Slappy the Dummy is a recurring antagonist in a series of children's horror fiction, Goosebumps. He is mostly the main antagonist in the Night of the Living Dummy saga. And is also the main antagonist in both of the Goosebumps movies.

Slappy was once an evil sorcerer that created the ventriloquist dummy we know as Slappy out of coffin wood. When the sorcerer died he put his soul into Slappy and can be brought to life by someone reading out the cursed card in Slappy's pocket. If brought to life he will begin to terrorize the unlucky souls that brought him to life in an attempt to make them his slaves
