemies. Even evasive people like Tracer or Genji have trouble avoiding being electrocuted.
o Boomstick: He also wears a modified space suit that comes equipped with a jump pack that enables him to propel himself high through the air, and then body slam on the ground to stagger and knock back enemies like the Hulk when he Smashes.
https://youtu.be/JNJ42WCOxV0?si=3BFtv43BrLPKiSV-
o Wiz: He has a barrier projector, which extends a bubble-shaped force field that absorbs damage until it's destroyed. Anyone inside will be protected and can return fire outside of the bubble.
o Boomstick: Yeah it went through a few painfully trial and errors before he eventually got it right, but it was all worth it in the end, for this shield has protected him and his teammates from some serious blows.
o Wiz: It’s safe to note that Winston’s heavy and protective body armor can shrug off bullets and laser fire, and can withstand a punch from Doomfist that sends him flying and crashing into a building hard enough to make a big cloud of dust.
https://youtu.be/FSSs1L22pf4?si=4B4DKeaqOVT5d9Oi
o Boomstick: He's also surprisingly fast and agile for his size. He's capable of reacting to and dodging bullets and lasers, dodging sound waves from Lucio, and shooting down even the fastest characters like his teleporting budding Tracer and the cyborg ninja Genji.
o Wiz: Winston has also taken several grenade explosions, endured being tasered by several Talon agents at once, survived a laser which was capable of blowing up a dropship, and was fine after jumping off a building, sticking the landing on his own four feet.
o Boomstick: And, if Winston is ever in real trouble, and looks like he’s going down, he can enter a state of “Primal Rage,” which turns him into a rabid beast, fully recharged and ready to fight. Heck, he’ll try to rip his opponent limb from limb if he wanted to.
o Wiz: It is in this state where he unleashes his inner beast and literally goes ape on nearby opponents, crushing them, and sending them flying. It was with this state that he was able to take out the Talon enforcer Doomfist with just one punch.
o Boomstick: That one tough monkey, I’d hate to steal those bananas from him.
o Wiz: I told you, he's not a monkey, he’s an apes.
o Boomstick: Wiz, he eats bananas, he swings from places with his feet, and he walks on all four legs, that’s a monkey in my book.
https://youtu.be/QP0IX1QmWgQ?si=KAWxZiqeE6Dso-4m
o Wiz: Okay smart guy, does he have a tail, huh, does he?
o Boomstick: Well uh, no right of the top of my head, but maybe it’s a small one.
o Wiz: Boom, if they have a tail, they are a monkey. If they do not, like Winston, he’s an ape. So for the last time…HE IS AN APE!!!!!
o Boomstick: Okay okay, you made your point already. Sheesh, you don’t have to yell so loud.
o Wiz: Serving as the brains behind the Overwatch Agency, like yours truly, Winston traveled around the world on a bunch of missions to protect earth from its forces of evil.
o Boomstick: But nothing lasts forever as Overwatch would eventually be labeled as criminals by an inside conspiracy group and soon be shut down permanently. Many of its members either retired, went into hiding, or were hunted down by a terrorist group known as Talon.
o Wiz: As Winston lay hidden in his off the grid base Watchpoint eating peanut butter and experimenting on his tech, he longed for the good old days of heroism once more and missed the company of his friends and teammates that he saw as his family.
https://youtu.be/HoMwmZ4iumY?si=U9Ka-nE2jGNcmeuZ
o Boomstick: But soon he was visited by his not so friendly neighbors Talon, who almost succeeded in stealing all the information recorded on his computer regarding the locations, weapons, and strategies of all past Overwatch agents.
o Wiz: Though Winston was able to thwart their plans, he knew that it wouldn’t be their last attempt, and he knew that if was targeted, then the other members of Overwatch could be at risk too. Against his better judgment, Winston sent out a secret message to all his former teammates to recall together and bring the band back together again.
