Carl: What defines power? What makes a man powerful? Is it massive amounts of wealth, or an unfathomable transformation into an unstoppable monster?

Yazo: We may never know that answer to that philosophical predicament, but these two certainly got both! A fancy corporation, powers that make them very monster-like, and they're wearing DRIP! That's gotta be another thing that defines power, right?

Carl: No, it's really not.

Yazo: Oh. Kazuya Mishima, the Iron Fist of Darkness from Tekken.

Carl: And Albert Wesker, the Umbrella Researcher and holder of the Uroboros Virus from Resident Evil.

Yazo: He's Carl and I'm Yazo!

Carl: And it's our job to analyze their armor, weapons, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!

Kazuya Mishima will make this your burial ground in Death Battle![]

Carl: If you had asked Kazuya Mishima what his childhood was like, he'd probably tell you that it sucked. And then deck you in the face.

Yazo: Yeah, we've seen our fair share of shitty childhoods here on Death Battle, but this guy might be making the top ten. Born to Kazumi Mishima and Heihachi Mishima, who's essentially the Tekken version of Elon Musk, and raised on their ancestral estate, Kazuya was born to the Mishima Clan and was taught the Mishima Style Fighting Karate by his loving mother. Things were great... until they weren't.

Carl: First, his grandfather vanished without a trace and his mother was killed by his father. Yes, that is what I would call the start of a bad childhood. When Kazuya learned of his mother's death, he immediately went to confront his father, but Heihachi was much more of a capable than the five year old Kazuya. Heihachi, claiming that his son was weak and to see if he could survive, threw Kazuya off of a high cliff.

Yazo: Yeah, the Mishima's have a very traditional way of removing people they didn't want. Including family members! But Heihachi didn't pitch a five year old off of a cliff just because he thought his son was weak, he did it because he feared that Kazuya had the same 'illness' that his mother had.

Carl: But this hypothetical illness was no illness. At least, it wasn't your standard illness. Rather, it was a supernatural genetic abnormality found in people belonging to the Hachijo Clan or at least having ancestry from it. Before she married Heihachi, Kazumi was part of the Hachijo Clan, and thus had the genetic abnormality.

Yazo: It's assumed that this gene creates a sort of parasite/host relationship. The host? The person infected. The parasite? A malignant spirit known as a devil. Thus, this gene was soon named the Devil Gene.

Carl: As Kazuya fell from the cliff, his Devil Gene awakened from the near-death experience. As Yazo said, the Devil Gene literally allows someone to host an immaterial being known as a Devil. In fact, early game manuals literally described it as "making a pact with the Devil." With the new power that the Devil Gene gave Kazuya, he climbed back up the cliff, filled with anger and hatred, which was exacerbated by the Devil Gene.

Yazo: But despite this, Heihachi actually took Kazuya under his wing and raised the kid, although abusing him in the process, which, uh, is not how you should raise a child, in case it wasn't obvious. During his childhood, he fought in many tournaments and unofficial fights while continuing to train under Heihachi, along with his adoptive brother.

Carl: But then Heihachi announced his King of Iron Fist Tournament, which Kazuya participated in for two reasons. One, he wanted revenge on his father for the years he put him through. Two, Kazuya seeked his father's vast fortune to achieve world domination.

Yazo: And he actually won it. Once he did, he threw his father off of the same damn cliff that he threw him off of so many years ago. And then he took over his old man's company and became CEO. Although this change of leadership didn't change much. All it really did was change Heihachi to Kazuya, as Kazuya was exactly as cruel and ruthless of a CEO as Heihachi was.

Carl: Committing various crimes and even seizing control of Japan's northernmost and second-largest island, Hokkaido, with plans to build an independent nation there with its own military. After his dreams of world domination were well on their way, he decided to show his martial artist superiority by holding another Iron Fist Tournament.

Yazo: Y'know, the exact same thing that did his dad in? You think this guy would've thought this through. After meeting a "mysterious" woman who "approached without fear," Jun Kazama and having a kid with her, Kazuya easily made his way through the tournament to the final round. But once he did, he found, dun dun dun! Heihachi, completely fine after being thrown a cliff.

Carl: Struggling to control the Devil Gene, partially because of Jun and an entity named Angel, he lost to Heihachi and was thrown off of a cliff, but this time into a volcano. These people have a strange fascination with this one particular method of execution. Weird, especially considering it never fucking works.

