Description[]
One Punch Man vs Godzilla! These two psychic powerhouses are matched by few in their worlds, but when they go head-to-head, it'll take more than a finger twitch to end this bout! Will Tatsumaki's opponent merely be a speck of dust in the Terrible Tornado's path, or will the space monster prove just why he's one of the King of the Monster's most formidable foes?
Interlude[]
Wiz: In the world of combat, many opponents have abilities to go up and ultimately perish against. Brute power makes for obviously terrifying and deadly forces, skill can triumph over armies without trouble, and versatility can overpower even the mightiest of foes.
Boomstick: But the ones you really gotta watch out for are the ones that don't even need to bat their eye at you to kill you. The Psychics. Like Tatsumaki, the S-class hero, Tornado of Terror...
Wiz: And Spacegodzilla, the cosmic clone of the King of the Monsters.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick...
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skill to find out who would win a Death Battle.
Tatsumaki[]
Wiz: When it comes to decently advanced fictional modern societies, you would think that for them to advance as far as they do, they would have to live in a relatively peaceful world. Citizens go about their daily lives working and doing what your average person would do. But when it comes to this society, any day could be your last at any moment.
Boomstick: Why you might ask? Why, monsters of course!!! Yeah, for some reason, monsters just pop out of the blue left, right, 'n center every goddamn day. Sometimes the backstories are cool, but they're mostly really stupid, like eating too much crab, being obsessed with cars or just being really depressed.
Wiz: These creatures held power that far surpassed any natural disaster and posed as massive threats to humanity as a whole. So, just what do you do when the human race is faced with extinction at the hands of inhuman abominations? The only reasonable solution.
Boomstick: Make an entire organization that hires superheroes. I mean, duh. How else would you solve it? The military? Come on, that never works.
Wiz: Miraculously, this worked. Skilled and powerful superheroes with unique traits and abilities were brought into the light. Any monster that showed up would soon be eradicated by these saviors since it was literally a job. The more powerful the hero, the higher their status is in the association. C and B-classes are usually filled out with newcomers or people with semi-decent abilities, A-classes are reserved for the exceptionally powerful and are called upon to deal with the highly dangerous threats, but very few reach the top of this ranking system known as S-class.
Boomstick: And looking down on almost all of them is the second in ranking of S-class heroes. The Tornado of Terror, Tatsumaki.
Wiz: Like many comic book heroes you may be familiar with, Tatsumaki's life wasn't very pleasant. At a very young age, she was discovered to be an esper, a superhuman with immense psychic abilities. Of course, this caught the eyes of some pretty powerful people and thus was taken from her family for testing.
Boomstick: But it's okay. After years stuck being used as a lab rat, she got busted out by the number one superhero of all time, Blast! Who probably has a side job as a mailman cause he always has a box with him. Wonder who he's delivering it to.
Wiz: Boomstick, that's stupid. Why would the top ranking superhero deliver packages?
Boomstick: I dunno. Why else would he have shown up the other day?
Wiz: Wait, what?
Boomstick: Yeah, he passed by and was carrying that weird box around. Actually, it looked like that one that you have in your lab. He asked if I had one like that around.
Wiz: (worried) You... you didn't tell him about it, right? ...Please tell me you didn't.
Boomstick: Well of course I didn't. I mean who would want to give up free stuff? I don't care that it was a package mix up. If it arrives at the door, it's mine. Or yours in this case.
Wiz: Ok, phew. That could've ended horribly. Anyway, despite being an awe-inspiring superhero, Blast had some rather harsh advice to give. "When the time comes, don't expect anyone to save you."
Boomstick: Well, not very assuring advice but I guess he isn't really wrong. It was probably only chance that he happened to come across her and save her.
Wiz: With this ideology as part of her mindset, she soon took up the role of a hero among the ranks of this association, and with her powers, she was more than fit to rise to the top.
Boomstick: Yeah. Espers are ridiculously powerful, and Tatsumaki is just about the strongest one there is. So that means that she can do pretty much everything that other espers can do and then some.
Wiz: Her psychic abilities give her a surprising variety of abilities and moves, which she developed through years of hero work and fighting monsters. She can, of course, lift massive objects with telekinesis and launch them at high speeds or simply throw around her opponents like ragdolls, she can create shields and barriers to protect against enemy attacks, and true to her name, she is capable of creating powerful gusts of wind and debris and can conjure up massive twisters, tornadoes and hurricanes. She can use her psychic powers to encase her opponents in barriers and crush them inside, compact and crush them into a ball herself, snap their necks, freeze them in place, manipulate the intensity of gravity and its direction, create incredibly powerful earthquakes, fire pressurized bursts of air, push opponents back, or simply twist up her enemies into ribbons.
Boomstick: Her psychic powers let her lift and throw around ridiculously heavy objects, like boulders, buildings, trains, giant bullets, meteors and even giant monsters, and she can launch them with enough force that they explode on impact. They'd have to be thrown at least over 4000 miles per hour! Probably not a good idea to play catch with her then. A good way to lose your hand... or face.
Wiz: Her psychic powers aren't just used for throwing and crushing. Her abilities allow her to detect a person's presence even when they're hundreds of feet beneath her or are behind walls, spiral her psychic power around her to disrupt other esper's powers with Psychic Whirlwind, disperse energy projectiles, gather rubble in the shape of a person and imbue it with her psychic energy to fool opponents trying to detect her, or manipulate a person's chi or aura to hinder or outright kill them. The only method of resisting this spiritual attack is through a combination of physical prowess and extreme mental willpower to survive.
Boomstick: So, pretty much nobody can except a few people, 'cause her power is just so ridiculous that no normal person or monster could fight it. I mean, most of what she does isn't even her when she's trying. She can create twisters powerful enough to tear monsters to shreds in seconds without even looking and stop massive projectiles barreling towards her with just a point, like when she completely and effortlessly stopped the alien Boros' bullet storm and sent them right back at his ship. If you remember, that took nearly 500 gigatons of TNT! Or when she tore the Monster association hideout right out of the ground.
Wiz: This immense power translates directly into her other abilities, like her ability to use her power to levitate and fly at high speeds. When she fought against the fellow hero Saitama, she flew between cities A, H and N in a relatively short timeframe, requiring a travel speed of Mach 36, and with the feats she's accomplished, it's likely she can go far faster. But most unique of all is her ability to have direct control over another person's psychic abilities. If she encounters a weaker esper than her, she can get a hold of their power and shut them off manually, and her power just shows that almost nobody can fight back. Her feats of lifting the Monster hideout and catching the bullet storm don't even begin to compare to when Tatsumaki truly gets serious.
Boomstick: Her power is insane! Her barriers can be large enough to cover up a whole city and lets her survive getting smashed through thousands of layers of concrete, deflect beams fired by Psykos, and gravity being increased by 300 times. Her attacks are so precise that they can damage monsters on the cellular level, and after she tore the Monster hideout out of the ground, she psycho-lifted hundreds of massive rocks the size of mountains from the Earth's crust and moments later, managed to twist up an entire city! In her fight with the ultra powerful Fused Psyko-Orochi, their battle created a massive hurricane over the city, and when she beat them, she finished them off with a gigantic spinning spear made of the monster hideout and drilled them deep into the Earth! But best of all, her shield managed to defend against a beam attack from Fused Psykos that was so powerful it sliced off a chunk of the Earth what the hell is this!?!
Wiz: This beam attack that she managed to block with her barrier is nothing short of powerful. By measuring the massive chunk of the Earth's crust that was sliced in comparison to the circumference of the Earth, in order to pull this off, this beam attack would have to be outputting over 250 petatons of TNT. That would be like detonating 50 billion Tsar bombs all at once and then concentrating it onto one point. But not only is this an impressive feat of power. Pulling up her barrier in time to block this attack, assuming the timeframe for the beam to reach its end is one second, would require her to be reacting at over 7000 times faster than sound!
Boomstick: And since her defenses use the same power she uses to attack, that probably means she can output that same amount of power. Jesus!!! It's no wonder that she looks down on all the other heroes. She's in a league of her own. With all that power, it's not surprising that she can be a little cocky sometimes.
