Two creepy and crawly looking hunters come out from the shadows to battle against each other. Which is better, the reptilian ninja, or the tech savvy hunter? Find out in this Death Battle!

Intro[]

Skel: When you think of a monster that lurks in the jungle and blends with the trees, there will be lots of ugly ones.

Skunk: None of these represent these better than the two we have here today.

Skel: Reptile, Mortal Kombat's Green Ninja!

Skunk: And The Predator, Honored Hunter with tech weapons.

Skel: He's Skunk and I'm Skel!

Skunk: And it's our job to research their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win, a Death Battle!

Reptile Slimes His Foes In Death Battle![]

Skel: It's time for some more Mortal Kombat!

Skunk: No, we can't have a copyright strike!

Skel: Fine, but it would have been epic...

Skunk: Sure, whatever, anyways, Mortal Kombat is the competition that decides if a realm can merge their own with the one they wish to do so with.

Skel: Yeah, and they do this by having their greatest fighters go up against the greatest fighters of that realm, and Outworld had to win 10 in a row to get the rights to take Earth-realm.

Skunk: They had 9 wins in a row, and they were on the verge of winning, until Raiden, the elder god, had chosen the perfect fighters.

Skel: And Shao Kahn's fighters were the best, but they still failed awfully, Baraka, Goro, Kintaro, Shang Tsung, and Reptile, the focus of this episode!

Skunk: Reptile was on of Kahn's many minions who were picked to help win the tournament, he was sure he would win.

Skel: But as luck be have it, he didn't, all thanks to Raiden's great choice of fighters, a monk, an army sergeant, and a holly wood actor.

Skunk: This lead Kahn to attempting to invade the realm, but that went poorly, as Raiden and the other Elder Gods stopped him, and thus, Mileena took the throne of Outworld, until it was taken away after she got betrayed by Ermac, D'Vorah, and Reptile, all of which thought she wasn't deserving, and they got Kotal Kahn on the throne.

Skel: And so Reptile served the new leader, and he was one of the best body guards, protecting Kotal at all costs.

Skunk: He did so with some very unique skills of his own.

Skel: He is able to spit out acid to his foes, in a projectile or a stream, able to make acid puddles that can dissolve people quickly.

Skunk: He can go invisible and create slime balls, which can propel people into the air as they make impact, as well as being able to buff his own speed and decrease other people's speed.

Skel: He can make toxic clouds to deal damage over time, has a very stretchy tongue that can extend several meters long, and like all Mortal Kombat characters, he has enhanced physical strength and durability.

Skunk: Reptile's abilities have been shown to not only be effective at a range, but also up close, as he can face strong foes, such as Sub-Zero and Johnny Cage.

Skel: He can also spray his acid to make a shield able to block bullets from gun fire, which is neat. He can do crazy things, which mostly relate to this powers.

Reptile's Feats[]

Skunk: He is able to evade point-blank gun fire, use his tongue to pull a person's head off with ease, as well as eat it instantly upon ripping it off, and even face against others with fair ease, including Liu Kang, without using his powers.

Skel: His tongue can also lift a person up with total ease, his tongue...

Skunk: Not only that, his pure body mass can cause a person's legs to explode upon him sliding into them, and he can even eat a person's whole torso at once.

Skel: Ok, this dude is more powerful than we give him credit for, he can even uppercut a person so hard their whole upper body separates in half from their legs.

Skunk: Reptile has proven to be one of the best of his race, being one of the very few survivors, his feats of strength and power have proven this time and time again. Unfortunately for him, he still isn't perfect.

Reptile's Flaws[]

Skel: He can go invisible, but obviously, invisible people don't always have the power to block mind reading, so he can still be found out by a telepathic foe.

Skunk: And while certainly deadly and strong, he has been beaten countless times by people less experienced in combat.

Skel: I mean, I still don't want to fight him to find out if I could beat him, he is just more impressive than we let him on to be.

The Predator Starts The Hunt In Death Battle![]

Skel: Alright, we got a prime badass hunter in this episode!

Skunk: Don't get excited, we will get to his information shortly, we have to talk about their history first.

Skel: Fine...

Skunk: Ok, so, The Predator is one of the most dangerous hunters ever born, it was made to fight, trained hard, only the strongest survive, they will fight those who threaten them.

Skel: They are super tall, super tough, and super, super deadly. Each one has their own gear and gadgets, and-

Skunk: Again, we talk about that in a little bit!

Skel: You're no fun...

Skunk: What else is new you have said? Anyways, various ones have gone to earth, searching for worthy game to hunt.

