The Visitor is a species of alien space slugs, that come from the series of the same name. While a whole species exists, all are shown to be able to do the same things, making them all comparable.

Not much is known about Visitors, they show up and kill other species, especially humans, possibly due to needing to eat, or simply wanting to kill all life on Earth. No matter the reason, these space slugs have caused many deaths to residents of Earth, and while only a few games have you play as them, it is safe to assume many more are on Earth, doing similar things. All Visitors share the same base powers and capabilities.