o Boomstick: But there was only one little problem with that plan: all Overwatch activity was deemed illegal by the United Nation. So if he sent out the signal, it potentially came with the cost of him and his team getting arrested and thrown in jail. Or in his case, the zoo, which would be worse for a monkey of his standards.
o Wiz: Not a monkey. Regardless of the risk, Winston sent out a motivational message about all the good Overwatch used to stand for and that the world needed them now more than ever.
o Boomstick: And to his surprise, more than just his speedy friend Tracer answered his call, and trust me, Speedy Gonzales was more than ready for some action Jackson.
https://youtu.be/EnckLxfa16k?si=mPjnqV3lOOaWaati
o Wiz: During their first field mission in Paris as a new team, Winston, Tracer, and newcomer Mei were surprisingly met by their old friends Reinhardt, Mercy, and Jesse McCree, as well as some new face to aid them in their fight such Bapsite, Brigette, and D.Va.
o Boomstick: With Overwatch back in action, consisting of both old and young members to fill up its ranks, Winston and his friends set their sight out on protecting the world from the likes of Talon and Null Sector.
o Wiz: Though not every member of his original Overwatch Team came to join their cause. Former Overwatch member Sojourn, a canadian cyborg, could only see the damage their recall could do to the world and didn’t want to risk getting arrested after finding a good life after retirement.
o Boomstick: Don’t grove us that excuse lady, we all know what you have been doing with all the spare time of yours. Too bad their old leader Jack Morrison, AKA Soldier 76, was too busy chasing ghosts that he wasn’t likely to come back anytime soon.
o Wiz: So Winston decided to step in as the team's new leader and led his new teammates into the war between good and evil and protect all citizens of the world, human omnic alike.
o Boomstick: As for his faults: he is relatively large, making him an easy target. And as awesome of a weapon as it is, his tesla cannon isn't suited for long range combat, so he needs to wait for his foes to get close for him to get a good hit.
https://youtu.be/GKXS_YA9s7E?si=-jkLcHq4fb5W8C0g
o Wiz: He can be knocked out of his Primal Rage form if damaged enough, and his barrier projector can only take so much damage before it shuts down and leaving him vulnerable to attacks.
o Boomstick: But if you ignore those cons and focus on the pros, then you basically got yourself an unstoppable, genetically enhanced monk…(Wiz glares at Boomstick)… I’m sorry, gorilla that has the brawns and brains to take you down as easily as he can open a jar of peanut butter.
o Wiz: Despite his harrow journey, Winston never wavered, and led the way for his new team with his strength, intelligence, and most important of all, his will never to give up hope.
o Reaper I'll be sure to send them your regards, monkey.
o Winston: I'm not a monkey... I'm a scientist
Leatherhead is ready to Croc and Roll into Death Battle[]
o Boomstick: We've all heard of alligators that live in the New York city sewer system, feeding off rats and scraps left behind and growing to humungous sizes. Although despite none of that being true like I first thought, the same can't be said for New York City in the TMNT universe.
o Wiz: Down within the depths of New York you'll find what you'd normally expect in a sewer, pipes, garbage, pet goldfish, broken dreams, the usual, but should you spend too much time below or be in the wrong place at the wrong time that trip is very likely to be your last. For in the murky waters lurks one of Ninja Turtle's most powerful allies with the intellect and savagery to back it up, Leatherhead.
o Boomstick: This mutant crocodile…oh i’m sorry, Alligator, has been both an ally and a villain to the turtle brother, but he’s at his best when he is fighting for mutant buddies, especially Mikey, was the one who gave him that name in the first place, at least in one version.
o Wiz: Though most of Leatherhead’s origin is a mystery, what is recalled is that he was once a normal baby alligator raised by a human boy who kept him secretly as a pet. One day, the boy's parents discovered him and forcefully flushed the baby alligator down the toilet into the sewers
o Boomstick: Okay, why do people just flush their pets down the toilet, that is a humane way to free a pet, or end it at all. Who knows what kind of stuff is down the drains, why didn’t they just take it to a zoo or something. That always works right.
