T-1000 Vs The Spy is a What-If? Death Battle between the T-1000 from the Terminator Series, and The Spy from Team Fortress 2.Template:Battle Template

Description[]

A battle between two masters of disguise, both ready to pull off the most dangerous tasks all for the success of their superiors. Will Spy be Terminated, or shall T-1000's death clock run out? Find out in this Death Battle!

Intro[]

Skunk: When you think of smart, stealthy and blending in, who is the first person you think of?

Skel: Obviously these two we got here today, they are masters of blending in and killing their targets.

Skunk: The T-1000, Liquid Metal Terminator.

Skel: And The Spy, Snazzy Suit Wearing Smoker from Team Fortress. He's Skunk and I'm Skel!

Skunk: And it's our job to research their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win, a Death Battle!

T-1000 Terminates Death Battle![]

Skel: You know the Terminator series, the series that should have ended on the 2nd movie?

Skunk: Yeah, that was a mistake to make any more...

Skel: Anyways, through each movie, a new Terminator was sent to kill off a member of the Connor family, and when the first one didn't work, Skynet had an idea.

Skunk: If a regular robot didn't work, why not send a liquid robot? Genius!

Skel: T-1000 was sent to kill off John Connor, seeking him down, learning all he could.

Skunk: He was able to track down John and the T-800 multiple times, but they always were able to get away, no matter how hard the T-1000 tried.

Skel: You'd think they would send a superior model that could beat the T-800, but this one was less strong and more cunning.

T-1000's Liquid Body[]

  • Can shapeshift his body however he wants
    • Can turn his arms into blades and hooks
    • Can make his body into sharp shapes
  • Can take the form of anybody he has physically touched
    • Allows them to mimic voices
  • Body can fix itself
    • Nearly any damage inflicted to the body can repair nearly instantly
      • Head was split in half by a shotgun, but it fused back to normal in a few seconds
      • After taking 7 shotgun shots to the torso, his body recovered in around 5 seconds

Skunk: His body is special, due to being a A mimetic poly-alloy.

Skel: Pretty much a liquid metal that can shape itself however it wants. It can make its arms into blades or hooks to stab stuff and mimic people he touches.

Skunk: One of the most unique parts of his body is how it can simply reform itself to normal, so he can be shot in the face, have his head split open, get shot several times, and the body will form itself back, as if he never took damage in the first place.

Skel: He can make himself any shape he wants, make himself sound however he wants and come back from being blown to bits, what could stop this thing?

Skunk: We haven't even gone over what the T-1000 is capable of yet.

T-1000's Feats[]

  • Can keep up with a car for a short bit
  • Can force elevator doors open
  • While fighting against the T-800, they caused massive dents in walls as the smashed each other into them
    • They eventually also went through one of the walls, and neither showed signs of damage
  • Can easily toss around the T-800, which weighs 172kg
  • Was able to catch up to Young John Connor while John got a head start
    • John was running, while the T-1000 was walking
  • Can briefly keep up with a dirt bike
  • Came back after a truck exploded while he was inside it
  • Came back from being frozen then shattered to bits

Skel: Yeah, he can keep up with bikes and cars, at least for a bit, until they get too fast.

Skunk: He is able to easily toss around other Terminators, force elevator doors open and toss the T-800 through walls.

Skel: He also has come back from insane stuff, like being frozen and falling apart, taking multiple shots to the face and torso and even coming back from a truck exploding while he was inside it.

Skunk: He also has successfully tricked people to thinking he is a human, but that isn't really something important here.

Skel: He is unstoppable!

Skunk: It seems like it, but he isn't.

T-1000's Flaws[]

  • While he comes back from damage, it can take time
  • High temperatures can melt him
  • Can be permanently killed if submerged in a hot liquid

Skel: Oh, right, I guess so.

Skunk: He has still been delayed by getting damaged and he can be melted down if the temperature gets too high.

Skel: While he can come back from that if he gets away from the heat, he can't do so if he gets trapped in hot liquids, causing him to melt into it, pretty much killing him.

