SpongeBob vs Meggy is a fan made DEATH BATTLE between the lovable sea sponge from Nickelodeon vs the woomy from SMG4. Both characters have prep and are ready for this Death Battle.
Interclude[]
Wiz: SpongeBob SquarePants, Nickelodeon's best and hard working cartoon since 1999.
Boomstick: and Meggy Spletzer, the inkling OC who changed SMG4 as we know it forever.
Wiz: With this matchup, we will have a bunch of chaos with memes and toon force.
Boomstick: Both characters are sports loving cash cows who changed their channels with no hopes of the channel coming back.
Wiz: Both character also love their friends and went on crazy adventures in their life.
Boomstick: They are some really OP characters in their verses. He's Wiz, and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.
SpongeBob Is Ready For DEATH BATTLE![]
(Cue: SpongeBob Trap Remix "Krusty Krab")
Wiz: SpongeBob was an all out classic to the Nickelodeon channel to the point he became the well deserved mascot of it. Fun fact, he was originally gonna be called "SpongeBoy" but then rebranded into "SpongeBob" afterwards.
Boomstick: How is that?
Wiz: Stephen Hillenburg was a marine biologist before getting into cartoons. He worked on Rocko's Modern Life and then eventually created SpongeBob.
Boomstick: Then he got his job at the Krusty Krab which is basically a parody of McDonald's and ever since that episode, SpongeBob was then friends with a bunch of Bikini Bottom folks with the main ones being Patrick, Squidward, Sandy, and Mr. Krabs huh?
Wiz: That is correct. SpongeBob, the little sea animal we once had may look innocent in the start but don't let that slide, he's got a lot of crazy stuff in his hands.
Boomstick: This guy really is something.
Wiz: Yea, I mean he was able to unravel the universe just by pulling a string.
Boomstick: With the fact that he survived Randomland that denies the laws of physics and was unable to be hurt.
Wiz: Never judge a book by it's cover, goes to show even the most innocent children show characters are OP as hell. He really has a lot of weaponry as hell, from the pencil to the magic page.
Boomstick: Hell, he could not even feel pain at all.
Wiz: Let's not overrate the sponge too much though, his durability is very inconsistent since there were a time where he failed to lift marshmellows but was still strong enough to lift Neptune's spatula.
Boomstick: SpongeBob's IQ is not very good either so he could potentially be outsmarted in this matchup, but let's see how this would go.
Wiz: Exactly though he has really good durability as well considering the fact he was able to survived the pie explosion and he destroyed the universe just by pulling a string like it was nothing.
Boomstick: Gosh darn, and he wasn't aware he did this?
Wiz: Nope. He just pulled apart the universe without even knowing. Also, SpongeBob was able to survive nukes and when he and Patrick were building he moved the earth and didn't even realize that either.
Boomstick: Woah that's insane.
Wiz: It sure is. Also, to add up to the SpongeBob cosmology, he was coffinite that he and Patrick could save the Little Monkey Man and save the 8th dimension. SpongeBob and Patrick has also destroyed "Pencil's the Pirate" and he sees all of Nickelodeon as fiction.
Boomstick: Wow, he really is broken as hell huh?
Wiz: He really is. SpongeBob has a lot of forms up his sleeves as well such as Goofy Goober SpongeBob and Invincibubble. You know when you think of it, SpongeBob really is always ready.
SpongeBob: I AM READY!!!
Meggy Trains Her Way Into DEATH BATTLE![]
(Cue: Birabuto Kingdom - Super Mario Land)
Wiz: From one cash cow to another, we have Meggy Spletzer from SMG4.
Boomstick: Man, tbh I really wish this battle could be Mario vs SpongeBob, I mean the SMG4 Mario is really something.
Wiz: Yeah... but Meggy is just about perfect for a SMG4 vs SpongeBob matchup. In 2017, Mario has met Meggy when she was an inkling after the realize of Splatoon 2. She was originally gonna be a minor character until she got a positive reception causing her to stay in SMG4.
Boomstick: Anything else to say about Meggy?
