Description[]
They are both large sea-creature like individuals who resemble different animals found in the ocean, while one is a hero, the other is a villain. This is the Fourteenth episode of the Sixth season of Dandyclaw's Death Battle.
Interlude[]
·Wiz: Sharks and Whales. Within the depths of the ocean, these creatures have become either beloved or feared by many people for many years.
·Boomstick: So, it only makes sense that pit two of the coolest fictional whale and shark characters in a fight to death.
·Wiz: King Shark, the half-man half-shark supervillain of the DC Universe.
·Boomstick: Thumpback, the Colossal Ex-Sky Pirate Giant of Skylanders. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
·Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills and find out who would win a Death Battle?
King Shark lurks beneath the waters of Death Battle[]
o Wiz: The Dc universe is wide and vast, filled with tons of heroes and villains with their own weird and odd backstories
o Boomstick: Yeah no kidding, and the monstrous metahuman known as King Shark is no different.
o Wiz: Before a giant fish man, King Shark’s real name was Shay Lamden, and he was a marine biologist who worked at the Central City Aquarium. He had a loving wife and a successful career, things couldn’t be happier for the man.
https://youtu.be/-GWMM3IqWac?si=LtUEG0aU4LbjhsrR
o Boomstick: But since this is a DC comic character, no one is allowed to have a happy ending. On one fateful night, the particle accelerator belonging to the renowned scientist Harrison Wells exploded, affecting nearly half the citizens of the city with dark matter and transforming them into Meta-humans.
o Wiz: In Shay’s case, not only did it kill his wife in the process, but also mutated and supercharged the cells in his body and transformed him into a half man/half shark creature which the public would nickname "King Shark".
o Boomstick: Well at least he got a cool new name out of the deal.
o Wiz: Now alone and confused due to the his new shark physiology affecting his brain, King Shark roamed the street and lakes of Central City, until he was approached by the evil speeder known as Zoom and recruited him in joining his Meta-human army in his quest to conquer the Multiverse.
o Boomstick: Yeah we forgot to mention early that this takes place in a world where there are infinite earths with different versions of every character. So Zoo and King Shark are from Earth 2, hopefully that clears up any future confusion going forward.
https://youtu.be/i8awJAaIGic?si=acZQA-ebaom_ILBw
o Wiz: Taking advantage of Shay’s weakened mind state, Zoom manipulated King Shark into becoming his top enforcer and sent him to Prime Earth 1 to kill the speederster of that universe, Barry Allen, aka the Flash.
o Boomstick: Ahhh! Once he got to Earth 1, it didn’t long for this fish man to become one of the Flash’s most dangerous new foes. And for good reason too, because Shay's new personality as a human-shark hybrid made him want to dine on some fine human meat, courtesy of whatever sap crossed his path.
o Wiz: At 10 feet tall and weighing over 400 lbs, King Shark is a monster. As a meta-human, Shay possesses great physical strength, being able tear a man completely in half, bite through steel like it was tissue paper, knock down the Flash while he is running at superhuman speed, and tear apart the roof of a house with ease.
o Boomstick: Forget the Big Bad Wolf, because his Big Bad Shark will do more than just huff, puff, and blow your house down. He’ll completely demolish it.
o Wiz: I knew I was going to regret letting you read that book.
https://youtu.be/2pNoyhCNiTs?si=ecuLI0LFPDDkzif5
o Boomstick: He’s ridiculously tough, being able to withstand very high levels of physical damage. Shoot him with a gun, those bullets will just ricochet right off of him, and that was just with a glock. He’s been fired at by numerous A.R.G.U.S. agents with rifles and machine guns, and they still couldn’t hurt him.
o Wiz: King Shark's durability is far beyond that of an average human, as he is able to take several lightning bolts hurled by the Flash, who at his top speeds, can throw at least seven bolts of lightning at once.
o Boomstick: And he wouldn’t live up to his name as “King Shark” if he didn’t possess any abilities of said shark too, specifically, a Great White Shark.
o Wiz: With his shark physiology, King Shark can breathe underwater and swim as faster as an actual shark. The top speed of the fastest shark in the world, a Mako Shark, is about 45 miles per hour, but King Shark can move in the water at speeds nearly equal to that of the Flash, can reach speeds up to 670 million miles per hour.