Wiz: Well, not always. In fact, this same careless attitude has caused her to slip up in the past and has gotten her in heaps of trouble, and despite her potential, she is not infallible. She can often leave herself vulnerable to enemy attacks if she isn't careful, like when Psycho-Orochi managed to turn her own barrier inside-out, leaving her powerless in breaking it while pressure continuously built up inside, and she is incapable of both attacking and defending simultaneously, meaning her guard has to be lowered if she wants to go on the offensive. On top of that, her powers can leave her exhausted if she goes too far, even causing her to violently vomit up blood or bleed from her head if she uses too much power at once. In fact, should she suffer too much damage or a heavy blow to her head, her abilities are hindered drastically. Plus, while Psychic Whirlwind is an incredibly useful move, strong enough psychic powers are able to bypass it, like when Tatsumaki herself broke through Fubuki's.
Boomstick: But she's not afraid to push past her limits if it means tearing her enemies into dust. With so much power at her fingertips, it's no wonder why she's one of the top heroes in the world. She's determined to prove that no monster or villain is a match for the Tornado of Terror.
Tatsumaki was facing off against Psycho-Orochi while holding Genos, who was drained of energy. She sends one of her beams flying off behind her before focusing her gaze on her.
Tatsumaki: Now then. Psykos, was it? You were saying...
Suddenly, Psykos was frozen in place, struggling against Tatsumaki's psychic bind. All she could do was look on at the esper, who gained a dark murderous aura around her and was staring at her with the intent to kill.
Tatsumaki: You were going to do what to my little sister?
Spacegodzilla[]
Wiz: World War II. A massacre of unbelievable proportions, causing such events as the bombing of Pearl Harbor, Nagasaki and Hiroshima. But it was also known for the rise of something devastating, something ancient and primal. The detonations from nuclear bombs had awoken a force unlike anything the world had seen. Godz-
Boomstick: GODZILLA!!! Sorry Wiz, couldn't help myself. Obviously pretty pissed that he was interrupted from his million year nap, he began his rampage on Japan, making quick work of everything and anything in his way. But it didn't last long. A scientist named Serizawa killed him using a weapon called the oxygen destroyer, putting down the rampaging monster for good... until he came back... twice.
Wiz: But, as you'd imagine, this Godzilla wasn't the only giant monster that was in hiding on Earth... or the only Godzilla. After these events, many monsters of equally destructive proportions revealed themselves to the human race, and wreaked havoc on them. Komunga, Ebirah, Baragon, Varan, the Gargantuas and many more became apparent threats to the human race frequently.
Boomstick: Now doesn't that sound familiar...
Wiz: With these new threats on the horizon, the world was desperate in advancing their military in order to combat the giant creatures, but they'd need much more to reliably fight back. Luckily, not all of these monsters were out to destroy them, like Mothra, Anguirus, and even another Godzilla.
Boomstick: They got to work fighting these rampaging monsters, even if they didn't really like the humans either. Godzilla was at the frontlines of just about every fight, showing every monster just why he's the King of the Monsters.
Wiz: Little did they know, much bigger threats were soon to arrive, one of which would prove to be one of Godzilla's most formidable opponents. After a fight with either Mothra or the giant plant monster Biollante, several of Godzilla's cells were carried out of orbit and into space, floating around the cosmos until they were eventually sucked into a black hole. They sat there, somehow surviving the intense forces the black hole put on them, absorbing anything that was caught in the pull. After absorbing unknown minerals and cosmic energies from stars, it was released through a white hole which flung it out of its prison. There it festered, mutating and growing into an entirely new being. When it was done, a terror unlike anything before it had been unleashed onto the cosmos, simply known as... Spacegodzilla.
Boomstick: First off, FINALLY! Been wanting to talk about this guy ever since you mentioned him. Secondly, what in the fresh hell is that backstory? TMNT, weird even for comic books. Wally West, somehow going through the exact same scenario Barry Allen went through to become The Flash, pretty much impossible. But this??? What even are the chances?
Wiz: Well, this is only a theory as to his creation, but it is generally considered to be the most agreed upon compared to the others.
Boomstick: Okay, new question. What the hell were the other theories that made that one so believable!?! Actually, don't answer that, I don't wanna know. Anyway, after the space lizard was finally born, it sought out to do one thing. Get to Earth, kill the original Godzilla, and destroy humanity... for some reason. Pretty weird how those were his first thoughts, gonna be honest.
Popup: While Spacegodzilla's initial creation left a deformity in his arms, later versions of him show that he does not suffer from it and is not hindered in hand to hand.
Wiz: Somehow possessing knowledge of Earth's whereabouts through Godzilla's own memories, Spacegodzilla made his way to the planet, letting nothing stop him, with an arsenal of destruction at his beck and call. His time absorbing cosmic energies gave him a unique array of abilities that share nearly no similarities to Godzilla's own, most prominent of all are his psychic powers.
Boomstick: His powers like Gravity Tornado let him lift and toss around massive objects like huge rocks, buildings, and giant monsters or freeze his opponents in place with the giant crystals on his shoulders. He can also use his power to levitate off the ground and give himself the ability to fly, which is how he managed to get to Earth in the first place. He can create shields and barriers to protect against enemy attacks, even being strong enough to not just block, but completely deflect Godzilla's atomic breath.
Wiz: His psychic powers become all the more powerful with his other unique power, the ability to summon massive crystal spires. With these, Spacegodzilla can effortlessly terraform an entire city into his domain, and while these crystals are of an unknown material, they have the properties of siphoning energy from their environment, granting Spacegodzilla incredible power depending on how many he creates with no known limit on how many he can create. If he absorbs enough power, then he can achieve 'Critical Mass', which sort of acts like a semi-burning mode for just about any monster, drastically increasing his power and making him slightly bigger for a short time. These aren't just used for gaining power, however, as he incorporates them into his attacks as well. By using his telekinesis, he can send them flying at his foes like javelins with the Homing Ghost, rain a hailstorm of crystals from above, or encase his enemies in a crystalline prison. He can even use the crystals tipped on his tail as a devastating impaling weapon. But he isn't just limited to throwing around large objects.
Boomstick: Yeah, thanks to being a clone of Godzilla, his physical abilities should be on par with him, meaning he can do just about everything the OG big G can do. His telekinesis can casually lift and toss around Godzilla and his strength is comparable to him, like the time Godzilla suplexed the 100 thousand ton Keizer Ghidorah, or when he tore Biollante out of the ground and lifted her into the air, who weighs double that at 200 thousand tons! Even his tail is strong enough to throw around the 160 thousand ton M.O.G.U.E.R.A. with total ease. His toughness should be the same too, which means he can survive a city busting meteor hitting him dead in the face without moving an inch, being hit with a black hole twice, and even his cells could survive being inside of a black hole for God knows how long. Hell, if he’s feeling peckish then he’ll straight up EAT meteors!
Wiz: Despite his bulky frame, Spacegodzilla is surprisingly fast, especially with his flight. While his flight has shown him breaching Mach 3, it is apparent that he can go much faster. His flying speed has shown him reaching escape velocity, or Mach 32, and matching travel speeds with the robot replica Kiryu, who can fly at Mach 40 speeds, but that's just with his hovering form. Spacegodzilla possesses a flying form he can transform into which allows him to travel at speeds faster than light itself, which explains just how he reached Earth so quickly, and he can swap in and out of these forms on a dime.
Boomstick: But of course, he wouldn't be a Godzilla copycat if he didn't have a super beam attack. His signature move, the... uh, Corona... Beam... umm, wow. Okay that aged like milk. Like, ‘the expiration date is tomorrow’ milk. Really poor name choice aside, this breath attack is really powerful. It's able to match and overpower Godzilla's atomic breath and he's got direct control of where it goes, wether he needs to chase down a fleeing opponent, loop back around to tag an enemy that dodged it, or to... torment children??? Am I reading this wrong?
Wiz: Unfortunately, no. Spacegodzilla does have some sadistic tendencies. Upon his arrival on Earth, he quickly found Godzilla's son, Godzilla Jr., and proceeded to tease him by firing his beam at his feet. But he didn't do it for no reason, as he did it to lure in Godzilla for their encounter before kidnapping his son to lure Godzilla away into an area more suited for him. Which brings us to possibly his most deadly talent, his intelligence. He is surprisingly smart, outsmarting opponents in combat and using his tactics to get ahead. According to the military, Spacegodzilla possesses near human level intelligence.
