Tobias Aaron Rogers (Better known as Ticci Toby) is the villain protagonist of the eponymous Slenderverse story.

History[]

Tobias Aaron Rogers was a kid born with multiple different mental illnesses. He also had a physical illnesses known as Tourette’s syndrome. He was bullied by children for having Tourette’s syndrome, which made him uncontrollably twitch. The children gave him the nickname Ticci Toby. Because of this, Tobias was homeschooled and despite that everything was mostly normal. But that changed when he turned 17, when he and his sister got in a car crash. Both of them survived long enough for both of them to get to the hospital but Toby's sister died in the hospital. After that, Toby developed PTSD and schizophrenia. His mental health got worse when his dad became abusive to Toby and his mother. His father verbally abused and beated Toby despite Toby not feeling it due to him having Congenital Insensitivity to Pain. Toby's mom was worried about her son so she brought him to a doctor for mental treatment. It did not help Tobias and he saw a tall man in a suit stalking him from a distance. That night Toby had a dream of his dead sister and when he woke up heard voices telling him to kill his father. He tried ignoring the voices but could not ignore them and he stabbed his father to death. His mother saw what he did and was horrified. Toby knowing his mom did nothing to him and that she loved him let her go. Not long after he went to his dad's garage and picked up two hatchets. After that he uses gasoline and a box of matches to set the surrounding forest and neighborhood on fire. Toby knowing there was no escape waited for his death but was saved by Slenderman. The story end two weeks later with Toby's mom moving into her sister's home and the news telling the story of four middles schoolers found bludgeoned and stabbed to death. The main suspect for the murders were Tobias Rogers who was believed to be dead from the fire but was believed to be alive as no body was found.

Note: Despite being inspired from the Creepypastas, the Jeff The Killer Saga and PastaMonsters has it's own lore and canon so it counts. Toby's story is usually the same as his original backstory, but composite Toby is usually seen with other Creepypastas as a composite

  • Reliant Immortality.
    • Slenderman controls whether Toby lives or dies.
  • Illusion Casting.
    • Even the most basic proxies can cast illusions.
  • Immunity to Soul Manipulation.
    • Proxies do not have souls.
  • Limitless Stamina.
    • Proxies have limitless energy as long as someone needs to be killed.
  • Intelligence
    • Toby can build weapons from scratch, overpower men with pure thought and planning and has a lot of survival and combat skills.

Feats[]

  • Easily caught up to and killed Mr. Widemouth who was one of Zalgo's servants (Jeff the Killer Saga)
  • Comparable to Jeffery Keaton who could catch up and harm Slenderman who was stated to being able to disappear in a flash and Jeff is able to easily crush human skulls (Jeff the Killer Saga)
  • Survived a car crash
  • Held off Zalgo but died shortly after (Pastamonsters)
  • Beat up Laughing Jack once when Laughing Jack made fun of his dead sister (Pastamonsters)
    • After this, Toby had to be restrained by Jeff, Hoodie, Masky, and Eyeless Jack all at once. Laughing Jack was left with a broken nose and busted teeth.
  • Is faster than Jeff the Killer who can dodge point blank gunfire in some of the stories
  • Can easily take hits from people who are vastly superior to Jeff The Killer and Jane the Killer.
    • Keep in mind that Jeff the Killer took hits from Slenderman and Jeff survived being burned alive.
  • Has a fraction of Slenderman’s power
  • Possibly scales to Jeff, who can harm Zalgo and survive nuclear bombs. (Pastamonsters)
    • Keep in mind, this might not be good scaling since Jeff once stomped all of the proxies.
    • On the other hand, this scaling could be possible since Toby has a fraction of Slenderman's powers, and Slenderman is usually depicted as stronger than Jeff.
  • Can build weapons from scratch.
  • Can overpower grown men with just thought and planning
  • Has a lot of combat and survival skills due to becoming a proxie.
  • Fought against BEN Drowned

Trivia[]

  • Ticci Toby once canonically dated Clockwork as this was confirmed by the creators of both Ticci Toby and Clockwork but they later changed their minds and now they are no longer a couple.
  • This is a full list of Toby’s disorders
    • C.I.P.A (Congenital Insensitivity to Pain with Anhidrosis): Causes him to be numb to pain.
    • Schizophrenia: Delusions, bizarre behaviour, disorganized speech.
    • Tourette Syndrome: Tics result in cracking of neck and joints.
    • P.T.S.D (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder): After a car accident.
    • Amnesia: After he met Slender Man.
  • Toby is NOT obsessed with waffles. Most people got that idea from this skit that was done for fun.
  • Toby is usually depicted as twitching and stuttering a lot due to his Tourette Syndrome but this is not canon. In the original story, Toby only occasionally twitched and did not stutter at all.
  • Toby is usually seen as being friends and working with Masky and Hoodie despite the fact that Marble Hornets is not connected to Creepypastas at all and Masky & Hoodie were never proxies. Masky and Hoodie were also enemies with that universe's Slenderman who went by the name "The Operator". Despite this, Toby is friends and does work with Masky and Hoodie in PastaMonsters.
  • In Pastamonsters, Toby's favorite food is "Slendy-Cakes" which he describes as pancakes but with the souls of children.
  • In Pastamonsters, Toby has a habit of dramatically putting his goggles on before going into a fight or battle.
    • Even if his goggles are already on, he will take them off only to put them back on seconds after.
