History[]
The Collector is an antagonist who sets deadly traps and collects people, often family members left alive after he slays their relatives. In the first movie, the Collector targets the Chase family's home after killing Gena and stuffing Larry. He captures, torments, and kills most family members, adding some to his "collection" through grotesque transformations. His gimmick is that he kills one by one. Arkin saves the youngest member, Hannah, and traps the Collector before escaping. However, the Collector survives by ambushing the ambulance carrying Arkin and adding him to his collection.
The sequel, "The Collection," The collector is the subject of a nation wide manhunt after the Collector kills several teenagers at a party and capturing Elena. With Arkin's help, a team of mercenaries attempt to rescue Elena but only Arkin and a few others survive. They become mutilated by the traps, murderous patients, dogs, and the Collector's favourite, a young girl named Abby.
The Collector imprisons Arkin in a red trunk again until Arkin escapes, defeats the Collector, and leaves him to burn in a fire. At the end of "The Collection", Arkin confronts the Collector at his home in casual attire. He threatens to torture and locks him in a red trunk, keeping his further fate uncertain.
