History[]
Tobirama Senju was born as the second son of Butsuma Senju during the Warring States Period. He and his brothers grew up on the battlefield, constantly drawn into conflict. He particularly developed a hatred towards the Uchiha clan for mudering his brothers.
However, his sole surviving brother, Hashirama Senju, sought to achieve peace between warring clans, resulting in the formation of several hidden villages, including the Hidden Leaf Village.
Although he genuinely desired peace, Tobirama did not become complacent, and his brother's compassion was always met by Tobirama's realistic concerns for the future. After Hashirama was chosen to become Hokage, Tobirama remained by his brother's side for the rest of his days. And before Hashirama died, he appointed Tobirama the Second Hokage.
Under Tobirama's leadership, the hidden village system thrived, allowing to it persist well after Tobirama's tenure. He developed the Shadow Clone Technique, which would be passed down for several generations to come. He also sought to strengthen relations between other hidden villages.
In much the same vein as his brother, before he died, Tobirama had decided on his successor, Hiruzen Sarutobi, passing onto him the title of Hokage.
