Description[]
Ninendo VS Sega VS Capcom VS Rare Ware VS Sony. These five iconic companies are here to throw down with their iconic mascot. Who will win? Who will die? Stay tuned!
Interlude[]
(*Cues: Invader - Jim Johnston*)
Wiz: Video Games are one of the greatest methods of entertainment.
Boomstick: While movies, comic books, and anime are nice, video games just give us that special feeling.
Wiz: And today, we're taking five mascots from five video game companies to do a dance to the death.
Boomstick: Like with Mario, the portly powerhouse plumber.
Wiz: Sonic, the blue superhuman speedster.
Boomstick: Mega Man, the Swiss army knife Robot Master.
Wiz: Banjo-Kazooie, the brave bird-bear duo.
Boomstick: And Crash Bandicoot, the warrior of the Whumpa Islands. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick. And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a death battle.
Mario[]
(*Cues: The Star Festival - Super Mario Galaxy*)
Wiz: Many years ago, there was a stork delivering children to their parents.
Boomstick: Seriously? The stork? Come on!
Wiz: It's called approving to children, Boomstick. Something you wouldn't understand.
Boomstick: Whatever. One of these storks was carrying a bag that contained two of the seven Star Children with his mouth.
Wiz: Although how those babies could breathe inside that bag is beyond me. But here's where things go bad.
Boomstick: See, the kids in that bag were Mario and Luigi and Kamek attacked the stork to try and grab those babies.
Wiz: However, Kamek only succeeded in grabbing Luigi. Mario ended up falling on Yoshi's island. The tribe of Yoshis surrounded Mario and realized that he was one of the Seven Star Children and that his brother went missing.
Boomstick: So Yoshi teamed up with Baby Mario to get back Luigi and stop Baby Bowser.
Wiz: And with the rescue of his brother, Mario dedicated his life to protecting the Mushroom Kingdom from the forces of evil.
(*Cues: Weapons Factory - Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars*)
Boomstick: And he's got the skills to do it.
Wiz: As one of the Seven Star Children, Mario has enhanced strength, speed, and endurance.
Boomstick: He's also got numerous moves to take on his opponents.
Wiz: his most notable being the Jump. With it, he jumps up and lands on an enemies' head.
Boomstick: With his Ground Pound, he slams down onto the ground using his butt.
Wiz: His Mario Tornado allows him to spin while sticking his arms out, dealing multiples strikes to an opponent.
Boomstick: Another one of his moves is the Super Jump Punch. Unlike Luigi's, which can send an enemy sky high, Mario's doesn't, but in exchange, he can rack up a lot of hits.
Wiz: But Mario has more than just physical abilities. He wields a Hammer than he can use to crush any foe.
Boomstick: Mario also has the ability to control fire.
Wiz: With his training from the Fire god, Mario gained a special technique called the Firebrand, which allows him to launch fireballs at an enemy.
Boomstick: But the real beauty's in the Mario Finale, a move where Mario's eyes lit up on fire and then he launches two fireballs at an enemy which later grow in size to decimate his enemies.
Wiz: Throughout his adventures, Mario has also gained a friend named Cappy which grants him other attacks.
Boomstick: He can throw Cappy like a boomerang, have him home onto enemies, or just throw him around in a circle, harming anyone who gets too close.
Wiz: But Cappy's most famous power is his ability to possess enemies. By throwing Cappy at an enemy's head, Mario can then go itno the foe and "capture" them.
(*Cues: Koopa's Road - Super Mario 64*)
Boomstick: Mario is strong enough to throw Bowser, who weighs 2,600 pounds, break bricks with his bare hands, and even once lifted up and kicked an entire castle!
Wiz: He's also incredibly durable, able to survive falling from space and other different heights. And he's even survived explosions without much damage.
Boomstick: And despite what you'd be led to believe, he's also pretty fast. He managed to defeat Koopa the Quick in a footrace.
Wiz: In said footrace, Koopa the Quick was wearing Mach 1 shoes, meaning he was moving at the speed of sound.
Boomstick: And if that weren't enough, Mario can even run up walls as a baby, which is pretty impressive if you ask me.
