Wiz: all masters of stealth must be skilled in the ways of assassination, survival, stealth.
Boomstick: and the combatants today have become experts in all areas of these.
Wiz: Styx, the lethal goblin Thief of the shadows
Boomstick: and Black star, the hyped up assassin of Soul eater.
Wiz: i'm wizard and he's boomstick and its our job to analyze their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win a death battle.
Styx []
Wiz: the world was dark and grim, the land ravaged by the war between the human kingdoms and the orcs of the north.
After years of fighting between the two the human's won the war thanks to their alliance with the dwarves, wimps, couldn't fight the big green guys yourself so you have to call for backup, like those wimpy players from every first person shooter ever.
Wiz: anyway after the war was over several orcs were captured and imprisoned by the humans to be slaves for their ever growing empire, the world needed someone who could free the orcs from human oppression, someone who could fight for them, and they got styx
Boomstick: styx was once an orc scholar in one of the free orc villages, he lived a proud life but he had a pretty bad problem, styx had a terrible, terrible obsession with magic tree drugs.
Wiz: what? no he's not addicted to magic tree drugs he's obsessed with amber, the sap, and its not drugs either!
Boomstick: eh, tomato tomato
Wiz: uh, Amber is an ethereal type sap that flows from the world tree a massive mystic plant so rare, there are only a few in the entire world, unlike real life amber this kind is embedded with magical abilities, it can grant its wielder several unique abilities though at the cost of having an amber scar permanently stain your face.
Boomstick: wait they drink it? isn't that sticky, cause i tried to drink some sap one time from the tree in my backyard, not only was it sticky but it had some weird itchy effect on my hands.
Wiz: that's because the tree you got the sap from is covered in poison ivy bushes.
Boomstick: oh yeah forgot to trim those last summer.
Wiz: after Styx's birthday he set out into the world in hopes of discovering the world tree to finally understand the secrets of amber, but along the way he ran into a minor setback, styx's constant use of amber and experimentation began to change styx, turning him from a tall proud orc to a shriveled pathetic goblin.
Boomstick: Styx hated his new form and vowed that he would somehow change himself back to his once orc self and so he resumed his qeust to find the world tree and discover its secrets.
Wiz: and so after 200 years styx finally reached his goal, the location of the world tree, the atrium of akanash, a massive floating fortress of the human empire.
Boomstick: seriously, it took him 200 years to get there, did he crawl the whole way?
Wiz: once inside styx used his amber abilities to create a clone of himself and used it to carry out his dirty work communicating with him via telepathic bond, after convincing the clone to free him from his cell, the clone and styx met face to face, styx explained to the clone what he was and why he created him.
Boomstick: yeah but the clone didn't really like the idea of being made only to do the bidding of others and killed styx after releasing millions of goblins from the amber lake at the world tree.
Wiz: after the clone came to took some time trying to understand what exactly happened, he had lost most of him memory during the fight but one thing stuck in his head, the name styx. so he believed it was his name.
Boomstick: after taking some time to understand what had happened styx dawned his trusty knife and assorted together a vast array of weaponry, setting out into the world destined to become the greatest theif in the world.
Wiz: thanks to his natural goblin nature styx discovered he was exceptional at the art of infiltration, he is known for getting into places designed to be unfindable and escaping near death situations.
Boomstick: he's also really good at killing people, styx is known far and wide for being one of the deadliest assassin's in his world, he can sneak past several targets at once and take them out without making a sound.
Wiz: aside from his normal stealth and speed styx perfers to only go into mission's with the necassary tools, and so he usely keeps his load light.
Boomstick: Styx's bread and butter weapon is his knife, forged by orc blacksmiths's and outfitted with styx's own desgin, his dagger is embeded with hardened amber, this grant's styx additonal amber for any kill he dishes out. and in case he needs some more tools for helping and killing, styx is packing an entire arsenal of useful contraptions, he's got a wrist mounted crossbow which can fire regular or poison bolts, his throwing knives can hit targets across entire courtyards with bullseye accuracy, acid vials for dissolving corpses, throwing sand to put out lights.