Wiz: Yes actually. She had stay as an inkling for a few years (2017-2019). She then became a human after the Anime arc when she sacrificed her ink and gave it to Axol so she could save her friends. She has been depressed for a while though after she lost Desti and she promised to win the Splatfest for her afterwards and guess what? She did. Though she still was depressed for a while until Sunset Paradise where she had to fight off Shadow Meggy and get her sanity back.
Boomstick: Any feats you got from her though Wiz?
Wiz: Her durability is just as good as SpongeBob, she was able to survive being exploded by an island.
Boomstick: Really impressive Wiz, really impressive but isn't that Island level?
Wiz: Well yes but you could arguably get Meggy higher. She can be scaled with SMG4 Mario who was able to take on SMG0 at his fullest power and Meggy has actually isn't that weak with preparation. In Meggy's Destiny she was able to take on all of her opponents and avenged Desti.
Boomstick: With the girl's skill and weaponry as well just by her movie, she can really do well for a fight like this. The fact she can now be able to swim makes this fight way more fair as well.
Wiz: Don't forget what happened in Sunset Paradise where she got stronger after fighting Shadow Meggy, that was really something.
Boomstick: Geez Wiz, you really made me change my mind when I said "Mario vs SpongeBob" should be the better fight.
Wiz: Meggy could also take the advantage here too as she was able to outsmart Mario multiple times in the past, help Saiko make a diss track on Bob, take down Francis in the anime arc, help her friends defeat SMG0, the list goes on.
Boomstick: I'm curious to see how this would go out now that you mentioned it.
Wiz: Meggy has her weaknesses still. She has crazy hatred on anime, she could underestimate her enemies, and her depression to losing Desti is gonna be a problem for her in this fight.
Boomstick: I can really see why she hates anime to be honest. Gosh those Dragon Ball and One Punch Man fans are something really.
Wiz: Yep, those are easily some of the most questionable fans out there but she does have some rare anime she likes.
Meggy: You just got rekt by the upcoming star MEGGY!!!!
Intermission[]
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
Death Battle[]
(Location: Port Aurora)
It's just a normal day in Port Auroa, Meggy took a vacation from SMG4 and his gang so she can be herself.
Auri: Hey Meggy, it's nice to have you back.
Meggy: Thanks Auri. I told you I would like to come back here one day. Say... what do you wanna do?
Auri: Oh, I bought these new fishing rods and I thought I would like to go fishing with you if you would like. They were actually given by my grandpa before he died.
Meggy: Well, I would love to... come on Auri.
Auri: Okay partner
A few moments later, Auri and Meggy were just fishing and have a good time, when suddenly in Bikini Bottom...
SpongeBob: Geez Patrick, I love jellyfish with you. Wait, what's that?
Patrick: Hey SpongeBob, it's those little fishing rods again...
SpongeBob: Patrick WAIT! Remember the last time we saw those little fishing rod thingys in the sky? Mr Krabs say they were dangerous.
Patrick: I honestly don't care SpongeBob, I just want to touch...
SpongeBob suddenly ran to Patrick as quick as possible and pushed him so the fishing rod doesn't take him, unfortunately SpongeBob got caught in the fishing rod and taken to the overworld.
SpongeBob: PATRICK!!!
Patrick: SPONGEBOB NOOOO!!!
Meanwhile in the overworld...
Meggy: AAAAAAHHHH!!! I CAUGHT SOMETHING!!!
Auri: WHAT IS IT MEGGY? SHOW ME!!!
Meggy: HOLD ON! I'M GONNA PULL IT UP RIGHT NOW!
Meggy pulls her fishing rod only to realize it was SpongeBob.
SpongeBob: HEY! LET GO OF ME YOU BIG BUFFOON!!!
Auri: MEGGY WHAT THE HELL IS THAT AND WHY DOES IT LOOK LIKE IT'S TALKING TO US???
Meggy: I DON'T KNOW AURI, I REALLY DO NOT KNOW!!!
SpongeBob: Well whatever it is, I know you humans are dangerous so I'd watch if I were you...
Auri: Meggy... I'm scared....
Meggy: SAVE YOURSELF AURI! I'M TAKING HIM DOWN MYSELF!
SpongeBob: So you wanna take me down huh? BRING IT ON!
FIGHT!!!
Meggy runs towards SpongeBob as fast she could and punched him but then realized he's not taking any damage at all.