Wiz: He's also got incredible reaction timing as he's fast enough to dodge lasers and lightning with ease.
Boomstick: He's beaten Bowser, the King of the Koopas, several times, and he even managed to defeat Kamek too!
Wiz: But that's not to say he's invincible. Mario is pretty impulsive which makes him not much of a strategist.
Boomstick: Also, his Jump attack doesn't work on spiky enemies. If he tries to use the Jump on a spiked foe, he'll take damage. But even with his weaknesses, Mario is one plumber you don't wanna mess with because when facing him, your odds of victory are drained.
Mario: Here we go!
Sonic[]
(*Cues: We Can - Sonic Heroes*)
Wiz: Sonic the Hedgehog was born on the planet Mobius on Christmas Island.
Boomstick: But he later left that place to search for adventure.
Wiz: But before he could do that, he had to stop Dr. Robotnik from taking over the world.
Boomstick: Luckily, he had the skills to do it.
(*Cues: Fire Stone - Sonic the Fighters*)
Wiz: Sonic's most incredible asset in combat is his speed. With said speed, he can easily plow through any of Eggman's forces.
Boomstick: I though it was called Sonic Forces.
Wiz: Save your bad puns for the end. Anyways, Sonic has numerous techniques that utilize his speed to its fullest. One of which is the Spin Attack where he curls up into a ball to explode robots while running.
Boomstick: His Spin Dash is like a revved up version of the Spin Attack, not only dealing damage, but increasing speed as well.
Wiz: His Homing Attack involves jumping into the air and homing towards an opponent while curled up. And when that isn't enough, he can use the Focused Homing Attack to strike multiple targets in rapid succession.
Boomstick: But Sonic's got more than just quill attacks. His Sonic Boost is when he surrounds himself in a field of blue chaos energy to not only increase his speed, but bash through anything in his way.
Wiz: His Blue Tornado circles an opponent, throwing them up in the air, leaving them dizzy, and removing shields. And while it can't hurt airborne enemies, it can still leave them dizzy.
Boomstick: His Bound Jump is when he bounces on his quills to attack enemies and elevate himself.
Wiz: His Somersault Kick can stun enemies with a cyclone of wind.
(*Cues: Open Your Heart - Sonic Adventure*)
Boomstick: Sonic's speed is impressive! He's fast enough to beat Metal Sonic in a race, outspeed Chaos Control, and he can dodge lasers and missiles with no sweat.
Wiz: Sonic is also extremely durable. He's taken hits from the powerhouse Knuckles before and has gotten up from falling on his face NUMEROUS times without so much as pain or discomfort.
Boomstick: He's also tough enough to survive being inside an unstable, hyper go on black hole. To give you an idea how powerful it is, Eggman used it to power a machine that was tugging on planets!
Wiz: And while popular, Sonic has more than once demonstrated superhuman strength. He's strong enough to shatter robots with his bare hands, destroy mountains, battleships, and even asteroids with his quills, and his Sonic Boost is strong enough to bash through asteroids as well.
Boomstick: And Sonic is also an incredibly skilled fighter. He's defeated the likes of Ultimate Emerl and Master Zik, both of whom have far more combat experience than he does. He's beaten Knuckles in hand-to-hand combat and has battled other speedsters like Shadow and Metal Sonic.
Wiz: However, Sonic does have his limits. He's pretty cocky and arrogant in battle which has put him in a desparate situation more than once. He's also incapable of swimming and sinks like a stone, though he has ways around this.
Boomstick: Still, with his practically unmatched determination and skill, Sonic might just be too fast for even Sega to keep up with.
Erazor Djinn: Shahra! I know you're there! Please stop him! We can start over. The two of us! I swear! I swear it! The world is mine! I cannot be denied by that filthy rat! Whyyyyy?!
Sonic: I told you. I'm not a RAT! I'm a HEDGEHOG!
Mega Man[]
(*Cues: Dr. Wily Stage 1 - Mega Man 2*)
Wiz: The year of 200X was expanding in robotics thanks to two scientists: Dr. Thomas Light and Dr. Albert Wily.
Boomstick: These two genius scientists created Robot Masters, special humanoid robots designed to do things too hard for humans.
