Team Sonic vs Team Deku

Team Sonic vs Team Deku is an episode of TheDanWoman2's DEATH BATTLE! Series, featuring Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails, Knuckles the Echidna, Amy Rose, E-102 Gamma, and Big the Cat from the Sonic the Hedgehog series and Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugou, Tenya Iida, Ochaco Uraraka, Shoto Todoroki, and Minoru Mineta from the My Hero Academia series in a battle between iconic teams of heroes.

Intro

Wiz: Team Sonic, Station Square's animal saviors!

Boomstick: Team Deku, Mustafa's heroes in training!

Wiz: While there have been many teams of heroes, neither have matched the iconic status of these two well known groups.

Boomstick: So it's only appropriate we determine who will win between them! He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!

Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... and Death Battle!

Team Sonic

Wiz: Many years ago, on the floating island in the sky known as Angel Island, an evil water god known as Chaos has gone rogue and attempted to destroy the world, annihilating all of the island's inhabitants... all but one.

Boomstick: Yeah, a young echnida girl named Tikal managed to survive Chaos' echnida genocide and was able to seal him away inside of the Master Emerald, a giant and powerful gem with a shitton of power.

Wiz: Many years later, the evil Doctor Eggman learns about this event while seeking new ways to permanently take his greatest enemies out. So he sets out to shatter the Master Emerald, which would unleash Chaos onto the world, and after successfully doing so, as well as tricking it's guardian into thinking he was the good guy, he would use the god in order to enact his plans of world domination.

Boomstick: However, there was one major problem. A certain someone that we all know and love to hate ended up staying in his way once again, but this time... he wasn't alone. This group was none other then... Team Sonic! Really creative name there.

Wiz: To get started with covering this diverse set of combatants, it's only fitting we talk about there leader first, that being... well, Sonic the Hedgehog.

Boomstick: Wait, what? Sonic is the leader of Team Sonic? Who could've seen that coming?!

Wiz: Anyway, Sonic is an easygoing and cocky hedgehog, who is the main enemy of Eggman and the various foes he has encountered over the years. To fight off said enemies, he comes to battle with many different techniques and items. With his most iconic being the homing attack, an attack that causes Sonic to lock onto an opponent and hit him with a dash.

Boomstick: Speaking of, that's another one of his most iconic move, the spin dash! Where he curls up into a ball and starts rolling at high speeds, with enough power to destroy robots and metal walls with ease! He also wears the Light Shoes, which give him the ability to perform a light speed dash on a trail of rings... not sure how that works, but sure, why not. This is the same world that has hedgehogs fight robot armies, I can take some liberties here.

Wiz: He, as well as other characters such as Tails and Knuckles, can also use the powers of various shields he comes across via item containers. The fire shield giving full invincibility from fire based attacks and the bubble shield grants him the ability to swim and use the Bound Jump, where he spin dashes off a surface like a floor or wall and bounces right back out of them.

Wiz: Moving right along, we have the next member of the team and sidekick to Sonic, Tails! After a chance encounter with the blue hedgehog, the two would quickly become very close friends, almost considering themselves brothers in a way. Throughout his own adventures, Tails has shown to be capable of much of the same abilities as Sonic, such as the homing attack and spin dash. However, he has also shown off a vast arsenal.

Boomstick: Yeah, such as his massive array of bombs! Explosives of all different types! You've got your typical bombs, remote control bombs, big bombs, small bombs, and remote detonated bombs to name just a few.

Wiz: He also carried a Mega Man-esque arm cannon, bots that can bring up a force field and heal him, and he even created his own bi-plane! All only at the age of 8!

Boomstick: Holy shit! Now that's one clever fox!

Wiz: The next combatant is none other than the red echi-

Boomstick: Wiz, wait! Before we continue, I have to do something...

(Boomstick walks off and the music stops for a moment, before he comes back and a different track)

Wiz: ...Really? You interrupted the analysis for this?

Boomstick: It's practically law that we play a Knuckles rap song while we talk about him! We already did it for his last episode where he fought the funny monkey, so I don't see why we wouldn't here.

Wiz: But that was... never mind. Anyway, our next combatant is the red echnida, Knuckles. The last remaining member of the Knuckles, except not really because Tikal is also alive but whatever, and the guardian of the Master Emerald. He primarily fights using his... well, fists and he can also fly and climb up walls with his knuckles... okay we're done with the segment, can we stop the music now?

Both are teams of heroes from iconic series with a similar dynamic between some of the members:

1. Sonic/Deku: heroic main character and sorta leader
2. Tails/Iida: This is the only one with no real connection, it just vibes.
3. Knuckles/Bakugo: hotheaded rival
4. Amy/Uraraka: Pink love interests
5. Gamma/Todoroki: Characters who were born to an evil father who would later turn on them thanks to a main heroes influence
6. Big/Mineta: Purple guys that the fanbases don't like