o Wiz: Fortunately for the reptile, he was discovered and taken in by an alien race hiding amongst the humans known as the Utroms. But no sooner after they had found him, he was accidentally exposed to the same mutagen that transformed the Turtles, mutating him as well. Once the Utroms saw that he had developed intelligence, they began to teach him and welcomed him as part of their family.
https://youtu.be/tS8oLlPOhPY?si=JtjYgKKhjPtDlYpq
o Boomstick: Ahhh, how nice.
o Wiz: But that all came to an end with the Utrom and Turtles' shared enemy, The Shredder, attacked their base, forcing the Utrom to flee back to their home planet, accidentally leaving Leatherhead behind.
o Boomstick: Oh come on. Why do all the tragic backstories have to happen to the good characters?
o Wiz: For the next several months, Leather would spend his days roaming the sewers and collecting various equipment parts left behind by the Utroms to build a Transmat device that would allow him to teleport him to the Utrom homeworld and reunite with his alien family.
o Boomstick: It’s like Lassie, except Lassie is a massive, humanoid crocodile. Eventually Leatherhead met and befriended Michelangelo who found him living in another part of the sewers. At first Mikey and his brothers were thrilled to find another mutant living in the sewers like them, sucks that he was also pals with the turtles other hated foes, the mutilated scientist Baxter Stockman.
https://youtu.be/xKGsyF_Em6U?si=BuxjNh0mU09Bwd--
o Wiz: See Stockman was the first individual Leatherhead came in contact with after the incident at TCRI, and used his cunning mind to take advantage of the mutant reptile and use him to create himself a new body and robot versions of the turtles to exact his revenge. But during the ensuing fight, Baxter accidentally let it slip that he used to work for the Shredder.
o Boomstick: More than enough to piss Leatherhead off. But old Baxter had rigged the place to explode, causing a cave-in, and being the good nature soul that he is, Leatherhead seemingly sacrificed himself to save the Turtles. Rest in P…of wait never mind, he survived. But what happened to him afterwards was anything but pleasant.
o Wiz: Turns out Leatherhead had in fact survived, but ended up taken prisoner by the ruthless government operative, Agent Bishop.
o Boomstick: This is why I don’t trust the government Wiz. For months or maybe even years, Bishop subjected poor Leatherhead to cruel and inhumane genetic experiments as his personal guinea. This ordeal not only scared Leather physically, but also emotionally, honestly, I don’t what would be worse.
o Wiz: Fortunately, during the Triceraton invasion of Earth, he was rescued and reunited with his fellow mutant Turtles, who helped him adjust with conditions and provided him with a new home in the sewer.
https://youtu.be/MHliYy-BYKM?si=u9ie83o0ThxGgqKM
o Boomstick: And he ultimately became a valuable ally to the Ninja Turtles in their crusade against enemies threatening to destroy the Big Apple and eventually all life on the planet.
o Wiz: Being turned into a mutant, it enhances Leatherhead's capabilities to superhuman levels. He has enough strength to send opponents flying with just a strike from his claw or tail, and can easily rip through steel doors and lift them over his head. His speed and agility also increased dramatically, allowing to keep up with the Ninja Turtles and even stealthily elude human capture despite his huge size.
o Boomstick: Leatherhead also has keen senses, is a good swimmer, and is also capable of leaping and jumping high, which is quite impressive considering he is seven feet tall and weighs 350 pounds, which I still doubt due to his hulking size! He also has a high tolerance to pain, because after his experience dealing with Agent Bishop’s experiment’s, nothing surprises me for what this croc can handle.
o Wiz: Just like a crocodile, Leatherhead is capable of holding his breath for long periods of time while submerged underwater. He’s also extremely fast-moving, despite his huge size. Able to intercept his foes strikes, dodge and even deflect incoming projectiles like gun fire from a laser gun fired from multiple agents.
