Wiz: In a world filled with countless lives, all with the freedom to make their own choices, order must be installed to prevent catastrophe from following suit and maintain peace across the world.

Boomstick: But some take that desire for order way... way too far- even if it means causing the most chaos possible.

Wiz: Like Sinestro, DC's totalitarian Yellow Lantern.

Boomstick: And Zamasu, the justice obsessed Supreme Kai from Dragon Ball. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!

Wiz: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!

Wiz: As part of the million year progress of evolution, all sentient life in the world was gifted emotions to help us discern what actions we must take for survival. While we sought what made us happy and loathed what made us angry, the most universal of emotions across all walks of life was the one we wished to avoid most- the feeling of cold, unrelenting fear.

Boomstick: Fear is a part of survival- making us not want to get too close to something that could very easily kill you. It's a primal survival instinct. But what if one were to weaponise it? Mold it into a power so great, it could bend the will of the greatest heroes to one's whim?

Wiz: Such would be the fate of one of the universe's greatest threats, a being that created as much totalitarian order as he did unrivalled fear. This was Thaal Sinestro.

Boomstick: Back in his hayday, Sinestro was a simple archaeologist on the alien planet of Korugar. He was all about the planet's history and even valued the planet's past more than the people of its present.

Wiz: But things would swiftly change one faithful day when during an archaeological dig, an alien spacecraft would land near Sinestro, containing an alien on death's door named Prohl with a mysterious green ring.

Boomstick: That, as it turns out, was one of the greatest weapons in the entire universe: a Green Lantern ring, and that poor alien had some looters on his ass that wanted that shit for themselves.

Wiz: These were the Weaponers of Qward- an alien warrior race from the Antimatter Universe that sought to take the ring for themselves. Sensing the peril at hand, the ring attached itself to Sinestro's finger and transformed him into a Green Lantern himself, allowing him to fend off the Weaponers.

Boomstick: Prohl begged Sinestro for it back, so it could provide life support while he waited for help to arrive and save him... but Sinestro didn't want to relinquish his powers so he said "screw that" and just up and left the guy for dead. Probably should've expected that when you decided to try and trust a guy named Sinestro.

Wiz: With this new power in hand, Sinestro made a choice. Instead of merely digging up the past, he would use this new power of his to build the future, and lucky for him, he would be given just the opportunity upon meeting another Green Lantern, Abin Sur.

Boomstick: Abin would introduce Sinestro to the Green Lantern Corps on the planet of Oa: an intergalactic police force dedicated to combating evil across the 3,600 sectors that made up the universe. Upon swearing the Green Lantern oath, Sinestro was inducted into their ranks and alongside Abin, became one of the top dogs of the Green Lantern Corps.

Wiz: As a Lantern, Sinestro's powers derive entirely from his Lantern ring, which not only gifts him with superhuman strength and speed but also grants him the power to generate constructs of pure energy with the shape and likeness of anything Sinestro could possibly imagine.

Boomstick: You name it, a Lantern can probably make it: fists, baseball bats, armour, vehicles, firearms, swords, shields, hell Green Lantern John Stewart once even made a freaking solar system with his ring. The sky's the limit when it comes to these things.

Wiz: Each Lantern ring is powered by their respective emotion on the Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum- a universal energy field and power source for the Lantern Corps. Green Lanterns in particular derive their power from the presence of willpower, becoming more powerful the stronger their will is.

Boomstick: With these powers, Sinestro was able to maintain justice in his his home sector of 1417 no problem, and things seemed to be looking up for him. He was a celebrated member of the Green Lanterns, got himself a wife and family when he settled down with Abin's sister Arin, and he and Abin maintained a strong and respected bromance during their work hours.

Wiz: And then Abin died after a crash landing on an alien planet, passing his ring on to his future successor and Sinestro's future student, Hal Jordan.

Boomstick: While a bit of a harsh mentor, Sinestro and Hal respected each other and kept up the good fight for the Green Lantern Corps. Eventually he even showed Hal his prized home planet of Korugar. Hal... didn't like what he saw.

Wiz: See, Sinestro believed that the biggest flaw of the Green Lanterns was that they spread themselves to far and thin. They were each given the responsibility of maintaining order across segments of an entire universe, which realistically was never gonna play out well.

Boomstick: His solution was to concentrate the population into one area- the capital city of his home planet, Korugar City... yeah uh, real creative naming you got there Sinestro. Good work buddy.

Wiz: His people initially viewed Sinestro as a saviour and a hero of the people... that was, until Sinestro revealed his true nature as a control freak and a cruel dictator, monitoring the populace's every move and punishing all that stepped out of line of his strict order.

Boomstick: A riot eventually broke out and even resulted in the death of Sinestro's own wife. Backed into a corner and reported to the higher ups, Sinestro was brought before the Green Lanterns and sentenced to exile for what he did behind their backs- stripped of his powers and banished to the Antimatter Universe. The very same one those Weaponers of Qward came from... funny coincidence, that was.

