Battle of the Demon Guardians! Sir Percedal of Sadlygrove vs Shieda Kayn is a What-If? Death Battle made by Cerberusleuth featuring Sir Percedal of Sadlygrove from the Wakfu series and Shieda Kayn from the League of Legends MOBA.
Introduction[]
Wiz: Demons are extremely powerful, and as such, are often times sealed within a prison to contain their evil.
Boomstick: Sometimes it's some weird magic prison, but these guys do it with their weapons.
Wiz: The captor of of these demons could be heroic and good-willed, like Sir Percedal of Sadlygrove from Wakfu
Boomstick: Or they can be evil and edgy, like Shieda Kayn from League of Legends. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick...
Wiz: ...and it is our job to analyze their weapons, armour, and skills to see who would win... A DEATH BATTLE!
Sir Percedal of Sadlygrove is the True Iop God in DEATH BATTLE![]
Boomstick: Where do we start...
Wiz: Not much is known about Percedal's backstory. All we know was he was once a farmhand from what we can assume is "Sadlygrove", given his title, until he become an Iop Warrior and Shushu gaurdian.
Boomstick: A "yop"? A "shoe-shoe"? What the hell are you talking about?"
Wiz: An Iop is someone who is more brawns than brains, letting their weapons do the talking...
Boomstick: Oh, so kinda like me!
Wiz: And a Shushu is a demon from a hellish dimension ruled by King Rushu. While they can exist in the World of Twelve, they are usually bound within a weapon, either owned by a theif or a guardian, Percedal being the latter - Percedal's is a Level 4 one named Rubilax.
Boomstick: Rubilax is a well-known Shushu, being trapped in Dally's sword. The two do get along, but Rubilax loves teasing him - until Percedal hits his sword on a rock.
Wiz: Dally wanted to be a great Iop warrior, and he trained under the Iop god - Goultard, the son of Iop himself.
Boomstick: After being trained by a literal demi-god, Dally was ready to become a Shushu guardian... until Rubilax got the better of him, and took over body, starting a rampage. Thankfully, he was stopped by Yugo and his pals and fell in love with this chick named Evangelyne, and they all formed the Brotherhood of the Tofu!
Wiz: Dally did many great things with the Brotherhood of The Tofu, such as defeating the Black Crow, curing cursed princesses, fight against an unleash Rubilax by (literally) using his head, and fighting against the forces of Nox, but ultimately sacrificing his life in the process...
Boomstick: ...but he lived. You see, when Percedal was going to heaven, Rubilax was all like "NOPE!", and dragged his soul back down, taking over his body.
Wiz: With this vessel, Rubilax looked to unleash King Rushu and his forces onto the World of Twelve... until Percedal was able to regain control over his body and put Rubilax back into his place.
Boomstick: And thus, the adventures continued...
Wiz: After Yugo defeated Qilby and Ogrest started to flood the World of Twelve with his tears, Goultard revealed that Dally was the reincarnation of the Iop God himself - being essentially a father to all Iops.
Boomstick: So like how any wise god would do, he did what he should - confront the threat immediately without any consideration or preparation!
Wiz: While Dally could slightly harm Ogrest, Ogrest was simply far more powerful, and Dally lost his arm in the process.
Boomstick: Thankfully, due to Yugo and Otomaï, Ogrest's creator, Ogrest was calmed and the World of Twelve was saved, where then Dally finally marries Evangelyne, and gives his god powers to Goultard, because he no longer wants to live a life of fighting and live a life with his newfound family instead. Aw...
Wiz: This isn't the end of Dally's adventures, however.
Boomstick: ...man!
Wiz: The Brotherhood of the Tofu had to go against Oropo, who is actually is an alternate version of Yugo created from the clash against Ogrest. After being put on the brink of death by one of Oropo's goons, Rubilax dragged his soul down once more, this time not being malicious, but rather, generous. However, the price of this action allowed Rubilax to take the place of Percedal's arm that was lost against Ogrest.
Boomstick: As an arm, all that Percedal has to do is make a pose that gives off JoJo energy, and Rubi turns into a something - a sword, a hammer, a massive arm, or even a effing pair of wings!
