Description[]

Interlude[]

Wiz: Adventure. It's something that appeals to all of us. In video games, it often takes the form of exploring dangerous lands and fighting powerful enemies.

Boomstick: But when it comes to beating the shit out of everyone with the most badass weapons you can get, nobody does it better than these two!

Wiz: The Terrarian, the master digger, fighter, explorer, and builder.

Boomstick: And the Dragonborn, Tamriel's ultimate dragon slayer.

Wiz: I'm Wizard and he's Boomstick, and it's our job to analyze their weapons, armour, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!

Trivia[]

  • The connections between the Terrarian and the Dragonborn are that they are the customizable protagonists of open world video games. Both explore lands full of various enemies which they defeat on a regular basis. Both have extremely large and diverse arsenals of weapons, magic, and other equipment that effectively make them demigods due to how powerful they are. Both have defeated enemies that possess cosmic levels of power (the Moon Lord and Alduin, respectively). Both become stronger by collecting the souls of slain enemies (many of the Terrarian's equipment are crafted from various types of souls, while the Dragonborn absorbs dragon souls to learn dragon shouts). Both have committed numerous morally questionable acts, to the point where they can be considered antiheroes, if not outright villains. Both began their journeys with a mentor of sorts (the Guide and Ralof/Hadvar, respectively). Both of their games were released in 2011, and both are frequently compared to similar games that were also released that year (Minecraft and Dark Souls, respectively).
  • If this Death Battle had a track, it would be "Voice of the Earth". The title references the Dragonborn's dragon shouts, which are sometimes referred to as "the voice", and the Terrarian's association with the earth and digging.
    • The cover would depict a glowing Skyrim logo with the silhouette of a Terraria forest in the foreground.
