History[]

In 2029, the war between humans and the machines of the malevolent rogue AI Skynet has reduced the Earth to a scorched wasteland. In an attempt to prevent the rise of John Connor, Skynet sends a T-1000 Terminator back to the year 1995, 11 years after Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) and Kyle Reese destroyed the original Terminator that was programmed to kill Sarah, this time set to strike at John himself.

During the final chase the Conners and T-800 battle the T-100 at a steel mill, which ends up being very lucky for them. Sarah shoots at the T-1000 until she's out of shotgun shells, almost toppling it into a molten steel vat. The T-800 blasts the T-1000 with a grenade launcher which causes it to deform and lose balance, and fall into the molten steel vat. They all watch the T-1000 flail helplessly in the molten steel until it melts, ultimately destroying it.

Skynet stopped producing the T-1000 prototypes almost immediately after creating it, as it was aware of the T-1000's highly advanced intelligence and learning capabilities compared to other Terminator models and feared they might go rogue

Death Battle Info[]

Background[]

  • Real name: T-1000, Advanced Prototype
  • Height: Variable
  • Weight: Varies
  • Gender: None, takes a Male appearance
  • Age: created in 2029, then sent back in time. Age could be a few days or months.
  • Species: Cybernetic entity

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Capable of shapeshifting and near-perfect mimicry, including voices, of people or objects that come into contact with it
  • Its morphing abilities are limited by complexity, mass, and volume: it cannot transform into complex machines with mechanical moving parts or chemical fuels (such as guns or bombs), limiting it to stabbing weapons
  • Its volume prevents it from taking the form of a smaller object like a pack of cigarettes, although it is capable of impersonating larger people
  • It can also use its own body to form independent weapons and gadgets, such as a spear or a tracking device
  • It also possesses superhuman strength, greater than that of the T-800, despite its more-slender frame and smaller stature
  • Can run at speeds of at least 40 mph
  • It can morph its arms into solid metal tools or bladed weapons
  • It can flatten itself and imitate the pattern and texture of the ground to hide or to ambush targets
  • Capable of espionage and detective skills
  • Capable of accurately mimicking voices
  • Ambushes an officer of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and takes on his identity
  • Kills quickly and with stealth, when executing the security guards he stabs the man in a way that will not lead to screaming or too much mess
  • Can withstand fire, up to a point, such as when emerging from the burning truck wreckage and the fire at Cyberdyne
  • Light, very rapid-firing high-penetration rounds such as 5.56X45 mm from an automatic M16 quickly pass straight through the T-1000's liquid metal body with minimum effect, if any damage is even sustained
  • Can create extra arms to perform tasks, such as flying a helicopter whilst reloading a gun
  • Features a liquid molecular brain with advanced reasoning capabilities, emotions such as humor, and even self-awareness
  • Can convert a section of its body into a liquid metal state to avoid blows or engulf enemies
  • Is able to use any part of itself to "scan" for information, including reading how to operate devices as seen in the police car
  • Takes a shotgun blast in the face at point-blank range. Though its head split fully apart, it remained unfazed, and, reforming, pursued the protagonists once more
  • Survived a grenade blast to the torso
  • Lost a part of its 'arm' and was able to reabsorb it
  • Shattering a frozen T-1000 will require its self-preservation protocols kick in to compensate for critical damage, but will be insufficient to destroy it.
  • Can move around in liquid form
  • The T-1000 is an exceptionally skilled driver, capable of carrying out actions with its vehicles that would be too dangerous for a human to perform.
  • IT is also a proficient helicopter pilot. During the chase at the end of the film, it is able to pursue Sarah, John and the T-800's truck, even flying under overpasses, while also firing and reloading its gun using extra arms it formed for this purpose.

Flaws/Weaknesses[]

  • Extremely low temperatures of -196 degrees Celsius (such as those produced by liquid nitrogen) could freeze a T-1000. Shattering a frozen T-1000 will cause it to suffer from glitches
  • Temperatures in excess of 1535 degrees Celsius, such as those required to smelt iron, could permanently render it inoperative, if it is submerged long enough to melt
  • If the temperature isn't high enough to smelt metal, burning can temporarily disable the mimetic abilities
  • Only one made, due to Skynet's fear of the prototype
  • When it loses mass it becomes less efficient, as this equates to loss of brain function
  • Slow rate-of-fire, heavy-hitting but accurate rounds such as an anti-tank .50 BMG, .45 ACP, .38 special, .357 magnum and point-blank 12 gauge shotgun blasts appear to be the most effective at slowing it down
  • Has difficulty keeping its weight balance if its shape is heavily deformed, such as getting shot in the head with a shotgun, or if its torso absorbs a grenade and then explodes. In such cases, the T-1000 will be temporarily disabled