Wiz: Although not the Iop god anymore, he still has the strength of one, going against Dark Vlad, the strongest demigod, and the alter ego of Goultard.
Boomstick: Well, from being the Iop god, Dally should have a wide arsenal powers of Iop powers, right?
Wiz: Correct. As an Iop, he can control elements such as fire, air, and earth, and having powers such as Celestial Sword
Boomstick: Dally is comparable to the rest of the Brotherhood of the Tofu, who can dodge lightning! Frickin' lightning!
Wiz: Of course, Dally has some weaknesses. As mentioned before, he acts before he thinks.
Boomstick: He also has the classic "dad will do anything to protect his daughter" weakness, but Elely has shown to be capable of defending herself.
Wiz: Above all else, as the Iop god, if you looking to pick a fight with Sir Percedal of Sadlygrove, you better know what you are doing.
Sir Percedal of Sadlygrove: Your wrong, Rubi. My family isn’t making me weaker, but stronger. I’ll keep going until I find them. And I’ll prove it!
Shieda Kayn Shadow Steps into DEATH BATTLE![]
Wiz: Long ago, the desert-like region of Shurima was under attack by the Void.
Boomstick: Yeah, just your everyday attack from monster bugs from another dimension. Move along.
Wiz: To fight against these horrors, the Sun Disc was used to create the perfect god warriors - the Ascended.
Boomstick: But it was inevitable bad things would happen.
Wiz: Some were corrupted, becoming the Darkin. Among these Darkin, was Rhaast.
Boomstick: These Darkin were some of the nastiest motherfuckers to roam Runeterra, committing mass murder, possessing others, and destroying entire constellations!
Wiz: Fortunately, the Aspect of Twilight sealed away the idea of the 6 remaining Darkin's representation and trapped them into weapons. As for Rhaast, he was trapped away in a scythe, never to be seen again...
Boomstick: Yeah right. An idiot would obviously pick it up. It's bound to happen.
Wiz: Whereas Varus is sharing a body with two hunters and Aatrox already corrupting his current host long ago, when Kayn obtained the Darkin Scythe, the two struggle for control - should the Shadow Assassin destroy the Darkin Scythe, or shall Rhaast gain control and destroy all of Runeterra?
Boomstick: Hold up, we haven't gone much into Kayn's backstory! Hold your horses!
Wiz: Oh, my bad. Kayn was born in Noxus, he was drafted into being a child soldier.
Boomstick: Ah, Noxus. Everything about them is bad.
Wiz: Due to how horribly the invasion of Ionia went, Kayn was expected to die.
Boomstick: But instead, he dropped his sword and grabbed a sickle, and went to town on those Ionians.
Wiz: Words about this event spread like wildfire, reaching the Order of the Shadow, and their leader, Zed, who welcomed Kayn into the Order of the Shadow with welcome arms.
Boomstick: Where most assassins trained only using one weapon, Kayn mastered them all. He doesn't wear any armor either - the in universe explanation is because he thinks it wears him down, but the out-universe one is so he can look sexy and sell skins.
Wiz: When word of the Darkin Scythe being unearthed on Noxian grounds surfaced, Kayn was the first to take it. The second he locked his hands on the weapon, the struggle for control began.
Kayn: Will you prove worthy?
Rhaast: Probably not.
Pre-Fight[]
Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set. We've run the data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!
(Location: Random-ass village)
Dally is visting Random-ass village for some grocery shopping. He is running errands for his family.
Dally: Mortadella, breadala, breaded piwipette... what else was on the shopping list?
Rubilax: A cond-
Dally: SHUT IT! We're on a PG-13 Wiki!
Rubilax: What?
Dally: What? Anyways, I think I got everything!
Suddenly, a shadow hovers over Dally.
Dally: Rubi, do you feel that?
Rubilax: Yeah, I don't like it...
Kayn surfaces, trying to attack Percedal from behind. However, Percedal reacts, stopping the scythe with his blade.
Dally: Oh great, we're getting ambushed when we were just grocery shopping!