Yazo: Yup! Against all odds, Kazuya's remains were found by G Corporation, a bio-technology company. After an unspecified amount of time, the G Corporation restored Kazuya back to life and agreeing with Kazuya for him to be a test subject for them. Kazuya learned from his mistakes. If he was going to take his revenge once more, he was going to have to gain full control over the Devil Gene.

Carl: Hehachi learned of the G Corporation and Kazuya's found remains, and sent two different group of soldiers to seize the G Corporation's two laboratories, with one in Nepal, and the other in Nebraska. That is when Kazuya revealed himself and took out the squadron at the Nebraska lab. Now aware of his son's revival once more, he set up another Iron Fist Tournament to lure him in, along with Jin Mishima, Kazuya's fully adult son.

Yazo: Despite knowing it was a trap, Kazuya entered anyways. But when he was due to fight his son, Jin was kidnapped by Heihachi. Instead, the two met for the first time after Kazuya lost to Heihachi once more and took him to Heihachi's prison in Hon-Maru. But when he did meet Jin, it turns out that his son had absorbed part of Kazuya's Devil, becoming possessed by the part that Kazuya still had.

Carl: Kazuya's devil absorbed the rest of itself from Jin, but Kazuya fought back against his devil side. After a long fight, Kazuya managed to defeat and silence his devil side, essentially merging with it and finally gaining full control over it. But despite this new control, he was still defeated by Jin, who also defeated Heihachi and then escaped.

Yazo: The prison they were at was suddenly attacked by JACK robots. For once, father and son worked together... until Kazuya threw Heihachi into the robots and fled the building as they all detonated. Father and son bonding! ...Kinda? Not really... but it's about the closest thing that the two ever had to father and son bonding.

Carl: Somehow, this explosion awoke Jinpachi Mishima, Kazuya's grandfather, who had starved to death. But now, he's just... back? Granted, he's possessed by a vengeful spirit, but that shouldn't have brought Jinpachi back to life, right?

Yazo: We can move past it. We're experts when it comes to vengeful spirits possessing people, right?

Yazo gestures off to the side, pointing at a few broken animatronics from a certain indie game.

Carl: Don't. The last thing we need is for Afton to come back. Again. Anyways, with his last shred of humanity, Jinpachi set up yet another tournament. The reason why was so Jinpachi could find a fighter strong enough to defeat the spirit and lay him to rest. But rather than attending it properly, Kazuya spent the runtime of the tournament searching for who could've sent the JACK robots after him and Heihachi.

Yazo: Turns out, G Corporation betrayed him. Which Kazuya responded to by murdering the executives and took his place as their new CEO. Meanwhile, Jin won the tournament and took over as the CEO of their family company. And then Jin declared World War 3 for the hell of it, before revealing that he wanted to destroy the Devil Gene.

Carl: In response, Kazuya militarized the G Corporation and declared war against Jin. Kazuya followed Jin to the Middle East, but retreated back to Japan after meeting half-brother, Lars Alexandersson, in order to re-gather his power in Japan. That ended up being a good choice, as Jin went missing, but Heihachi returned and took over the Mishima Zaibatsu once more.

Yazo: The war continued between the two corporations. After a war through online media, Kazuya and Heihachi fought against each other on a volcano for a final battle. And ol' Tekken Elon Musk was in for quite a fight.

Carl: Indeed, especially that Kazuya's fighting style is Mishima Style Fighting Karate, which was inspired by real world Goju-Ryu Karate, also known as "hard-soft style-"

Yazo: Heh.

Carl: -This karate's aim was to "build character, conquer human misery, and find spiritual freedom," it relies on what the same suggests, a combination of hard and soft techniques, Kazuya also mixes in Shotokan Karate, which is similar, but it focuses more on long stances to provide stability, powerful movements, and strengthening of the legs. While it can be a bit on the slower side, it more than makes up for it in power.

Yazo: And Kazuya definitely does it justice with his shit ton of moves. Seriously, the number of moves this guy has is greater than how many times he and his family members have been tossed off cliffs! From his infamous Wind God Fist and its electric counterpart, the Dragon Uppercut, the Flash Punch Combo, Lightning Screw Uppercut, Mishima Style 10 Hit Combo, and those are just some of the highlights!

Carl: And his Devil Transformation gives him access to new abilities, such as his laser and wings, which do what you'd imagine them to do. Not to mention that he has two different Devil Transformations, his normal and True Devil form, which is much stronger than his base form. And he can increase his strength even further with Chi, which is the spiritual energy of a person weaponized.