Wiz: styx also carries glassware which is useful for distracting opponents and he carries several diffrent vials, the vial of health heals wounds and broken bones, the vial of amber renews his amber levels and he even has dwarvish cologine to hide his scent.
Boomstick: but the greatest weapon he has is the acid mine, invented by styx himself anyone who steps on one of these bad boys has about 0.5 seconds before they get melted into complete nothing, even steel armour can't survive it, and after visiting a certain wizard harry potter, styx gained the cloak of invisibility!
Wiz: what? he never met harry potter and he didn't get the cloak from him.
Boomstick: well then where did he get the cloak from, a dungeon?
Wiz: yes, he found it while exploring the city of korragar in a dungeon, and while its unknown how the game developers did not get sued for this the cloak is by far styx's most advantageous, the cloak is made of a thin layer of elf created cloth that can make styx invisible indefinitely as long as he doesn't move, however the cloth is so light it offers little protection from piercing weapons.
Boomstick: which is why styx also has a second set of clothing for these situations, the thoben jerkin, this outfit specializes in adaptability having no drawbacks along with it, the jerkin has armour plating at the joints and shoulders to protect against attacks and has a second dagger just in case, and remember how we said the cloak can enhance his invisibility, well he can do that himself too.
Wiz: while unknown to most amber isn't just an addictive sap, thousands of years ago before humans existed the first elves learned how to manipulate the amber within them for devastating powers, but the technique was lost long ago.
Boomstick: that is until the original's dicking around and experimenting let loose those same powers within him and when he died, styx got all of them.
Wiz: through this connection with the amber styx can tap into its full power and it grants him numerous abilities, he can use amber vision to see through walls and detect a person's internal energy, he can turn invisible for short periods of time and can create clones of himself ranging from one at a time to 20 at once.
Boomstick: the amber also boosts styx's natural abilities too, he can jump huge distances, outrun arrows, and has stupidly high durability, he's fallen several stories, been impaled, shot and after falling thousands of feet out of the tower of akenash he survived having the whole thing fall on him, seriously! look at that thing!
Wiz: the tower of akenash is on a massive chunk of earth suspended in the air that floats several thousand feet off the ground, surviving the fall is impressive enough without having the tower fall on him. however the amber was styx's trump card in combat until a meeting with a shapeshifting elf known as Djarek gifted styx another.
Boomstick: on their first encounter Djarek used a magic staff infused with quartz to subdue styx, which is impressive enough considering quartz weapons normally make goblins lose all control in their bodies.
Wiz: after styx caught up with Djarek for revenge he stole the quartz around his neck and once he got back to his ships he began experimenting with the quartz, testing what it could do, after tasting the ground up shards the energy of the quartz rushed through styx's body, amplifying his powers and making him stronger and faster.
Boomstick: and once he had a taste of it styx wanted more quartz for himself, he went deep into the mines of korranger, searching for the raw mineral, and after sneaking past and killing a few roabies, giant bugs with super ears he found a lot of pure quartz, the only downside was it happened to be one the neck of a giant elf eating insect that spits acid called the queen of the roabies.
Wiz: after a brutal fight, styx defeated and killed the monstrosity and stole the quartz around its neck. afterwards styx succeeded in using the pure quartz to permanently enhance himself, after consuming a formula of pure quartz and amber, the pure quartz within styx allows him to use all of his amber abilities without ever draining his supply.
Boomstick: after going through all these crazy and insane adventures, styx has more than earned his reputation as the deadliest assassin in the world, he's assassinated hundreds of targets without a trace of ever being there, defeated giant opponents like the queen of the roabies and a dwarf war golem, and he's even snuck through a town of dwarf goblin hunters who could smell him a mile away.
Wiz: He's even gone through the labyrinth, an insanely difficult series of trials designed to only be completely highly skilled elf warriors, who he killed while he was in the maze.
Boomstick: styx also has experience in close quarters combat, he's an expert at dodging and parrying with his dagger, at his best he can take out an entire group of dark elves with nothing but his dagger.
