Description[]
We have two warriors in blue who live in an apocalyptic world fight to the death, but only one will prevail, who will it be? Read to find out!
Intro[]
Wiz: When the apocalypse came, a warrior in blue saved the day
Boomstick: In these two universes they did, which means if there was an apocalypse in our world we would be screwed
Wiz: One of these heros is the sole survivor, the only survivor of vault 111
Boomstick: And link! Breath of the wild link to be excact! The silent boy in blue who stopped calamity Gannon! He’s wiz and I’m Boomstick!
Wiz: And it’s our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win, a death battle!
The Sole survivor[]
Wiz: It was just any other day, until the bombs started falling. The sole survivor and their family were forced into vault 111 where they were cryogenically frozen.
Game boy next door appears from a trap door in the floor
Game boy next door: Just to be clear we will be using the male version of the sole survivor
Game boy next door closes the trap door and disappears
Boomstick: Anyways after an unknown period of time, the sole survivor awakes to see his wife shot and family kidnapped.
Wiz: The sole survivor went back to sleep and woke up even later before leaving the vault. He would become the sole survivor.
Boomstick: The sole survivor is a veteran of war which means he’s experienced in war techniques and guns. It seems that the sole survivor can pretty much master any weapon, even if it’s unknown to them, because I’m pretty sure they didn’t have laser guns, but survivor was able to master its use within seconds.
Wiz: Speaking of which, the sole survivor has a wide list of weapons, from pistols and shotguns to tire irons and laser guns. The survivor can pretty much use anything he wants, he even has some very powerful weapons, like the gamma gun which shoots a high amount of radiation to the person it’s being shot at. In case you didn’t know, a high amount of radiation can be deadly to the human body
Boomstick: Unless you’re the sole survivor, because he’s been shown to take high amounts of radiation like it’s no problem, they can even swim in rivers full of radiation and take it like a champ.
Wiz: Pretty much all of the sole survivors arsenal can be powerful enough to destroy limbs or even heads. Which means that his weaponry can not only destroy skin and muscle, but also bone, he also has laser weapons that can instantly vaporize humans.
Boomstick: The sole survivor has been shown to be able to carry over 500 pounds, though their maximum is 500 pounds, anything over would make them encumbered and slow.
Wiz: Oh and we aren’t done with weapons, because this guy has a lot of them, so let’s rapid fire through them. He has the acid soaker, a water gun transformed into an acid shooter, He has a mini gun which is what it is, He has multiple fire based weapons such as the flamer and the shishkebab, electricity weapons like the Tesla rifle, he has the sword of wonders which ignores 30% of the targets damage resistance, he has the cryolater which can freeze enemies solid, he has explosives like grenades and landmines, and poison weapons like Kremvh's Tooth,
Boomstick: He can go invisible with the stealth boy, make enemies bleed with the pickmans blade, can make enemies go into a frenzy with the HalluciGen gas grenades, and don’t even get us started on the syringer and all the syringes in can fire. With the pax syringe they can make enemies go non-hostile for a bit, the yellow belly syringe can make enemies for a short period of time, can reduce a targets damage resistance for a short period of time with the endangerol syringe, can paralyze enemies for a very short period of time with the lock joint syringe, can deal damage over time for a short period of time with the radscorpion poison syringe, and finally, can make enemies believe he has vanished for a short of period of time with the mind cloud syringe.
Wiz: Finally there’s the fat man, a mini nuke launcher capable of blowing up enemies or even himself
Boomstick: Awesome!
Wiz: Well the obvious problem with these Weapons is that he doesn’t have unlimited ammo, so he could run out, but he still has a wide arsenal of deadly and useful weapons. He can also eat food or use stimpacks to heal himself. Various foods can boost stats like strength for a short period of time
Boomstick: Who know food was so powerful? Now let’s get to feats, because he can’t only be guns.
Wiz: The sole survivor is a master of stealth, even being able to sneak past the largest of creatures, and they are stealthy enough not to trigger landmines or floor traps, he’s also very smart, being able to craft and completely make new items, he also seems to be smart enough to hack computers, even the most advanced of computers.
Boomstick: Speaking of deathclaws, he’s capable of harming said creatures with just his bare fists! That’s awesome!
Wiz: The survivor is also surprisingly durable, being able to tank explosions, bullets, and even attacks from giant monsters even when he has little to no armor on.
Boomstick: Now it’s time for two of the sole survivors most powerful weapons, V.A.T.S and the power armor
Wiz: Vault assisted targeting system, or V.A.T.S is a targeting tool that is used for pinpoint accuracy, most of the time. You just turn it on, time slows, and you aim. With V.A.T.S, the sole survivor can attack certain limbs to deal certain damage, he can even destroy entire limbs with this!