Yazo: And this strength was needed to fight Heihachi in the two's final battle, which wasn't easy on either of them, as both were pushed to the brink of their limits during their duel.

Carl: Kazuya can, just like we just said, fight evenly with Heihachi, who can wipe entire squadrons of JACK units. A singular JACK unit could blow apart a massive meteor that was calc'd at 900 Megatons, which is Mountain level, roughly.

Yazo: 900 Megatons? The Tsar Bomba only had around 50-60 Megatons! So what you're telling me is that meteor was 15 times more powerful than the Tsar Bomba?

Carl: Well, the force to destroy it, but yeah. Kazuya is also comparable to characters like Raven, who could pick up and toss the 80 ton NANCY-MI847J, a big ass robot... thing. And he could do a lot more impressive shit, like fight evenly with Shin Akuma, albeit in his True Devil Form, survived a volcanic eruption, and was even implied to have survived his battle with Akuma.

Yazo: But he's not all strength. He's also pretty damn fast! Scaling to his pops once more means that Kazuya can dodge lasers from characters like himself, which apparently move at nearly 20% the speed of light! That's Mach 176145! The fastest known jets have only ever reached a speed of Mach 6!

Carl: And he's not just impressive in the physical department. Kazuya is also pretty smart. He's an expert on martial arts and brilliant war strategist. But this also leads to his greatest weakness.

Yazo: He's pretty arrogant and thinks that he's stronger than everyone else. Sure, it's sorta justified, but it's led to his ass getting kicked on more than one occasion. Along with that, he's weak to holy powers and while he's pretty much mastered it, there are still times where he can struggle to control the Devil Gene properly.

Carl: Despite these downsides, Kazuya fought his father in one last battle. After a long and treacherous duel, Kazuya overcame his father with his own sweat and blood, sentencing his father to the fate he believed Heihachi deserved. Thrown into the volcano.

Yazo: But let's be real, Heihachi's gonna come back in the next game. But when he does, he better pick a god and pray, since Kazuya will not rest until this familial conflict comes to an end.

"Conflict, rebellion... It's the fate of our blood."

Seven minutes is all Albert Wesker can spare to play with Death Battle![]

Note: Albert Wesker will be composited for this battle, being allowed Marvel vs. Capcom and Dead By Daylight for both feats and arsenal.

Carl: Nearly nothing on the backstory of Albert Wesker is known. Even his real name is completely unknown. The only thing we know for certain is that Albert is incredibly smart and that he was taken from his parents at a young age by Dr. Oswell E. Spencer, raised by the Spencer Foundation. He was part of a eugenics project, that seeked to create several like-minded intellectuals for experimentation.

Yazo: What kind of experimentation? Illegal experimentation, of course!

Carl: Uh... I'm pretty sure human experimentation is illegal just by proxy.

Yazo: That didn't stop you from experimenting on me.

Carl: That's because you're not biologically a human anymore.

Yazo: WHAT!?

Carl: We're getting off-topic, the reason they wanted to create super-geniuses was to infect them all with the Progenitor Virus, or at least, a stabilized variant of it, to create superhumans, an ancient virus that was discovered in the late 1960s. Albert was raised to share Dr. Oswell E. Spencer's values, granting Albert a disdain for war and pestilence, believing that humans were "evolutionary dead-ends in need of order," and, most importantly, the need of order.

Yazo: Y'know, like deliverance and rebirth or something like that. This is starting to sound oddly religious.

Carl: Albert stood out among the other subjects, who were raised similarly to himself, for his ambition and eventually went into the field of study known only as biotechnology.

Yazo: Out of everyone who ran through the test, only two people were seen as not massive failures. Dr. William Birkin and Albert, obviously, with both being a perfect combination of those values we were talking about. Once the school closed down due to... scandals... *ahem* Albert and William were transferred to be senior researchers for the company.

Carl: This was done as a secret reward for something that the two did for the company. Steal a sample of Dr. James Marcus' completed t-Virus strain, which they got after earning the man's trust. With his involvement to the t-Virus, Albert got to work, eventually engineering a... zombie!? What!? They were splicing genes from Ebola, how the hell they'd get zombies from that?

Yazo: I think it's better to now question it. Albert took it a step further, creating and developing B.O.W.s, which are essentially big ol' zombies with sub-human intelligence. But then came the damn Tyrant Project. It started as these lil' brain worm parasite things, but eventually led to the most iconic and terrifying being in all of survival horror video games... Nemesis-T Type.

