- Is one of the strongest animatronics in the entire series by virtue of sheer size
- Despite it's large size, it was able to sneak into the Pizzaplex and steal parts without being detected
- Can bust open manhole covers
- Comparable to DJ Music Man who can toss several arcade machines at once like they're nothing
- Assimilated parts of Bonnie, Chica, Circus Baby, The Marionette, as well several endoskeletons into itself
- Was unaffected by the bright light produced from the Fazerblaster and the Faz Camera which is able briefly stun the Glamrock animatronics and can even cause seizures, blindness and semi-paralysis if shot directly at the eyes
- Overpowered and yanked Burntrap into the ceiling

- From the Five Nights at Freddy's Encyclopedia, The Blob is actually not its canon name and is instead pointed at as being Tangle
- This is also supported by files where it is referred as Tangle more than The Blob
- While the Encyclopedia calls it The Blob, it also states that the name, The Blob is Non-Canon
- Until further confirmation it's best to refer this page as both Tangle and The Blob