Wiz: The first six Robot Masters were: Cut Man, Guts Man, Ice Man, Bomb Man, Fire Man, and Elec Man.
Boomstick: Guts Man was meant to be a construction worker, Cut Man was to cut down trees, Ice Man had to do tasks in extreme climate conditions, Bomb Man was built for demolition, Fire Man was meant to work in an incinerator, and Elec Man was built to control the voltage in nuclear power plants.
Wiz: However, envious of Light's attention, Wily stole all the Robot Masters in an attempt to take over the world.
Boomstick: But he missed two, and boy did that bite him back.
Wiz: The two robots Wily didn't take were Roll and Rock, Dr. Light's surrogate son. Enraged at Wily's betrayal, Rock stepped up to try and stop Dr. Wily's plans. But to do such a feat would require him to be upgraded into..
Boomstick: THE MOST AWESOME SUPER FIGHTING ROBOT YOU'VE EVER KNOWN!!! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS MEGA MAN!!
(*Cues: Snake Man Stage - Mega Man 3*)
Wiz: With his new upgrade, Mega Man became stronger, faster, and tougher. His new armor is composed of Ceratanium, an alloy stronger and lighter than titanium, because at this rate, practically every fictional universe has one of those.
Boomstick: But with this upgrade comes an awesome weapon known as the Mega Buster. And it only makes sense to name yourself after something super awesome.
Wiz: This arm cannon can shoot powerful blasts of energy that can be used to destroy walls. And if need be, he can always charge it up to fire a Charge Shot to defeat any enemy he comes across.
Boomstick: And if that weren't enough, Mega Man can turn his other hand into a second Mega Buster and fire the Double Mega Buster for maximum destruction.
Wiz: He also has an attack called the Mega Upper, allowing him to uppercut his foes and is capable of sliding. But when that alone can't put down the bad guys, he resorts to his Variable Weapons System. With it, he can use any weapon he acquires from the defeats of rogue Robot Masters.
Boomstick: Like the Top Spin, where he spins around, doing damage to anyone who gets hit.
Wiz: Or the Spark Shock, where he releases a ball of electricity to short-circuit robots. His Flame Blast is a flame pillar that he can summon, and his Flame Sword is a close range melee version which can ignite flammable things.
Boomstick: His Slash Claw is a crescent beam of energy designed to destroy asteroids and his Air Shooter fires everal whirlwinds, making it a great weapon against aerial enemies.
Wiz: His Hard Knuckle is fired fist that can bring down walls and when that fails, he can always use the Crash Bomber's timed explosiveness to catch enemies off-guard.
Boomstick: He can deflect projectiles with the Mirror Buster and even fire the Black Hole Bomb, a powerful black hole that can suck in anything.
Wiz: Not exactly. A real black hole consumes all matter and only dissipates once all matter around it has been used up. But Mega Man's can be solidified, somehow.
(*Cues: Dr. Cossack Stage 2 - Mega Man 4*)
Boomstick: Mega Man is incredibly skilled. He's strong enough to hold up a castle so large that it was nearly the size of a mountain, about 60,000 tons.
Wiz: Mega Man is also extremely durable. Aside from the fact that Ceratanium is stronger than titanium, Mega Man's feat of catching the giant castle also functions as a durability feat as it was falling on him, meaning he can withstand 60,000 tons of pressure and he's able to survive the destruction of Wily's fortress even when affected by Evil Energy.
Boomstick: He's also fast. His teleporter can travel from Earth to Jupiter in a matter of seconds, he can defeat speedsters like Quick Man, and he can even dodge projectiles spanning over an entire asteroid belt, making him 250 times the speed of light.
Wiz: He's defeated numerous Robot Masters over the years and has battled far more advanced robots like King, Sunstar, and Ra Moon. But while he isn't one of Wily's creations, Mega Man has his downsides. He has extremely limited ammo. Should he use a certain weapon too much, it will run out.
Boomstick: Also, even though he short circuit robots with his Spark Shock, he can't actually attack when the foe is stunned!
Wiz: That's pretty clever of Wily. And while the Double Mega Buster is incredibly powerful, the amount of power it exerts can overheat and potentially kill him.