Skel: And by "Worthy" we mean highly trained military people with guns, and also, Arnold, one of the best actors ever.

Skunk: Yeah, yeah, he was great in the movie.

Arnold: You're one ugly motherfucker...

Skel: I love that line...

Skunk: Anyways, The Predator was killed in the end, and in the 2nd movie, and 3rd, and so on...

Skel: Heck, they get killed by humans a lot.

Skunk: Because of plot reasons, because of plot reasons...

Skel: Yeah, their awesome gadgets should wreck everyone!

Skunk: Ok, now we can talk about their arsenal, such as their wrist blades, allowing them to slice people and even steel, they can be retracted from their wrist mounted device, that also houses their cloaking and self-destruct setting.

Skel: He has a ton of destructive weapons, like mines, his plasma caster, a throwing disc, a spear, and more! His bio mask lets him see in infrared and other visions, and helps him breath in other worlds.

Skunk: His mask also can take bullets and scan people to imitate their voices, as well as help target people by locking onto them.

Skel: Not only does he have lots of destructive potential, he also has ways to protect and heal himself, like his medical kit, in case he gets hurt. He can recharge his gear with electricity. He also has a really painful net he can shoot, that slowly tightens, and likely will cut anyone inside it up.

Skunk: It uses it's melee weapons on those who aren't much of a threat, but if they have guns, he uses his more advanced equipment.

Skel: But it isn't like he needs to, he is strong, tough and smart!

The Predator's Feats[]

Made a jelly that healed his wounds out of some bathroom wall
Can jump several meters high
Took out a whole team of men who were specifically equipped to deal with him
Can dodge gun fire
Took a shotgun to the face point blank
Kicked military trucks over
Easily throws aliens around
Can rip people's heads off, while their spines are still attached
Took missiles from a helicopter, and was barely phased or hurt
Was fine after being struck by lightning

Skunk: He has been able to rip people's heads off, with their spines too, which would require slightly over 100 tons of force.

Skel: He also can kick really hard, being able to topple a military truck over and throw aliens like they are towels at a pool party.

Skunk: He not only can dish out damage, he can really take a lot, he has took a shotgun right in the face and shrugged it off, and was hit by multiple missiles with barely any damage.

Skel: Did we mention he took a lightning strike and was fine? No? Well he took a lightning strike and was fine after. He also has took out teams of mean who were meant to have a massive advantage over him, and even dodged gunfire.

Skunk: Ok, we will say this, we aren't talking about the same Predator, as each one in each movie pretty much died, but they all are comparable, but that also means they all have the same weaknesses.

The Predator's Flaws[]

Code of honor may hold them back
- They refrain from using their more advanced equipment in a fight, and want to fight fairly
- Will hesitate to attack sick people, though if provoked, it will do so
- Won't kill someone with a baby
Their plasma casters use up energy, and may need recharging/refilling if used too much
Damage to their equipment will result in them not working
Their cloaking won't work if they are in a body of water or get splashed by it
- Even if they stand in a puddle, their cloak will reveal them
Their cloaking doesn't make them truly invisible

Skel: Yeah, they have this code of honor that makes them not want to fight people with their tech if they are unarmed, and if someone isn't well or has a baby, they will ignore them.

Skunk: Also, their tech can still fail on them, as they require energy to use their plasma casters, their cloaks don't fully make them invisible, and also, if they have some water touch them while cloaked, they will be revealed, even the slightest water will cause this.

Skel: So to be honest, you'd best hope you're either really sick, or really lucky to be considered not a threat to this guy, because if not, your head will be a trophy in his ship.

The Predator is shown ripping a person's spine and skull out.

Intermission[]

Skunk: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Skel: It's time for a Death Battle!

Fight[]

Location: Outworld

The Outworld market place is shown, people around it. A few tarkatan are shown wandering, looking for any threats to stop. A strange noise is heard, and they turn, but nothing is there. They turn back around, and see a hulking figure, The Predator. They quickly attempt to slash him, but he uses his wrist blades to cut their arm blades. He then picks them both up, and snaps their necks with his thumbs. He drops them like a sack of bricks, and rips their spines out.

???: You there, stranger!

The Predator turns, and sees Reptile stood.

Reptile: You will come with me to Kotal Kahn, now!

The Predator scans Reptile, but can't get a very clear reading. He turns, as he thinks nothing of this unarmed lizard. He gets shoved and slashes on his back, causing him to turn, and see Reptile has cut him, having blood in his claws.

Reptile: I won't tell you again, come, now!

The Predator roars angrily, and makes his wrist blades come out. Both stare each other down.

Fight!