https://youtu.be/4jdLzLevvCo?si=ChD7d8eCG9gC5UqA
o Boomstick: That’s more than enough to break the speed of light. He’s like the roadrunner to King Shark’s coyote. Now all we need is an anvil to fall on him.
o Wiz: Well not like that will have any effect on a creature like him, for he also possesses a healing factor thanks to another gift from his shark physiology; regenerative cells.
o Boomstick: This has allowed him to survive some pretty nasty wounds. Like when he lost his entire right hand to an automatic metal door, he fully regrew a new one in only a few seconds. He’s also able to regrow any of his 70 teeth should they ever break.
o Wiz: King Shark is able to sense the bio-electricity in living creatures, as a normal shark uses this process to track its prey, which allowed him to track down the Flash's powerful electrical signature throughout an entire city.
o Boomstick: This guy would be awesome at playing hide and seek, though I think his version would be called hide-and-seek-and-eat.
https://youtu.be/2DP9SRuCZD4?si=J_wycXsD26PyDx9e
o Wiz: With these powers, King Shark has battled some of DC’s heavy hitters and lived to tell the tale.
o Boomstick: These would include the king of Atlantis; Aquaman, the monster that lurks Gotham City’s sewers; Killer Croc, aliens like Parademons and the symbiotic Starro, and the world greatest detective; Batman.
o Wiz: Because King shark is pretty simple minded and it doesn’t take a genius like the Dark Knight outthink or outmaneuver a creature that relies mainly on his primal instincts to win a fight.
o Boomstick: Man I'd love to be a shark-man, those powers sound wicked cool.
o Wiz: Really, well if you want, I’ve been working on a little project that just revolutionizes the world of…
https://youtu.be/FQH0pWHz9vo?si=1Knvf83xFBhXlSuc
o Boomstick: On second thought, I'll pass, the last thing I want is to be another one of your failed science experiments, Wiz.
o Wiz: What do you mean “failed’ experiments? Well after several grueling battles, Barry finally was able to defeat Zoom and leave King Shark trapped in custody of the world-dominating government black ops division A.R.G.U.S., where he was constantly forced to work for the government boogie-woman Amanda Waller and her Sucicide Squad, whether he wanted to or not.
o Boomstick: Because if not, she’d blow his brains to kingdom come. After Amanda Waller’s death, A.R.G.U.S. was taken over by the more nice female role model and fiance to arrow buddy John Diggle, Lyla, she disbanded the Sucide Squad program and relocated King Shark to another facility hoping to research his body on meta-human psychology. And what better person to head to be the head of this new division than the Earth-1 doppelgänger of Shay’s late wife Tanya Lamden.
https://youtu.be/pAt069DcO6A?si=uuT62fkz8ioIu537
o Wiz: And just in time too, for Barry and his allies from Team Flash had just developed a cure to revert Meta-humans back to their pre-metamorphosis state, and needed a candidate willing to test it out. Since Tanya had formed a close friendship with Shay, she was able to convince to give the new cure a try.
o Boomstick: Also reluctant at first, Team Flash brought Shay to S.T.A.R. Labs and successfully turned Shay back into a normal human. Bummer, I was just starting to like him as a shark man.
o Wiz: For the first time in his life, Shay could finally think clearly and have his own free will back instead of having the mind of a feral animal. And although things were a little awkward for them at first, being from two completely different Earths, Tanya and Shay rekindled their relationship and decided that they would live together once he was injected a second time in order for the cure's effects to be permanent.
o Boomstick: But as usually, their happiness didn’t last long before another earth shattering threat drove them apart.
https://youtu.be/VDtH91f5VbA?si=gOIDWFulyB9Si8KT
o Wiz: Turns out that the evil super-genius Gorilla Gordd had escaped from A.R.G.U.S. custody, stolen a Telepathic crown used by one of the Flash’s other super intelligent enemies, The Thinker, which was further enhanced by Tanya’s design to give King Shark back his intelligence. With his new device, Grodd used it to enhance his own psychic abilities, intending to take control of the minds of everyone in Central City.