Boomstick: Still, even powerful, universe-conquering robots learn the hard way. You never mess with the super fighting robot known as Mega Man.
Mega Man: No King, You're wrong! Neither is better or more advanced!
Crash Bandicoot[]
(*Cues: Title Screen - Crash Bandicoot*)
Wiz: On the Whumpa Islands lives an evil doctor known as...
Boomstick: Dr. Eggman?
Wiz: No.
Boomstick: Dr. Wily?
Wiz: No.
Boomstick: Dr. Nefarious?
Wiz: Dr. Neo Cortex.
Boomstick: Oh.
Wiz: Anyways, Cortex and his associate Nitrus Brio went to the Whumpa Islands to experiment on animals.
Boomstick: Cortex and his associate planned to use a device called the Evolvo-Ray to mutate animals and have them under their control.
Wiz: But he was extremely eager to use despite N. Brio's warning, and like any foolish scientist, he went ahead and used it.
Boomstick: I don't see why that's so foolish. Sometimes you just gotta go in and figure out what happens.
Wiz: Well, it was a mistake on Cortex's end as it resulted in his greatest enemy, Crash Bandicoot.
(*Cues: That Sinking Feeling - Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex*)
Boomstick: Well, as a mutated bandicoot, Crash is extremely strong, incredibly tough, and pretty fast.
Wiz: He's capable of the Spin Attack. Unlike Sonic's Spin Attack, Crash's involves spinning his body like a tornado. By spinning like a tornado, Crash can harm enemies, glide over small distances, and deflect projectiles.
Boomstick: Crash can also do a belly flop on enemies or just bounce on their heads.
Wiz: And like Mega Man, he's also capable of sliding against enemies.
Boomstick: He also uses weapons like a bazooke known as the Fruit Bazooka that fires Whumpa Fruit. Surprisingly, it's pretty easy.
Wiz: Crash also wields a jetpack that he can use you fly over the battlefield.
(*Cues: Danger Zone - Crash of the Titans*)
Boomstick: Crash is incredibly skilled. He's strong enough to stun Titans with a single kick, incapacitate a mutated N. Brio, and thorw Cortex a huge distance.
Wiz: He's even tough enough to take hits from powerful Titans and get back up and fast enough to outrun a huge boulder.
Boomstick: He's defeated the likes of Neo Cortex and even powerful Titans. But he's got a few weaknesses.
Wiz: That's understandable considering Cortex's headstrongess.
Boomstick: He's not the strongest there is. Also, if he overuses the Spin Attack, he'll end up dizzy.
Wiz: But to be honest, even with his weaknesses, not even masters of time who create time paradoxes for fun stand a chance.
Crash Bandicoot: Hee-haw!
Banjo-Kazooie[]
(*Cues: Main Title - Banjo-Kazooie*)
Wiz: In the peaceful Spiral Mountain lives a bear named Banjo and a bird named Kazooie.
Boomstick: Banjo had a little sister named Tooty and they were gonna go on an adventure, but he was asleep.
Wiz: But as Tooty was waiting outside, she was stolen by the witch named Gruntilda.
Boomstick: See, Gruntilda was convinced by her magic stewing pot that she was the fairest in the land and I fdon't know what was inside him because she is anything but fair.
Wiz: But the stewing pot wasn't completely mad. He told Gruntilda that she was only second-fairest and she was second to Tooty, which is the reason why Grunty kidnapped her.
Boomstick: So after being taught some nifty moves by a mole, they set out to stop Gruntilda and get back Tooty.
(*Cues: Isle o' Hags - Banjo-Tooie*)
Wiz: That mole is named Bottles and he taught Banjo-Kazooie a number od techniques. Such as the Beak Buster where Banjo jumps up, flips, and Kazooie smashes whatever using her beak.
Boomstick: The Bill Drill is the same thing, but with a spinning element combined. But it's impractical to use.
Wiz: The Rat-a-tat Rap pecks enemies with Banjo ducking and her Feathery Flap can lift Banjo into the air.
Boomstick: Banjo has a move called the Pack Whack where he hits foes with his backpack.