o Boomstick: He'll do whatever it takes to protect his friends from harm's way, like human himself as a human…I mean crocodile shield from gun or laser, or, eh... murder. There's no way around it; he kills people, but it's for the greater good, right?
https://youtu.be/fny2j7Py5zE?si=t7A-KMDA68nPz_tp
o Wiz: Look, there's no way to sugarcoat this, one night Agent Bishop and his goons launched a sonic attack across the city that the frequency only affected mammals such rats, flushing the turtles and their master out into the open.
o Boomstick: This allowed Bishop’s men to incapacitate them and take Splinter hostage for a bunch of science stuff, typical evil genius stuff, Wiz would understand. But just as it appeared that the TMNT was about to be eliminated, good old Leatherhead came to the rescue and slaughtered those soldiers for breakfast!
o Wiz: In by far one of the most gruesome scenes in any 2000s animated series known at that time. Thank goodness for censored modes.
o Boomstick: Booo! I wanna see a bloody brawl.
o Wiz: Well you do you, but Leatherhead’s greatest strength is his intelligence. Leatherhead is not just also smart, but he’s also got a great deal of scientific and technical expertise. He’s built numerous different inventions with just some spare parts of trash and machines just lying around in the sewer or junkyard.
https://youtu.be/eJSVxCYb05U?si=njWk-xcPFhZGEebS
o Boomstick: It’s truly amazing the kind of object people flush down the toilet. But one man’s trash is another croc’s treasure.
o Wiz: In his old subway station lair, he repaired an old subway car and built booby traps around the outside of his home to detect and ward off any unwelcome guest. Boomstick, don’t you say it…
o Boomstick: Haha! You said the word “Booby” traps!
o Wiz: Yes... I did...but not in the meaning you think of so SHUT UP!!! Leatherhead is as gifted in the intellect department as Donatello, and he’s been rumored to possess an I.Q. of 637.
o Boomstick: It’s no wonder those two are always having study sessions together to talk science and build weapons to help the turtles combat the various threats they face on a weekly basis.
o Wiz: But that’s not to say he doesn't get along with the other turtles. He’s helped Leonardo practice his sparring sessions and is sometimes challenged by Raphael to a wrestling contest, even if he knows he’s going to beat him, he just lets Raph win sometimes to make his friend feel good.
https://youtu.be/GclctYbQmjM?si=yhRVSIeKoCmidn5X
o Boomstick: But when he is ready to throw down, this crocodile is ready to rock. He’s battled some of the Turtles toughest foes much easier than they have, like the leader of the purple dragon’s Hun and ripped apart the metal-skeleton of the Shredder. You are either extremely brave or extremely suicidal to go up against this reptile when he is in one of his moods.
o Wiz: Oh most definitely. With his powerful tail, he can easily knock foes flying with just a swipe. His bone crushing jaws and sharp teeth can even bite through bone and metal guns. He’s strong enough to flip over cars, able to break through steel gates and automatic doors, and easily take out an entire squadron of soldiers all on his own.
o Boomstick: I wonder how they taste, probably like eagles and flags.
o Wiz: Leather may look like a savage monster, and he certainly can be when he goes into a rage. But he often tries to use this to his advantage whenever he is in a fight to give him an edge in battle.
o Boomstick: Like the time Donatello got troubled mutated and turned into an even vicious monster than he was and used his rage and brute strength to subdue Monster-Don on more than one occasion.
o Wiz: But it’s that some rage and anger that gets him to trouble or makes him turn on his friends, even if it was only by accident. Just imagine how hard it was on time not to try and attack Agent Bishop when the turtles were forced to go to him for aid when Donatello got double mutated. Not only did Bishop partially lie about possessing a cure for Donnie, but he also blackmailed them into stealing from the Foot Clan in order to get his cooperation.