SpongeBob: HAHAHAHAHAHA! THAT TICKLES!
Meggy: Huh?
Meggy was shocked to see SpongeBob not being able to take damage, she got angry out of it though and threw SpongeBob into a building hurting him.
SpongeBob: OW THAT ACTUALLY HURTS!
Meggy: Is that all you got?
SpongeBob got up and pulled out his spatula while Meggy runs up to him with her splat gun shooting ink towards him hitting SpongeBob but SpongeBob didn't give up.
Meggy: Wow, you're a really tough guy huh?
SpongeBob: Yea and I gotta say, you are not that bad when it comes to fighting yourself whoever you are.
Meggy: I'm Meggy, what's your name?
SpongeBob: I am SpongeBob, the destroyed of evil.
SpongeBob then pulled up the pencil and constantly hits Meggy with it knocking her out for a few minutes
Meggy: Damn, you really are good at this.
SpongeBob: I know karate very well. I learned this from my friend Sandy, I really don't know if you knew anything about her though. As long as you're going down, that's all that matters for me.
Meggy then continues to splash SpongeBob with ink, she grabbed a few energy drinks from her pocket and drinks them giving her the energy to speedblitz SpongeBob but SpongeBob soon regenerated the moment she did that.
SpongeBob: Woah, now that sure was something.
Meggy: How are you not dead yet? You're like the toughest foe I've faced just yet.
SpongeBob: I never give up girl, you really need to understand that. I've been doing karate with Sandy and I am a good fry cook, now it's either you get out of here now or you're gonna have to die.
Meggy: I'm not going to give up, I want to protect my friends, I already let them down at one point and I will not let it happen again. Desti is dead, I let everyone down at one point and I will not let it happen again.
SpongeBob: Wow... that was a really depressing... I'm... sorry... for the fight.
Meggy then smiles knowing SpongeBob is caught off guard by the depressing story, she runs up to him and throws him into the building while using her splat gun to give him extra damage with SpongeBob screaming. However, SpongeBob later recovered from the damage and walks back out of the destroyed building so he can continue it.
SpongeBob: So you wanna play it that way huh?
SpongeBob then grabs his bubbles wand and blows bubbles at Meggy. With the bubbles going into Meggy's eyes, she screams in pain and tries to wash all the bubbles off.
Meggy: SON OF A B**CH!
With Meggy distracted by the bubbles in her eyes, SpongeBob then uses his pencil and creates DoodleBob to go up against Meggy.
SpongeBob: Alright Doodle, take her down.
DoodleBob tries to attack Meggy but because she has preparation, she is aware that DoodleBob is about to attack her. Meggy cleans her eyes perfectly and then grabs her suitcase. She then pulls a hotel ticket out of her suitcase while fighting DoodleBob and then uses the ticket to destroy DoodleBob.
SpongeBob: Jumping jellyfish! That's literally impossible! I can not believe you actually survived that?
Meggy then splashes SpongeBob with her ink gun and with his face covered in ink, she punches him so hard and uses the inkboi to teleport to wherever his body is. With SpongeBob looking weak and all Meggy runs to him in some Dragon Ball parody form. Meggy grabs him in the legs and then throws him into the ocean giving her the victory.
SpongeBob: CURSES!!!
Meggy: WOO-HOO! I have the victory, that's what happens when you mess with the upcoming star Meggy!
Auri: Meggy, that was awesome!
Meggy: I know Auri, I know.
K.O.
Wait a second...
Meggy and Auri were about to go back to Auri's place for a hot chocolate but before they could do that, they realize a square like shadow is coming out of the ocean.
Auri: Uh... Meggy, what is that?
Meggy: I... honestly... do... not... know...
The dust disappear revealing that SpongeBob was still alive, Meggy and Auri were shocked to see him still being alive but this time, he is in his Goofy Goober form.
Auri: Meggy I thought you killed him!
Meggy: But I did! How is he still alive?
SpongeBob: I might be a kid, and a goofball, but most importantly... I'M A GOOFY GOOBER ROCK!!!!
Auri runs away instantly, Meggy runs to SpongeBob but before she could punch him, SpongeBob pulled out his guitar. SpongeBob was in the sky giving Meggy no hope to punch him now.