Boomstick: Hey, if regular Godzilla somehow knows martial arts and has his own monster language he speaks to Anguirus and Rodan with, I'm not that surprised.
Wiz: Just a testament to Spacegodzilla's terrifying intellect.
Boomstick: So he's a poser, a kidnapper, he enjoys tormenting children and he has a Corona Beam and he doesn't even wear a mask. Yeesh, it's like Toho was just trying to make this guy the biggest douche ever. But that doesn't stop him from being a nearly unstoppable powerhouse. His power just shows why he can fight so well against Godzilla of all monsters. His telekinesis lets him lift millions of tons of rubble and crystals to use as projectiles without issue. He's as tough as Godzilla, who not only survived that meteor hitting him in the face, but he also survived getting hit by the Absolute Zero Cannon at point blank range, which can hit with over 128 teratons of TNT! That’s enough power to destroy all of Japan 14 times over! Spacegodzilla’s survived having his face drilled by M.O.G.U.E.R.A., having his chest sliced by Gigan, and no-sold both Godzilla’s atomic breath and Mechagodzilla’s Space Beam. Plus he's got enough power to go toe to toe with some of Godzilla's heaviest hitters, like Gigan, Destoroyah, and King Ghidorah.
Wiz: That's nothing to scoff at either, as King Ghidorah is so powerful that his mere presence is enough to create a massive hurricane, one that could cover a good part of South America, requiring an energy output of up to over 600 gigatons of TNT to uphold and over 60 teratons of TNT to create, but even that is small talk compared to what Spacegodzilla is truly capable of. At one point, the crystals on his shoulders shattered, and the energy released from them was powerful enough to create a singularity the size of him. He even destroyed the Moon in "Godzilla in Hell", and in that same comic, had a beam clash with Godzilla that created an explosion so powerful, it annihilated the entire planet!
Boomstick: Holy Hell! This guy sounds unstoppable. What kills this guy!?
Wiz: A very, very, very, very, very pissed off Godzilla.
Boomstick: Oh... yeah that'd do it. But let's be real here. When it takes that to put you down, you've earned your right as one of the most powerful monsters ever.
Wiz: Well, while that might be true, it doesn't mean he is unbeatable. He was once overpowered by a trilopod clone of himself during the trilopod invasion and has been given a fair deal of trouble from other monsters like Gigan.
Boomstick: So he fought the clone of himself, who is a clone of Godzilla, so the clone fought the clone of a clone... that hurts my brain. Imma stop thinkin' 'bout it.
Wiz: On top of that, he can find himself in tricky situations if he isn't careful, which doesn't help with the fact that he is... well, outright insane, and to top it all off, the crystals on his shoulders which house a massive amount of his power are particularly fragile... compared to the rest of him at least. If they are destroyed, he becomes drastically weaker. But in a surprising twist of irony, he ended up siding with the Earth monsters and fought alongside Godzilla for the fate of the planet against the trilopods despite his grudge against him.
Boomstick: But don't think it's because he's secretly a goody-two-shoes like Godzilla. It's because he'll be damned if he lets anyone other than himself take down Godzilla and rule over the planet all on his own. Everyone will tremble in the presence of Spacegodzilla.
Spacegodzilla descends from the sky, hitting the ground with enough force to shake the earth and kick up a massive dust cloud. He rears up and lets out a roar to the sky.
Spacegodzilla: *SKREEEEEEEEOOOOOONK!!!!!*
Prelude[]
Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!!
Death Battle[]
It was the middle of a peaceful day. The sounds of cars honking and people talking littered the city with sounds as everyone went about their daily business. Everything was peaceful, but all of that immediately changed. Just then, something glowing could be seen in the sky, speeding towards the ground at a dangerous rate. Someone spotted it and alerted other people. Soon, everyone was in panic, trying to run to safety as the object drew closer, until it crashed on the ground, shaking the city and killing dozens of people. Crystals immediately shot out of the ground, destroying several buildings and causing mass destruction around the crash.
Plumes of smoke and dust covered the area of the crash, preventing anyone from seeing what was causing the destruction. Chaos ensued for a moment longer, but soon the crystals stopped sprouting from the ground. A few minutes passed as helicopters flew overhead overlooking the area, but a strange disturbance pulsed from the center of the crash, hitting the helicopters and causing them to spiral towards the ground, until they were stopped midair surrounded by a green aura.
This same energy surrounded rubble trapping people in the area, lifting it up before taking ahold of the people and lifting them away from the site. Looking down on the destruction was the S-class psychic hero, Tatsumaki. She crossed her arms and had an annoyed expression on her face.
Tatsumaki: The association said that I was going to investigate a Demon level threat, or at worst a Dragon level threat. So what is this!?! This doesn't look like a challenge at all! I swear if I was called out here for no good reason...
She flew down to the center of the crash and into the smoke erupting from it. She tries to see the object that crashed into the ground, but couldn't see through the smoke. Her hands begin to glow before she holds her arms out and clears the smoke from the middle of the area, making the crater visible, but there was nothing inside it.
Tatsumaki: Grrrr, I knew it! I was called out here for nothing! What a waste of time.
But as she was yelling, a shadowy figure loomed behind her, opening its eyes as their glow shone through the smoke. It lifted its arm right as Tatsumaki was turning around to leave, and right as she faced it, it swiped at her. The creature looked at its hand to find the hero wasn't there, but noticed a green glow off to the side. The creature had missed and Tatsumaki was looking on at it from outside the smoke.
Tatsumaki: So, there really was something here. This better be worth my time.
The silhouetted creature walked towards her, nearing the edge of the wall of dust and smoke. It bent its head down before it exited and shot it up through the smoke wall, letting out a terrifying roar, pushing away the smoke from sheer pressure, and revealing itself to be none other than Spacegodzilla.
Spacegodzilla: *SKREEEEEEOOOOONK!!!!!*
Tatsumaki was unfazed by this and simply readied herself while Spacegodzilla got ready to attack.
FIGHT!
Spacegodzilla rushes forward and swipes at Tatsumaki, missing entirely as she evades the attack. He tries again repeatedly as Tatsumaki continues to avoid his attacks with a bored expression on her face. He leaps at her trying to bite down at her but she flies past and behind him as he bites nothing but air. Tatsumaki lifts several cars into the air and flings them at Spacegodzilla, who was completely unfazed by the attack. He turns around to face her and charges right at her, unleashing a fury of attacks. Tatsumaki was effortlessly evading each swipe he took, buildings being demolished from every swipe as a path of destruction lay in his wake.
Tatsumaki once again avoided a wild swing and flew behind him, but he follows it up with his tail, extending it toward her trying to stab her, but it gets frozen in place by a green energy. Tatsumaki does a gesture and Spacegodzilla starts getting dragged around by his tail, being flung around and around, smashing into several buildings before Tatsumaki releases her psychic grip on his tail and sends him flying into a building, which crumbles on top of him. Spacegodzilla gets up, visibly annoyed but unhurt and grabs onto a building next to him, rips it out of the ground, lifts it over his head, spins around and lobs it right at Tatsumaki. She gives an unimpressed look and simply holds her hand out, engulfing the building in green energy and stopping it in place. Her power grabs ahold of several other buildings, lifting them out of the ground and into the air around her. She points at the monster and the buildings suddenly start flying right at him.
Before the buildings could reach him, they all stopped again. They were all surrounded by another green energy, but this time sparks flowed around them. The building right in front of Spacegodzilla was slowly moved out of the way, revealing him completely fine as green sparks were emanating from the crystals on his shoulders, holding the buildings in place. He gave Tatsumaki a menacing glare, but Tatsumaki looked like she was about to fall asleep.
Tatsumaki: Hmph. Am I supposed to be impressed?