Carl: You're getting ahead of yourself, it did originate from a brain worm. But while testing it, they accidentally gave birth to another virus. After some... interesting decisions to fund this from Dr. Spencer, Albert decided to turn tail and get outta there, applying for the US Military by 1991 as an engineering officer.

Yazo: He got into a lot of wacky shit in the military, like entering a sexual relationship, and having a child, and who could forget when he [REDACTED] for the government! Once he decided his army career was over, he was reassigned by Umbrella to head to good ol' Raccoon City to be part of the Special Tactics and Rescue Service. But you can just call it S.T.A.R.S.

Carl: Being... essentially a private army for Umbrella, it had them dealing with domestic terrorism. Albert eventually rose through the ranks to be the captain of the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team. But then came a slew of escaped mutants-

Yazo: After all of this exposition, we're finally at the first game! Freedom!

Carl: Not quite.

Yazo: Damn it.

Carl: Albert received direct orders from Umbrella to sacrifice the entire S.T.A.R.S. team to escaped mutants to not only provide combat training for them and also remove potential witnesses that could expose them. He was also tasked with removing all evidence that could link back to Umbrella being the ones who created the mutants.

Yazo: Although after he barely escaped an entire lab detonating in his face, he got a feeling that Umbrella wasn't exactly worth sticking with. Then he proceeded to join Umbrella's rival company. What's it called? Hell if I know!

Carl: Wesker immediately agreed to their offer of employment if he could get them an embryo of samples from the lab that was destroyed instead of handing them over to Umbrella, which he did dutifully. Soon, he joined the rival company, although he was still leading S.T.A.R.S.

Yazo: In the evening of one July 24th, Wesker led his squad into the mountains, and was given a strain of the mutant t-Virus, or the Prototype Virus, by his best bro, Birkin. And this virus... well it was the shit. Like, the good shit.

Carl: The Prototype Virus gives Wesker superhuman qualities with enhanced strength, speed, durability, and a healing factor on top of all of it. But even without it, he's still impressive with the hand-to-hand combat, weapons, and similar techniques he has. His primary weapon is the Samurai Edge, a customized Beretta 92F that were originally made back in 1998. Several people have used handguns called Samurai Edge, but Wesker had a specific model that he made himself.

Yazo: Yup! He replaced the lower frame and takedown lever with stainless steel, in addition to a skeleton hammer (which is majorly cosmetic, but does slightly lower the weight of the gun) and Brigadier sights. It also features an integrated Vertec style accessory rail at the bottom of the frame, as well as a beavertail horn for combat. TL;DR: The Samurai Edge is a heavily modifiied Beretta 92F, a semi-automatic pistol.

Carl: He has a combat knife, mixed herbs to heal himself, a semi-auto rifle, another handgun, a Killer7 (a semi-automatic Magnum with a scope), hand grenades, flash grenades, incendiary grenades, first aid spray to heal himself, along with a series of hand-to-hand techniques.

Yazo: From the Thrust Punch to the Tiger Uppercut and the Knee Cannon, you'd struggle to fight Albert in a hand-to-hand fight unless you were just as trained as he was. But we ain't done with guns just yet! He's also got the H&K P8, which is another handgun, the S&W M500, which is an extremely powerful magnum, and proximity mines. There's more, but, uh, we'll get to that in a bit.

Carl: He manipulated one of the S.T.A.R.S. member by threatening his family in order to have him help Albert with the destruction of incriminating evidence. As S.T.A.R.S. discovered one of their own members deceased in the mountains, they were attacked by a pack of Cerberus-

Yazo: Which are basically zombie dogs.

Carl: -And forced to retreat into a mansion for the sake of survival. Albert separated them into groups and began preparations to awake an experiment within the mansion, which was in-fact, the Spencer Mansion, where many of the experiments were conducted. And what Albert awakened was the Tyrant, specifically T-002.

Yazo: He tried to use the zombie guy to kill the rest of S.T.A.R.S. but fell a bit short of doing that. Mostly because he was found out by S.T.A.R.S. as a traitor and T-002 turned on him, stabbing the guy, and then was killed by Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, and the remaining S.T.A.R.S. with a rocket launcher. But because of the Prototype Virus, Albert lived.

Carl: Having faked his death, Albert avoided the public eye, overseeing a covert mission to steal a virus from his old friend, Birkin. After replacing an liaison, who suffered from a moderate case of... *ahem* ending one's life by their own hand, Albert received the virus from Ada Wong. Albert sent out a raid towards Rockfort Island in order to recover data and bioweapon samples from Umbrella. But what he didn't anticipate that bombing the military training center ended up released a t-Virus strain into the ecosystem, along with several B.O.W.s.