SpongeBob: You are done for now Meg!
SpongeBob then blasted his laser at Meggy which burns her into a crisp, with no chance of surviving the guitar was too much for her. It first hit her onto the wall but she still burned at the end of the day.
SpongeBob: That's what you get for messing with me!
Auri: Meggy? Wake up! Please!
SpongeBob then went home to Bikini Bottom, Patrick asked SpongeBob what was going on and he said it was a long story so they continued going jellyfishing again in Bikini Bottom while Auri knowing Meggy is now dead, he made a letter to the SMG4 gang that Meggy is no more. A lot of the SMG4 gang (especially Mario himself) became very emotional after the heard of their fallen friend, Melony then wrote a diary about Meggy next to Axol knowing she misses both of them and Tari not even in the mood to play video games anymore. Fishy Bookins also instantly regrets forcing Meggy to watch anime ever since then, while the SMG4 gang were moaning about Meggy's death, SpongeBob was at the Krusty Krab talking to his friends about the fight.
Sandy: SpongeBob, what happened when you were in the overworld? I heard you fought someone from the human world.
SpongeBob: Ehhhh, like I said to Patrick it's really hard to explain.
Squidward: Oh please, I highly doubt you even made it up there SpongeBob, you couldn't even breathe.
With the SMG4 gang moaning about Meggy's death, SpongeBob was given a reward for making it up to the above world and being able to survive while Squidward still believes SpongeBob is lying just to get attention.
SpongeBob: Jeez guys, I couldn't have thanked you guys more than enough. Dahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Wiz: Damn, well it looks like Meggy has really lost this time huh?
Boomstick: Given the fact he could be outsmarted easily in this fight considering the fact Meggy has a history of outsmarting Mario, why isn't this the case for SpongeBob?
Wiz: Well, you see even if SpongeBob can be outsmarted, his durability is gonna protect him for this. Sure Meggy could be stronger than SpongeBob but she really doesn't have any ways to get through the durability that he has, in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge out of Water he has like the magical page so he can rewrite the story to how he wants to go. Don't forget SpongeBob destroyed a universe just by pulling a string and SpongeBob has survived a lot of things similar to Meggy's attacks before.
Boomstick: Given the fact Meggy's skills in Meggy's Destiny were impressive, what's with that?
Wiz: Even if Meggy does have a better arsenal, weaponry, and overall physically stronger than SpongeBob. SpongeBob literally has his own ways to avoid that, keep in mind his toon force is really something and the fact in Battle for Bikini Bottom he dealt with like a whole hoard of robots while Meggy mostly dealt with like inklings.
Boomsticks: Not always inklings Wiz, she has beaten Gods before. I mean, remember Waluigi and SMG0?
Wiz: Thing is though in these cases, Meggy didn't necessary beat them. When it comes to Waluigi, it was mostly done because Wario was there to make him realize what he has become and it was mostly Melony defeating SMG0 and even with that, she did it through killing Axol. SpongeBob has actually beaten gods before with his spatula such as King Neptune and such. Patrick was also able to run to the sun and back within 16 seconds so SpongeBob could actually speedblitz Meggy in this case.
Boomsticks: It's also safe to say SpongeBob has no canon or non-canon so with his prime, he easily takes the victory here. SpongeBob is actually aware of the fourth wall, he can even imagine anything and it will become reality in SpongeBob HeroPants. That was one sweet victory for the man himself. Meggy really got "Woomy'd" to "Sweet Victory" there.
Wiz: Come up with better jokes please.

- Both of them have similar clothing (Both in which wear white shirts, brown and black somewhat on their bottoms, and they both have a bit of a redish asset on them)
- Both SpongeBob and Meggy are close friends with someone who is pink and green (Melony and Patrick + Both Patrick and Melony are lazy who are pretty much dumb) and a friend who wears blue and teal who cares about them deep down especially since the special videos. (Tari and Squidward)
- They both have a cat. (Loaf and Gary)

- SpongeBob vs Meggy was originally gonna be "Saitama vs Meggy" but was then replaced with SpongeBob due to better connections.
- This is DuchessTheSponge's first Death Battle Fanon and overall his first SpongeBob vs SMG4 matchup.