Of course, this response only further angered the space monster, causing him to let out a roar and retaliate by flinging the buildings towards Tatsumaki at high speeds before blasting his Corona Beam at her. She was quick to act and began darting around the buildings as they came at her. She sees his beam coming and puts a shield around her, blocking the attack. When the assault was done, she went to face Spacegodzilla, only to find he wasn't there. He suddenly appears behind her, using his psychic powers to fly up behind her. Before she could react, Spacegodzilla swipes at her and successfully lands the hit, launching her to the side and into a building. Thankfully, Tatsumaki's shield was up, leaving her unharmed from the attack. She grips her hands, causing the building behind her to crumble into nothing but rubble and sends it flying at Spacegodzilla. He covers his eyes with his arm and is pelted by several small projectiles. He attempts to fly away from the debris as it begins to follow him, flying around as it chases him before he spots Tatsumaki controlling the rubble. He attempts to fire a beam at her, but she pulls up a barrier around her and is unharmed. He notices that the debris stopped chasing him and makes his move. He grabs the building beneath her with his powers and tears it in half, sending it up to Tatsumaki and smashing the two pieces around her trying to crush her. This proved ineffective as Tatsumaki forces the building to combust and the pieces once again start flying at the monster.
Before Spacegodzilla could retreat, Tatsumaki grabs Spacegodzilla with her telekinesis and sends him flying into the ground below, before dragging his face along the street and into a building. He gets up but is forcibly spun around as several rocks and vehicles surround his arms, binding them and bending his arms behind him as he is held in place while the cyclone of debris starts flying towards him. Tatsumaki stared at him as he helplessly watched it close in on him, but right before it did, a crystal-like barrier appears before him and blocks the rubble, smashing into it and defending Spacegodzilla. Tatsumaki was annoyed by this and flew above and behind him. She lets out a pulse that surrounds many buildings in the area, before all of the windows are simultaneously shattered. She twists up all of the glass shards and sends them flying at Spacegodzilla from behind, who was still defending against the rubble projectiles. As they neared him, he glanced behind him and gave a snarl, his spines glowing before he unleashes his Corona Beam, which quickly changes course and shoots off behind him towards the glass. It reaches it and begins darting all around, vaporizing the glass and climbing its way to Tatsumaki. She blocks it with her shield, prompting all of the projectiles to fall to the ground and releasing Spacegodzilla's arms. Spacegodzilla drops his barrier and stomps his foot on the ground before doing a gesture with his arm as if he were trying to pull something upwards.
The ground began to shake as he did this, before the floor cracked and gave way as hundreds of crystals began to sprout from the ground, many more than what was summoned from his initial crash. The power they absorbed reenergized Spacegodzilla as he looked up at Tatsumaki. With a wave of his hands, several crystals were uprooted from the ground and were angled towards the hero, who had a bored, but also slightly irritated, expression on her face. They harpooned towards her in a barrage, turning the tables and forcing her to fly away from them as they chased her down with Spacegodzilla looking with a malicious expression on his face. As she flew away from the crystals, she slowed down and allowed one to pass her, grabbing it with her psychic power and crushing it. She did the same to several more until they were all destroyed. Tatsumaki looked to Spacegodzilla to see that he was standing still as more crystals surrounded him. She manages to see energy flowing from the crystals and into him, giving him more power. She corrected this by engulfing the crystals in psychic energy and shattering them all at once. Spacegodzilla looked up at her while she had a smirk on her face, further angering him. He raised his arm up and swiped it down, making Tatsumaki confused until she sensed a cluster of energy coming from above. She looks up and sees a storm of crystals coming down from the clouds. Spacegodzilla had sent several into the sky as she was fleeing from the crystals sent at her. She crossed her arms as wind began to pick up, creating a massive twister that picked up several buildings. Spacegodzilla wasn't able to see her and couldn't direct his crystals towards her, but suddenly, his own crystals were flung towards him surrounded by Tatsumaki's power. He was quick to avoid them as they stabbed into the ground behind him, but not quick enough to avoid all of them as several of them hit him, shattering on impact and staggering him. He looked on at the twister and sensed Tatsumaki's energy inside, seeing an outline of her power shaped like a person. He lifts his crystals out of the ground and sends them flying into the twister before ascending into the air himself and soaring towards her energy.
Spacegodzilla flies towards the center of the tornado and straight for Tatsumaki, sending the crystals he grabbed with his telekinesis at her. She dodges, her silhouette becoming visible as Spacegodzilla reaches her. He reaches his hand out and grabs her as he gets to the center, crushing her in his palm with a sickening crack resonating from it. Satisfied, he opens his hand, only to find nothing more than a couple of rocks that he had crushed. Realizing he was tricked, he looks around in the cyclone to try and find her, trying to sense her energy. He felt her aura behind him, but at the same time, she was somehow to the left of him. Before he knew it, multiple barely visible silhouettes began darting around him, disorienting and confusing him. He swiped at one passing by, but missed and was hit from behind by a building, knocking him back. He recovers and tries to hit one with his tail and succeeds, but it was also just a bundle of rocks. As he looks back, a truck with a tanker full of gas gets shoved into his mouth while he was caught off guard, before exploding and sending him reeling. He got slammed in the side by a giant rock and uppercutted by a building, all while he was trying to figure out which energy sign hiding in the tornado was controlling them. He started summoning more crystals to aid him, bringing them into the tornado and chasing down the decoys. They smashed through several of them as they flew around, but for every one that was destroyed, several took its place, slowly overwhelming him with pure confusion.
He had had enough and fired his Corona Beam in frustration, controlling it and sending it darting around to all of the energy signs flying around. It traveled with great speed, vaporizing every decoy faster than they could be replaced. Multiple projectiles slammed into him, but he didn't care and continued to destroy them. He stopped firing finally, as there was only one energy sign left. Tatsumaki was above him, covered in the high winds of the twister, but Spacegodzilla turned to her with a glare and shot up at her. She quickly evaded him tackling into her and flew up after him, soaring above the clouds and out of the twister. Tatsumaki and Spacegodzilla stop ascending, facing each other as the orange sun shone behind them. She once again starts to create a cyclone, but it was much bigger than before, making a massive hurricane that engulfed the two. She brings several massive rocks up inside the hurricane and had them floating besides her, while Spacegodzilla did the same with his crystals. They both extended their arm, sending their projectiles at each other. They crashed into each other, with enough force to create multiple explosions that quickly got swept away in the high speed winds. They flew everywhere, trying to strike their targets to no avail. Tatsumaki would deflect and crush any crystal that got close to her while the rocks that neared Spacegodzilla were smashed to bits by his immense strength or crumbled under his barrier. Tatsumaki flew towards Spacegodzilla with several chunks of the Earth's crust in tow. They were sent right at him in a straight line, but were blasted apart by Spacegodzilla's breath attack, the final boulder halting the beam. Tatsumaki held her hand out as a wave of force slammed into Spacegodzilla's head, almost as if he were punched in the face, which he followed up with a punch. She pulls up her barrier as his massive fist collides with it, her shield unwavering but the blow still sending her back.
Tatsumaki stops herself but is quickly met with Spacegodzilla flying up to her, reeling his head back, and head-butting her, sending her downwards. She drops her barrier as she fell and stops herself, before multiple massive pieces of rubble are torn from the ground and brought up into the hurricane. She launches a volley at Spacegodzilla who unleashes a hailstorm of crystals down at her, colliding with each other. She flies towards the monster, evading and blocking any crystal sent her way before reaching him. She holds her hand out at him as he is enveloped in a green aura, frozen in place as she begins to crush him. She pushes harder and harder to crush him into a ball, but the monster wouldn't budge, so she brings several buildings and rocks to encase around him to aid her. They all surround him, quickly covering him in millions of tons of concrete and metal. Soon, he was completely encased in a massive ball of debris as Tatsumaki looked satisfied with her work, but before she could relax, his Corona Beam shoots out of the top before moving down the center of the massive ball, slicing straight through it. Tatsumaki evaded it as it moved down but it continued all the way around to where it started, splitting it in half and releasing Spacegodzilla. Multiple massive crystals began to appear all over his back, and in a split second, he vanished from sight. Before she even realized it, he appeared behind her with his crystals disappearing instantly before she pulled up her barrier and is sideswiped by him. Spacegodzilla follows suite as she flies through the air, getting ahead of her and flipping forward, slamming his spiked tail down on her as she flew in, sending her careening to the ground.
