Description[]
Tak VS Goemon. Battle of the short, comedic, magic using guys who like to club their foes.
Introduction[]
"Death Battle Opening Theme"
Wiz: "Tak, the mighty warrior of the Pupununu People"
Boomstick: "And Goemon, the ninja who saved Edo from poverty."
Wiz: "Magic is a complicated art. It comes in all kinds of unpredictable shapes and sizes."
Boomstick: "But even then, there's still something special about just whacking your foes to death."
Wiz: "For this match up, we will be focusing solely on the video games and not the TV shows. This will also be a one on one with no help."
Boomstick: "That means no summoning Juju spirits or summoning a ninja megazord. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!"
Wiz: "And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win...a Death Battle!"
Tak[]
(Pupununu Village Ost)
Wiz: "Some heroes are born. Some heroes are made."
Boomstick: "And some make it up as they go."
Wiz: "These words match few as much they do a young wild boy named Tak."
(Wild One)
Boomstick: "I'm a real wild boy, wild boy, wild boy. Heh, heh, even out in the wilderness, everyone needs an awesome theme song. I'm a real Boomstick, Boomstick, Boomstick..."
Background[]
- Home: Pupununu Village
- Height: 2.5 ft
- Weight: Unknown
- Occupation: Errand boy...Mighty Warrior!
- Age: Teenager
- Likes: Sandboarding, snowboarding, and committing animal cruelty.
- Dislikes: Nerbils, Woodies, and sweeping Jibolba's hut.
Wiz: "Okay...Tak was born in the peaceful forest village of the Pupununu. Raised by none other than the village High Shaman, Jibolba."
Boomstick: "You'd think that would mean he'd be a magic apprentice going on all sorts of wild adventures, right? Well you'd be wrong. He was just an errand boy who did tedious things he asked."
Wiz: "But things changed one day when the evil Shaman Tlaloc cursed the village."
Boomstick: "Long story short, Tlaloc was another Shaman in the Pupununu village who wanted to be the High Shaman. But he got out voted by Jibolba because he practiced bad Juju. So of course he got jealous and decided to take revenge."
Wiz: "Drawing power from the plants of the Dark Temple, he cursed all the villagers. Turning them both body and mind into sheep."
Boomstick: "Now that's both an effective and funny way to get your revenge. This guy knows what's up."
Wiz: "Luckily Jibolba's magic even though weakened was able to save himself and 2 others from this curse. It was then he looked to the Pupununu Peoples prophecy, which foretold of a Mighty Warrior trained by the High Shaman who would save their people from such a fate."
Boomstick: "And that warrior was...Lok.
Wiz: "Lok had been trained by Jibolba his whole life in preparation for this very prophecy."
Boomstick: "But one thing after another just kept getting in the way of him even starting his journey. So Tak, being the dedicated Errand boy he is, was sent by Jibolba to collect what was needed to help him."
Arsenal[]
- Staff of the Ancestors
- Spirit Rattle
- Everlasting Fire Acorns
- Amulet of the Champion
- Magical Bolas
- Dream Shaker
Wiz: "Under the guidance of Flora, daughter of the Moon Juju, he set out on his journey. Collecting a number of useful weapons. Like the Staff of the Ancestors. A useful weapon that can be used as a bo staff, a pole vault pole, and even a blow dart."
Boomstick: "And his choice of ammunition is none other than...acorns! Yeah, the Squirrels have given him an unlimited supply of their ultimate weapon. And if the standard version wasn't deadly enough, he can shoot flaming ones, too."
Wiz: "He also carries Bolas made with magical stones. Which can be use to attack enemies, tie up multiple enemies as if he's throwing multiple bolas. He can even pull himself towards objects and enemies, or pull enemies to himself."
Boomstick: "He also wears the Amulet of the Champion, which doubles his speed and increases his jumps. But like Link's sword, it only works when he's at maximum health. And like Link's Triforce, Tak's amulet protects him from transformation spells."
Wiz: "But his most versatile weapon is the spirit rattle. A powerful Juju item he...uh...borrowed from the Tree Village Shaman. "
Powers & Abilities[]
Spirit Rattle
- Restoration Dance (75 Mana)
- Summon Coconut (50 Mana)
- Crazy Feet (1 Mana per second)
- Thunder Strike (50 Mana)
- Spirit Strike (150 Mana)
- Stunner (20 Mana)
Amulet of the Champion
- Speed, jumping, and power boosting
- Transformation protection
Spirit Animal
- Jaguar
Boomstick: "It might sound like an oversized baby toy, but it's one of the deadliest magic items ever. Capable of casting all kinds of Juju spells. My personal favorite is the one where he creates explosive coconuts to throw at anything or anyone standing in his way."