Yazo: He continued searching for a very specific sample, one of t-Veronica, but they came up empty, but what he did find was the sister of Chris Redfield, one of the people responsible for his "death," that being Clair Redfield, being held captive by Umbrella. Wesker tried to kill her, but then Chris arrived. Albert tried to kill them both, but they managed to escape. Albert left, learning that Umbrella had another base in Antarctica, and that the creator of the strain known as t-Veronica was alive there.

Carl: Albert found the base in ruins, although he manage to enter through a submarine. He found the creator of the strain, a woman named Alexia Ashford. But she refused and mutated herself, which Albert was not prepared for and was forced to flee. He encounter Chris and Clair once more and took Clair hostage, but let her go after a promise that he could fight Chris.

Yazo: Although Albert kicked the shit out of Chris, Chris got the better of him by dropping metal girders on him and fleeing. Albert had to retreat, since the lab was about to self-destruct, so he hopped into his submarine, made like a tree, and got the fuck outta there. Although he got the last laugh, as he had managed to locate a sample of t-Veronica.

Carl: Now in possession of the sample, Albert manufactured several B.O.W.s, which were clones of the ones that Umbrella had made. As Umbrella slowly collapsed, Albert made tons of money by selling these bioweapons to anyone who was willing to pay for them. He was even making deals with drug lords, like Javier Hidalgo.

Yazo: However, this ended being a bit of a mistake. Hidalgo snapped over his daughter running away, y'know, just acidentally releasing a zombie army and several B.O.W.s, which all began destroying nearby communities. Although Wesker was content to just sit back and watch as the drug lord was killed by the government's anti-Umbrella task force. Yeah, that's how much these freaking zombies and B.O.W.s were popping up.

Carl: Albert soon became aware of a bunch of unusual stuff that made him suspect they were the work of a bioweapon. Turns out that Umbrella had a secret Russian base. Albert went there to try and find a supercomputer known as U.M.F.-013. During his search, he encountered Chris and Jill once more, but he was too busy to kill them, deciding to just leave and head towards the base.

Yazo: He arrived at the base and had to kill his way in, fighting through biohazards and bodyguards to get in. Col. Vladimir, the person who created the computer, tried to stop him by mutating himself, but Wesker still sweeped the guy in a fight and made it to the computer, downloading every bit of data on it.

Carl: He provided the government with bits of incriminating data towards Umbrella, which was the final nail in the coffin towards Umbrella's bankruptcy, and leading the US and Russia to track down Dr. Spencer. Following this elimination of his competition, Albert became aware of another parasite known as Plaga, being used by a cult, learned through Ada Wong. Albert Wesker sent Jack Krauser, a retired soldier, to go steal a sample of it, but Krauser only managed to steal a single strain, which he kept for himself.

Yazo: After Krauser failed, Albert got Ada to do it, which she managed to do, stealing a dominant strain of the Plaga from the Organization while he took a recessive one off of Krauser's corpse, being killed by Leon S. Kennedy and finished off by Ada. He set up a trade ring of B.O.W.s with another company known as TRICELL, who's executive was a business partner of Albert, with some help from Ricardo Irving.

Carl: But Albert's newfound partnership with Irving got him a one-on-one meeting with Dr. Spncer himself, who was a weak old man on the verge of death, on the Spencer Estate. The doctor told Albert about the Wesker Project, finally putting a close on his internal conflicts he'd been having since his time with Umbrella. But after learning this, Albert saw no more use for the old man, killing him with one hand.

Yazo: Before he could even relish his kill, he was interrupted by Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine once more, who were trying to arrest Dr. Spencer. Albert fought the two, eventually tumbling out of a window with Valentine, plunging into the Atlantic Ocean and surviving, although Jill did fall unconscious.

Carl: He looked back on his revelation of his identity, along with his run-ins with resistance. And just like that, the Uroboros Project began. It was a project that wanted to create a virus that would rid the world of organizations such as the BSAA and mutate those with certain genetic characteristics into superhuman beings. Valentine would be kept alive in cold sleep as one of the thousand of kidnapped subjects, but she proved to be different from others, as she had antibodies to the t-Virus in her system, making her a poor test subject. Rather than just killing her, Albert had her injected on the regular to make her serve unwillingly as an agent of Wesker.