She slams into the ground leaving a small crater before she recovers, looking up at Spacegodzilla in the sky. He swipes his hand down, sending another hailstorm down towards her. She quickly got up and began darting around close to the ground, evading the crystals as they stabbed into the ground around her as she sped around the streets. She grabs several buildings and threw them at the monster as she evaded the crystals so fast they caught fire. He sees this and does something unexpected, flying straight towards them and barreling into them. His body collided with the projectiles, creating multiple explosions, but he emerged from the clouds of smoke unharmed, flying after Tatsumaki as she was fleeing. While she was flying backward looking at Spacegodzilla with her shield up, he forced a crystal out of the ground in her path, causing her to crash into it, sending her tumbling across a street before slamming into a building. Spacegodzilla lands and sends several crystals flying at her, but as they reached her, they crash into a wall of green energy, before the wall begins to bend over them, encasing them in one of Tatsumaki's barriers. It closes in on them, effortlessly crushing them into a ball before being thrown back at Spacegodzilla, who spins around and swipes it aside with his tail.
He is suddenly encased in Tatsumaki's energy before being thrown to the side and into a building. She flies up to him and pushes Spacegodzilla back with a wave of force into another building. She grabs several wires from telephone poles around the city block, tying them around the monster and electrocuting him as he roars in pain, but he retaliates as his shoulder crystals begin absorbing the energy, quickly draining it from the wires, before breaking out of them and holding his hand out to Tatsumaki as she does the same, both freezing in place from each other's psychic powers. Tatsumaki clenches her fist, shattering the power around her and freeing herself from the monster's hold, while green sparks flow around Spacegodzilla from his crystals, before shattering the energy around him and freeing himself as well. He lunges forward and swipes at Tatsumaki, who evaded and got behind him, but sparks once again flew from his shoulder crystals and grabbing her, spinning her around him before she could act on it and getting flung into the ground with enough force to bounce into the air, followed up by Spacegodzilla batting her away with a powerful strike from his tail, sending her crashing through several buildings.
Tatsumaki crashed into one final building with her shield up, her annoyed expression turning slightly angry for a moment before having to react to a line of crystals shooting out of the ground towards her. She flew away from the building as a crystal stabbed through it from the ground, destroying it. She began pulling apart the ground beneath Spacegodzilla, creating a fissure that he falls into as it closes on him, but the ground exploded with him bursting from it and firing his beam at her. She evades it as it sliced straight through the tops of dozens of buildings. He flies straight at her at high speeds, but is stopped in his tracks as Tatsumaki freezes him midair, glaring at him with a vein showing on her forehead, showing how annoying this was to her.
Tatsumaki: Just give up.
Spacegodzilla: *Strained grunt*
Tatsumaki begins lifting him high over her and slamming him head first into the ground over and over again before Spacegodzilla could break out of her grip. She spun him around her several times before launching him away, crashing through several buildings, similar to what he had done to her earlier in the fight. He was dazed and dizzy, trying to recollect himself, but is held in place as he starts feeling a strange sensation around his body. Tatsumaki was pointing at him as a strange energy was flowing around him, different to her psychic powers. Their surroundings went white as black outlines of their bodies were all that could be seen. Tatsumaki's was moving towards Spacegodzilla's with her arm outstretched to him, who was seemingly being affected by her as his silhouette began to warp and stretch. Tatsumaki was trying to use his chi to kill him, his spiritual energy flowing around him under Tatsumaki's influence, but the silhouette that appeared to be Spacegodzilla's chi leaned forward, crossing his arms, before shooting his arms out, letting out a burst of pressure and unleashing roar, knocking Tatsumaki away as their surroundings and bodies came back into view.
Spacegodzilla: *SKREEEEEEOOOOOONK!!!!!*
Spacegodzilla lunges at Tatsumaki and punches her into the ground as she was holding her shield up. He begins slamming his fists into the street trying to break her barrier, shaking the ground enough to split the ground open in several places around them. He reels his fist back once more, but Tatsumaki holds it in place and sends a boulder flying into Spacegodzilla's face, stunning him and giving Tatsumaki room to escape. She flies up and holds her hands to the sky.
Tatsumaki: Tougher than you look, huh? Let's fix that.
She pulls down as several glowing objects begin entering the Earth's atmosphere at high speeds. She had dragged several meteors from outer space and set them for a crash course straight for the monster. Spacegodzilla sees this and puts up his barrier while Tatsumaki simply flies higher into the air as the meteors blitz right past her. A meteor slams into Spacegodzilla's barrier, creating a huge explosion and launching him back despite his barrier being up. He recovers and begins hovering around, dodging the meteors as they came. The resulting blasts as they hit the ground didn't even phase him before he grabs one with his telekinesis and loops it back around, throwing it at Tatsumaki, who did the same and threw it back at him, but this time he had caught it in his mouth and chomped down on it, crushing and eating the meteor. The meteor shower continued as he flew up towards Tatsumaki in the sky, avoiding the meteors barely as they came down on him. Tatsumaki then froze him in place and sent dozens of meteors down on him as he couldn't move, but then he summoned his crystal-like barrier all around him as they all crashed into it at once, creating a massive explosion.
Tatsumaki was shielded by the massive blast and looked on at the cloud of smoke, but Spacegodzilla suddenly burst out of it at surprisingly high speeds, slamming into her with his shoulder and sending her flying with him following suite. He caught up to her and punched her upward into the air, firing his beam at her, but she recovers and dispels the beam once it got to her, flying down at Spacegodzilla and forcing a massive wave of energy at him, sending him falling to the ground. He recovers and stops himself from falling, but is met with the hero holding her hand to his stomach and sending another burst of energy into his gut, knocking the air out of him and sending him flying backwards. He recovers and keeps his momentum, flying back around towards Tatsumaki who was also flying right at him, energy flowing to her hands. They went back and forth, knocking each other around in the air trying to tire the other out. Spacegodzilla tries grabbing her as they flew at each other again, but she dodges around him and grabs his tail with her power, swinging him around and throwing him into the ground. He gets up as two buildings smash into him, pushing him along the ground as his feet dig into the floor, trying to stop them. He flies up as the buildings chase after him and goes to attack Tatsumaki, who brings one of the buildings up to her as he tries punching her and hits the building. She brings both buildings in front of her and sends one into Spacegodzilla's face, who recovers and tries hitting Tatsumaki, missing twice and being struck by the buildings in the stomach before they are brought over his head and slammed down on top of him, stunning him. The buildings are once again sent crashing into his stomach, pushing him back and away from Tatsumaki, but he holds his hand out as green sparks flow to her from his crystals, preventing her from moving as they reached her. Several crystals begin surrounding her, trapping her inside while Spacegodzilla destroys the buildings. He gathered more around her, increasing the massive crystal prison, but it is suddenly detonated as Tatsumaki bursts out of it.
The crystals that surrounded her absorbed some of her energy and when they were destroyed, the energy went to Spacegodzilla, powering him up slightly. Many crystals begin forming on his back as he transformed to his flying form once again. He sped into the air at unbelievable speed as Tatsumaki looked at him from a distance. In the blink of an eye, he shot forward at her, trying to ram into her, only leaving her enough time to just barely dodge it as he soared back around to try again. She continuously avoided these attacks finding it difficult to keep up as he kept the pressure on her. She uproots the entire street below her and puts it in his path, but the second he came into contact with it, the entire thing was pulverized as he ripped through it. She couldn't move out of the way in time and pulled up her barrier as Spacegodzilla slammed into her head on. She was punched through several buildings as the monster flew into her before she was dragged across the ground, the monster carving out a massive ditch along the city floor. He flies up and leaves Tatsumaki to crash into a building, shakily getting up, but not from pain or exhaustion. As Spacegodzilla flew away to get a running start, he suddenly crashed into a massive object. The crystals on his back shattered as he is brought out of his flying form from how hard he crashed. He looked to see he had ran into a massive green barrier that was engulfing the entire city. Looking over to Tatsumaki, who was glaring at Spacegodzilla from a distance, now very very angry.
