Tree Rex is a character from the video game, Skylanders. He is a huge tree-like humanoid who is one of the eight Giants.

History[]
Long ago, the Arkeyans built a factory on the edge of a mighty forest. Over time, magic leaked out of the factory, and enter the roots of the tallest tree in the forest, causing it to mutate. Its branches became arms, while its trunk split into two huge legs. Tree Rex became ambulatory and a force to be reckoned with.
Tree Rex joined the other Giants in fighting Malefor, and all were defeated and had their powers absorbed into his crystal. They all got their powers back after Spyro broke the crystal. Tree Rex and Giants helped defend Skylands against Kaos and the sky rifts.

Appearance[]
Tree Rex is a giant creature that looks like it was created from a stack of pieces of rough wood. He has blue eyes, and some of his him red and some green, but the majority is the brown of tree bark.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Photosynthesis Cannon – He can fire beam of energy from his hand.
- Hand-to-hand combat - With his huge size and massive strength, Tree Rex is a formidable fighter. He does, though, have special combat moves:
- Shockwave Slam – He often attacks by slamming his fist on the ground, which sends out a shockwave, damaging opponents and knocking them off of their feet.
- Sequoia Stampede – He can charge forward into opponents, damaging them and sending them flying.
- Superhuman size and strength - Being very large and strong, Tree Rex can lift very large boulders and use them as missile weapons.

The only weapons that Tree Rex uses are large boulders that he picks up and hurls.