Wiz: He also has a move called Snooze Pack which lets him regenerate health by sleeping in his bag, though that shouldn't be possible.
Boomstick: Kazooie also knows the technique called the Ancient ways of the Egg, allowing her to fire eggs out of her mouth to hurt enemies.
Wiz: Banjo can also grab Kazooie and fire eggs out of here like a rifle. She has all sorts of eggs ranging from: fiery, electric, freezing, and explosive kinds as well.
Boomstick: Banjo can also use Kazooie as a bayonet when wielding her.
(*Cues: Boss Battle - Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge*)
Wiz: Banjo and Kazooie are an incredibly skilled duo despite their species. Banjo is fast enough to dodge a fireball from Gruntilda and tough enough to withstand that much heat.
Boomstick: Kazooie's beak is strong enough to shatter a huge boulder, ice, and even knock back Gruntilda.
Wiz: However, Both Banjo and Kazooie do have weaknesses. They're both only better off when they're together, making individuality a key weakness.
Boomstick: Also, Kazooie is pretty mouthy for her own good and can turn would-be allies into enemies. But even then, when these two set their minds to something, not even giant fat witches can take them down.
(*Banjo-Kazooie recover a Jiggy*)
Pre-Death Battle[]
Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all!
Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Death Battle[]
(*Cues: Shooting Star - Mega Man Star Force*)
Mega Man was in Spiral Mountain. He was certain that a certain evil was in this city and was searching around until he was accosted by an amazing speed. Mega Man fired a pellet from his Buster and stopped the blue speed known as Sonic. He then turned around.
Mega Man: Got ya, evildoer.
Sonic: Evil doer? Don't think you can tell, but I'm like the opposite of that. What makes you think I'm evil?
Mega Man: Your speed. No natural creature can have that kind of speed. You must be a Robot Master made by Dr. Wily.
Sonic: Not only am I the opposite of evil, I'm nowhere near robotic.
Suddenly, a Warp Pipe appeared and Mario emerged from it. A Portal appeared and Crash Bandicoot emerged from it. Mario: Who are you?
Mega Man: My name is Mega Man, and I'm here to eradicate this blue evil.
Mario: I knew you were evil!
Sonic: I'm not evil. And how are you even back?
Suddenly, Banjo and Kazooie came out of their house.
Kazooie: What's going on?
Mega Man: I'm here to fight a great evil.
Kazooie: Clearly, that great evil is silence. The only one good at that is the hairy twig.
Crash was enraged at that comment and was ready to destroy them. Sonic, Mario, and Mega Man all got ready to fight.
Fight!
(*Cues: Find You - Max Anarchy*)
Sonic ran towards Mega Man and punched him in the face and then kicked him far away. Crash ran towards Banjo and slide kicked him. Banjo grabbed him and punched him into Mario, causing both to fall. Mario got up and grabbed Crash and threw him high up, almost into space, but got out his jetpack and started flying down. Crash flew down and grabbed him and threw him on top of Mega Man.
Mega Man threw him off and shot a Crash Bomber behind his back. Mario ran to get Sonic and proceeded to Capture him, but the Crash Bomber exploded, launching Mario onto the floor and causing him to throw his hat to the floor.
Mario: He might be troublesome. I'll deal with him first.
Mario ran to get his hat and proceeded to throw a fireball at Mega Man, but nothing happened. Mega Man fired a Hard Knuckle, but Mario grabbed it and threw it back at Mega Man, but he used the Mirror Buster and reflected it, hitting Mario in the face. Sonic ran towards Banjo and punched him in the stomach three times. Banjo grabbed his bag to use the Pack Whack, but he dodged and kicked Banjo in the leg.
Crash started flying around the battlefield and started firing Whumpa Fruit at everyone.
(*Cues: Rash's Theme - Killer Instinct 2013*)
Mega Man looked up and saw Crash up. He launched attacks from his Mega Buster, but he dodged all of themand fired another Whumpa Fruit. Mario sought this oppurtunity and hit Mega Man with his hammer. Crash kept firing some more and hit Sonic's head numerous times.
Mario jumped into the air and fired a fireball at Crash's jetpack, causing it to blow up a bit, forcing Crash onto the ground, but he stopped his descent with the Spin Attack.
