Introduction[]
Springtrap Foxy: Come one, come all! Can Kong's aquatic enemy put Godzilla's ancient adversary down? Or will the Goddess of the Oceans enjoy a seafood supper? There will be blood. There will be CARNAGE. There will be utmost DEVASTATION as our favorite kaijus' old foes throw down and roll their sleeves up for a Death Battle unlike any you've ever seen. Squid vs. Snake, Eel vs. Octopus, it's a kaiju crash course on Death Battle. I'm Springtrap Foxy.
Malusaurus: And I'm Malusaurus, and here we analyze, scrutinize, and weaponize our combatants for a kaiju Death Battle!
Titanus Kraken taunts and tortures Death Battle 'til the bitter end[]
M: Many people have made memes about the phrase "Kong bows to no one." Well, this oversized Inkling sure got close to achieving that! This is one Grade-A Industrial Bastard with extra Evil Megamind Sauce, a 700+ foot giant cephalopod daikaiju who literally killed almost everyone Kong knew, just to fight him to see who's the Alpha of Skull Island.
S.F.: The Kraken has been confirmed there during the events of Kong: Skull Island, a movie set about 20 years before the appearance of this kaiju. It has been resting in a state of stasis until it sensed the blood of a kaiju. It awoke when Kong was washing the blood from his wounds, and never stopped torturing him afterwards. This Inkling god literally threw an innocent whale hundreds of feet into the air towards Kong's home, just to get his attention. Few kaiju have earned the title of "Malevolent", and this fella sure earned it. He has bioluminescence and bio-electricity, meaning he glows and can electrocute his prey.
M: He also has 3 sets of massive tentacles. One being a set of 4 thin, elastic tentacles that put elastic superheroes to shame. Oh, they can do that over at least 50 feet away? The Kraken would slap them from over 2000 FUCKING FEET AWAY wit these suckers. It would track our unfortunate superhero with electrical sensors that can detect stress and heartbeats. Oh, and these red tentacles are venomous and generate lethal amounts of electricity, while not enough to say fry a Kong, but certainly put our rubbery superhero test subject 6 feet under in as little as an hour, maybe less. The Kraken's other sets provide a little extra weaponry and brute strength.
S.F.: These other tentacles also generate electricity and are the main areas to see this sea freak's bioluminescent action, aside from its 4 eyes. It also has gills, blowholes, and it possesses massive claws resembling those of a lobster or mantis shrimp. These possess a lot of stabbing/piercing power. It's not over. It can also move at extremely high speeds, thanks to its whale-like tail. It was thought to have come to Skull Island via Hollow Earth, just like the Skullcrawlers and Camazotz, an oversized bat with a stunning sonic screech.
M: This Inkling also has remarkable intelligence, as it displays lots of advanced and malevolent behaviors not seen in supposed man-eating carnivores like lions and sharks. Nope, this kalamari has near/at human intelligence, and certainly could've been an Alpha. It would've acually put up a jaw-dropping fight against other kaiju like Rodan and Mothra. Too bad its bad defenses and single-tracked mind bent on killing Donkey Kong led it to be torn in half out of the water and tossed aside. It cannot withstand too much blunt trauma, as its invertabrate traits means it is a rather soft target. Mother Nature armed it to its headfin, but it wasn't enough to put a middle-aged gorilla to sleep.
Titanus Tiamat drowns Death Battle deep below the surface[]
S.F.: You'll know a villain is bad news when they show up in a Justice League comic...even worse if Aquaman resorted to unleashing the DC Kraken just to stop Tiamat, the Goddess of the Oceans from kicking all their asses. Da-yumn, this giant eel is over 1000 feet, longer than Ghidorah, and the LARGEST Monsterverse kaiju ever recorded...that we know of.
M: Tiamat is like a lot of other kaiju who want the title of "Alpha" on their namecard. She is VERY territorial, and killed a Titanus Kong who usurped Godzilla's old layer. After she had some nice chimp steak, she moved in, much to the G-man's chagrin. She is also classed as a Destroyer kaiju, meaning she is very destructive, and she destroyed lots of places full of people in Georgia and South Carolina on her way to the ocean, killing 1.25+ MILLION people, along one straight trajectory. Tiamat woke up when Ghidorah decided to test his singing voice, which led to him waking up almost every Titan on Earth, aside from the dead ones or the ones like Skullcrawlers, who couldn't give any less of a shit for Ghidorah's tryout. Still, the goddess decided to go on a killing spree, and after Godzilla fried Ghidorah like a giant snake-meat Fillet-O-Fish, then she went back to her old place, where she expected the unsuspecting Gojira.
