Jonathan Ohnn, also known as the The Spot, is a Marvel Comics supervillain who is the nemesis of Spider-Man and Daredevil.

    Jonathan Ohnn, a divorced MIT grad and Kingpin employee, who was assigned to artificially mimic the powers of the vigilante Cloak. He succeeded in creating a solid black circular portal, but the power drain caused a blackout, destabilizing the portal. Ohnn took the opportunity to step through, but the shock of the transition caused him to pass out in a different dimension. A dimension with light and darkness, Ohnn discovered the power of portable space portals. He awoke with black spots covering his body, and soon after spiraled down a path of villainy, becoming the Spot.

    Powers & Abilities[]

    • Teleportation: The spots on Ohnn's skin can transport things or people to another area by way of passing through the Spotted Dimension and coming out in another 'spot'. Ohnn can also teleport himself or extend parts of his own body over various distances as defined by his spots. He has the ability to move the spots all over his body or take them off and place them somewhere else. The spots can even be suspended in mid-air.
    • Super Speed: Ohnn's spots defy the laws of physics and have no distance limitation. He also emerges instantaneously from one spot to the other without a delay.
    • Dimensional Travel: Ohnn's is capable of accessing other dimensions and universes through his spots. Examples being the Negative Zone and the Darkforce Dimension.
    • Immortality: Ohnn claims to possess a form of immortality, being capable of speech even after having been decapitated. If his physical body is fatally-wounded it will disintegrate and reconsitute itself in the Spotted Dimension. Could be the explanation of how he is resurrected after death.
    • Intelligence: Ohnn was a capable scientist specializing in physics.

    • Can overwhelm and speed blitz Spider-Man with his spots
    • Healed after getting his neck broken
    • Healed after being stabbed in the back by Wolverine
    • Turned himself into a singular spot and teleported away
    • The Spots he makes can be pulled inwards until they cease to exist. He can make them appear and re-appear as much as he likes.
    • His Spot's defy the laws of physics
    • Went toe to toe with the Winter Soilder
    • His spots move on their own aswell, and protect The Spot from being hit.
    • Can duplicate limbs through the power of his spots
    • Opened a portal to the Negative Zone
    • Teleported an armored car to Switzerland
    • Rapid attacks bypass Spider-Man's Spider-Sense
    • Threw Spider-Man so far, he cracked the wall they landed into.
    • Blocks Spider-Man's webbing, and has enough time to grab several of his spots to teleport the webbing elsewhere.
    • Spidey tried to sneak attack him, but Spot saw him coming, and anticipated Spiderman's punch, "blocking" it with one of the spots in his head.
    • Generated a spot on a man's chest and snaps his neck before he could react
    • Rapidly killed several armed guards through a portal blitz
    • Blitzed Captain Marvel & made her bleed
    • Survives a blast from Captain Marvel
    • Beats up Jessica Jones and moves at FTE(faster than the eye) speeds.

    • He can summon multiple new limbs from his spots to help him in combat.
    • Survived or resurrected after being killed by Tombstone, Elektra, Wolverine, and Carnage

    Weaknesses[]

    • Spot can not throw an unlimited number of space warps, because he primarily draws on the ones on his own body or dark energy from his surroundings.
    • Spider-Man defeated Spot when his body was mostly white. In some iterations, he's depicted as clumsy when using his powers, giving his enemies an advantage over him.
    • Can sometimes be quite insane and emotionless, while some versions of his character are goofy and incompetent with a sinister side for villainy
    • One Wrong move with those space warps would end up accidentally hurting himself, Especially in the nuts.