Wiz: and while he may seem as the rough and tumble, do nothing by the book type, styx is actually extremely smart, he's a genius alchemist and inventor who's come up with amazing creations like his quartz formula and rapid fire crossbow, not to mention styx has all the memories from his past self who was also an inventor and an orc scholar, so in addition to his knowledge in combat and alchemy, he's also got the history of the orcs too.
Boomstick: Jesus, is there anything this guy can't do?
Wiz: well yes, as much of a badass styx is, he's still not the most stable of individuals, styx can be brought down with enough force and has a distinct disadvantage of being overwhelmed, also styx can get a bit cocky at times and this usually leads to him getting into trouble.
Boomstick: still, he's managed to survive for 350 years in a world that wants to dissect, desintegrate, and butcher him everyday, i don't know about you, but i'll be thinking twice before i cross this goblin's path.
Styx: (I'll be back)
Black star[]
Wiz when it comes to ninja assassins while they all differ in terms of their equipment, how they kill and why, they all follow the same three rules when on any mission, be silent, be quick, never be noticed by the one your going to kill.
Boomstick: and absolutely none of these three very simple instructions is ever followed by the would be assassin of the DWMA, black star.
Wiz: while it is true that black star technically holds the rank of ninja assassin, he doesn't exactly go about it the way normal ones do.
Boomstick: seriously how can you call yourself a ninja, literally meaning person who is deadly and never gets caught when you announce your arrival into the place you sneak into and tell the person your going to kill that your going to be killing them?
Wiz: true black stars approach into assassination isn't exactly your typical by the book ninja's. in fact the literal definition of ninja is a warrior from Japan who utilizes the shadows as their weapon, however black star does not follow this approach.
Boomstick: yeah he's boneheaded, a dumbass and terrible at being sneaky, you'd think all these paired up would make the worst assassin ever, but he is somewhat good at fighting.
Wiz: black star's fighting prowess may not be taken directly on assassination but he has become an adept and powerful fighter when it comes to close range combat.
Boomstick: which shouldn't be such a surprise as black star hails from a clan who are all experts in the ways of fighting and assassinating, too bad their morals weren't a bit better.
Wiz: true, while black star's family clan known by most as the star clan were deadly and powerful fighters in every way, they didn't exactly use these skills and power for good.
Boomstick: some of the star clans favorite ways of having fun included raiding and burning villages to the ground, performing public executions and sometimes just slaughtering the innocent for shits and giggles, fun times huh?
Wiz: hoping to prevent black star from living a life of regret and sorrow, black stars parents sent him out of the clan to grow up among normal people and to hopefully keep the clan's dark past from wreaking havoc on his life.
Boomstick: yeah didn't really work out as they hoped though, even though black star wasn't out chopping heads off the innocent and raiding villages, he was still shunned by people and treated as an outcast, why you ask? cause when he was little they branded his shoulder with the star clan's tattoo, so his social life was pretty much screwed from the start.
Wiz: despite the constant bullying by the only people not terrified of him black star soon realized the only way to be accepted was to bury his family names legacy, by replacing it with his own, on that faithful day black star realized what his true purpose in life was, he would become the greatest at what he did and one day would surpass God.
Boomstick: yeah i don't see that happening anywhere in this guys future, i mean he knows who god is right, the dude who can literally lift his finger and destroy him in an instant along with the rest of the universe!
Wiz: while black star may not have set the most realistic goal, he still would grow to be a powerful warrior, he headed to death weapon meister academy, the school that teaches students how to harness their inner energy and is run by the grim reaper.
Boomstick: that guy is the grim reaper?
Wiz: yes he is, and once registered in the school black star was soon partnered with a weapon known as tsubaki.
Boomstick: woah, you sure he got assigned her and didn't just pick her himself?
Wiz: ahem, looks aside tsubaki is one of the most lethal weapons in the academy, what sets her apart from the rest is the fact that she has multiple forms, she can transform into a kusarigama, a tanto, a smoke bomb mode for stealth and even a massive shuriken mode for long range combat.
Boomstick: but hold on, your forgeting the best form, after a quick fight with her brother, this badass ninja guy who could turn into an awsome sword, tsubaki gained acsess to the ultimate weapon, the enchanted sword form.