She lifts thousands of projectiles into the air and launched them towards Spacegodzilla at the edge of her barrier. He spots them as they closed in on him and began flying around them, dodging and evading them with multiple hitting head on. He begins to quickly descend towards the ground as he avoided the projectiles and crashed onto the ground, sticking the landing and shaking the city, crumbling several buildings around him. He stomps his foot on the ground and roars, forcing thousands of crystals to be summoned from the ground, overwhelming the city and destroying a good part of it. As they got to Tatsumaki, she pulls up a barrier around her, protecting herself from them, and with a literal finger twitch, shattered nearly all of them at once. No longer wanting to mess around, she flew up and sped towards Spacegodzilla who pulled up his own barrier. She stops right in front of him and begins to overwhelm him with force, the sheer psychic pressure pushing Spacegodzilla back despite having his barrier up. He uses his telekinesis to drag her to the ground and force her hands into it. The pressure stops as he drops his barrier and goes to stomp on her, but she easily frees herself once his guard is down and focuses her power on his throat. He is lifted into the air as he grabs at his neck while it slowly gets crushed, retaliating by firing his beam attack at her, forcing her to release him and dodge, the beam creating an explosion along the ground. He tries flying away, but is immediately brought back in and dragged across the ground by Tatsumaki. He breaks her hold with his own power and flies into the air, firing his Corona Beam at her, but instead of dodging it, she uses her power to grab it and redirect it herself, bringing it back around her and launching it back at Spacegodzilla. He disconnects the beam as it flies at him and fires a separate beam at it, the two beams colliding with each other as they circle around each other, before a ball of light forms between them, rupturing and creating a gargantuan explosion. It is so massive that it completely destroys the city the two were in and forces them to pull up their barriers to guard against them. The two are pushed back and are engulfed in the explosion, as the massive barrier Tatsumaki created around the city shatters, releasing the detonation and causing it to destroy even more as the clouds parted from the force of the blast.
What was left of the city was now a scorched earth. Remnants of buildings littered the singed ground as smoke enveloped the landscape. From the rubble emerged both Tatsumaki and Spacegodzilla, pushing the debris off of themselves. Spacegodzilla got up and took a knee, coughing up some blood onto the ground, while Tatsumaki struggled to her feet and puts a hand to her head as blood dripped from it. They both recollect themselves and spot each other a ways away, forgetting about their state of being and glaring at each other. Tatsumaki floats up and starts flying backwards, throwing several massive rocks at Spacegodzilla who starts rushing at her. He tackles into the rocks, shattering them as he tried making his way to the hero. She begins to fly up towards the sky with Spacegodzilla going to fly after her, but just as he started levitating, Tatsumaki pushed downwards, increasing gravity and shoving Spacegodzilla to the ground. He struggled to get up, still recovering from the blast while Tatsumaki was already better. She forces the ground to split and rise around the monster, closing in on him trying to crush him. He pushed against both pieces, until he recovered and pushed them apart long enough to force himself into the air as they slam into each other. He pushes past the increased gravity and speeds toward Tatsumaki in the air, but as she let him get to her, she grabs him with her power and throws him around her, head first into the ground, but she wasn't done. She dragged Spacegodzilla all across the ground, slamming into several destroyed buildings and rocks jutting from the ground. She then stops, bringing him up to her and staring him dead in the eyes, before focusing her power on his arm and gripping, causing a sickening crack to resonate as his arm was shattered, causing him to let out a screech in pain.
While she was torturing the monster, he commanded a small crystal to float up behind her, before it harpooned right at her. She senses it and attempts to move, but was held in place by Spacegodzilla's power. She struggled to free herself, and broke his hold, but wasn't fast enough to dodge in time as the crystal pierced her hand. As she looked at it in shock, Spacegodzilla broke free from her hold, grabbed her and begun to squeeze her, hearing bones crunch and her yell out in pain. She glared at him and began creating a barrier around her, which expanded and forced the monster to let go. It kept getting bigger, pushing Spacegodzilla against it and away from her before it stopped. It vanished, but he was suddenly encased in a green barrier courtesy of Tatsumaki. He attempted to punch through it with his one good arm, but it wouldn't budge as it got smaller and smaller. He eventually let out a pulse from his shoulder crystals which surrounded the inside of the barrier with green electricity, causing it to shatter around him. He spots her and once again flies towards her at high speeds, while she patiently waited for him to reach her. As he did, she prepared to counter, but flinched in pain from her injuries, leaving her vulnerable as Spacegodzilla reeled his arm back and slammed it down on her, sending her careening into the ground. She crashed, just barely blocking his punch and surviving the fall, but more blood began to seep from her head, and she noticed. She saw Spacegodzilla flying down at her, and she decided she was done holding back.
Tatsumaki: ENOUGH!!!
She holds her hands out as a wave of psychic energy hit Spacegodzilla, holding him in place. He attempted to break out, but found it much tougher than before as he gets flung backwards. He stops and gets frozen midair as Tatsumaki flew up and crossed her arms, clenching her fists as the ground began to quake. Massive cracks began to form around the destroyed city as the ground started to rise, until the massive chunk of the earth was uprooted from the ground and lifted into the air, slamming into Spacegodzilla who was still frozen. Tatsumaki forced her arms outward and made the massive chunk of ground split in half, floating to the sides of Spacegodzilla who was still left helpless to do anything. They began to close in on him, before they crash into each other, crushing him in between them as a massive shockwave shot throughout the air. Tatsumaki looked on with a disappointed look on her face.
Tatsumaki: Hmph. Pathetic... huh?
Before she could think about calling the fight a waste of time, she noticed something. In the titanic crater from which the city used to reside, she could see several jagged objects poking through the dust. With a wave of her hand, she dispersed all of the dust from the crater to reveal thousands of crystals sticking up from the ground. The entire time they were fighting, Spacegodzilla was passively creating crystals beneath the city to absorb energy without Tatsumaki knowing. She held her hand out ready to destroy them, but before she could, they all shattered on their own.
The energy stored in the thousands of crystals began to flow up toward the city in the sky, flowing into it and to the center of the massive ball. Tatsumaki stared with confusion, but suddenly, cracks in the massive chunk of earth began to glow orange, spreading around it and growing brighter. Soon, the ball began to shake, with more cracks forming all around it and energy pouring from it. The center of it began to glow brighter and brighter, until the entire thing exploded, unleashing waves of uncontrolled energy and forcing Tatsumaki back. She looked at the source of the glowing and energy whilst trying to cover her eyes. What she saw was Spacegodzilla with his arm fully healed and slightly bigger than before. His entire body was outlined with cracks that glowed orange with power all around him. He had achieved Critical Mass. He let out a mighty roar as he looked down on Tatsumaki from the air as a burst of force pushed her back even further.
Spacegodzilla: *SKREEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOONK!!!!!*
Now with his newfound power, he brought his hand up as hundreds of crystals formed at his side, before sending them blitzing toward Tatsumaki. She immediately bolted, trying her hardest to move around and avoid the crystals, but as she was flying, she crashed into something. She looked up and saw that Spacegodzilla somehow appeared in front of her. Before she could act, she was punched back to where she came from, launching her into the crystals headed her way. She crashed through each of them, shattering them all on impact as her barrier became harder and harder to uphold. She skidded across the ground and looked up to see a massive rock come flying at her. She holds out her arm and pulverizes it, but Spacegodzilla was quick to follow through, bursting through the cloud of dust with his fist raised, slamming down on Tatsumaki and forcing her hundreds of feet into the ground. She recovers and begins flying up, blazing through the rocks around her and shooting up from the ground, right where Spacegodzilla was waiting. He tries impailing her with his tail, but it is blocked by her barrier, when suddenly the crystals on his tail began encasing around her barrier. Now trapped in the crystals on his tail, he began slamming his tail into the ground, over and over again as multiple small craters formed wherever his tail slammed. Spinning around, he releases her and sends her flying through the air and crashing into a crystal that sprouted from the ground. She struggled to get up, disoriented from being slammed around like a flail and tired from having to keep her shield up under the powerful attacks. She looks up on Spacegodzilla who was looking down at her with what could only be described as a shit-eating-grin, which greatly pissed her off. She tore several massive rocks from the ground and was about to send them flying at Spacegodzilla, but several small crystals exploded from them, destroying the rocks and embedding the crystals into her as if they were shrapnel. She grunted in pain from this and fell to a knee, while Spacegodzilla continued looking down on her in a cocky manner.
