History[]
Once a knight of the round table, the devious Ruber didn't share King Arthur's belief in equality and only craved more lands and power for himself. Fed up with the King's insistence on dividing the lands equally, Ruber attacked him and tried to kill him, but the other knights jumped in to protect their King. The loyal Sir Lionel was killed and Ruber escaped, hiding himself in exile for the next ten years, during which he purchased a magical elixir from some witches and assembled a small army of followers.
Ten years later, Ruber sent his pet griffin to successfully steal the magic sword Excalibur from the King and made Lady Juliana (Sir Lionel's widow) hostage by threatening her daughter, Kayley. He then used the potion to transform his followers into the Mechanical Men and to fuse his own arm with Excalibur. Using Juliana as a bait, Ruber and his men invaded Camelot and once again tried to usurp the kingdom, but were ultimately defeated by Kayley and her allies.
