Madeline the Hedgehog is a anthropomorphic mobian hedgehog who is an orphan raised under the care in a town called Crystal Town after her uncle abandons her on the citizen doorstep near her house when she was a infant. After turning 14 years old and getting close on turning 15 In a few weeks, Madeline receives a sword called the Crystal Sword which she uses it throughout her adventures. Madeline is usually seen in the company of Ricky, her own pet stretchy hero chao companion and best friend who goes on adventures in the world with her, stood by her side since they first encounter each other. However, Madeline plans to become the ultimate hero by defending her world to fight off evil forces and be like the hero in the statue.
During her adventures on Infinite Island, Madeline eventually formed a strong bond with the Interceptors and joined them as their secret wild card in their ongoing battles against the Gator Crews and Goblin Tribes and help out where needed. After Madeline regain most of her memories, she left Infinite Island on a small boat after defeating the Wolf Pirates and the enemies on the Island but Madeline stated that she will comeback to Infinite Island one day to visit or live there as her new home.
Madeline is a cheerful, brave, selfless and compassion individual, going to the path of freedom to protect the good innocents from evil and vicious creatures. However, she can sometimes be naïve and immature. Despite her determination to become the ultimate hero, she will try and do whatever it takes to protect the world and her friends from evil forces by putting her life on the line to test her adversaries using her set of skills and signature weapon on her adventures.
Appearance[]
Madeline is a anthropomorphic hedgehog with blonde hair that grown past her shoulders, blue eyes, peach skin on her muzzle, arms and body. She has a small black nose. She has ten short head quills point downwards on her back side and four bangs locks of hair on her forehead and a short tail.
For attire, she wears a blue denim jacket over a orange shirt and wears black jeans with a brown belt on it and has a gold belt buckle in the middle hidden under the shirt. She also wears blue and white fingerless gloves, brown winter boots with gray soles as well and wears a lime green bear beanie on her head which is her pet companion name Ricky who acts as a hat. However, when he is not on her head, his actual form is a medium size bear chao.
Whenever she goes on adventures, she always carries her brown backpack that hold some materials in it and hold her Crystal Sword in place on her back which is a sheath behind it.
For her second attire. Madeline wears a brown midriff-baring tube top, a skirt and comes completely barefoot. She also wears a blue scarf around her neck and retains her brown winter boots during the White Savannah Mountain incident.
For her third attire, her outfit resembles more of a Greek mythology attire. She wears a white sleeveless dress and skirt with a detachable brown belt, a arm cuff on her left arm and comes completely barefoot.
For the beach and swimming, she wears a blue tank top and skirt.
For her pajamas attire, she wears a light blue flannel nightgown with long sleeves.
For training and sparring matches, she wears a white karate gi uniform with a blue belt around her torso and remain completely barefoot.
During the post apocalyptic in the Forbidden Lands, Madeline wears a blue shirt with white battle armor with green shoulder straps, sports a short brown scarf around her neck and black jeans with a brown belt on it and a silver star-shape belt buckle in the middle hidden under the shirt. She also wears brown elbow and kneepads. She also wears brown fingerless gloves, white sports tape wrapped around in the middle of her feet despite not wearing her winter boots due to her normal clothes was completely torn and destroyed during the ambush.
After being push in the mutation pool by Havoc the Crocodile, Madeline was transformed into a monkey who is covered with blonde fur that covers her legs, arms and half her body and has prehensile tail and feet.
After being bit by a unstable mutation wolf, Madeline was transformed into a Beastwolf form which increased the muscular density and weight in her body which cause her to grow slightly larger. She has a longer muzzle, larger hands, her fingernails becomes sharp claws and her teeth becomes sharp fangs.
For attire, Madeline loses her fingerless gloves and boots exposing her entire feet which has a blonde fur all over the upper surface in each of her feet. Half of her clothing was torn apart upon transformation.
Personality[]
As young as she seems to be, Madeline is a cheerful, brave, selfless and kind individual who most often speaks with a British accent. Due to her lack of skills and moves, She frequently receives cruel opinions and bad insults from almost to others she meets in her path which that doesn't bother her anymore. Her aspirations is to become a great hero by willing to bear that type of responsibility even if it means putting smiles on peoples' faces despite her kind personality.