Wiz: the enchated sword form allows black star to fight with blinding fast speeds and the ability to use shadow strike, a vicous technique that summons several spiked tendrils for additional attacking might, but for all the power it has the enchanted sword has a serious downside.
Boomstick: using the sword for too long wears black star down really fast and he can only use it in short instances, with the acception of when he resonates with his friends.
Wiz: but considering maka and death the kid won't be showing up today to help him out he can't resonate to that level.
Boomstick: but even without his friends or even his weapon, black star is still a super deadly fighter, thanks to his soul energy.
Wiz: Black star is one of the few meisters in the soul eater world to be able to use his soul wave energy without the assistance of a weapon, this allows black star to fight to the best of his abilities.
Boomstick: one of his favorite is the black star big wave, an attack that puts all of his wavelength into one devastating punch so hard, it can shatter black blood, blood that's so hard it can become harder than steel.
Wiz: or the world destruction cannon palm strike, which can attack and damage far more powerful meisters and enemy types.
Boomstick: with all these awesome and cool abilities, black star has gotten through some pretty awesome feats, he's strong enough to lift huge rocks and hit hard enough to break an entire spike off the academy, he's fast enough to move at mach 10 speeds when resonating and he's even taken down the ninja warrior mifune after their third encounter.
Wiz: through his sheer determination he's toughed out against blows powerful enough to put down any ordinary human, he's endurded a beating from mosqutio, and been hit by death the kid hard enough to embedd him into the ground.
Boomstick: he's even managed to tank hits from asura, a kishin powerful enough to beat the grim reaper in combat and nearly destroy a city while he's at it.
Wiz: black star survived a hit from asura while at full power and he wasn't even that hurt, before that asura fired an attack that not only reached the moon but even managed to damage it, after taking in the size of the soul eater moon and comparing it with ours asura's attack that hit black star must have been equal to over 5,000 tons of force, and not only can he take that much damage he can deal it out too.
Boomstick: but for all his incredible power and brute force black star is anything but a perfect fighter, mostly due to his massive ego which clouds his judgement every single time they fight, and he's also not the brightest too.
Wiz: while black star may appear not the smartest kid in the academy and he certainly isn't, he actually does study for tests at the academy and has a fair share of combat knowledge, he just doesn't use it.
Boomstick: why the hell wouldn't he! i mean can you imagine how unstoppable this kid would be if he just used a little bit of his brain!
Wiz: while its unknown why black star choose's not to use his brain while mid fight, he is still one of the most powerful at the academy, and in the final fight with asura and after defeating Mifune, he finally achived his goal of becoming a warrior god.
Boomstick: yeah don't let that title fool you, he's not a real god, he just gets a more powerful form, but the form did allow him to take out a giant cyclops, never let it be said that this kid isn't a beast!
Black star( i am the great assassin black star! and i've come to assassinate you all!)
Death Battle[]
in arachnaphobia's hideout, mosquito, giriko and arachne wait for their guest, then the doors swing open and in walks a rather short and green visitor who approches the three
Arachne: welcome assassin, may we offer you something to drink?
Styx eyeballed the bottle in mosqutio's hands staring at the red liquid inside.
Styx: no thanks, I perfer a stronger drink.
Arachne: you have been informed of your target correct?
Styx: yeah, some kid at that DWMA academy, blue hair, huge ego?
Mosquito: hold on assassin.
Styx: got a problem with me old man?
Mosquito: we are aware that your skills have earned you quite the reputation throughout the world, and I doubt a skilled master of the shadows such as yourself would go unnoticed by the DWMA, how do we know you aren't involved with the academy, in leauge with the reaper, how can we trust you?
Styx: I'm an assassin, i'm in leauge with whoever has the money i want, and right now thats you guys. To be honest I really don’t care one little bit, I don’t give a shit about the DWMA, I could care less about Arachnophobia, and your war is about as appealing to me as fucking paint drying. As far as the reapers concerned he can bend his mask over and kiss my green ass!
Arachne: very well, after you assassinate the target you may return and will be paid your fee.