FIGHT![]
When the two clashed again, Rhaast and Rubilax became aware of each other's existence.
Rubilax and Rhaast: What the-
Dally and Kayn: Huh?
Rubilax and Rhaast: Hold us out, we need to see this.
Dally and Kayn: *sigh*
Rubilax and Rhaast can see each other more clearly
Rubilax and Rhaast: Are you a-
Rubilax: Shushu?
Rhaast: Darkin?
Rubilax: So uhh...
Dally: Enough talk! Who are you, anyways?
Kayn: I am the leader of the Order of the Shadow. I'll be taking that Darkin blade from you.
Dally: Or, once I kick your ass, I'll be compensating that Shushu scythe from you!
Rhaast: Hold the phone, hold the phone. I'm not a "Shushu!"
Rubilax: And I'm no Darkin! I guess we can agree that we are some sort of demon trapped within a weapon, however.
Rhaast: Fair enough. Carry on then.
Percedal activates his fire mode, turning Rubilax into a molten sword. He swings it at Kayn, who dodges it, and then sinks into a wall using Shadow Step.
Kayn: Hehehehe...
Percedal: Where'dya go?
Kayn resurfaces behind Dally, using Blade's Reach to attack him. Dally gets cut in the back, but is still able to fight as if nothing happened.
Kayn: Ugh. I hate it when they're this resilient.
Dally: Celestial Sword!
Kayn: Wha-
Lightning appears and stricks Kayn, staggering him. This allows Dally to connect several hits with his sword, damaging Kayn.
Kayn: Enough of this! Umbral Tresspass!
Kayn enters Dally's body and a scythe materializes over Dally's head.
Dally: Uh oh.
Kayn exits Dally's body, managing to cut off his arm. Dally screams in pain, but is still alive. Kayn's transformation is about to begin, but who will take control will vary.
Meanwhile, Rubilax gets permission from Dally to take the place of his arm, and at the same time, Dally's Iop god powers awoken.
Dally sees a massive cloud of black smoke.
Dally: Huh?
Out of the smoke, comes out...
Blue Timeline[]
...Kayn, the Shadow Assassin.
Rubilax: Hey, where did your friend go?
Kayn: Rhaast was too weak, concealed in a weapon. The Child is gone. The Darkin is dead. The Killer remains.
Dally: Alright Rubi, let's show this asshole what happens when you abandon your demon friend!
Kayn and Dally move so fast, they appear as light. Dally is orange, Kayn is blue. These beams clash and bounce off each other, turn around, and do it again. The clashing shakes the land, causing the ground to tremble.
Kayn: Who the hell are you?
Dally: I am Sir Percedal of Sadlygrove, the true Iop God! You may have murdered many men, but I doubt you have slain a god!
Kayn: I just did, like two minutes ago.
Dally: Technically, that was a Shushu.
Kayn: Darkin! Rhaast literally said he was a Darkin! Not a Shushu!
Dally: Whatever, but they are below gods!
Kayn: I'm pretty sure Rhaast and his brothers killed gods thousands of years ago, but whatever.
Dally: Looks like he got rusty.
Dally forms Rubilax into a massive sword, and the clashing continues.
The clashing of the two begins when the end up moving towards different regions when they clash. The Sadida Kingdom, Mount Zinit, everywhere on the World of Twelve. Eventually, they end up near Dally's home, causing his family to take notice.
Elely: Papa?
Dally: Oh wait- (crap!)
Kayn: takes advantage of this, and appears behind Evangelyne.
Kayn I assume this is your wife... it would be a real shame if-
SPLAT.
Eva was quickly moved to the side, and afterwards, using Rubilax as his arm, the Iop god punched a massive hole in the Shadow Assassin's stomach.
K.O![]
Dally: Never. Mess. With. My. Family.
Kayn's corpse falls onto the ground, with everyone gasping, outside of Dally.
Rubilax: Dude, holy shit! You didn't need to do that! Not only did you make me see through his insides, but you just donuted a guy right in front of your family!
Dally: Well, watch your language! The kids are here!