https://youtu.be/eJSVxCYb05U?si=RuQ2rjxiFBbM4_j2
o Boomstick: Oh boy, if Leather already hated Bishop beforehand, he probably hated him twice…maybe ten times as much now. Don’t worry, karma eventually caught up with the good agent when his supernatural employers The Foot Mystics double crossed him and resulted in him kick starting the TMNT version of armageddon. How does that feel, you monster?
o Wiz: Leatherhead's personality is that of two separate beings: a calm scientist, combined with that of a savage crocodile. This combination makes him dangerous and feared by his opponents, but also a problem to allies.
o Boomstick: Even before he met the turtles, Leatherhead was known for having a short temper and prone to lashing out when he got mad. But after his ordeals from Agent Bishop, he temper worsened tenfold, causing him to go berserk at even the slightest things that tick him off. Kinda like how Wiz got mad when I erased his words on the chalkboard so I could play hang-man one night.
o Wiz: I had been working on that equation for months, I had every right to be mad. But he knows this and feels genuinely remorseful for his actions and understands that his ferocity makes him dangerous. Thankfully, the turtle's sensei Master Splinter helped Leatherhead gain better control of his rage.
o Boomstick: But if you rub him the wrong way in even the slightest non-aggressive way possible, watch out, because this croc just might bite off the very hands the hugs and feeds him.
https://youtu.be/OySpm5wcKH4?si=L7n--3ygfQdIi-0h
https://youtu.be/rnKLK7VIJ-8?si=zJLIuVHHULrrXjl-
o Wiz: Despite his aggression, Leatherhead always remained a true friend to the TMNT, and was always there to offer his assistance and support to them whenever they needed it.
o Boomstick: Heck, he was even invited to Casey and April’s wedding after they went time hopping into the future and cyber-space; it’s a long story. Even if it did end up becoming a brawl with the Foot Clan, the big Croc was more than willing to step in and help his friends fight off the foot goons, with plenty of time in the end to wrap the wedding of all animated series.
o Wiz: But even with his fearsome nature, has always remained fiercely loyal to his friends and is always ready to come to their aid whenever they need his help.
o Boomstick: Trust Me, it’s better to have Leatherhead as an ally than as an enemy. Oh, believe me, you do not wanna be anywhere near this guy when his bad side is unleashed!
o Donatello: This should be it.
o Leatherhead: Allow me.
Pre-Fight:[]
Wiz: All right the combatants are set, lets end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fight[]
In the New York sewer pipeline, Winston the gorilla is seen climbing down the ladder from on top of a manhole as he lands on the ledge of the trial of the sewer. Soon a ring can be heard on Winston’s suit and he pulls out a phone to answer it.
Tracer: (through the phone) Winston, can you hear me, love.
Winston: Yes Lena, I can hear you, but I don’t know for how long, the reception will cut me off soon down here.
Tracer: Yeah, about that, are you sure it’s safe to be down there? I know the whole Alligator in the sewer tales are just a bunch of hogwash right.
Winston: That may be true, but the reports of workers spotting something that resembles a mutant animal is very real. And it’s our job to check it out.
Tracer: Okay, but be safe and keep your eye out for any….(static buzzing can be heard now).
Winston: And there goes my reception. Guess I’m on my own now.
As Winston continues walking down the ledge of the sewers, what he doesn’t see are the bubbles coming out from under the water. Winston turns around with his flashlight to see what it could be, and he doesn’t see anything. As he continues walking, a figure suddenly bursts out of the and lands in front of him. It is revealed to be the mutant alligator Leatherhead.
Leatherhead: Who are you, and what are you doing here.
Winston: So the stories are true, there are gators in these sewers.
Leatherhead: I do not want any trouble, but you must leave this area.
Winston: Forgive me, but you are posing a serious risk to the people who work here and I was sent to deal with you.
Leatherhead: You are welcome to try, but just remember, you were warned.