S.F.: It is here that she displays a very troublesome ability: HYDROKINESIS, or essentially off-brand Water-Bending. She is able to create vortexes of water to drag prey deep beneath the surface, like she did for the Legendary G-man. Then, she decided to display more of her arsenal. Oh, and she is bioluminescent, and feeds on electricity. Hell, she fires large blasts of lightning from her eyes like some sort of wannabe superhero...not that she is either. Tiamat spreads her hood and releases a nasty chemical called PHOSPHORUS INK. She used it to blind Godzilla, and it is likely it is corrosive, melting smaller organisms and dissolving through hide if exposed long enough.
M: Her entire body is like a giant whip with glass shards sprouting from it. That's right, her very SCALES are serrated, and can cut through tough hide like Godzilla's fat scaly ass. This battle seemed like Godzilla would lose, and if it weren't for the air bubble at the bottom, it is likely the already exhausted Godzilla would've probably lost and met the same fate as that unfortunate Kong. And even worse, Tiamat can mimic human voices, eerily sounding like she wants to speak with you. The only thing she wants is FREEDOM.
S.F.: Like the Kraken, Tiamat can't take too much blunt trauma. When Godzilla reached the air pocket, Tiamat's inability to fight on land meant she was taking more damage, and because of her body shape, she is vulnerable to body strikes, as her body is long, it is easier for her to break her back if she isn't careful. They both hate land and they shouldn't try to get hit. Both are territorial monsters.
M: Both are glowing blue bastards who had the balls to face Godzilla and Kong. Both are bio-electric bitches with a taste for blood. One serves another, one serves no one but themselves. Who will win? Truly, tensions mount as this Death Battle reaches a kaiju climax! Goddamn it, stop the alliteration and roll the damn fight!
Pre-Fight+Warnings[]
This battle takes place somewhere near Skull Island, before it is taken elsewhere. This fight takes place in many different places, but all happen without cameos to other fights by other users. This battle will have some amount of non-canon, and the characters' peprsonalities may be altered to some extent, but enough to keep them in character. They will be about their canon sizes, and data from official websites and channels has been used to bring you bloody carnage. The dates will be changed to the events of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, specifically when Ghidorah unleashes his alpha call.
Location: Skull Island
Date: 2019
Deep beneath the surface, many Skullcrawlers were either dead or dying as a result of a Kong beating them after they tried to escape Skull Island. All this blood, as well as a strange frequency, awoke a massive terror thought dead. The Kraken surfaced and roared as a response to the call, and proceeded to swim out and away from Skull Island, and toward the Southern Ocean and around Tierra del Fuego to see what was up. It looked around, and spotted a low-lying island nation, the city of Havana looming above the waters. All too easy, the squid thought, heading towards the city. Suddenly, a blast of lightning, and screams of anguish.
Location: Cuba
Date: 2019
Tiamat smirked. The beaver-faced muscleman was too easy, and went down with one blast. Her tail flicked and destroyed another swath of cityscape. She slipped into the water, behind a massive blob she realized was a kaiju. This was her turf, Tiamat thought. She began to siphon the water downwards, creating a vortex.
The Kraken began to sink into the water. It roared and slammed its tentacles into the water, eventually grabbing something. The thing thrashed, so the Kraken dived and dispersed the maelstrom and stared at the long figure. The creature hissed back. They roared simultaneously. The sea began to froth and the sky clouds over.
Fight![]
Tiamat roared and body-slammed the God of Inklings, who in response stung her with red tentacles. The sensation stung, and it got worse with every strike. Tiamat grabbed the tentacles and used her teeth to saw through them, creating a deafening response from the opponent. The Kraken reeled its tentacles back, the tips gone and leaking blue blood. The Kraken used more tentacles to try and grapple the sea serpent, so it could try to kill Tiamat quickly. Tiamat used this to get closer and constrict the Kraken, cutting deep gashes into it. Her mouth was suddenly pried open by tentacles, causing her to uncoil and back away, biting on the offending flesh tubes and eventually knawing them off. She stared back at him, waiting for his next response.