o Boomstick: Though Team Flash tried their best to subdue the Megamind ape, they eventually realized that they were outmatched and needed help, some big help.
o Wiz: When Shay learned what Grodd had done and what was planning to do, he begged for Team Flash to turn him back into meta-human so that he could try to stop him, due him having a more animal-like mind as King Shark kept Grodd from controlling him. Though they warned him that if they did allow him to turn back into King Shark, it would not be possible for him to return to his human state.
o Boomstick: But determined to save the man who helped him and to to make up for the trouble he'd caused as a meta-human, stood by his decision to become King Shark. Atta boy Shay, I knew he’d come around eventually.
o Wiz: After being blasted by Cisco’s vibe powers and transformed back into King Shark, Grodd and Shay engaged in a fierce battle, where he eventually was able to come out on top, reclaiming the device from the evil gorilla for his own.
https://youtu.be/ij8NhoPzgUw?si=mSikYySejabdTgZd
o Boomstick: This was definitely the pre-matchup for Godzilla vs King Kong. But man, you'd think this guy would never lose to anyone, ever. But you'd also be super wrong.
o Wiz: King Shark may have all the strength of the ocean’s apex predator, but he also has the weaknesses of them too. Because of his shark physiology, if Shark’s body is upside-down, it will cause him to enter into a state of paralysis called Tonic Immobility.
o Boomstick: He’s also very sensitive to cold temperatures, and like all great white sharks, if the temperature of his surroundings drops below 53 degrees Fahrenheit, it’ll knock him unconscious.
o Wiz: But most importantly, not only is he not very smart in his shark form, but King Shark is highly dependent on the water, and he must stay in or regularly return to water to re-oxygenate his blood, which enables his ability to operate on dry land for long periods of time.
o Boomstick: But things were not all gloom and doom for this massive fish man. After he aided the Flash and his daughter in defeating Gorilla Grodd, King Shark was moved to a newer and nicer tank at A.R.G.U.S., allowing him plenty of space to swim freely and relieved from his services as their personal watchdog and enforcer.
https://youtu.be/xX2Zs6M1II8?si=54tiiPEKwGVfoOzC
o Wiz: Even though Tanya was saddened that she couldn't help her beloved Shay become human again, he expressed nothing but gratitude toward her for everything she'd done for him, stating that he didn’t regret his actions for a second and that he will always love her, whether as man or a shark.
o Boomstick: Those two definitely give me Beauty and the Beast Vibes.
o Wiz: Of course you of all people would think that.
o Boomstick: But no matter what side he is on, one look at King Shark is all it takes to instill the fear of sharks into whoever crosses his path.
o Wiz: Also, he dated John Constantine.
o Boomstick: WAIT, WHAT?!
o King Shark: King Shark wants you Gone!!!
Thumpback is ready to set sail towards Death Battle[]
o Wiz: The world of Skylands is interesting, to say the least, filled with colorful characters and species such as dragons, anthropomorphic fish, weird bird creatures, and undead warriors.
o Boomstick: It's safe to say that there are few things in this world that are considered normal, especially when it comes to the creatures who live in this world that floats among the clouds.
o Wiz: Enter: The Skylanders. An army of legendary warriors, magical creatures or just determined everyday individuals who protect the world they are named after. Each Skylander to be part of the force's ranks is indoctrinated into one of several elements. We have the standard Fire, Water, Air, Earth, even the mystical Light and Darks.
o Boomstick: Although these guys, and gal, weren't any ordinary Skylanders. In a Story Scroll, they are called the Elder Elementals, the strongest of the Skylanders. But you probably know them better for the size, since their collective title is the Giants. And nothing brings together a team of heroes like a world-threatening crisis.
https://youtu.be/gKjEjCcoDYQ?si=_hlDF5gs6Dg-fhq4
o Wiz: From the mystic leader Tree Rex, the buzzing bug Swarm, and the knife-wielding genie Ninjini, these Giant Skylanders are some of the most heroic and powerful Skylanders ever known.