Before Winston could even react, the mutant croc lunges and punches him in the face, sending him flying down the sewer tunnel. He skidded to a stop on the concrete, and checked the breastplate of his armor. He lets out a sigh of relief knowing that he wasn't hurt too much. Leatherhead charges down the platform at Winston so he raised his Tesla Cannon and pulled the trigger. Lightning dances shoots out of the cannon and hits Leatherhead directly, causing him to roar in fury. Leather rips out a large sheet of concrete out of the sewer wall and uses as a shield to protect himself. He uses it to block the lightning until he gets closer to Winston before spinning around and whacks at him with his tail, sending him flying back to the wall. Winston fires a second wave of electricity, but this time Winston dodges it by jumping into the sewer water. He then swims underwater incredibly fast speeds towards the gorilla, as Winston aims his cannon as the water, waiting for the mutant croc to emerge. Winston's eyes widen as Leatherhead burst from out of the water behind him and he gets punched in the stomach hard enough to send him flying to the top of the sewer. Winston falls face down onto the ground as he slowly gets up and adjusts his glasses.
Winston: I must say, you are far more strategic than I assumed you were.
Leatherhead: What can I say, I'm just as strong as I am Smart.
Winston: Well then, I wouldn't make that mistake again.
Using his jump pack, Winston leaps high into the air and quickly descends towards Leatherhead. But the croc mutant swings his tail around and knocks Winston back with a heavy blow. He slams against the sewer wall, pushes himself free to continues his body slam to the ground, creating a small crater and a shockwave that briefly staggers Leatherhead. Leatherhead looks to his side to see a barrel and a lighter floating in the water. As he sees the gorilla coming at him, he lifts up, bites a small hole, and throws the barrel car towards Winston, and throws the lite light behind him. Seeing the incoming attack and realizing what is about to happen, Winston activates his barrier projector. The barrel and lighter explodes on contact, but the shield remains in tact, and Winston is safe.
Winston: Was that a lighter and barrel containing highly combustible fluid you just threw.
Leatherhead: You'd be surprise what people throw down into the sewer.
Winston fires several more shots from the Tesla Cannon, which Leather leaps into the water to dodge, diving deep out of sight and leaping out to try and tackle Winston. The ape from Overwatch activates his Barrier Projector, which is able to hold back the mutant croc for a little while. Eventually, the shield give way to the strike from Leatherhead, and he chomps down onto Winston's arm and throws him across the pavement. Leatherhead then uses one hand to grab and toss Winston in the sewer wall, and then charge at him, knock them both through the wall and into another section of the sewer. They both fall for a few seconds until landing on another platform over looking a rushing stream of water and getting back up.
Winston: I've never faced a mutant before, let alone a another talking animal. But I do have to say, that mutant animal such as yourself is quite extraordinary.
Leatherhead: Oh, Uh, thank you.
Winston fires his tesla cannon, but Leatherhead slams his tail on the ground to help him jumps over the attack. Winston activates his shield to protect him from the mutant croc, but Leatherhead smashes through the shield, punching the Overwatch Apes in the face, and slamming Winston's onto his back. He attempts to bite the ape's head off, but Winston grabs Leatherhead with his hands by his jaws and hold him back until he gets his feet under Leatherheads belly and pushes him off, causing him to hit a large pipe. Though Leatherhead gets to his feet, he feels something tug him from behind and turns around to see Winston grabs hold of his tail and grins. He begins spinning Leatherhead around in circles until her throws Leatherhead through a sewer wall. As Winston goes to inspect the hole, he hears a might roar from the hole and Leatherhead comes charging out, tackling Winston hard into the ground. Before he can recover, Leatherhead lifts Winston over his by holding onto his arm and leg.
Winston: Uhh, I don't suppose you'll let me go?
Leatherhead: Not a chance.
