In one alternate universe, Thor succeeded his father Odin as ruler of Asgard with his ally Sif bearing him a daughter. In the aftermath of Ultron taking over the world and defeating his fellow Avengers, Thor is forced to assume his duties as king and leaves Torunn under the care of Iron Man. While she could often times be both arrogant and prideful, Torunn gradually become humble through realizing her mortality and later learning that it was part of her father's reason to leave her on Earth. Though offered passage to Asgard to take her place, Torunn resolves to remain on Earth to help her adopted family rebuild the world.