(Cue: Apple Kid's theme)
The scene is on a TV, which is now paused. An imp with a depressed look and a wizard party hat on appears on the screen.
Sloob: That was the Blue Timeline. It is named the Blue Timeline, because it was named when "Blue Kayn", the Shadow Assassin, took full control. Now, we are going to go to the Red Timeline. You can assume this timeline to be the one where Rhaast, the "Red Kayn", takes control. We will rewind the scene to when it says, "Out of the smoke, comes out..."
(Uncue Apple Kid's theme. It sounds too silly for this fight.)
Out of the smoke, comes out...
Red Timeline[]
...Rhaast, the Darkin Slayer.
Rubilax: Hey, what happened to your friend?
Rhaast: Kayn was weak. I am now in control. IT'S ALL RHAAST NOW!
Rubilax: Oh nice, a name! I'm Rubilax, a-
Dally: Not now, Rubi! We have to deal with this guy!
Rhaast: Say, I haven't fought a god in a while! This will feel SO good!
The Iop god and Darkin Slayer clash, crumbling the entire land as they clash. Much like how it went down against the Shadow Assasin, Dally materialized as an orange light, and Rhaast did so as red. The two clashed, bounced, turn, do it again, rinse and repeat.
Dally: ENOUGH ALREADY!
Dally punches a hole in Rhaast's stomach. The Darkin stays silent for a second, an then begins to laugh. The hole punched through his gut shrinks into nothing, which startles Dally.
Rhaast: You cannot kill me! I am Darkin! I am immortal! I WILL NOT DIE! I CANNOT, EVEN IF I WANTED TO, TO GET RID OF THIS HORRID FORM!
Dally: Well, today could be your lucky day!
Dally tackles Rhaast, going all the way to a nearby solar system. He throws Rhaast at a planet, and then Dally grabs a different planet, and threw it at the planet Rhaast was on, right on top of the Darkin.
Rubilax: Ok, that may have been overkill, but he's dead now, right?
Rhaast's laughter can be heard.
Rubilax: Well shi-
Rhaast slices the planet thrown at him in twine, and tackled Dally with his foot, slamming back into the World of Twelve. They land on Dally's home, and caused a massive, nuke-like explosion.
Dally releases where they landed.
Dally: No... NOO-
Rhaast splits Dally in four with his scythe.

Rhaast: Ah, what a wonderful fight! Say, this planet is full of life energy... Ahaha... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
(Recue: Apple Kid's theme)
The scene zooms out once more, and pauses. Sloob reappears.
Sloob: Yeah it looks like the outcome changed, I guess. I guess Wiz and Boomstick can explain why and how or whatever, but don't ask me please. I'm just gonna... crawl down here or whatever.
Sloob fell into his lair
Verdict[]
Boomstick: Who is that guy?
Wiz: Hopefully, not important. Anyways, depending on what happens, the battle could go two ways.
Boomstick: If Kayn goes by himself, he stands no chance against Dally. The Iop god is just way to friggin' strong for a mere Shadow Assassin.
Wiz: As established in Vi vs Jolyne Cujoh, Kayn's destructive power is at least 0.71 tons of TNT and scales to 5000 M/S, whereas Iop God Dally can fight against Oropo, who can sustain his own universe and scales to massively faster than light speeds, such as Enutrof answering Ruel's prayer.
Boomstick: But when Kayn goes red, the tables turn.
Wiz: Rhaast is still weaker than Iop God Dally. Sure, he can scale to characters such as Aatrox who can destroy constellations, that still is nothing to Dally's universal strength. But Dally can't kill Rhaast, because it's stated that Darkin lack a concept.
Boomstick: What do you mean?
Wiz: They don't exist, even as an idea. There is just no way Dally can deal with that. Not to mention, Rhaast, along with the other Darkin, were designed to fight against the Voidborn, who have an immense variety of different powers and exist outside of time and space. That makes Rhaast blitz Dally.
Boomstick: This battle wasn't black and white. It was red and blue.
Wiz: The winner is Sir Percedal of Sadlygrove for the Blue Timeline, and Rhaast for the Red Timeline.