Styx: what you guys afraid i can't kill one little kid?
Arachne: better men have failed, surprise us.
Styx: no one is better than me.
styx turned back as he walked out of the room heading for his target.
Giriko: that little pissant has no idea what he's in for, that damn kid is more trouble than that entire academy put together.
Mosquito: he seems confident in his abilities, lets just hope they're enough for him to get the job done, and too much for the brat to handle.
death city, sometime around midnight, black star is up on his roof doing exercies with one hand while tsubaki keeps track.
black star: 1498, 1499, 1500. and that's what makes black star the greatest assassin in the world!
tsubaki: maybe you should spend less time working out and more time reading, all the blood rushing to your brain seems to be making your ego bigger.
black star and tsubaki laughed, unknown to them a hidden figure was watching them looming in the shadows a roof away, he cocked his crossbow and placed a bolt into the shaft, he aimed for the back of tsubaki's neck.
Styx: get rid of the weapon, leave the kid defenceless.
styx fired the bolt as it headed for tsubaki, suddenly she sneezed lurching her head forward and the bolt only grazed the neck.
Tsubaki: ow!
they both whipped their heads around and saw styx running across the roof tops heading for the edge of the city.
black star: tsubaki dagger form!
tsubaki transformed into her dagger form and black star grabbed the weapon running after styx at top speed, styx continued running from roof top to roof top feeling confident he lost the assassin, then he looked behind and saw black star catching up to him.
Styx: alright kid, if thats how you want to play, bring it on!
black star lept at styx as styx turned around and met black star with his dagger.
FIGHT!
Styx and black stars attacks both repeled each other and they were forced back onto their individual roofs as they continued to run extremely fast, styx fired several bolts at black star but he deflected all of them with tsubaki.
Black star: just so you know your not going to win this fight freak!
Styx: and whys that?
Black star: because you are facing off against black star, the greatest assassin in the world and the one who has surpassed god!
Styx: worlds greatest assassin huh? where I come from thats me, and by the end of tonight, its still gonna be me, but hey i'm a decent guy, i'll let you live long enough to prove if you are, show me what you got!
black star lept from the roof onto styx's and the two traded blows with their daggers, black star attempted to uppercut him with tsubaki but styx whacked it away.tsubaki kept monitering the fight until she saw what was ahead.
Tsubaki: uh guys? you better watch where your going!
styx and black star looked up and saw they were approaching a stack of chimneys, they both leaped over the stack and landed in the DWMA courtyard in front of the school, black star assumed a combat pose and styx reloaded his crossbow and drew his amber dagger.
Black star: tsubaki kusarigama mode!
tsubaki transformed from a dagger to her kusarigama form and black star gripped the weapon tightly, black star ran at styx and hurled one end of the chain at him, styx swooped underneath the chain and fired more bolts from his crossbow as black star expertly evaded all of them, black star ran at styx again and began unrelentlessy attacking him with the twin blades, styx ducked and weaved among of attempt until black star brought his fist up from underneath and punched styx in the jaw sending him several feet into the air, black star used the chain to grab styx's foot out of the air and plowed him into the ground. styx punched the ground annoyed and rushed at black star dagger in hand.
Black star: tsubaki smoke bomb mode!
tsubaki went into her smoke bomb mode and black star hurled it at the ground creating a massive smokescreen for him to hide in, styx stopped at the edge of the cloud and activated his amber vision, he scanned the enviornment and found black star sneaking through the cloud to surprise attack him, styx fired an array of bolts directly into the cloud towards him forcing black star to emerge from the smoke.
Styx: lets see how well you handle things you can't see.
styx took a swig from his amber vial and activated his invisiblity, black star looked around confused preparing for styx's attack, while invisible styx through his glassware at a front of the academy, the sound distracted black star as styx ran up behind him and plunged his amber dagger into black star's shoulder.
Black star aaggh!
black star stumbled back as styx reappered smirking.
Black star: you got lucky, but luck isn't enough to take down me!
Styx: we'll see.
black star threw tsubaki at the ground once more and another smoke screen appeared, styx sighed as he activated his amber vision.