Madeline appears to have developed a slightly normal sarcastic nature as she tries to defend herself from other people and doesn't get annoyed by there insults at times. However, she can become a bit irritated at times when others deeply insults or harm her friends or innocents and will not hesitate to confront them in any way.
Base on her determination to be a great hero, she is very excited for new adventures and waiting for something awaits her when she travels which described her as a adventure-loving hero. Due to her love for adventures, Madeline loves travelling around in nature along with her shapeshifting friend Ricky the Chao, which they are usually seen together throughout their adventures, and mostly campout together at night and enjoy looking at the stars.
Base on her character and likeness, Madeline enjoys plush animals which she has two plush toys in her room. She likes to play video games, play volleyball, play basketball, kart racing, playing hop scotch and campout. Despite all the activities Madeline enjoys, she has a deep fondness with marshmallows as one of her favorite snacks and enjoys eating them.
Madeline has a good strong sense of justice and believes that everyone deserves to be protected and she is willing to help any innocents where needed by bad creatures such as, Goblins, Vampires, and Monsters. She sometimes holds her enemies accountable for their misdeeds and wrongdoings, regardless if she decided to forgive them or not.
She sometimes can be stupid and foolish at times for not coming up with a strategy to defeat strong foes and becomes a bit upset when she is unable to help others. Madeline can be very stubborn at times for not taking the easy way out of difficult situations she is in basically almost getting herself or somebody else killed due to her recklessness, but she will always try harder to be much useful towards others and fully understand that she will learn from her mistakes.
Madeline is a loveable person who cares deeply about her friends who is always there for them, treating her friends as the most important person in her life by telling others not to leave her friends behind on any particular disaster they are in. She has a very compassionate side who always looks out for her friends and always accept help from them showing very great trust in them dearly. She has a hard time facing tough opponents sometimes by herself and she also realizes she has friends to back her up in troubling situations and believes strongly in teamwork. Madeline is fully committed to helping out anyone in need at anytime, even if it means getting herself into trouble or being despised by others.
Madeline is shown to have three weaknesses. She has chiroptophobia, a fear of bats because of their teeth fearing she will get turn into a vampire. Other weaknesses that Madeline has is she is allergic to coconuts and it will cause her skin to have a rash in her entire body making her itch entirely. Another weakness that Madeline basically have is being tickled. She is extremely ticklish on her abdomen, legs, under her arms and feet even when others or one of her enemies tried to restrained her to make her talk.
During her time on Infinite island from amnesia she suffered, this personality of Madeline has more of a tenacious hunting skills by hunting for boars or food on the island showing that she has much survival skills in the wilderness such as making shelters, cooking meats and swinging through trees vines.
Madeline enjoys wonderful things in life around the Island such as swinging in vines, going swimming and do some training to improve her skills. Madeline possesses a truly kind and compassionate personality in her state in mind. For example, she shed some tears around her companion Ricky by hugging him when he is almost getting close to near death by the poisonous spider venom expressing her feelings towards him and cares very much about him as a true friend.
During her battle with the Spider King, Madeline was also known to be willing to rescue her enemies life's. For example of this, when Spider King was about to witness his demise in the lave pit deep in the cave, Madeline shout his name twice and about to rescue him from falling in the pool of lava. This proves that, like most heroes do, she is one of the few heroes to spare her enemies mistakenly.
Despite the fact of being a hero or adventurer, Madeline begins to utilize primitive weapons she has access to and is much capable of wielding staffs, axes, halberd, slingshot, spears and broadswords and has been using them on one of her battles on infinite Island. This type of demeaner shows that Madeline has a fierce and savage features by willing to defeat every monster or villain she encounters by attempting to making her opponents fear her.
Powers & Abilities[]
Despite not having any type of superpowers and all, Madeline is armed with her sword she wields called the Crystal Sword at all times on her backpack. She is very good at using her sword skills which makes her an aggressive fighter. However her sword is not meant to cut through strong metal but it can also make loud sounds by slamming her sword against any metal which will cause a sonic sound attack. Her sword can also reflect fire balls and ice blast. Even without her sword, She can used hand to hand combat skills to defend herself.