Yazo: Did ya catch that about Uroboros Virus? Mutate those with certain genetic characteristics into superhuman beings? Sound familiar? I hope so. Wesker injected himself with a bit of Uroboros. It made him even stronger and faster, along with giving him a freaky tentacle that sprouts from his arm. And, eventually, it turned him into what can only be known as Uroboros Wesker, a larger version of himself with tentacles, an exposed heart, and crystals sticking out of his body... for some reason.

Carl: He gained superhuman senses, a greater healing factor, and the ability to assimilate other living tissues with Uroboros, infecting them with the disease. When it came to the end of the line, Albert fought Chris Redfield one last time, the reason why he took the virus into himself, just to kill Chris. And Wesker was far from an easy foe.

Carl: Through Marvel vs Capcom, he's comparable to the likes of Zangief, who could create an explosion on Earth that was big enough to be visible from outer space, not to mention that Wesker could take hits from and defeat Zangief in combat. Wesker himself was capable of lifting and redirecting a missile with little-to-no effort in Marvel vs Capcom.

Yazo: He could dodge point-blank shots from a sniper rifle, move so fast that he appears to be teleporting, casually dodge bullets on the regular, clear hundreds of feet in less than a second, catch rockets that are fired at him, outrun mine and grenade explosions, and can outpace regular humans just by walking. Dude's fast.

Carl: And his intelligence is no joke. He's a brilliant mastermind and bioterrorist who's deceptive, cunning, and knowledgeable, with the capabilities of faking his death, created several B.O.W.s, and, in an alternate ending, even managed to convert most of Marvel's heroes into zombies to take over the world with. Granted, the heroes were weakened and Albert would require preparation to pull something like that off.

Yazo: But he's not exactly perfect, as much as he'd like you to think otherwise. For one, he needs a constant dose of the serum to keep his superhuman strength. Two, he's arrogant to the point of a god complex. The guy would give Sonic.EXE a run for his money. And finally, Uroboros Wesker has a big ass weak point right on his chest.

Carl: Because of these weaknesses, in the fight of his life, Albert finally succumbed to the onslaught, fallen at the hands of Chris Redfield, left to burn inside of a volcano. But even with his death, Albert's legacy remains forever strong for the strains he spread and the fear he inspired. Far from a poor performance indeed.

"Soon the sun will set on the age of men."

Death Battle[]

Within the confines of Millennium Tower, near the very top, the sounds of footsteps echoed throughout an empty room. Albert Wesker walked through the halls of the tower, with a briefcase in hand, occasionally glancing out of the window and to the city below. He continued walking, until he eventually came to a stop. He glanced behind himself, before adjusting his sunglasses and then turning around, staring down the man who stood several feet away from him.

Kazuya Mishima stood there with his arms crossed, glaring at Albert with mild annoyance in his eyes. The two men stared at each other silently, Albert taking a few steps towards him. After several seconds of tense silence, Albert cleared his throat, before looking up towards Kazuya and speaking with a stern voice.

"Kazuya Mishima. For what reason have you summoned me?" Albert asked as he adjusted his grip on the briefcase he carried. Kazuya let out a brief exhale as he uncrossed his arms, taking another step towards Albert.

"Don't play coy with me, Wesker. I know you stole weaponry from my company. You tried to scam me." Kazuya said harshly, pointing a finger towards Albert, who just chuckled in response.

"And it was remarkably easy." Albert replies, hefting the briefcase as his free hands travels to his pocket. Kazuya growled in response before suddenly charging towards Albert at an incredibly quick speed as Wesker drew his modified Samurai Edge, pointing it towards Kazuya as the man charged him down.

FIGHT![]

Kazuya threw a punch towards Albert, but the scientist rolled out of the way and avoided it, before easily getting back onto his feet and aiming the gun at him, before pulling the trigger. Kazuya swiped his hand and backhanded the bullet out of the air, before rushing forward and kicking forward, striking Albert right in the stomach, nearly smashing through the glass of the tower. Kazuya rushed towards Albert again, briefly transforming into a demon to fly at Albert, grabbing the man and smashing through the glass. Soaring into the air, Kazuya suddenly spun in the air before tossing Albert upwards.

Kazuya charged up a laser and fired it towards Albert, but the scientist swerved mid-air and managed to avoid it, before throwing a grenade at Kazuya, which exploded before Kazuya could strike it away. Albert landed on Kazuya and knee-striked the man, throwing him back into the building, albeit on a lower floor, before landing on it himself. Kazuya quickly got back up and tried to round-house kick Albert, but the scientist ducked under it and fired his Samurai Edge into Kazuya's chest, throwing the man backwards and leaving a hole.

