Background: Born with bad luck, Seth's kindness and joy was kicked out of him at a young age. Literally. Seth's parents drank, and beat him relentlessly. When Seth entered school, he was bullied from the first day onwards. After enduring endless abuse for a dozen years, Seth finally snapped after being bullied intensely by another student, attacking him outside of school and relentlessly beating the boy until he broke a total of twenty-three of his bully's bones. Seth's torment at school finally stopped, students now fearing him and shunning him. When Seth was fifteen, his parents were in a car accident which killed his mother and paralyzed his father, who, unable to cope with his grief at the death of his wife and his new paralysis, killed himself. Now, Seth lived alone, all of his tormentors finally gone. And so, Seth continued to attend high school until his junior year. On his seventeenth birthday, Seth was mugged and robbed by some thugs, who beat him badly and knocked him unconscious, before dumping his body in the crater at the center of the city. There, when Seth woke up, he found strange device near him. Curious, he picked it up. This device was the Mummy Alter, one of many strange devices which had begun appearing recently. Seth transformed for the first time, and decided to become a hero with the hopes that he would be popular.