Mega Man fired the Hard Knuckle at Crash, but he deflected it and it hit Sonic, giving Banjo a chance to punch him to the floor. Mega Man fired another Hard Knuckle and Crash deflected it again. Mega Man fired a few more Hard Knuckles and Crash kept deflecting them until he got dizzy. Mega Man charged up his Buster and fired at Crash, destroying him into pieces.
(*Cues: Marvel vs Capcom 3 Fate of Two Worlds - Marvel vs Capcom 3*)
Mega Man fired blasts of energy at Mario with his Buster, hitting him but having no apparent effect. Mario ran towards Mega Man and started delivering a brutal combo on Mega Man, but he used the Mega Upper to break away and tried scaring him away using his Slash Claw and then used the Crash Bomber on him, but Mario hit it with his hammer.
Mario then hit Mega Man with his hammer, causing the Crash Bomber to explode, knocking back the Blue Bomber into a tree.
Mega Man fired from the Mega Buster, but Mario dodged all of them and ran towards him, but Mega Man activated the Black Hole Bomb which started sucking Mario in. Mega Man fired the Charge Shot and blasted Mario in. The Black Hole Bomb started hurting Mario. It dissipated. Mario threw his cap at Mega Man, but he cut it in two with the Slash Claw. Mario ran towards Mega Man, but he used the Mega Upper to hit him up.
Mega Man fired another Black Hole Bomb, but Mario ran as fast as he could. Mega Man fired the Spark Shock, completely stunning him. Mario was harmed by the Black Hole Bomb and as it dissipated, he fell to the floor, completely incapacitated in his nerves. The Blue Bomber walked towards him. As Mario started to regain himself, he got back up, only to be decapitated by the Slash Claw.
(*Cues: Polygon Man Phase 3 - Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale*)
Kazooie started firing fire eggs at Sonic, but he dodged all of them with almost no effort. Sonic fired a Somersault Kick, stunning Banjo. He Boosted towards the honey bear and bashed into him. As Banjo started to regain his senses against Sonic, he started running and started doing the Forward Roll. Sonic anticipated his attack and kicked him into a tree, causing the tree to snap.
Sonic then ran towards the location of the bird-bear duo only to find Kazooie pointed at him.
Kazooie: Checkmate, ya furbrained rat!
Sonic: I'm not a rat. I'm a hedgehog!
Kazooie started firing grenade eggs at Sonic, but he braced for impact. The eggs exploded, causing a dust cloud. Sonic was nowhere to be seen.
Kazooie: Ha! I bet he ran away like a coward.
Banjo felt uncertain, worried that his opponent could pop up at any time at any location. Sonic fired a Somersault Kick from behind Banjo, hitting Kazooie and stunning her. Sonic then kicked her so hard the Banjo's backpack came right off. Sonic then used the Focused Homing Attack to attack both Banjo and Kazooie. Sonic then ran near Kazooie and started using the Bound Jump on her multiple times.
Banjo ran to stop Sega's speedy mascot, but he stopped and started charging up a Spin Dash on Kazooie, harming her. Sonic then released himself. The force of Sonic releasing himself snapped Kazooie's neck, killing her. Banjo tried to block, but it was too late. Sonic had Spin Dashed so hard that Banjo was sent flying until he started breaking multiple trees. But it wasn't over for Rare's bear.
Sonic sped to Banjo and kicked him so hard that he ended up flying to a branch that implaed him in the chest. But Banjo flew so hard that it ended up tearing his chest apart. Sonic then ran towards Mega Man, confronting him.
(*Cues: Final Destination - Super Smash Bros. For Wii U*)
Sonic and Mega Man exchanged glares. Sonic then Boosted towards him and bashed him into a tree. Mega Man fired the Hard Knuckle at Sonic, but he was able to dodge every single one of them. Sonic fired a Somersault Kick, but Mega Man dodged it and fired the Black Hole Bomb to lure in Sonic, but he ran away from it and jumped to kick him, but he started to get sucked in.