Madeline also has an ax which she made after being stranded on an island along with Rickey. However, It can do more damage to others and reflect bullets, but the ax can be destroyed easily with a strong force. She can also used it to take down any prey during battle. Madeline also has an arsenal of additional weapons available which include a slingshot and bow & arrow.
Despite being stranded on infinite island, Madeline has extreme sharp wilderness survival skills in various areas, such as creating shelters, fires, cooking meats and swing through trees vines. She is also capable of facing off leopards, hyenas, baboons, snakes, crocodiles, jackals, and goblins making her have great acrobatic skills of being capable of dodging incoming attacks and do wall jumps.
Madeline may do acrobatic skills, but she is also a great swimmer who can pull off undersea traversing.
- Crystal Sword: After obtaining the Crystal Sword as her signature weapon, Madeline was skilled enough to used the Crystal Sword and demonstrably skilled in swordplay while battling opponents. Even without her sword in most of her adventures, Madeline is still very skilled in fighting using her martial arts and agility on any opponents she encounters.
- Electrokinesis: Madeline's Crystal Sword can harness and generate the power of electricity by summoning lightning in the sky or clouds. However, the sword itself can lose its strength and energy by using too much of electricity or projectiles attacks and the sword will not be able to use any projectiles attacks again for 24 hours.
- Sonic Slash: The blue slash is a mid-range attack that came from her sword and it can slash her target by pushing her opponents towards the wall or anything behind them.
- Sonic Slash Barrage: Upon on the sword strength, this technique fires a barrage of blue slashes at its target when Madeline swings the Crystal Sword rapidly. However, whenever she uses the barrage of slashes, it makes her arms completely tired. Madeline can also used the technique by swinging her sword around while she spins in place like a tornado. Doing it for too long can cause her to be dizzy for a bit. Madeline mentioned twice that she doesn't used the ability that much.
- Blue Meteorite: The user charges towards a target, injuring them and knock them unconscious. However, it can cut right through anything without harming the opponent. Madeline is even capable of changing direction regardless of the speed at which she is traveling in.
- Spin Slash Ball Attack: When performing the Spin Slash Ball Attack, Madeline curls up and shoots forward like a concussive ball to perform a technique. However, Madeline keeps her sword outstretched in front of her while spinning. This maneuver turns Madeline into a buzzsaw that can effortlessly slash through robots and trees.
- Lighting Wolf Buster: One of Madeline's powerful attacks from the tip of her blade. Madeline can unleash a energy wave in the form of a blue wolf made of blue lightning that engulfs a target with its massive jaws which this move increases its strength. However, Madeline has yet to master this skill which she struggles to used its power. Whenever she uses this move, it will drain the sword strength and energy for a long amount of time for 24 hours. Madeline can also use this move while she is in her Electric Blue form but, it will cost her to revert back to her base form quickly.
- Blue Tornado Wave: While performing this technique, Madeline jumps into the air and swings her Crystal Sword by creating a blue tornado which forms a blue vortex and electricity around the target. However, the move doesn't harm the opponent but it can launch them into the air stunting them for a short time when they land in the ground.
- Glow Sword: The sword can light up on its own in dark places such as caves and forests.
- Electric Blue Madeline: Madeline can enter a super state, transforming her into Electric Blue Madeline. This form allowing her to have a electric aura surrounding her whole body and have glowing blue eyes and light blue hair. In this state, all of her abilities far surpass her normal ones including her electrokinesis which allows her to fire and charge up destructive bolts of lightning in this state. This form also amplifies all of her physical attributes, speed, strength, and endurance. Due to the state carry massive amounts of energy, she can only maintain in this form for 5 minutes. When time runs out, she will go back to her base form and lose amounts of speed, strength and stamina leaving her in a vulnerable state for a short time, making her base abilities much weaker.
- Beastwolf (formerly): After being bitten by an unstable mutation wolf, Madeline heart rate has increased and was transformed into a Beastwolf form after gazing at the full moon. The transformation cause Madeline half her clothing be torn apart, such as her pants, denim blue jacket, her fingerless gloves and boots exposing her entire feet which has blonde hair all over the upper surface on each feet. The transformation increased the muscular density and weight in her body which cause her to grow slightly larger. Madeline becomes feral and violent which she is unable to control the savage transformation. The transformation can be avoided by blocking the moon, covered the moon with clouds or have the user not gaze at the full moon to prevent the transformation from occurring. She permanently lost this form after destroying the unstable mutation wolf.
