Powers & Abilities[]
- Can fire lasers & create flashes of light to blind enemies.
- Can bend light to change people's perception of color.
- Can create holograms.
- Can absorb light, leaving areas in pitch darkness.
- Can create objects of solid light.
- Light gives off heat, allowing him to burn enemies & slice through metal.
- Can turn balls of mercury & darkness into balls of light.
- Can fuse with 2 other Toa of different elements to form a Toa Kaita.
- As a Toa, should be fairly acrobatic.
- Nova Blast: An ability all Toa have. Takanuva unleashes all of his elemental energy in one devastating attack capable of leveling cities & the areas beyond them.

- Staff of Light: Can channel Takanuva's light power, & scoop up balls of light. Taken from him during his dimensional travels.
- Power Lance: Can channel & amplify Takanuva's elemental attacks. Discarded in favor of the Twin Light Staffs.
- Twin Light Staffs: Can channel Takanuva's element, & be used in melee combat.
Feats[]
- Can fight Rahkshi & Makuta.
- Rahkshi can fight evenly with the Toa Nuva.
- Makuta can create storms, & are far stronger than Toa. Takanuva's light power gives him enough of an advantage to contend with even their strongest members.
- The average Toa can lift over 1 ton.
- Similar Toa can move pillars of ice & flip giant tigers.

- The Toa Mata can fight Bohrok, which can melt & destroy mountains, boil away rivers, & create earthquakes.
