Edward Pearson vs Sketchy is a collab between GoCommitDi and TheVoidofDrawings, as well as an off-season What If? Death Battle, featuring Edward Pearson from Edward and Eric and Sketchy from Storinaries in a fight between two nerdy, optimistic and highly-intelligent OC protagonists that constantly get into trouble in their dysfunctional hometowns.

Edward and Eric vs Storinaries! These two live in worlds far too cartoony for their own good and despite being very knowledgeable on things like inventing, they're not the best at finding their way around life, especially when they cause way too much trouble on a daily basis. Today, however, it might come in handy...

Wiz: Edward Pearson, Lakeside City's intellectual teenage prodigy in a chaotic, run-down boarding school...
Boomstick: ...and Sketchy, Greenland's mischievous, multi-careered adventurer extraordinaire.
Wiz: With the large amount of original characters here and there, these two would have to be some of the most powerful.
Boomstick: They even have enough things in common; they live in weird worlds, they're smart, they have stupid friends...
Wiz: Actually, I wouldn't call Penink 'stupid'-
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz: Sigh... And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skill to find out who would win a DEATH BATTL-

Potty: Welcome to Lakeside, the sixth borough of New York that's located directly to the left of Manhattan. Wait, what?
Patchy: That sounds like something out of Hunter x Hunter. They have a Yorknew City after all.
Potty: Weeb.
Patchy: Shut it, or you're gonna be a drumstick!
Potty: Lakeside may look like a glorified Manhattan, but it's deeper than that, actually. I mean, its motto is "Great to visit, better to leave" for crying out loud! The rent is twice as expensive, there's crime everywhere, and it's home to the worst school in the country...Lakeside City School.
Patchy: (bursts out laughing) But...but that name is so generic!

Wiz: In a world where everyone and everything is something you'd see in a school, office or working facility, it would be very unlikely that the residents had abnormal amounts of Toon Force, let alone many sources of chaos worldwide from dimensions afar.
Boomstick: But this is a cartoon we're talking about, so the young VoidofDrawings decided "Eh, what the hell?" and went on to start writing the Storinaries-verse. It's technically if The Office had a baby with Regular Show, but still, that's one freaky place.
Wiz: What's even more ironic is that the location in Texas that the show takes place in, being Greenland, is based off Greenville, Texas. Wait, doesn't Greenland reside in Arkansas?
Boomstick: It's a cartoon, Wiz. Not everything is supposed to be 'scientifically accurate' in a kids show, ESPECIALLY when it's unofficial, centered around OCs and crafted entirely of stationery.
Wiz: ...Fair enough. Moving on, in the deepest rubble of the town lived an Australian, red-scarf-dawning pencil named Leddson Stubby 'Sketchy' Woodchip, better known as Sketchy.
"Greetings and good morrow to all!"
Boomstick: Sketchy was one optimistic fellow, trying to keep a happy face as he went through everyday life, which was... utterly chaotic for him. On a daily basis, he'd end up in crazy cartoon shenanigans that stem from the most simple things, like battling mutant sharks after going fishing, escaping prison after failing to pay his taxes, and racing literal Speed Demons while delivering mail across the entire city!
Wiz: However, he wasn't always like this, and used to be a sinister game host who forced contenstants through incredibly hard tasks involving lava, spikes, poisonous arrows and more, all for amusement!
Boomstick: Then he got his ass handed to him by that paperclip named Clip (worst name ever), who soon developed into worse of a person than Sketchy, who woke up in a magical forest and went on a quest that bettered him as a person... before going right back into that same town and causing even more trouble.
Wiz: He, occasionally alongside the rest of the main cast, has accomplished several great things-

- Void will be using Wiz and Boomstick as his hosts, whilst Commit does the classic Patchy and Potty.
- For the Showtime category, Void uses Chris McLean and Chef Hatchet from the Total Drama series.
- As part of Void and GoCommitDi's side bet, if Void updated his Izuku Midoriya vs Gumball Watterson thread on VS Battles Wiki, Commit would do the connections for this specific matchup.
- The track name would be called A Stationery Schooling, referencing how Edward is a school student and how Sketchy's world is based entirely off of, well, stationery.