Wiz: "The Restoration Dance as the name suggests involves him doing a short dance that will fully heal him no matter how badly damaged he is. And Crazy Feet increases how fast he can run and how far he can jump."
Boomstick: "He also has Spirit Strike, which shoots freaking GHOOOSTS at your foes like homing missiles. But his most deadly Juju powers are Stunner and Thunder Strike."
Wiz: "The Stunner has Tak release a powerful shockwave that stuns all foes it hits. And the Thunder Strike hits his foes with double the force, while at the same time releasing loud thunder noise."
Boomstick: "You definitely don't wanna be on the receiving end of this whack. Even foes like this Giant Blue Nerbil are sent flying into the air when it makes contact."
Wiz: "After traversing location after location and completing task after task, Tak finally gathered everything that was needed. Doing every single thing Lok was supposed to do in the process."
Boomstick: "Or did he? Because plot twist, it turns out Tak the Mighty Warrior all along."
Wiz: "Yes, as unlikely of a hero he may have seemed to be, Tak was the real Warrior said to have been trained by the High Shaman. Because these Tedious tasks Jibolba sent him out to do was the training he was to receive."
Boomstick: "Yeah I know, the whole I trained you without you even knowing stick. But this one is original in the fact that the old trainer himself didn't even know it was happening."
Wiz: "After learning this, he traveled to the Dark Temple and took down Tlaloc."
Boomstick: "Pulling a complete Uno Reverse on him, Tak turned everyone back to normal and turned Tlaloc into a Sheep instead. And then left him between 4 Rams who wanted to have their way with him. I can honestly say that out of all the villain L's we've seen on this show, that was definitely the biggest and funniest."
Wiz: "And yet, it wouldn't be the last one either. Because Tak's adventures didn't stop there."
Boomstick: "Yeah, now that he was the Mighty Warrior, old Jibolba actually started teaching him how to be a real Shaman."
Wiz: "While Tak originally needed a supply of Mana Feathers to use Juju magic, he developed his own natural supply. Although nowhere near as plentiful as what he can do with the former, it's quick to replenish and is enough for some of his deadliest spells."
Boomstick: "When going Juju mode, he can double everything about him. How fast he can move even if he's riding something. How hard he hits with any kind of attack he uses. And he's even learned some new techniques."
Wiz: "He can preform the classic double jump and even glide a short distance as if floating. Throw balls of magic balls at his foes without wasting any Mana. And has learned some fighting techniques for disarming foes."
Boomstick: "One of which is the Aerial Kick, which sends him flying at them a powerful drop kick. And when adding Juju power to it, he hits the ground so hard it creates a shock wave that can send foes flying upwards."
Wiz: "With Juju Bolts, he summons lightning to strike his foes. And he can also cast freezing spells that slow all enemies around him by a large proportion."
Boomstick: "He can even summon barrels of explosive powered to blast through opponents and obstacles alike. Sigh. I can only dream."
Wiz: "And you might meet Tak while you're dreaming. As he's visited the the Dream World, and he was given the choice of 4 different animal spirits. While there's no canon choice as to what choice he made, the most effective one seems to be the Jaguar.
Boomstick: "As the name suggests, he summons a ghostly kitty to claws all near by foes. And it one shots most things it hits."
Wiz: "But what is possibly his greatest Juju is the ability to respawn."
Boomstick: "We're not joking here. This guys has learned Juju that literally revives him from the dead the moment he's killed. Just watch.
Wiz: "Indeed. If any sort of death befalls him, he'll revive and in a safe location not far from where he died. And despite the absurdity of this Juju, it doesn't drain any Mana for usage."
Boomstick: "Falling, drowning, burning to death, this guys magic has grown to a point where he's literally made death into a joke. Seriously! Just what can't this midget in a skirt do?"
Feats[]
- Survived a boulder busting explosion
- Easily landed a fall out of the sky
- Can walk barefooted on molten rock for a short time
- Defeated Tlaloc, Pins & Needles, the Dream Guardian, and the Black Mist Tribe
Wiz: "Not much given the feats he's accomplished. He can survived multiple explosive barrels, each on their own being able to destroy large boulders.