Skunk: While he can be stopped, it'll take a hell of a lot to do so, he will hunt you down until the very last of his body is gone, he won't stop until he achieves his goal.

The T-1000 is shown walking out of a flaming truck wreckage.

The Spy Cloaks Into Death Battle![]

Skunk: I've considered lots of things to be impossible, time travel, teleportation, even invisibility, but I've been proven wrong many times.

Skel: Cos you're always wrong!

Skunk: Shut up. Anyways, one thing that always is surprising, is how well this has been done, especially with people like The Spy.

Spy: Gentlemen

Skel: He is a mean french murder machine, full of tricks and blades, not to mention his highly notable smoking addiction, I mean, how many cigarettes does he smoke?

Skunk: Too many honestly, but anyways, this strange and unknown man has proven to everyone he isn't just a snake. He is a deadly poison snake who can be as tricky as a fox, as smart as a whip, and sharp as his knives.

Skel: His weapons are not just guns and roses, they are super advanced tech and blades.

Spy's Weapons[]

  • Cloak Watch
    • Can render Spy invisible
  • Dead Ringer
    • Spy is able to fake his own death with this
  • Revolver
    • Basic 6 shot hand-gun
  • Sapper
    • Can disable most machines
  • Disguise Kit
    • Allows him to disguise as anybody
  • Knife
    • Can be used to backstab and instantly kill foes

Skunk: His weapons include things such as a simple revolver, a knife, and a cloak watch.

Skel: Sorry, cloak watch? What the hell is that?

Skunk: It is simple really, it allows Spy to be rendered invisible, so long as he doesn't bump into anybody that is.

Skel: Oh, well he also has a sapper, that can disable pretty much any machine, even killer robots, but only for a limited time.

Skunk: Spy's weapons have been proven to be very effective against foes, able to trick and take them out one by one.

Skel: He is a lean, mean, deadly backstabbing machine, and he has plenty of feats to prove that.

Spy's Feats[]

  • Able to kill someone with a toothbrush
  • Survived Soldier's Rocket (Barely)
  • Red Spy took down most of the blue team by himself
  • Can instantly kill people with a single backstab, even robots
  • Can survive atomic weapons hitting him
  • Can take hits from other mercenaries
  • Beat Sniper in a knife fight
  • Killed Engineer before he could react

Skunk: He has killed others before they could even react to him, taken hits from weapons able to atomize people, and instantly kill people with just a stab with a small knife to the back.

Skel: Honestly a guy as skinny as a pencil should not be able to do what he does, like, he survived a damn rocket! How did he live!

Skunk: Honestly he is just one of those people who are way too strong for their own good, but still, he isn't without his flaws, that's for sure.

Spy's Flaws[]

  • Sappers are only useful when against tech
  • Not meant for close-combat
  • Disguise instantly is removed if he attacks
  • Invisibility requires Spy to stand still for it to recharge, or it will make him slightly visible
  • Dead Ringer makes a really loud noise when Spy de-cloaks with it
  • He cannot attack while invisible

Skel: Yeah, while invisible he isn't able to attack, and if he attacks while disguised, he will lose his disguise, which isn't good in some situations.

Skunk: His Dead Ringer makes a really loud sound when he becomes visible, which can give away his location easily.

Skel: He also isn't meant for close quarters combat, given how he must keep a low profile, and he mainly is used to sneaking and surprise attacks.

Skunk: With this, he may be deadly, but he should always note to never try to go face to face with dangerous foes, that's a death sentence for him.

Spy is shown killing a Heavy with his knife taunt.

Intermission[]

Skunk: Alright the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Skel: It's time for a Death Battle!!!

Fight[]

Location: Red Base

Spy is seen stood looking at the intelligence, arms crossed, cigarette in-between fingers, and a serious look. He hears an electronic noise, and raises an eyebrow, before turning and seeing electric sparks. He takes out his revolver, and cocks it. T-1000 then appears from a time sphere. Spy walks up slowly, but stops a few feet away.

Spy: Who are you, what are you doing here?

T-1000 looks directly at Spy, stone-cold blank expression.

