The Radiance was a Higher Being within the Hollow Nest, who created The Moth Tribe with her light, to which they worshipped her for years until The Pale King came and expanded the minds of bugs within the Hallow Nest, resulting in them turning their backs to her, beginning to forget her. She then began appearing in the dreams of bugs, eventually causing the infection.