o Boomstick: But the one we’ll be focusing on today is the swashbuckling, hard hitting, and wise-cracking marine mammal of the sky seas, Thumpback.
o Wiz: Thumpback was once a fearsome member of a pirate crew known as the Phantom Tide, who were known for being the most ruthless band of privateers to ever sail the Skylands.
o Boomstick: These band of seas thieves would spend their days sailing through the seas skies, shivering their timbers, saying "aargh" all the time, and searching for all forms of treasure, whether they be worthless or worthful. Ah, pirate’s life for me.
o Wiz: However, unlike the rest of his crew, Thumpback was never happy with the whole pirate stuff. Sure he liked his friends and the adventures they had together, but pirating was never truly for him. After all, his real passion was fishing.
https://youtu.be/XGzpPG0V3Bs?si=xg6gNIMizGeGf3va
o Boomstick: Nothing would make the big guy happier than throw his lines in the sky, catch a few fish, eat them or then throw them back. But then came the day to snag the biggest catch of his life, the legendary Leviathan Cloud Crab.
o Wiz: Thumpback had only heard about this magnificent creature through stories he had heard from other sailors drinking away in taverns. When he finally saw it with his own two eyes, he couldn't pass up the opportunity of a lifetime.
o Boomstick: Unfortunately, things didn't quite go according to plan, and he ended up getting pulled overboard and carried off into the horizon by the cloud crab. So not the best fishing trip ever, but still wicked cool nonetheless.
o Wiz: But determined not to lose the biggest catch of his life, Thumpback refused to let go, and he continued to hold on to the monstrous grab until he was forced to let go. But by the time he got back to port, his ship and his crew had mysteriously vanished.
o Boomstick: Turns out while they were out looking for their lost friend, The Phantom Tide and its entire crew were banished to the Chest of Exile, a mysterious chest created by the evil Arkeyans to imprison the pirate crew for the next 10,000 years ago. So failing to catch that crab may have actually saved his life, so, win-win I guess.
o Wiz: With his ship and crew gone from his life, Thumpback’s pirate days were over. Luckily he was approached and offered to join the other Skylander Giants to help fend off the Arkeyans and protect his home from danger, which he happily accepted.
o Boomstick: Thumpback’s pirating days may have been over, but his days as one of the first Skylanders were just getting started.
o Wiz: Thumpback is a whale-like behemoth creature known for his dependability, trustworthiness, and having the gifted patience of a true angler. Although his exact height and weight are unknown, we can calculate that he stands around 8 feet tall and weighs in at around 1000 lbs.
o Boomstick: Thumpback’s primary weapon is a large ship’s anchor, which he can throw and twirl around like a Yo-Yo to take out all shorts of threat, like those Chompys. DIE CHOMPIES, DIE.
o Wiz: Okay. He keeps the anchor’s chain wrapped around his left forearm, and he can spin the anchor around and release it, making it a formidable projectile.
https://youtu.be/b4oz8piH2hE?si=xfmqFslcIJ5JJH9r
o Boomstick: Anchor that size could easily smash through solid stone or even a wood, meaning any Life or Earth Elemental Skylander better think twice about messing with this sea dog. Oh I'm sorry, SEA WHALE.
o Wiz: With his huge size and massive strength, Thumpback is a formidable fighter and was occasionally known to spar with fellow Giants Ninjini, and Crusher, as they too have weapons that are not a part of their bodies.
o Boomstick: Those guys don't know what they are missing. But, Thumpback's anchor isn't his only weapon in his arsenal. He's also got his enormous mouth where he can literally bite his way through his opponents or chew them up and spit them out like a piece of gum.
o Wiz: Rumor also has it that 6 fully grown Skylanders could fit into Thumpback's mouth, not that they'd want to.
o Boomstick: I wouldn't. Ugh, just imagine those giant white bricks he calls teeth just... closing around you.
o Wiz: Which is kind of ironic since he’s based on a Humpback Whale, who have long hair-like strips called baleen, which they use to filter out plankton in the water.
o Boomstick: Too much info, Wiz.
o Wiz: There is no such thing as too much information for the mind.
o Boomstick: There is for me. Then there is his other signature move, The Belly Flop, and he’s not just doing this to show off at a pool party.
