The Cloverfield Monster, sometimes known as Clover and officially designated in-universe as the Large Scale Aggressor (LSA), is the main antagonist and giant monster in the 2008 horror movie, Cloverfield, and a major (though mostly unseen) antagonist in The Cloverfield Paradox.

A space-based particle accelerator malfunctions in a different universe causing a rift in the space-time continuum, connecting dimensions and sending the destructive force on the main dimension's Earth. The monster surfaces in 2008, wreaking havoc in New York City, where it destroys a large portion of Manhattan and landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. The creature's origins tie to Tagruato Corporation's deep-sea drilling and its link to Seabed's Nectar.