Reptile lunges, but is backhanded away into a crate. The Predator takes his spear out, and walks over. Reptile comes out, and dashes forward. Predator then swings his spear, Reptile hitting it, trying to stop it hitting himself, but after 2 blocks, he gets staggered by a kick to his gut, and then gets his jaw slammed into by Predator's shoulder. An X-Ray is shown, Reptile gets some teeth knocked out, and his jaw cracked slightly. Before Reptile can go too far into the air, he is caught by the leg, and slammed into the ground, again, an X-Ray shows his ribs now getting fractured. Predator walks back, putting his spear away, letting his foe get up.

Reptile: This won't be easy... I like food that fights...

Reptile grabs a person and tosses them, but Predator catches them and tosses them down. Predator then lunges far, and attempts to stab Reptile, but is evaded, sticking his blades into the ground. Predator turns his head, and is met with an acid spit to his chest, but his armour blocks it. Predator then grabs Reptile's hand, and twists it. An X-Ray shows Reptile's wrist snapping. Predator then picks up Reptile, and slams his back into his knee, breaking Reptile's back, and Reptile is thrown away. Predator then walks to his foe, but they go invisible. Predator scans the area, but cannot find Reptile. Suddenly, he is cut on his sides, rapidly getting various marks.

Reptile: You cannot best me!

Predator turns on a different mode for his vision, and can see Reptile's heart beat, it is very fast. Predator takes out his throwing disc, and tosses it behind himself, catching Reptile off guard, cutting his cheek. Reptile becomes visible. The blade comes back, cutting Reptile's side too. Predator leaps forth, and beats on Reptile. Reptile is quick to retaliate, and spray acid all over his foe, making Predator scream out. Reptile then rapidly slashes at Predator's chest, lots of green glowing blood spraying out all over Reptile. Reptile finishes his combo off with a kick to Predator's chest, his ribs cracking and puncturing his organs.

Reptile: I won't lose to you!

Reptile then goes behind Predator, and while his foe is dazed, he grabs a metal pipe. Reptile swings it between Predator's legs, and a crushing sound is heard, making Predator scream again. Reptile leaps on Predator's back, and slashes at their throat wildly. Predator is able to toss Reptile off, into metal beams. Predator takes out his plasma caster, and fires at Reptile, who gets hit in the shoulder, some of his flesh coming off. Predator shoots more, hitting Reptile's side and leg. Reptile then goes invisible again, and this time slides under Predator, tripping them. Reptile turns his foe over, and wildly slashes his mask, and breaks half of it.

Reptile: Any last words.

Predator then types on his wrist device.

Predator: You're one ugly motherfucker.

Reptile then gets impaled by Predator's spear, as it shows Predator is holding it between his and Reptile's gut, impaling them both. Reptile screams out, but Predator punches Reptile's face, knocking teeth out, and causing massive bleeding. He makes the spear close, and he shoves Reptile off himself.

Reptile: I...

Before Reptile finishes his words, he gets his spine grabbed, and slowly pulled out. Predator roars in victory, as he then takes his mask off, and looks down at his dead foe.

Predator: Shit happens.

Predator proceeds to walk off, and the screen cuts to him placing Reptile's skull in his collection of skulls.

K.O!

Conclusion[]

Skel: Something tells me this fight was very obvious.

Skunk: It was semi-obvious. Reptile and The Predator both were very worthy foes, being the best warriors in their clans and race, but Predator's far superior weaponry and strength just outdid Reptile too much for the green lizard to handle.

Skel: Reptile was able to take pain, his hip shattering, and getting massive beatings, but Predator could quickly wear that durability down, his plasma caster could blast limbs off with ease, his blades could gut Reptile like a fish, and he could just rip out Reptile's spine and head.

Skunk: Reptile's invisibility wasn't too useful, as Predator had multiple modes for his scanning, so there was no way for Reptile to escape. And let's not forget, The Predator has fought foes very similar to Reptile, Xenomorphs could spit acid and crawl around on walls, they have killed humans with ease and even bested certain predators, but that isn't to say they could best all of them, in fact, they needed multiple to fight one.

Skel: So Predator has dealt with stuff that Reptile can do before, meaning he had experience with that type of enemy, so Reptile had little he could use that would surprise The Predator, apart from maybe being able to use martial arts and being a skilled hand-to-hand fighter, but Predators have proven to be great warriors as well, meaning Predator was either equal, or superior to Reptile in every way.

Skunk: In the very end, Reptile couldn't compete with his foe's gadgets, strength and better training.

Skel: Yep, like victims against these two, Reptile didn't see this coming.

Skunk: The winner is The Predator.