o Wiz: He can use his great mass to do a massive belly flop, leaping forward and sliding into, or even onto, his opponents on his belly.
o Boomstick: And just like a whale, Thumpback is an excellent swimmer, able to dive depth that no normal Skylander can reach, as long as he comes up for air every now and then.
https://youtu.be/XTUpZxk4d9M?si=FscNA9I9RU6ZtBy8
o Wiz: While swimming, he can launch starfish, emit a blowhole blast, and perform an underwater chomp attack.
o Boomstick: With his blowhole blats, he shoots bursts of water at his water from the hole on his head to do some minor damage or push his foes back to give him the time he needs to escape.
o Wiz: The starfish seem to act like a ninja shuriken star that he can use as a short range weapon to throw at his foes both on land and in the water.
o Boomstick: He's a ninja in a whale suit! Called it.
o Wiz: That is not at all what I said or meant.
o Boomstick: Finally, he's also got his sheer strength and weight, of which he can pull islands with little to no effort, create shock-waves by just stomping or even smash through large formations with ease.
o Wiz: Just one of those islands had to have weighed at least several tones and he just pulled it over like he was playing tug of war.
o Boomstick: And he just hoped right on it no worse for the wear ready for his fight. Y'know, like-like you do.
o Wiz: With his fellow Skylanders and Giants at his side, Thumpback was more than ready to join the fight against the evil forces that plagued his homelands.
o Boomstick: He’s fought Giant Spiders, the evil Chompy Mage, a giant killer robot, defeated an army twice over and even fallen from the atmosphere as His player’s avatar to defeat the evil pipsqueak Kaos. That guy kinda reminds me of you.
o Wiz: How, might I ask, does he possibly remind you of me?
o Boomstick: You are both loud, annoying, and are mad scientists hellbent on world domination.
https://youtu.be/qBGeLECO2Ko?si=hu2lEhBjHfNOfwmg
o Wiz: Only one of those statements are true. However, Thumpback Isn't perfect. He mainly relies on teamwork and cooperation from his allies to solve problems, and his size is just as much a crucial flaw as it is an advantage.
o Boomstick: Sure he can crush anyone under his boot heel like they were a bug, but said “bug” is super speedy like an elf or something, they can avoid his heavy blows and wear him down.
o Wiz: But Thumpback has not let his disadvantage get in the way of doing what he does best, saying the world alongside his new friends.
o Boomstick: And kicking some serious butt with that massive anchor of his.
o Wiz: For when it is time to set sail for adventures on the high seas, Thumpback will always be ready to join his friends as first-mate to protect the Skylands from evil.
o Boomstick: Yo ho ho, Thumpback is ready to go.
o Thumpback: Hail to the Whale
Pre-Fight[]
Wiz: all right the combatants are set, lets end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fight[]
At an old fishing dock, Thumpback is sitting on the dock with a fishing pole in the water.
Thumpback: Aw, there is nothing better than a nice day of fishing to get your spirits up.
Suddenly he feels a tug on his line and he starts pulling on it. At first he struggles, but then he is able to pull the fish out, revealing to be King Shark.
Thumpback: Wow, looks like i caught a big one this time.
King Shark: King Shark is no ones prize fish.
King Shark pulls the fishing pole out of Thumpbacks hand and snaps it like a twig. Thumpback then reaches into a boat and pulls out his trusting anchor.
Thumpback: Well this is where fishing gets serious.
King shark lunges at the Skylander mouth open, but Thumpback dodges the attack, making him chomp on a random boat, biting it in half. King shark then picks up the two halves up of the boat and throws them at Thumpback. The Skylander swings his anchor chain around before throwing it at the nearby projectiles, smashing through the boat pieces, and slamming into King shark, knocking him back into the water. Thumpback looks around the water waiting for King Shark to attack from the water. But King Shark appears from behind him, but Thumpback turns around just in time to use his anchor as a shield to block the mutant's sharks teeth.
Thumpback: When was the last time you brushed your teeth.