Boomstick: And last but definitely not least! We have the power armor! A type of armor used to protect its wearer! It lets you become more durable! It lets you carry more! And it has a jetpack! It can also survive a fall from any height!
Wiz: The problem with the power armor is that pieces can be broken off and it does take a power core to run.
Boomstick: Because of all of his equipment and his awesome strength and durability, the sole survivor is the hero of the wasteland!
Link[]
Wiz: The four champions, mipha, urbosa, revali, and daruk were the four people assigned the guard princess Zelda, but there was one knight who would always be by her side, Link.
Boomstick: Link was a silent type, wearing the blue champions tunic and he was always by the princesses side. Although one day calamity Gannon attacked and link was put into a coma, being stored in a little room to keep him alive.
Wiz: 100 years later he awoke, determined to fight calamity Gannon.
Boomstick: Breath of the wild link is basically your ordinary link, with zelda and all of that. He’s able to scale almost any surface, essentially being a master climber, but a big weakness of his is that he has a limited amount of stamina.
Wiz: Link can use almost anything as a weapon, rusty swords? Sledgehammers? Even sticks? He’s used those as weapons at some point. He also has access to bows and arrows, he has a lot of bows in his inventory, but his arrows are arguably more impressive.
Boomstick: He has ice and fire arrows, capable of freezing enemies and setting enemies on fire respectively. He has bomb arrows which blow up in your face, shock arrows which shock the enemy, literally, and ancient arrows, capable of greatly harming ancient guardians.
Wiz: Each arrow is powerful in its own way, and that’s not the only thing in links arsenal. Link also has access to the Sheikah slate, which can stop metal objects in place for a while, it can make Bombs to blow up stuff, and can use magnets to move metal objects. Food is also a big help to him.
Boomstick: What’s with video games and using food to heal?
Wiz: Link can eat various foods to regain health, he can also eat various cooked foods to either gain extra health, more stamina, or to gain better cold or heat resistance temporarily.
Boomstick: And now the most powerful weapon in links arsenal, the blade of evils bane, THE MASTER SWORD!
Wiz: The master sword was forged to destroy gannondorf, and it does exactly that, as link uses it to deal great damage to calamity Gannon, but the problem with the sword is that it needs to charge.
Boomstick: It’s kind of funny to think that the master sword has a battery, but like the master sword, all of links swords and bows can break, except the master sword because it regenerates. Link also has the hyrule shield which can block basically any attack
Wiz: Link has been shown to be able to do flurry rushes, where he dodges an attack and attacks at the opponent quickly, he’s even been fast enough to dodge laser beams!
Boomstick: He also has bullet time where if he aims a bow in the air, time slows, it’s even been said by daruk that link perception of the world slows down or something!
Wiz: Anyways, link was able to tank hits from calamity Gannon, and he saved the princess! Truly breath of the wild link is a hero for the ages!
Pre-Fight[]
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set! Let’s end this debate once and for all!
Boomstick: It’s time for a death battle!
Fight[]
Dogmeat and the sole survivor were wandering the wasteland, looking for someone or something.
Meanwhile zelda and her knight link were wandering the wasteland, they had no idea how they got there, but they needed a way to get back to hyrule
Dogmeat started barking suddenly.
”What’s going on boy?” The survivor asks dogmeat
Link stops Zelda as he hears barking. He slowly moves forward while hold an arm in front of the princess to protect her.
The sole survivor sees some figures in the distance, “that must be what he's barking at” he thought.
As the two figures got closer to the survivor link pulled a bow out and aimed it at the survivor.
The survivor saw link pull a bow on him since link was getting closer, so the survivor pulled a 9mm pistol out and aimed it at link.
Get away now or I will shoot you!
—>Hold on, let’s just put the bow down(charm, hard)

If it’s a fight you want it’s a fight you’ll get!(Fight)
”Put the bow down please and let’s talk about this”
The charm failed and link believed the survivor was going to attack the princess, so he fired an arrow at the survivor.
”LINK! NO!” Zelda yelled as link fired.
FIGHT!
The survivor quickly dodged before shooting at link three times.
Link dodged the first two bullets but was hit by the third and stumbled backwards.
The sole survivor took out a tire iron and ran towards link, he hit link a few times before he kicked link in the gut.
Link held his stomach in pain before quickly retaliating by slashing at the sole survivor a few times with his knight sword(not the master sword) before Link and the survivors weapons clashed together.
Zelda stood there in shock, but when the tire iron and knight sword clashed she quickly ran away, donkeys ran away too.