He began to summon several crystals around her, forcing them to burst from the ground and knocking Tatsumaki around the place. She pulled up her shield to defend, but each crystal that pierced through the ground slowly made her barrier dwindle. Spacegodzilla flew down to the ground in front of Tatsumaki and began firing his Corona Beam right next to her, creating an explosion and causing her to flinch as her barrier became harder to hold up. He kicked her away like nothing and continued to taunt her with a sadistic smile on his face, thoroughly enjoying her suffering. He fired his beam again, circling it around her while simultaneously uprooting more crystals around her. She didn't relent however and poured everything she had into her barrier. This annoyed Spacegodzilla, who then began slamming his fists into her barrier while firing his beam and summoning more crystals, bombarding her with a nonstop onslaught. Her barrier began closing in on her, getting smaller with every hit while Spacegodzilla's face began getting more sadistic at the sight of it. Tatsumaki looked up at the monster as it kept the pressure on her shield and a psychotic look on his face staring her down, and in that moment, instead of her barrier breaking...
She did.
She was finally through with this monster and channeled all of the power within her, ready to murder this creature.
Tatsumaki: You really think you can beat me!?!
Spacegodzilla saw power building up inside of Tatsumaki at a scary rate, and attacked more ruthlessly, but would find it only angered her more.
Tatsumaki: You... ARE... NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!
Tatsumaki unleashed her power, shattering her shield and letting out a massive burst of psychic energy, cracking the ground for miles around and throwing Spacegodzilla back before he could do anything. He rebounds, but sees Tatsumaki was gone, but a blinding green light shone in the sky. Tatsumaki looked down on Spacegodzilla with fury in her eyes, holding out her hand and letting out a wave of psychic pressure. It hits Spacegodzilla, sending him reeling backwards, struggling against the intense force, digging his feet into the ground as he is pushed back. He steeled himself and began flying into the air, trying to get to Tatsumaki's level against her powers. Tatsumaki forced her hand out, increasing the force and halting Spacegodzilla's ascension. He struggled to rise any further, but ultimately faltered as he began to slowly descend. A massive storm formed over the two from the sheer amount of power Tatsumaki was outputting. Tatsumaki shot down towards Spacegodzilla as he was fighting against her power, stopping in front of him when he least expected it. She holds her hand out and forces it down, launching the monster down towards the ground. He crashed hard enough to create a large explosion, leaving a crater in the ground, immediately getting picked up by Tatsumaki again and getting thrown off to the side. He skids across the ground, recovering as he slid and flying up. He brings more crystals to his side and sends them flying at Tatsumaki. They reach her, but are immediately shattered with a simple glance from the esper. She launches another wave of psychic force at Spacegodzilla, who pulls up his barrier to try and block it. The ground cracks around him as his barrier begins to crack as well, struggling to hold up even with his new state of being.
Spacegodzilla begins channeling more energy, his glowing body pulsing with raw power as he drops his barrier and flies up, powering through Tatsumaki's power and rising up to her. She sees him drawing closer and unleashes another powerful wave of force at him, but he sees this and right before it reaches him, he unleashes his power in a massive blast. The explosion of energy pushes against Tatsumaki's power and appeared to be overpowering it. The sky glowed green and orange with both of their power clashing, Spacegodzilla's energy slowly growing and pushing back against the psychic force. He pushed harder, exerting more power from his body, and for a second, he thought he was actually overpowering her.
But only for a second.
As soon as he thought this, Tatsumaki smirked at the monster's attempts at beating her, before she crossed her arms and forced them outward, creating a titanic wave of energy that effortlessly tore through Spacegodzilla's power. In a split second, Spacegodzilla was easily overpowered and was launched backwards through the air. He attempted to catch himself with his levitation, but it wasn't enough and was sent hurdling towards the ground. His body carves a massive ditch into the rubble beneath him before he stopped and got up, but was left no time to breathe as Tatsumaki instantly appeared above him and sent another wave of psychic pressure at him. It reached him, sending him reeling back, holding his head in pain from the pressure she was exerting onto him. His bones began to crack as he was being overpowered and created a barrier in front of him to block it. It cracked as he tried his hardest not to let up, and Tatsumaki saw her moment of opportunity then. She sped down next to Spacegodzilla and threw a boulder at his eye, irritating him and drawing his attention. He spots her and goes to attack her while holding up his barrier, but he misses, leaving himself wide open.
Tatsumaki flew to Spacegodzilla's left shoulder crystal and pressed two fingers to it, surrounding it in green energy, before pulling her hand away and shattering it, causing Spacegodzilla to screech out in pain. He goes to swipe at her again, but she also evaded it, going to his other shoulder crystal and destroying it as well, earning another pained screech from the monster. She flew in front of his barrier, now barely holding up, and held her hand out, releasing a massive wave of energy and shattering it into a million pieces. Spacegodzilla's power was draining fast without his shoulder crystals and couldn't defend against the wave of force coming at him. It hit him head on, pushing him back as he got to his knees and clawed at the ground trying not to get pushed back. Tatsumaki saw Spacegodzilla groveling at his knees and decided to put him out of his misery. She flew high into the air and channeled a gargantuan amount of psychic power, before releasing it, pushing the clouds apart from force and straight to Spacegodzilla. Spacegodzilla got back up just in time to see his demise careening towards him, the massive amount of psychic pressure slams into him, immediately causing him tremendous amounts of pain. The ground around him breaks apart and levitates around him from sheer power as he could do nothing to fight back. The green energy grew so bright it was slowly becoming blinding as Spacegodzilla gripped at his head in pain. Blood began flooding from his eyes and mouth from the psychic pressure while he dug his claws into his head hard enough to draw blood. With one last push, Tatsumaki created another blast of energy that lit up the entire area. Spacegodzilla's surroundings went white as the power she unleashed became unbearable, letting out a screech of pain as he is launched back and engulfed in the blinding light.
The light faded away after a few brief moments, the sun's light shining down on the destroyed landscape as the clouds had parted. The only sounds that could be heard was the wind blowing through the air as everything had died down. Amongst the rubble of what used to be a city and is now a crater could be seen a body lying on its back, seemingly unconscious. It was Spacegodzilla's body, miraculously alive, now out of his Critical Mass state, his face drenched in blood and the crystals on his shoulders destroyed. He slowly and weakly opened his eyes to the sunlight shining down on him as the blinding green light appeared to have vanished. Suddenly, he felt the earth shake beneath him, perhaps an earthquake randomly starting, but it was something much greater. From his resting position, a massive shadow was cast over him and he looked up to see what it was. What he saw was Tatsumaki looking down with murderous intent plastered all over her face and a terrifying shadow cast over it, dripping with blood looking down on him, as she held up an impossible piece of the earth torn straight from the ground shaped like a javelin. Spacegodzilla looked up at it in disbelief as it began to glow brighter, spinning at an increasing rate. A cyclone began to form around it, kicking up dust and spinning at ridiculous speeds until its glow made it look like a spear of light. She reeled her arm back, prepared to drill the monster into the Earth before uttering one final word.
Tatsumaki: Die.
With that, she shot her arm down at the monster and with it, the spinning spear ready to impale Spacegodzilla. He saw it slowly close in on him with fear in his eyes, but he decided that he was going to go down swinging. Still on his back, he opens his mouth, clenching his fists, charging up as much energy as he had left, his spines begin glowing from the tail up as the back of Spacegodzilla's throat began to glow orange. As the titanic spear closed in on him, he reels his head back, closes his mouth, and fires one last Corona Beam right at the javelin. It hits it head on, seemingly doing nothing as it proceeded to drill right down the center of the beam. It got closer and closer to Spacegodzilla who was trying with all his might to blast it. He closed his eyes shut and forced even more energy out of his mouth, letting out a roar as the beam grew and became more powerful. The spear was slowly making its way to the monster, but it was slowing down.