Kazuya rolled backwards away from Albert, before firing another laser from his forehead, but Albert ducked under it and pulled out a semi-auto rifle and open fire on Kazuya, who blocked the bullets with a kick that deflected them back at Albert, hitting the rifle out of his hands. Kazuya rushed forward and threw a powerful punch at Albert, striking him right in the stomach. Majority of the glass on the building shattered as Albert was thrown back out of the building, before vanishing.

Kazuya stepped to the edge of the broken window and peered around for Albert, only to be suddenly striked in the back of the head by an arm thrust from Albert, who had teleported behind Kazuya. Kazuya stumbled out of the window, only to catch himself with one hand. Albert pulled out his knife and tried to stab at Kazuya's knuckles, but Kazuya had other ideas, using his laser to shoot Albert away, shooting a hole right through Albert's head and throwing off his sunglasses, before clambering back onto the building.

"It's time for you to meet your end!" Kazuya yelled towards Albert, who chuckled as he rose back to his feet, the hole in his head healing as he puts another pair of sunglasses on.

"Your feeble attempts only delay the inevitable." Albert said as he set his briefcase down, before throwing his knife and drawing his Samurai Edge once more, firing several bullets at the charging martial artist. Kazuya didn't stop as the knife and bullets sunk into his flesh, quickly healing, as he rushed towards Albert, swiping his hand to disarm the scientist of his pistol, before throwing another straight punch at Albert. He fires a laser to shoot across the ground and create an explosion that throws Albert into the air.

"Don't get cocky!" Kazuya shouts before flying up and using both hands to spike Albert back towards the ground, before performing an axe kick to drop on Albert, creating an explosion that sends both of them down several floors. Eventually, Albert punched Kauzya off of him after being sent down several floors. The two roll away from each other and get back onto their feet. Albert's briefcase falls from a hole in the ceiling, prompting the scientist to run towards it. Kazuya tried to cut him off, but Albert jumped up and avoided his punch, hopping off of Kazuya's fist and leaping into the air, grabbing the briefcase out of the air and landing back down on the ground.

Kazuya spun around, before Albert pulled out another handgun from his pocket, specifically the Killer7, and firing it at Kazuya, causing Kazuya to stumble backwards as a result of the bullet bouncing off of his head. He shook it off before dodging several more bullets, before tried to chop at Albert, before the scientist struck him with the briefcase, before throwing a flash grenade forward. It exploded, briefly blinding Kazuya. Albert proceeded to perform the Chikyo Chagi, lifting his leg up to try and crush Kazuya's skull, but the man caught his leg, before throwing Albert over his shoulder and into the ground behind him, nearly causing Albert to lose grip on the briefcase.

Albert swung his leg and broke out of Kazuya's grip, flipping back onto his feet, before delivering a kick straight to Kazuya's stomach. Kazuya recovered quickly and threw a punch at Albert, but it only caused his head to turn and his sunglasses to fly off. Albert immediately grabbed Kazuya by his neck and slammed him into the ground.

"Let's finish this." Albert stated as he put a new pair of sunglasses on his face, before raising his foot and stomping on Kazuya's head, briefly stunning the man. Albert turned towards the briefcase and walked over, opening it up to reveal a syringe labelled "Uroboros" that Albert retrieved from it. Albert chuckled before stabbing the syringe into his neck. A black tentacle came from his arm, which immediately moved into and through the ground, towards Kazuya.

The martial artist began to get back up as multiple tentacles arose from the ground around him, trying to stab into him. Kazuya swung his leg and chopped one of the tentacles, before smashing another one into the ground. The rest of them were taken out by Kazuya doing a spin and firing his laser, slicing all of them off. Kazuya glanced towards Wesker, but he had changed. Albert had transformed into Uroboros Wesker. Kazuya crossed his arms as he stared down the transformed Wesker.

"You've become barely human."

"No, I've become a GOD!"

Wesker rushed towards Kazuya and threw a punch with one of newly formed infected hands, throwing the martial artist backwards and all of the way through a wall, until he ended up falling outside of the building. Kazuya summoned his demon wings and began to fly upwards, only for Wesker to smash through the wall in front of Kazuya and grab onto him, attempting to reach Kazuya's wings. But when Kazuya went to smack his hand away, the Uroboros infected scientist moved to throw Kazuya all the way back down to the Earth, smashing into a large crater.

