The Janitor VS Springtrap is a What-If? Death Battle by DiAma1.
Note that this episode will focus on Springtrap primarily from the video games universe, not the books.
Interlude[]
Wiz: Animatronics. For some, they're the source of nostalgic memories at pizza parlors. For others, they're the source of nightmares.
Boomstick: Like Willy's Wonderland, full of haunted animatronics defeated by the Janitor.
Wiz: And Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, home of a curse started by William Afton, the Springtrap.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skill to see who would win a Death Battle!
The Janitor[]
Wiz: There was once a group of Satanic cannibal serial killers lead by a man named Jerry Robert Willis who inhabited a pizzeria called Will'y Wonderland.
Boomstick: Well, we're already off to a weird start. Willis and his partners lured families into a special room called the "Super Happy Fun Room" where they killed and ate their victims. Soon enough, they were caught, and the police cornered them into this... "Super Happy Fun Room".
Wiz: There they all committed a Satanic ritual suicide and transferred their souls into the animatronics that inhabited the pizzeria: Willy Weasel, Siren Sara, Tito Turtle, Arty Alligator, Cammy Chameleon, Knighty Knight, Gus Gorilla, and Ozzie Ostrich. These animatronics blackmailed the people of the town, agreeing that if they gave them victims, they would leave the townspeople alone.
Boomstick: This is where Nicholas Cage- I mean the Janitor comes in. A mute traveler with unknown goals, he was tricked into spending the night in Willy's Wonderland as a sacrifice under the guise of cleaning the place up. Only, while the animatronics thought that the Janitor was stuck in there with them, it was the other way around. Turns out, the Janitor was an absolute badass and was capable of killing every single animatronic with ease.
Wiz: He's capable of throwing hands with Gus Gorilla, who can crack mirrors and dent walls.
Boomstick: He was also able to throw Gus, showing that he has incredible lifting strength.
Wiz: He was able to easily overpower Knighty Knight, who was strong enough to impale somebody on his blunt sword. He then used that same sword to decapitate him!
Boomstick: He is strong enough to rip open and break Arty Alligator's jaw, and Arty's bite was strong enough to tear people apart.
Wiz: He also was able to floor Siren Sara and Tito Turtle in one hit each, and later snapped Siren Sara's neck with just his thighs.
Boomstick: I wouldn't mind Nicholas Cage killing me with his thighs, if you know what I mean.
Wiz: ... Excuse me?
Boomstick: Moving on! He twisted Cammy Chameleon's head around 360 degrees, and is able to kick open doors that are locked and chained shut.
Wiz: Finally, he was able to kill Willy the Weasel, and survived being thrown across a room by him. For reference, another one of Willy's swipes was able to rip a woman in half!
Boomstick: As for speed, he can easily punch Siren Sara even though she was able to easily dodge punches from others, and was able to dodge attacks from Ozzie Ostrich.
Wiz: And if he gets hurt, he can easily patch himself together with duct tape.
Boomstick: He has one main motivator though: Punch soda. This stuff packs a ton of caffeine, and he drinks a can every single hour! It keeps him going and allows him to perform all of his feats. It's like a super-soldier juice!
Wiz: Of course he isn't perfect, and if caught by surprise he can be hurt, like when he was ambushed by Gus Gorilla or when he was thrown across the room by Willy.
Boomstick: Still, this is one guy I wouldn't want to be on my bad side.
The Janitor repeatedly slams Willy's head with a can of Punch and a broom stick, sending oil flying everywhere, before ripping it off.
Springtrap[]
Wiz: In 1983, William Afton and Henry Emily decided to create a pizza restaurant called Fredbear's Family Diner.
Boomstick: Only problem was, William had this odd hobby of killing children. He also had another odd hobby of building killer robots designed to also kill children. I think this guy has issues.
Wiz: Long, long, LONG story short, William lost two of his children to his own robots, and that pushed him even more over the edge. He began a killing spree at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, the successor to Fredbear's. He lured children into the backroom where the cameras couldn't see, and stuffed their bodies into animatronics.
Boomstick: Well, the spirits of the poor kids decided to get their revenge, and chased Afton to the same backroom where they were killed. They cornered him, and he put on a springlock animatronic suit to protect himself. Only issue is, springlock suits are incredibly sensitive, and the suit crushed him to death with its mechanical parts.
Wiz: His soul possessed the animatronic suit with his body still inside, letting him be reborn as Springtrap.
Boomstick: Now, just because he's crazy doesn't mean he's not smart. He was a genius capable of creating complex robots and advanced plans for killing his victims.
Wiz: As a human he was able to dismantle animatronics with his bare hands, and with his robotic body, he became way stronger than before.