After a short struggle, the giant Skylander kicks King Shark in the chest to push him away and release his anchor. Thumpback charges and swings his anchor again, which King Shark quickly dodges then counterattacks by biting down on Thumpback's arm. He shouts from the bite before uppercutting the mutant shark in the lower jaw to knock him off of him. King Shark grabs a piece of would from the dock and yanks it out, using it a club to smack the giant Skylander and him flying back onto the beach.
King Shark: You are strong, but not strong enough.
King Shark throws the plank of wood at Thumpback, who throws a starfish at it, causing to shatter to pieces. Thumpback stand up from the heavy blow and see King Shark charging right at him So he belly-flops onto the ground, causing a tremor that shakes the the sanding beach. King Shark wobbles as the ground shakes around, throwing him off balance. But before he can regain his webbed footing, Thumpback comes charging and unleashed a fury of anchor and punch combos, ending with a punch to the mutant shark's stomach, causing him to be sent flying straight through a palm tree. Several coconuts fall on his head, making Thumpback laugh at him in amusement.
Thumpback: If that was your best shot, then all you hit was blubber.
King Sharks stands up and grabs the coconut from his head and crushes it with his fist in anger. Thumpback reacts first and throws his Anchor at King Shark, but the mutant shark opens his mouth and grabs the anchor in his out and catches it in his mouth. He gives a smirk and jumps back into the water, pulling the anchor and the giant Skylander with him into the water. As Thumpback is dragged deeper into the water by King Shark, he is able to wrestle his anchor out of King Shark's mouth, taking some of his teeth with him. But his healing factor kicks in and his teeth grow back in seconds.
King Shark: I think its time you fight back on my turf.
Thumpback: In case you haven't noticed, I'm a marine mammal.
The two massive aquatic creatures swam towards each other at incredible speeds. They collide with each other in a headbutt that sends them both backwards in the water after the shockwave forces them back. King Shark recovers first and easily out swims his opponent, however, tackling him and pushes him deeper into the ocean floor. But Thumpback wrestles his way free from King Shark's grip and swings his anchor at him, but King Shark swims out of the way.
King Shark: You Missed.
Thumpback: Did I?
King Shark looks down as sees that the chain of the anchor is wrapped around his foot and the anchor is still falling down. Before he could flee, King Shark is pulled down with the Anchor to the ocean floor and slams into the sand. Thump swims down and starts punching King Shark with his fist, drawing a bit of blood before the mutant shark's damaged skin heals back up. Thumpback was just about to land another punch when King Shark catches his arm and bites him on the arm. Thumpback groans and he swings back and forth to shake off the mutant shark from his arm, but his bit is too strong for him to shake. Thumpback takes out a starfish and jabs it into the eye of King Shark, forcing him to release his grip.
As King Shark swims up a little, Thumpback grabs his anchor chain and dives upwards and chomps down onto the side of King Shark with his massive jaws. Though his attack did draw some blood, King Shark puts his hands into the giant Skylanders mouth and forcefully pulls them open, right when he breaches into the air and slams back into the ocean. By the time Thumpback recovered, King Shark was already swimming at him again and headbutt him as they glide through the water. Thumpback tries punching and slamming his anchor him, but his attacks don't stop King Shark from his assault. When they get closer to the beach, King Shark punches Thumback again, and sends him flying back onto the beach. King Shark turns around swims away from the beach, but he then hit by a heavy object, which is revealed to be Thumpback's anchor. The chain wraps around the mutant shark, and the giant Skylander begins pulling him backwards by the chain until he is back on the beach with him.
Thumpback: I ain't done with you yet.
King Shark sees a nearby rock, lifts it up and throws it at his opponent, but Thumpback opens his mouth and catches it in his mouth. After he spits out the rock he grans two starfish in each of his hands and throws them, but King Shark blocks the attack by putting his arms in front of him. When he puts his arms down he sees that Thumpback has jumped into the air and is now right above him. Before he can flee, Thumpback comes down on top of him in a full force bell flop, causing a shockwave throughout the sand.