Link tried slashing at the sole survivors gut, it worked and the sole survivor dropped the tire iron and clutched his stomach in pain. Link then tried to go in for the kill only to be met with a punch to the face. Link stumbled backwards and the sole survivor pulled out a shotgun.
The sole survivor fired two shots at link and both shots hit him. Link fell to one knee in pain as blood poured from his chest.
”Don’t mess with me.” The sole survivor said as he walked over to the fallen link while pulling out the shishkebab.
He raised it over his head and was about to strike, but before he could do that, link slashed upwards with his sword and left a huge gash across the survivors chest. The survivor stumbled backwards before he charged fourth in pure rage. He swung his shishkebab but link dodged.
Link then unleashed a flurry of attacks on the survivor before he could even react. The survivor was heavily injured at this point but he persisted.
The survivor used a stimpack to heal himself before he charged at link again.
Link picked up on this strategy and moved out of the way, but the sole survivor turned to link and stabbed him with the shishkebab. Link held the stab wound in pain before eating some food to heal.
While link was healing, the sole survivor pulled out the syringer and fired the endangerol syringe at link.
Link was hit and his durability dropped a bit. The sole survivor used this to his advantage and pulled out the minigun before firing it at Link.
Link was able to dodge the first few bullets, but he was quickly getting hit over and over again, once the minigun needed to cool off, link fell to the ground and the endangerol syringe wore off.
Just before the sole survivor was about the stab link with the sword of wonders and end the fight, link quickly attacked once again with the knight sword, the survivor was hit, but the sword broke.
The survivor tried to attack again, but link shielded with the hyrule shield. The survivor tried again and again to break it but nothing worked, finally the survivor got tired. Link pulled out the master sword, stood up, and started slashing at the survivor.
Eventually, the survivor had an opportunity to run away, so he did while using a stimpack to heal.
The survivor hid in a shack in the middle of nowhere and found a suit of power armor, he just came up with a plan.
Meanwhile, link was trying to find the survivor, when he eventually came across the shack. Link opened the door to find……
A single land mine on the floor?
Link smiled as he knew he wasn’t falling for that.
Except he already fell into the trap.
The sole survivor was in the power armor and he snuck behind link, before he shoved link into the land mine.
Link was surprised but it was too late, link fell into the mine and it exploded in his face, it sent him flying through the roof of the shack, and the sole survivor used his jetpack to fly after him.
When link reached as high as he could go, the survivor grabbed link and started punching him, they were still in midair due to the jetpack.
The sole survivor kept flying higher and higher until the jetpack was almost out of fuel. He then let go of link and used V.A.T.S and a shotgun to aim at both of links legs.
The two bullets hit and links legs were destroyed.
The survivor fell with link but used his jetpack to catch up to him mid fall, he then used the sword of wonders to stab link through the stomach.
The two kept falling and falling until they both hit the ground, the impact left a crater.
The survivor survived due to the power armor, but Link?
Link was a bloody mess, due to the fall all his remaining bones were shattered, and the stab from the sword of wonders made a huge gash across his torso.
The survivor took off the power armor and looked at the dying link.
”I’m, sorry.” He muttered before using a knife to stab link in the head, ending the knight.
K.O!
Zelda found the bloody body of link and broke down on the floor, crying.
Dogmeat and the sole survivor continued wandering the wasteland.
Conclusion[]
Boomstick: *Sniff* Link didn’t deserve to go like this.
Wiz: This was a tricky one to figure out, both link and the survivor had many ways to win this fight, but the survivor just had link beat.
Boomstick: Link and the survivor were equal in experience, although it could be argued the survivor was more experienced, and yes, link was faster, stronger, and more durable, but the sole survivor just had too many tricks up his sleeve.
Wiz: For starters, Link needed his weapons to attack, while the survivor has been shown to be effective in hand to hand combat, and only links weapons could break.
Boomstick: The sole survivor had a lot of ways to counter link. Link has Better durability? The sole survivor had the endangerol syringe and the sword of wonders. Link is stronger? Like we said link needed his weapons and the power armor gave a big boost to durability. And the fact the sole survivor was smarter didn’t help link.
Wiz: And with V.A.T.S the sole survivor could cripple or destroy links limbs which would put him at a disadvantage.
Boomstick: The survivor had a lot of ways to take this, he could freeze link solid, make him flee them kill him, stealth kill him, or just use brute force.
Wiz: Despite link looking like the obvious winner, the sole survivor had a lot of ways to win this, the sole survivor was just too smart and had a bigger arsenal and set of skills.
Boomstick: Looks like links sole is in the afterlife now
The winner is the sole survivor
Wiz: The winner is the sole survivor!