Boomstick: He's incredibly fast, and can travel through vents faster than the human eye can track.
Wiz: He also can control electronics, and is able to make audio, camera, and ventilation systems malfunction. Not to mention his power to create hallucinations, such as the Phantom Animatronics.
Boomstick: He also has immortality. Now, that may seem like a good thing, but it causes him to suffer for all of eternity since he is in constant pain.
Wiz: His body can be destroyed though, and if it burns it will kill his physical form.
Boomstick: Even with these weaknesses, this zombie-cyborg-rabbit thing is one hell of a killer.
Springtrap: It is not your flesh that sustains me... it is your fear!
Intermission[]
Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set, and we've run the data through all possibilities!
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
Death Battle[]
The Janitor was seen mopping the floor in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. He dipped the mop into the bucket and began to swing it back and forth against the ground. Suddenly, a vent across the room began to shake and make noises. Without warning, Springtrap climbed out of it.
The Janitor grabbed his mop and snapped it in half over his knee, getting into a battle-ready position. Springtrap jumped forward and punched the Janitor in the face, sending him reeling back. The Janitor responded by stabbing his broken stick towards Springtrap, missing, but hitting him with a second swing. He followed up with a kick to Springtrap's groin and then a knee to the stomach which made Afton bend over in pain. The Janitor then elbowed downward onto the top of his foe's head, slamming him to the ground.
On the ground, Springtrap swung at the Janitor's legs, dragging him down to. He then jumped up and kicked him on the ground, sending him flying into a wall. The wall cracked, and the Janitor got up shakily. He had a single cut on his face. He then looked next to him and saw a sack of Punch soda. He grabbed one and drank it all, crushing the can in his fist. He threw the crushed can at Springtrap and followed up by slamming the sack into his head. Springtrap staggered backwards, but quickly gained his composure.
The Janitor began to walk towards Springtrap, but heard something behind him. He turned and saw Phantom Freddy, and he lunged at it but it disappeared and reappeared behind him again. The Janitor picked up his broken mop handle and swung it, slamming into Phantom Freddy. Phantom Freddy slammed into a wall and broke apart into pieces before disappearing and turning into shadows.
The Janitor turned back towards Springtrap, but saw Phantom Chica and Phantom Foxy next to him. He threw his mop handle at Chica, impaling it through the eye, and kicked Foxy in the chest, breaking it into pieces. He then swung at Springtrap who dodged the attack before grabbing the Janitor's arm.
Springtrap slammed his opponent into the ground, and swung him back around and into the wall. The Janitor got up and grabbed Springtrap by the face and slammed it into his knee. Blood and oil came from Springtrap's face, but he bit into his foe's arm.
Springtrap shook him and then grabbed his face, slamming him into the ground repeatedly. When the Janitor got up, he spit blood onto the ground and stared at Springtrap. He then jumped onto Springtrap's chest and kicked him with both feet. They both landed on the ground, panting.
They both got up and began trading blows, punching each other in the face and chest. Neither bothered to block, simply taking the blows. By the time they stopped, the Janitor was covered in bruises and had a black eye.
Springtrap lunged forwards at his enemy with his jaws open, aiming to bite out his frontal lobe. The Janitor caught his jaws in his hands and held them open. They strained against each other, but the Janitor began to spread open Springtrap's jaws. The bent farther and farther back, splitting farther than they should have. Suddenly with a crack, Springtrap's jaw broke.
The Janitor stuck his arm into Springtrap's exposed throat, ripping out cables and flesh. Springtrap fell to the ground, and the Janitor began to pummel his head. Blood and oil flew everywhere, covering his shirt and face. Finally, after Springtrap's head hung limp from a broken neck, the Janitor ripped it off with the spine still attached.
KO!
Results[]
Wiz: This battle was incredibly close, believe it or not. The Janitor and Springtrap were both capable of destroying animatronics with their bare hands, putting them at similar levels of strength.
Boomstick: While Springtrap had the advantage in speed and had the ability to create illusions, the battle ultimately came down to skill, which the Janitor simply had way more of.
Wiz: Springtrap was used to taking out foes that weren't able to fight back, while the Janitor was able to take out some incredibly powerful animatronics that fought hard.
Boomstick: Remember that the Janitor could survive hits from Knighty Knight and Willy, who were both able to rip people in half. Meanwhile Springtrap hasn't survived that kind of hit.
Wiz: And while Springtrap was functionally immortal, that only applied to his soul. His body could still be defeated and destroyed.
Boomstick: In the end, the Janitor cleaned things up.
Wiz: The winner is the Janitor.