As the dust clears, Thumpbacks lays in the middle of the crater he just created. But then he is lifted up by King Shark, who survived the flop with bruises that start to heal. He then throws the Giant Skylander with all his might and he is flung through the air and lands on his back. As Thumpback gets to his feet, he sees the mutant Shark charging at him on all for legs. As King Shark pursues closer to him, Thumpback starts swinging his anchor around repeatedly until it his nothing but a blur. As the Mutant Shark leaps forwards, Thumpback swings the anchor at full force, slamming into him and launching King Shark straight high into the sky, and then descend back down into the water. Thumpback yanks on his anchor chain, pulling King Shark straight out of the water, allowing the Skylander to punch him in the face and sends him flying back, knocking out some of his teeth.
Thumpback: How does my anchor taste!
King Shark: Like rocks, here try some.
King Shark grabs, lifts, and throws a large rock right at the giant Skylander. Thumpback slides on his belly across the sand with his mouth wide open and bites the rock to pieces. He continues to slide forward, spraying water and starfish at the mutant shark to blind him, until he rams into King Shark's stomach and his sharp teeth dig into its opponent's flesh. King Shark slams his feet firmly onto the ground to stop himself and Thumpback from moving, and then slams the giant Skylander onto the ground. He punches him several times in the face before Thumpback defends himself with his anchor, whacking King Shark across the head with it.
Before King Shark could react, Thumpback grabs the chain of his anchor, and wraps it around the mutant Shark's throat, and proceeds to choke him. Although King Shark attempted to free himself by punching backwards at Thumpback and grabbing his face, Thumpback held onto the chains firmly and refused to let go as King Shark continued struggling to free himself. As he struggles, King Shark is able to move his head and mouth underneath the chain, and gets mouth around the chain of the Anchor. With a chomp of his teeth, King Shark bites through the chain, freeing himself, and elbows Thumpback in the chest to push him away. As King Shark catches his breath, Thumpback looks at what is left of his weapon.
Thumpback: That was my favorite Anchor, you are gonna pay for that.
Thumpback pulls out four starfish shuriken, two in each massive hand, and throws them at King Shark. Two slice of his arms and other slice off his feet, making King Shark limbless and causing him to fall over on his knees. Thumpback then grabs the end of his anchor and leaps into the air, ready to bring the anchor down on the mutant shark. But right before the anchor hits its target, King Shark opens his mouth and catches the anchor in his mouth. Thumpback tries to pull it out, but King Shark has a firm grip on it. All the while, the mutant shark's limbs are starting to grow back. With a mighty bite, King Shark chomps down onto the anchor, shattering it into several pieces of metal. As Thumpback backs away in shock, King Shark lunges at him and grabs the giant Skylander by his arms.
King Shark: Chomp time.
King Shark turns Thumpback around puts him in an arm lock. He then sinks his claws into the giant Skylander's shoulders, which forces him to kneel. He then bites at the head of Thumpback, tearing off his skull and eating the his brain and eyes all at once, and also leaving a giant hole in his head. He takes another bite at the head up, tearing off the upper half until only the lower jaw is left. As the headless corpse of Thumpback fall to the sand, King Shark roars into the air before he leaps back into the water and swims off.
Results[]
Boomstick: Well, that's one way to take a bite of crime, or heroism for that matter.
Wiz: With The Thumpback's brute strength and King Shark's regenerative properties, this truly felt like a fight between an unstoppable force and an immovable object.
Boomstick: Sure Thumpback could smashes through giant monsters and pull small island, King Shark has gone toe to toe with beings that lift massive submarines out of the water and referred to as kings. So King Shark definitely held the upper hand in the strength department.
Wiz: And while Thumpback had the wider arsenal at his disposal, these were mainly what he relied on in battle, while King Shark had his strength and ferocity to aid him in all his brawls, which we have to admit, has been in a lot more than Thumpback.
Boomstick: Then there was King Shark's healing factor that allowed him survive injuries no mortal man could withstand, and nothing Thumpback has ever experienced before.
Wiz: Ultimately, King Shark's immunity to being stabbed, impaled, ripped apart, and being beaten by blunt force from both focused and multiple sources means Thumpback just didn't have the options available to take King Shark out with his healing factor always coming to his aid.
Boomstick: I guess Thumpback is sleeping with the fishes now, the dead one.
Wiz: The winner is King Shark.
