In the year 10,000 BCE, Takkar was a warrior and a hunter hailing from the Wenja tribe. He was sent be his people with of a group of other hunters to find the Wenja who traveled to the land of Oros, a hidden valley in the far north. After they were attacked along the way by a sabertooth tiger, Takkar was the last surviving member of his hunting group, and was forced to survive in Oros. He then used his newfound abilities of the Beast Master to defeat his enemies and rose to become the leader of his tribe.