- Halberd: A primitive weapon as both a spear and ax that can make use of the weapon by counter attacking her opponents. Despite this, she also be able to deliver a powerful strikes that can send enemies flying into the air.
- Martial Artist: Madeline has been trained and taught in capable forms by her mentor Judo the Tiger and she is capable to perform impressive martial arts skills such as Tiger and Eagle Claw style to fight off her opponents by using melee attacks by attempting to overpowered her adversaries without relying on the Crystal Sword.
- Enhanced Strength: Madeline possesses a high level of physical strength and is able to swing her sword with such force that her opponents break stone when they crash. During her training session in the dojo, she is also strong enough to penetrate through solid wood with her punches and kicks. However, while using such greater force, she can injured her own hands and feet.
- Enhanced Durability: Madeline possesses a high durability, as seen when she is able to keep standing up on her feet at times, despite receiving numerous deadly attacks from her opponents by being hit by powerful attacks.
- Enhanced Hearing: During her time in the jungle, Madeline's ears to hear out sounds or can sense nearby dangers, that is from far away which they can warn her about by creating a tingling sensation in her ears by allowing her only hear something up to 2 mile radius.
- Acrobatics: Madeline allows herself to do flashy acrobatic techniques, used to avoid or dodging incoming attacks from her opponents. However, she even capable on doing wall jumps to buildings and trees.
- Enhanced Speed: Madeline is able to move at greater speeds, able to free run on treetops without losing her balance but, she can get pretty exhausted from all that running. She can also move things at enhanced speeds too, like swinging her sword blade. For example, she runs at a opponent and deflecting Ice shards in different directions with her sword.
- Enhanced Endurance: Madeline is resilient to great amount of injuries. She was able to withstand the impact after falling from eighth stories of any kind of building or trees without showing any sign of injuries and discomfort. She withstood attacks from her opponents like Goblin Brute and Havoc.
- Enhanced Stamina: Madeline possesses a high stamina and much more like Olympic-level athletes. She was able to handle and stay much alive while fighting a long battle and defeat all of Goblin Lord henchmen. However, she can get worn out a bit easily during a very long fight with her opponents.
- Shockproof: She has some resistance to electricity since she was able to take an electrical attack from Charlotte, quickly recovering from it. However, she can still feel a little pain from these types of shocks despite her immunity of electricity.
- Enhanced Jump: During her training with Bruce, Madeline was physically conditioned and taught how to leap and jump seven feet into the air.
- Enhanced Reflexes: Madeline possesses a great reaction speed who can predict and react to her enemies attacks without having to turn around. Madeline can react to her opponents movements before they even attempted to attack her. Furthermore, Madeline can run straight ahead to her opponents by deflecting incoming attacks like arrows and ice shards with her sword.
- Lighting Wolf Fist: Due to her connection to the Crystal Sword, Madeline typically does a combo of punches, then finishing with a palm strike to launch her opponents away by knocking them back towards the wall or anything behind them.
- Beanie Glider: The Beanie Glider allows Madeline to remove her beanie from her head and use Rickey's beanie form to glide through the air or allows her to parachute down safely on the ground during which it expands its size while she uses It.
- Meditation: A technique where Madeline does a lotus position or stand in one foot in place while meditating, allowing her to enter a state of calm concentration to better channel, increase their awareness, and build up their strength.
- Climbing: Madeline can climb to trees, rocks and other surfaces in order to scale towards them in her path.
- Side Step: This move allows Madeline to make a swift-strafing movement to left or right while running and avoid incoming obstacles and the target projectiles. When using this move, Madeline often moves so quickly on her feet that they will appear as a blur.
- Grinding Skills: While performing the technique, Madeline can gain more speed and momentum while grinding on Grind Rails. She can also used the move by grinding on branches on to trees and vines. Whenever Madeline grinds on green vines, It tickles the bottom of her soles making her a little ticklish despite not wearing any footwear on Infinite Island.