Styx: didn't you learn from last time kid, i can see you wherever you hide.
styx looked into the smoke screen but found no trace of black star
Styx: what the?
before styx could even react black star ran at full speed with his hands drawn ready
Black star: Black star big wave!
black star used the black star big wave and once it made contact with styx's skin styx was blown straight off his feet and soared straight through the air plowing into the academy, styx was dazed but soon shook it off and got back on his feet, styx began jumping to the several spikes of the academy using them as stepping stones to gain higher ground, black star turned tsubaki into her shuriken form and threw her at styx as he continued to leap to the spikes tsubaki had almost reached styx at the top spike of the academy when styx lept off the spike, turned and caught tsubaki mid air and threw her back at black star to slice into him, but upon getting close tsubaki simply turned back into her dagger form and black star caught her.
black star chuckled to himself as styx jumped down, confident that styx couldn't match his speed black star again moved at top speed behind styx preparing to strike another attack, when styx teleported out of the way, black star hit thin air as he looked around and saw styx again in another position, he rushed at him soul wave ready and styx simply teleported out of the way again, styx began teleporting all over the courtyard confusing black star, suddenly the teleporting stopped and styx attacked black star from behind, the two met each other head on with their weapons, black star used tsubaki's chain to ensnare styx's dagger and styx followed up by headbutting black star, knocking him back and dazing him, styx ran up and knocked black star down slashing at his torso with his amber dagger.
Black star: ok green guy, this is offically over!
Black star entered his warrior god mode, as his eyes began to glow white he stared at styx who assumed his combat pose, black star moved at styx so fast he had no time to counter, he grabbed styx by his throat and impaled him with tsubaki, styx let out a groan of pain as black star began to pummel him into the ground, after beating him straight into the stone he picked styx back up and punched him hard enough to knock him into the air, black star jumped up following him and brought his foot down on styx so hard it shattered his armour and sent him into the ground so hard it completely destroyed the courtyard, black star landed back down as the warrior god form wore off, styx struggled to get up coughing and wheezing, most of his armour was destroyed.
Black star: ready to give it up and admit I'm the greatest assassin in the world?
Styx: not yet kid, i've got one more trick up my sleeve.
styx took out is amber vial and took a hge swig finishing it off, he threw the bottle aside and lept up out of the crater, styx began to glow yellow and he used the amber to create 25 goblin clones, the clones hissed and snarled at black star,as styx pointed at him.
Styx: get him!
Black star: tsubaki enchanted sword mode now!
the clones all leapt at black star as tsubaki transformed into her ultimate form, black star stood ready with the weapon as the clones attacked, black star began slcing threw the clones one by one taking them out, three leaped at him all at once and he used shadow strike to take them out, some of them managed to claw or bite him but he shrugged the pain off focusing on killing the clones, over and over he sliced and cut through them until only one remained, but it didn't attack, black star didn't care though, he prepared once last powerful slice with the sword, putting all his power into the one hit he ran at the goblin, and sliced it in two. as the enhanted sword form wore off black star reveled in his triumph, oblivious to the goblin figure that soon disentagrated.
Black star: I, the great black star have done it, i've defeated the powerful assassin and i know hold the title of world's greatest assassin, because I, black star am the one who has surpassed Go-
black star was unable to finish as he stepped on an acid trap placed behind him.
Black star: aaaghhh!
the acid stinged black stars skin and forced him to drop to his knees, he gripped the acid area's as he looked off and saw styx approaching holding his throwing knives, black star attempted to get up as styx threw one of the knives straight into black star's leg, and another into his other leg, his arms and threw two into his chest, black star was barely holding on as he attempted to get up still. styx took out his amber dagger and admired it for a moment before looking at black star, he held the dagger like one of his throwing knives and winded up his arm.
Styx: Get the point?
Styx threw the dagger threw the air and plunged it straight into black star's face.

black star slumped over with all the knives sticking out of him, styx walked over and pulled his dagger out of black star's face, as he wiped the blood from his weapon he noticed a silver dagger in black star's hand, styx took the dagger out of his hand and looked it over.