Spacegodzilla was putting nearly all of the power he had left into this beam attack, and it was slowly overpowering it. Soon the massive spear was stopped in its tracks as Tatsumaki tried pushing down on it harder. As she did this, the tip of the spear the beam was hitting began to crack. The cracks spread down the spear slowly at a barely noticeable rate, but suddenly, the Corona Beam destroys the tip of the spinning spear and shoots a hole right down the center of the projectile. Cracks began forming all across it as they began to glow orange, before eventually reaching the other end of it and finally destroying the entire thing. Tatsumaki looked in shock, but only for a brief moment as the beam shot out of the dust cloud and blitzes straight for her, forcing her to dodge as it shoots straight into the sky. However it suddenly and quickly changes course and does a full turn right back to Tatsumaki. She turns around to face it and pulls up her barrier prepared to block the oncoming beam, but right as she does this, Spacegodzilla pulls a final act. With the last of his remaining energy, a few measly green sparks begin to generate from his shattered crystals on his shoulders. They dart to the esper in the air faster than the Corona Beam could get to her, before they quickly reach her and surround her barrier, flowing all around it for a split second before vanishing. Tatsumaki was confused by this, but as the beam approached her barrier, it began to crack, and bend, before it completely shattered from the sparks disrupting it. Tatsumaki was shocked and could only look on in terror for a split second as the beam was mere feet away from her, unable to pull up her barrier again in time. The beam finally hit her, tearing through her as she lets out a final shriek of pain before the beam instantly rips her apart and vaporizes her, finally putting her down.
Spacegodzilla staggeringly gets up from the ground and rises to his feet, almost completely drained of energy and heavily injured, but alive. Knowing that he killed the esper hero, he raises his head up and lets out a victorious roar to the sky.
Spacegodzilla: *SKREEEEEEEEOOOOOOOONK!!!!!!!*

KO!
Boomstick: Wohohoah! Jesus! I know these two could get pretty ruthless, but those last parts got real brutal.
Wiz: These two were both incredibly powerful, being some of the strongest fighters of their own worlds with incredible psychic abilities, and both had a lot going for them respectively in this fight, but Spacegodzilla just clinched the edge in multiple categories in this psychic bout.
Boomstick: Spacegodzilla was obviously way stronger and tougher than her thanks to... well, thanks to being a giant freaking monster, especially being one that compares to Godzilla, but Tatsumaki has tons of experience fighting up against humongous monsters with way more strength and durability than she does through years of hero work, and her victories against monsters like the continent carving Fused Psyko-Orochi meant that she could certainly hold her own against monsters as powerful as the space meister. But unfortunately for her, she didn't have what she needed to actually win a fight with him.
Wiz: Tatsumaki's speedy flight and smaller size meant she would make it at the very least irritating for Spacegodzilla to land a hit on her, but not impossible. Both can likely achieve flying speeds breaching Mach 40 with their levitation and potentially far faster, but unlike Tatsumaki, Spacegodzilla was only limited to this speed in his hovering form. While in his flying form, his flight can achieve faster than light speeds, at minimum over 870,000 times faster than sound, much faster than Tatsumaki, whose best speed feat from reacting to Psyko's beam would only put her reaction capabilities at Mach 7000. Over 124 times slower than Spacegodzilla. While her flight speed can likely reach far beyond Mach 40, nothing suggests it can close that wide of a speed gap, and even though Spacegodzilla's flying form isn't really applicable for combat, remember that he can easily swap between these forms in quick succession.
Boomstick: That speed advantage also meant he could catch Tatsumaki while she was in the middle of swapping from defense to offense, meaning she wouldn't have many opportunities to attack without leaving herself open to get squashed, plus he'd be more than quick enough to get out of the way of anything she could throw at him despite his huge bulk. Tatsumaki's energy dispersing powers were pretty useful against other opponents, but it didn't really matter with Spacegodzilla's Corona Beam when he could easily redirect it right back at her, basically making it useless.
Wiz: Speaking of which, Tatsumaki's tactics and trickery would keep her in the fight and prove a challenge for the monster, but it wouldn't last forever. As smart a fighter Tatsumaki may be, Spacegodzilla is also a smart fighter. One of the main reasons he is considered such a threat to the military is because he possesses human levels of intelligence. He would eventually catch on to her tactics and find a way around them, and could incorporate his own tactics to make it harder for Tatsumaki to keep up. Tatsumaki has been outdone before, and given Spacegodzilla's tactical superiority compared to the foes she's fought, he could certainly do the same to her.
Boomstick: Plus, he also had her beat when it came to their reserves of power. Tatsumaki didn't really have a way to get her power back, and constant use and heavy damage can drain her psychic abilities really fast, while Spacegodzilla could stay continuously more powerful through absorbing energy from the crystals he can summon. Tatsumaki could destroy the crystals no problem, but she couldn't really stop him from making them, and she wouldn't be in the best position trying to destroy them when Spacegodzilla is hot on her tail. She could also probably figure out that the gigantic crystals on his shoulders stored a ton of the power he had and could try to destroy them, but it's not like Spacegodzilla would just let her do that. The second he realizes she knows about it, he'd make it hell and high water for her to even get close to them, again with that intelligence.
Wiz: With all that being said, what truly kept Tatsumaki in this fight was her defenses. Without them, she wouldn't have stood a chance. However, Spacegodzilla had his own defenses to work with as well, with his own psychic barriers being strong enough to completely deflect Godzilla's atomic breath attack, it could guard against virtually anything Tatsumaki could throw at it, and on top of that, his durability would halt just about any attack she had. In fact, Spacegodzilla's raw durability through scaling to Godzilla alone meant that Tatsumaki didn't have many options for actually putting him down.
Boomstick: Crush him into paper? Godzilla could tank a black hole to the face. Damage him on the cellular level? Spacegodzilla's cells alone could survive being sucked into a black hole. Bombardment by meteors? Spacegodzilla EATS meteors! Plus normal Godzilla can survive city busting meteors hitting him dead in the face without even flinching. Use his own chi to kill him? Being so much stronger than her and having the will to go up against the goddamn King of the Monsters meant she had no chance of doing this, and let's be real. There's not enough rubble on the entire planet that Tatsumaki could gather to even come close to hurting Spacegodzilla.
Wiz: At the same time, not many of Spacegodzilla's conventional means of harming her like his physical strength or throwing massive objects could get by her own barriers either. With shields strong enough to withstand a blast worth over 250 petatons of TNT, Spacegodzilla would also have a hard time getting through her defenses, so what we really needed to know is if either had enough raw power inside of them to get by either Tatsumaki's psychic barriers or Spacegodzilla's unwavering durability. Technically speaking, defending against Psykos' continent carving beam meant that she could likely match this kind of power as well. Technically.
Boomstick: But even if she could output that much power, it was a huge risk. Remember, using too much power at one time can seriously damage Tatsumaki, regardless of how much pain she could tolerate, meaning she would probably be doing more harm to herself than she would be to Spacegodzilla.
Wiz: Even still, giving that kind of power to her would still put her leagues below Spacegodzilla in raw power. In 'Godzilla: Save the Earth', when his shoulder crystals were shattered, the energy output released from them all at once was powerful enough to create a black hole as big as Spacegodzilla, which he was sucked into and survived, and in 'Godzilla in Hell', Spacegodzilla managed to destroy the Moon and had a beam clash with Godzilla which destroyed the entire planet. MUCH more than simply cutting off a small part of the Earth.
Boomstick: But those were just some feats from a game and a comic book. Those don't actually apply to Spacegodzilla, right?
Wiz: Well, believe it or not, they absolutely do. Remember, the most likely theory as to Spacegodzilla's creation suggests he had absorbed the energy of several stars during his time in a black hole as a bunch of cells. Taking this at face value, this would mean he has the power of stars packed in his crystals. In other words, these feats of power would be well within his capabilities.
Boomstick: Damn! So, with so much power behind his back, or shoulders I guess, Tatsumaki couldn't exactly turn his powers off, while Spacegodzilla was free to do basically anything to her powers with his own abilities, wether that be breaking out of her Psychic Bind, throwing her around or holding her in place with Gravity Tornado, disrupting her barriers, breaking through her Psychic Whirlwind, or just turning her barriers inside out, especially since weaker espers than Spacegodzilla like Psykos could affect it.
Wiz: Tatsumaki had the skill, experience, supreme defenses, and ridiculous willpower to put up a hardy fight, but she couldn't keep up with Spacegodzilla's speed, durability, and raw power.
Boomstick: I sure bet he got a psy’kick’ outta that fight... but no, really, he got messed up towards the end there.
Wiz: The winner is Spacegodzilla.