Mega Man fired the Spark Shock which hit Sonic, paralyzing him. Mega Man prepared to use the Double Mega Buster, but Snic started to wiggle around. Mega Man decided to fire the Double Mega Buster, but Sonic regained himself, dodged the blast, ran towards Mega Man, started deilvering a brutal combo to the Blue Bomber, and kicked him into his own Double Mega Buster, exploding him into mutiple pieces which scattered around the world.
K.O!
Post-Death Battle[]
(*Cues: Solaris Phase 2 - Sonic the Hedgehog 2006*)
Boomstick: Well, that sure wasn't as kid-friendly as I thought it would be.
Wiz: All five mascots were incredibly powerful, but only one of them was capable of survivng this.
Boomstick: While it would be debatable as to who would be left standing, it was pretty obvious that Crash was the first to die.
Wiz: Crash didn't hold many advantages of his opponents besides mobility thanks to his jetpack, but not only is he not smart enough to use it to its fullest, but Sonic and Mega Man have tornado attacks to confuse Crash or attack him.
Boomstick: And while Crash's Spin Attack can deflect physical projectiles, there's no evidence to suggest that it can deflect energy attacks or fire or even shockwaves.
Wiz: And while Crash has battled people who create time paradoxes for fun, there's no evidence to suggest that N. Tropy's time powers are consistent with his physical abilities and stats.
Boomstick: And his Fruit Bazooka wasn't really a good weapon against most of his enemies.
Wiz: But Banjo-kazooie didn't stand a chance against either of their combatants whatsoever due to Mario's strength, Sonic's speed, and Mega Man's versatility.
Boomstick: And even if we included Banjo and Kazooie's other abilities, they'd only delay the inevitable. But why did Mario lose against Mega Man?
Wiz: Well, here's why. When it comes to strength, this is rather debatable. Both mascots can hold castles, but here's the trick. Mega Man was struggling, Mario wasn't. But the castle Mega an lifted up was much wider and thus, was heavier.
Boomstick: But Mega Man did have other advantages to save him. Like his speed.
Wiz: Mario may be fast enough to beat Koopa the Quick in a race, who was wearing Mach 1 shoes, which made him move at 765 miles per hour, but Mega Man had defeated Quick Man, who moves at the speed of lightning, which is about 220,000 miles per hour.
Boomstick: That's 287 times faster than Mario. And that's not even his fastest! And Mega Man's victories over the likes of Flame Man proves he take on and even counter Mario's pyrokinetic abilities.
Wiz: Plus, Mega Man had enough versatility to adapt as the fight went on, unlike Mario's limited options.
Boomstick: But Wizard, the Spark Shock only works on robots. It can't affect organic creatures!
Wiz: Actually, it can. The way the Spark Shock works is by short circuiting the robot's wires. This can also work on organic creatures due to the electric pulses in our nervous system.
Boomstick: But unfortunately, Mega Man couldn't defeat Sonic as he had already taken too much damage from two different angles.
Wiz: Mega Man may be fast enough to dodge meteors going around an entire asteroid belt, but Sonic is fat enough to defeat Metal Sonic in a race.
Boomstick: Metal Sonic is fast enough to do interplanetary travel in a damaged state, but there's no telling how wide the distance was sinc Little Planet is a fictional planet.
Wiz: However, the Sonic universe has shown to be consistent with the real world's size of the universe. So if we compare Little Planet's distance from Earth with Mars' distance from Earth, this means Metal Sonic flew about 225 million kilometers.
Boomstick: The average asteroid belt is about 150 million kilometers thick, but the distance that Metal Sonic traveled is definitely longer.
Wiz: To span 150 million kilometers would require moving at 250 times the speed of light. By dividing 225 by 150, we get 1.5. Multiplying this by 250, we get 375, meaning that Metal Sonic flew at 375 times the speed of light.
Boomstick: And Sonic was able to defeat him in a race. Aside from speed, Sonic also had the experience advantage due to having more adventures and the Mega Buster was nothing new to Sonic.
Wiz: And while Mega Man has battled speedsters before, they aren't as fast or as skilled as Sonic.
Boomstick: Looks like Sonic mas-caught the victory.
Wiz: The winner is Sonic the Hedgehog.