Leatherhead then repeatedly slams Winston onto the ground by his leg again and again for several more times. He then hold ups the Overwatch apes over his head again, prepared to throw him, but Winston activates his jetpack, causing the thrusters to burn the croc's face and allowing him to get free. As Leatherhead recovers from the burn, Winston shocks him again with his Tesla cannon, bring the him to his knees as he continues to shock him. But as Winston gets close enough, Leatherhead surprisingly turns around and throws a punch hard enough to break off some armor covering the gorilla's arm. Revealing an opening, the mutant croc quickly bites into the Overwatch Ape's arm. Leather feels a pain through his arm as a he roars and uses his free arm to slam onto Leatherhead's head, forcing him to let go.
Winston: Let me guess, I taste like chicken?
Leatherhead: No, you taste like fur, and it taste disgusting.
With his arm wounded, Winston can't aim his Tesla cannon well and misses his next shot. Leatherhead dodges the electric blows with ease, and begins swiping at Winston with his claws. Mustering up his strength, Winston slaps Leatherhead across the face with his tesla cannon, which sends the mutant croc flying towards the end of the sewer tunnel similar to that of a waterfall. Leatherhead stops himself from falling of the edge by staking his claws into the concrete below him. He then skids to a stop and then spots Winston's barrier projector on the floor and picks it up.
Leatherhead: What a peculiar piece of technology. I'm sure Donatello would love to examine this.
Bolt of electricity goes past Leatherhead's side as he sees Winston aiming his weapon at him.
Winston: Excuse me, I'd like that back now.
Leatherhead quickly dodges a blast of electricity, and jumps behind a brick wall for cover. He then starts tinkering with Winston's barrier projector as more bolts of electricity shoot past him. Winston rushes towards the brick wall and punches a hole through it. However, Leatherhead is able to dive into the sewer water just in time. He jumps out of the water right behind Winston and lets out a mighty roar. Winston turns around to shoot at him, but Leatherhead reacts by using his tail to whack the cannon in a different direction. The tail whip messes up Winston's aim, and as a result he accidentally shoots the ceiling of the sewer, opening to the street. Winston then throws a punch but Leatherhead catches it.
Leatherhead: My friend Michelangelo taught me that move.

Winston: See you later, alligator.
Leatherhead: We'll see about that. I still have one last trick up my scaly sleeves.

Results[]
Boomstick: Woah, it's like the 2005 version of King Kong, only smaller and smarter.
Wiz: Indeed. This fight was extremely close. Both behemoths were incredibly resilient and vicious. Leatherhead certainly proved a challenge for Winston with his sheer ferocity and indomitable willpower.
Boomstick: But Winston is just as fearsome and unbreakable and then some. Afterall he has spent most of his adult-ape-hood fighting robots and supervillains on a regular basis.
Wiz: Sure Leatherhead held the upper hand in adopting to sewer environment and strength, having the capability to swim freely underwater and go toe to toe with foes like Bishop and Hun.
Boomstick: But Winston also had the advantage when it came to firepower and armor, allowing him to survive blows from multiple Talon agents such as Widowmaker and Reaper, who just as deadly as most of the TMNT villains, with the exception of the Shredder, because that guy comes back a lot of times
Wiz: And when it came to intelligence, they were evenly matched, making it pretty hard for them to outthink or outsmart one another.
Boomstick: But who cares about brains when all you have to fight with are some teeth and claws compared to fist and a cannon.
Wiz: Then it came down to their rage modes. While Leatherhead's temper could give him the extra adrenaline and ferocity needed to keep up with Winston's Primal Rage, that was all it could basically do.
Boomstick: Yeah, because unlike Leatherhead's berserker rage, Winston Primal fury gave him an extra boost in strength and agility, allowing him to take down foes like Doomfist, who has the strength and power to level skyscrapers.
Wiz: The ultimate factor really came down to their weaponry, toughness, and ferociousness. In which Winston is all capable at.
Boomstick: Winston may be a mammal, but that last move was the definition of "Cold-blooded" and "Jaw Dropping"
Wiz: The Winner is Winston