Styx: he's not gonna be needing it anymore, nice craftsmanship.
Tsubaki: you bastard how could you!
Styx: it talks?
styx held tsubaki by the blade and banged it on the ground a few times knocking tsubaki out cold, after taking a drink from his vial of life styx slid tsubaki into one of his knife pockets and headed for arachnids lair to collect his bounty.
Styx: I don’t get paid enough for this shit.

Boomstick: oh man, the fun he is going to have with that thing.
Wiz: styx and black star were both unique and effective fighters, both had the means and abilties that could put the other down but sadly for black star, his just weren't enough to give him the advatage he needed.
Boomstick: first off in terms of actual assassination its no surprise that styx is way better at it than black star who just straight up sucks at it, black star may have had an edge in close quarters combat but styx can take on seven dark elves at the same time and even beat Djarak in close quarters.
Wiz: in terms of intelligence Black star might have been smarter then he looks but styx is over 350 years old and is an inventor, alchemist and former scholar, black stars few years at the DWMA wasn't nearly enough to give him this advantage.
Boomstick: as for speed its true black star moving at mach 10 far outclassed any speed styx has gone at least by normal means, but in styx's fight with his creator he showed that not only can he teleport, but he's also capable of reacting to teleportation abilities, that mixed in with his ability to dodge practically anything fired at him clocks his reaction time at 220,000,000 mph, much faster than anything black star's reacted to or speeds moved at.
Wiz: black star may have been slightly stronger but this wasn't nearly enough to overpower styx. both may have taken on deadly and even planet threatening level danger but it should also be noted that despite his constant bragging about how great he is, he's pretty dependent on his friends and relies on Intel and help in tackling deadlier targets, unlike Styx who has taken down the likes of giant acid spitting roabies and even a laser shooting war golem all on his own. sure he might get help every now and then but when compared to Black star, he's pretty much a one man army.
Boomstick: don't get us wrong black star definitely had the means to put styx down for good, especially with his enchanted sword form and the warrior god mode.
Wiz: but thanks to styx's natural abilities and a little bit of amber he could successfully evade and repel any one of black stars attacks that had a chance of taking him out.
Boomstick: speaking of the enchanted sword there's a good reason black star saves that one for last, the swords energy was so much to contain that after he took care of styx's clones he couldn't even survive styx's next assault nore defend against it, like when he attacked asura after using the sword form and his body was so weak he couldn't even control his own wavelength. wait wiz, wasn't it said that the enchanted sword could cut through almost anything, couldn't it slice through styx's dagger.
Wiz: Doubtful for several reasons, the enchanted sword may have been able to make quick work of certain individuals but the sword can't cut through anything, in fact up against an opponent with high enough durability the sword requires a ridiculous amount of force to slice through tougher material.
Boomstick: like when they fought mosquito and using the enchanted sword form didn't even put a scratch on him.
Wiz: but what really settled this fight was their durability feats and in that black star didn;t stand a chance, at best black star's greatest feat was enduring a hit from asura who only used a weak attack of about 5,000 tons of force at the most.styx's feat of falling out of the tower is much more impressive, the height of the tower of akenash from hovering is about 3,000 feet, the tower itself is as tall as a skyscraper, while it's never named exactly what the tower itself is made of we do know it was designed to be the most secure and impenetrable fortress in human territory so a substantially tough stone would be used such as granite, calculating the width of the tower along with it's weight means that upon ground impact, styx tanked a blow equal to 6,500,000 tons of force, and that's not even calulating the island it was on.
Boomstick: and he was completely fine, not to mention that just before the thing fell Styx absorbed all the amber in the amber lake and even emptied out his own reserves to make that massive amount of clones, meaning that when he took the full force of the impact, he was in his weakest state and had nothing but his own toughness to survive, and thanks to his amber abilities like amber vision and invisibility, it took away any chance black star had of using stealth to take him out.
Wiz: black star put up a good fight but he couldn't hope to handle styx's superior durability, speed and skills.
Boomstick: looks like black star's chances of winning were burned away with fire and styx.