The Kraken was pissed. He brought his claws down onto her back, causing Tiamat to roar in agony, and he cut pieces of her fins off, then pounded her again. Tiamat opened her venom hood and suddenly, all the octopus could see was a blinding white. It looked around, trying to find relief. Then the pain set in. A bitter and sour taste filled the Kraken's mouth. The taste of poison and acid. The Kraken responded by striking Tiamat with his own toxins. They both were pissed and glared at each other. The storms above got worse, as Ghidorah noticed the blast, but was taking his time.
The two kept grappling. Tiamat wraps herself around a rock and strikes at the Kraken's claws, trying to remove them, while the Kraken breaks the rock. Tiamat wraps around one claw, and using her scales...shreds it. The claw falls off, followed by a cloud of blue. Tiamat was then struck in the face. The Kraken sucker-punched her and threw her upwards. Tiamat decided she was done with games, and created a whirlpool that launched them both out of the water. They both landed on the beach. The Kraken was stranded, helpless, as Tiamat slipped back into the water. Tentacles grabbed her and the Kraken slid right back in with her. More of the golden glowing stuff was scattered as the Kraken blindly swung with one claw. Tiamat then launched at the Inkling like...well, a snake and bit his face, removing his head antenna and half of his eyes. Half-blind, the Kraken got a good strike in on Tiamat, knocking the wind out of her.
Tiamat needed to end this. She created a much larger vortex, trapping the Kraken and stabbing it with debris, then she began charging her electrical laser. The Kraken smacked Tiamat across the face with a tentacle, stunning her briefly, then dragged her into her own whirlpool, bludgeoning her with his remaining tentacles and one crab claw. They both spun in the water, biting and hitting and slicing. Finally, Tiamat wrapped herself around the entirety of the Kraken, and started squeezing, her scales like a hundred teeth, biting into him. Here, below, she is at her strongest. The ocean clouded over with blue, choking all nearby marine life with deep-teal liquid. When the ocean cleared, all that remained was a bleeding Tiamat and chunks of shredded kalamari, including the intact head of the Kraken. Tiamat roared in the dead squid's face, and grabbe a few bites to eat from the fallen kaiju. She surfaced and saw Ghidorah, the Three Headed Monster. Exhausted, she bowed down to him. Ghidorah smiled at the devastation of Cuba.
K.O.!![]
Tiamat dives deep below, tired. She has won against a kaiju she didn't knew. It, whatever it was, was delicious. Her stomach full, she dives deep back into her home at Outpost 53, in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
Kong roars at the water. Dead silence. The monkey was getting concerned. If the Kraken wasn't here, he thought, I don't know where it could be. The monkey shuddered, and turned to see if the native humans of Skull Island were okay.
Results, OST, and Trivia[]
Springtrap Foxy: Sad, but the Inkling was doomed from the start, though this match-up is closer than implied.
Malusaurus: Tiamat feeds on electricity, negating one of Kraken's most potent kill moves. They both have different kinds of toxins, and both share similar weaknesses for different reasons. However, one thing would've finished the squid OR the snake, depending on who couldn't reach water: dry land. Tiamat struggled and lost within 10 seconds to Goji on land, and the Kraken can breathe above water, but wasn't designed for it well.
S.F.: Well, the Kraken lost to a teenage-middle age Kong, who was weaker before Godzilla vs. Kong, meaning the foes they faced during their appearences had a wide power gap. Godzilla had beaten Ghidorah right before defeating Tiamat, and unlike Kraken, she lived. The squid's tentacles made Kraken somewhat more versatile, but the moment the phosphorus ink came out, 'twas the beginning of the end. Tiamat's scales can cut into hide as tough as Godzilla's, so what did a soft invertebrate body offer? Utter defeat. Cause? Shredded like cheese. Against a water-manipulator with a blinding toxin and an entire body of knives?
M: Tiamat sure did KRAK this case, 'cuz the Kraken's TIAM ran out.
S.F.: The winner is Titanus Tiamat.