Wesker fell straight down, intending to slam into Kazuya, but right before he could, the martial artist suddenly flashed in a red aura, before rolling out of the way. Albert looked to the side to see True Devil Kazuya. The devil threw a punch, hitting the infected scientist right in the orange core on his chest, throwing Wesker backwards and through the base of the building. Albert quickly got back up and the two charged at each other, before throwing a punch that collided with each other. The shockwave of the punch shook the building and caused it to slowly collapse. Wesker stumbled backwards as a result of the shockwave, but Kazuya didn't.

The devil rushed forward and grabbed Albert by his neck, before raising him up and flapping his wings, causing the two to soar into the sky, smashing Wesker through several pieces of debris in the process. Kazuya kept flying upwards until the two eventually broke free of the planet's atmosphere and went straight into orbit. Kazuya let go of Wesker, before flying around him until he was facing the planet.

"Wh-what!?" Albert said in an almost panicked tone, glancing around wildly, as Kazuya simply sneered in response, charging up his laser.

"It's time for you to meet your end!" Kazuya yelled before firing his laser directly into the orange spot on Wesker's chest, beginning to send the scientist back down to the ground. Wesker began to move faster and faster towards the ground, catching fire like a meteor as he re-entered Earth's atmosphere. At an incomprehensible speed, Wesker surged to the ground until-

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

Wesker collided with the ground, creating an explosion large enough to be seen from orbit. Wesker laid within a several mile wide crater, barely clinging to life. His body slowly began to heal from the explosion wounds and the gaping hole in his chest. Just as Wesker began to regain his vision, he could see something coming from the sky after him. He quickly realized what it was, but his body was too in pain to move properly. There was no running away.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

A second explosion was caused as Kazuya came down all the way from orbit and delivered a punch that nearly shook the entire Earth, making the several mile wide crater even wider. He'd landed right on Wesker's head, crushing it while obliterating the man's entire body. Kazuya returned to his regular form as he stood back up, turning around and beginning to walk away. He eventually stopped and glanced back to where Wesker used to be, seeing nothing but a smoldering pile of broken sunglasses.

"Fools like you are always getting in the way, although you did have some talent." Kazuya said before weakly chuckling to himself, holding his shoulder as he turned away and continued walking off.

Results[]

Yazo: This just in, owner of the Organization, Albert Wesker, just got fucking nuked by the owner of the G Corporation, Kazuya Mishima, in a business disagreement. More at eleven.

Carl: This was an interesting match to analyze. When allowing Wesker to use abilities and feats from Dead By Daylight and Marvel vs Capcom actually made this battle a lot closer than it would've been otherwise. With Marvel vs Capcom, Wesker held a power and durability advantage over Kazuya, a quite considerable one, actually. And perks from Dead By Daylight gave Albert quite the hax advantage, allowing Wesker to apply negative status conditions such as Hemorrhage and Mangled to Kazuya.

Yazo: But that wasn't gonna save him from the other advantages that Kazuya held. While Wesker may have been more powerful, Kazuya was by far more physically stronger. Wesker could lift and throw around a missile, but Kazuya could scale to characters who could pick up 80 ton mechs and throw them over their shoulders. Not to mention that Kazuya had a lot more combat experience and would've destroyed Albert in a hand-to-hand fight. While Wesker had physical fighting experience, it was nothing on Kazuya's.

Carl: But Wesker wasn't totally outclassed. He did do better at long range and had the means to get away from Kazuya with his multiple handguns and grenades that could create distance between the two. Not to mention that Wesker could heal himself, was smarter than Kazuya, and could easily win by infecting Kazuya with Oroboros, which would've killed him.

Yazo: The only problem? Kazuya was much faster. Wesker being able to dodge a sniper round is impressive, but Kazuya could fire and dodge lasers. Sure, Albert had perks that could increase his speed over time, but it was never going to be enough to close the massive gap between them. And it's not like Kazuya's an idiot, he would probably figure that he shouldn't let the virus get into his body. And once Wesker infected himself, he'd definitely figure out about the weak point and exploit the hell outta it.

Carl: While the battle would drag on for a long time and Wesker could theoretically win, Kazuya was too strong, too fast, and too skilled for the scientist to defeat.

Yazo: Kazuya's Tekken names and kickin' Wesker ass! And he's all outta names.

Carl: Your puns are getting worse. The winner is Kazuya Mishima.