T-1000: Your information is classified, you are a threat to Skynet.

Spy: I'm guessing you are here to kill me then.

Spy walks back a few steps, and slowly aims his revolver, while T-1000 stands staring.

Fight!!!

T-1000 starts to run at Spy, as Spy shoots at them, making some holes, but T-1000 still charges forward. Spy's revolver runs out of ammo, and he jumps out of the way, as T-1000 tries to slice Spy with arm blades. Spy then gets up quickly and reloads. T-1000 turns their arms back to normal, and he turns to Spy. Spy then shoots T-1000's knees, but it doesn't do anything. Spy gets a very annoyed look on his face, as he loads the two bullets back in his revolver, and T-1000's bullet holes all close up. T-1000 wags their finger at Spy.

Spy: Merde...

T-1000 then grabs a pistol on a table and shoots at Spy, who narrowly avoids the bullets. Spy and T-1000 have a shoot off, running around and shooting, as bullets hit each other. Spy then stops shooting for a moment, and ducks. T-1000 misses a shot, and as they lower the gun to aim at Spy, Spy shoots the gun's barrel, jamming it. T-1000 looks at the gun as it clicks, then tosses it aside.

Spy: You're no match for me, a master of tricks and deception!

Spy then goes invisible, and the T-1000 looks around the room, hearing Spy's laugh and footsteps. T-1000 then attempts to hit Spy with his blade arm, but the blade gets stuck in a wall. Spy uncloaks and slams a sapper on T-1000's back. T-1000 glitches, their body rapidly changing colour and shape. Spy then shoots the head 6 times, and T-1000 falls to the ground, melting to a puddle. Spy walks over and looks at it.

Spy: Disgusting.

Spy turns, walking a few steps, before he hears a metallic noise, and turns again to see T-1000 has reformed. Spy looks at this with a shocked face, but regains composure and takes out a spycicle. T-1000 runs up and slashes Spy's chest, making him bleed badly. T-1000 starts to punch up Spy, making Spy grunt as he is hit. T-1000 then turns his arm into a blade, and lunges forward, impaling Spy, as his body falls down.

T-1000: My mission is accomplished, trying to fight back against me, and where did that get you?

A very loud de-cloak is heard, and Spy uncloaks behind the T-1000.

Spy: Right behind you.

Before the T-1000 could turn, Spy backstabs them with the spycicle, and the T-1000 freezes entirely. Spy looks at the frozen robot, and scoffs.

Spy: What a waste of perfectly good metal...

Spy then lightly taps the T-1000, making it fall over and shatter on the ground. Spy then walks out the room, flicking his cigarette behind him, as it goes out right by part of the T-1000's frozen head.

K.O!

Conclusion[]

Skel: Damn sneaky bastard, really was thinking the T-1000 would get this.

Skunk: Now we do admit, there is plenty of scenarios that the T-1000 could have beaten Spy, but the end fact is that Spy was simply too tricky for T-1000 to catch, before Spy could put an end to him.

Skel: While T-1000 was liquid metal and hard to put down, Spy did have some options to get him, like his sapper, which could buy Spy some time to think up a strategy, and his watch could let him hide away to give more time to think.

Skunk: Trust us, Spy may be weak in hand-to-hand combat, but the T-1000 is weak when it comes to things such as extreme temperatures, which can freeze it or melt it, so Spy could certainly figure it out, not to mention the Dead Ringer could supply Spy with a good fake-out on the T-1000, as it has never known a gadget like that.

Skel: Spy also had more weapons, and while Spy's weapons couldn't put his foe down, they could stall the T-1000 until Spy figures out the weakness, freezing the T-1000.

Skunk: Spy may not be super genius, but even a basic person can understand liquid is able to be frozen, and Spy's spycicle was the best shot at that. So while the T-1000 was hard to put down quickly, and difficult to go against in face-to-face combat, Spy's weaponry and stealth skills was the perfect mix of advantages to win this fight.

Skel: Spy always knew to stay frosty, sadly T-1000 was simply shattered by this defeat.

Skunk: The winner is The Spy!