Wiz: Stricken with grief from the loss of those he loved and angered by his exile, Sinestro made a pact with the Weaponers- they would forge him a brand new ring to form a brand new corp, allowing him to continue installing his order and bring the Green Lanterns to their knees. He would be gifted a Yellow Lantern ring.

Boomstick: And this bad boy didn't run on willpower, oh no. Sinestro decided to weaponise the very thing the Green Lanterns stood against and loathed him for bringing onto his people: fear.

Wiz: Sinestro would escape the Antimatter Universe and return to terrorise not just the Green Lantern Corps, but the very universe itself with his brand new control over all things terrifying.

Boomstick: Hey, just like that device you were working on in the lab.

Wiz: Yeah like- wait, how do you know about-

Boomstick: Upon reciting his trademark Lantern oath, the Yellow Lantern Ring grants him the same superhuman abilities and construct creation as before, but his arsenal is far from done just there. It can fire energy beams, create force-fields so dense that microscopic organisms can't get through it, phase through solid objects like they aren't even there, absorb energy and even fly, which... y'know, probably important when you got literal solar systems to traverse through as part of your day job.

Wiz: He can even use it to heal wounds or scan what's around him, making it difficult to get the jump on him. With a similar ability, Hal once even managed to scan the entire universe in, and I quote, a "heartbeat". On average, an adult's heart rate is around 60 to 100 beats per minute, or at least one beat per second, meaning Hal scanned all 100 trillion light years of the universe in a single second.

Boomstick: Dude must be a master at finding needles in a haystack.

Wiz: That's far from the end of what Sinestro is capable of with his ring. If he's somehow too impatient to simply get to where he needs to at speeds incomprehensibly faster than light, he can create wormholes through space or even time, allowing him to travel back and forward through time as he pleases. But the greatest power at his disposal all comes back to its primary power source.

Boomstick: If the ring is in the presence of any fear, the ring can use that to power up and recharge its battery, and the ring is fully equipped to take advantage of this power source. With it, Sinestro can delve into the minds of his foes and explore their greatest fears in order to bring them to light through the use of his constructs, creating a cycle of scaring his enemies' shitless and fueling himself for more rounds of terror.

Wiz: And Sinestro is a master at getting inside the heads of his prey, helped by his cunning and genius intellect that allows him to manipulate others to his whim, such as when he convinced a New God, one of the most powerful beings in all of DC, to join his newly formed Sinestro Corps.

Boomstick: So, expert manipulator, secret dictator, a name that's literally a play on the word "sinister"... how the fuck did nobody suspect he was secretly evil?

Wiz: Weeeeeeeeeeell "evil" is maybe not the right word to sell the whole picture. Sinestro's actions aren't motivated by simple self-interest or inherit dickishness- rather, he does what he believes is in the best interest of the universe and more importantly, his home planet of Korugar. Sinestro's actions are often motivated either out of a love for his planet or a hatred for those that threatened to harm it or his loved ones, such as the Guardians responsible for running the Green Lanterns, who he blamed for Abin Sur's demise due to their negligence.

Boomstick: He even made it a rule to the Sinestro Corps not to do anything to harm his planet, and he was more than willing to kick their shit in when they didn't listen. Okay so is he a good guy now or what the hell's going on?

Wiz: Oh no, don't get the wrong idea, while Sinestro's intentions are far from evil, he is still far from a remotely good person. He's still a control freak that's willing to strip a person's rights if it means maintaining absolute order, and he has no qualms belittling or mentally torturing those that stand against him. But above all, Sinestro is an insatiable narcissist.

Boomstick: Despite being a literal dictator and both his people and even his own daughter hating him for being kind of a dick, Sinestro cannot, under any circumstance imaginable, see himself as being in the wrong. Everything he does he believes is for the greater good and entirely justified, no matter how different a story reality tells. Kinda reminds me of a certain someone I know.

Wiz: Well like a certain co-host of mine, Sinestro trusts and is trusted by nobody. Even his own Corps know better than to trust him with his erratic behaviour and very, very different interests and end goals. In truth, the only person Sinestro really fully trusted was Abin Sur, who Sinestro, in spite of his egotism, continued to mourn for. Hell, his mentoring of Hal Jordan was his way of honouring Abin and even despite the grudge he held against Hal for exposing him, he still held some respect for Hal and has even teamed up with him and other Lantern Corps leaders to become the New Guardians in the battle against the Blackest Night, a prophecised universal event that threatened to unleash the might of Nekron upon the universe-

Boomstick: And his almighty fridge constructs! Hehehe, man Sinestro probably should've joined this guy, he'd have been a great source of fear.

Wiz: But Nekron wouldn't be the only cosmic terror that Sinestro would have to conquer- he would not only defeat but even turn one of the most powerful monsters in the universe into his plaything, a monster that even possessed Hal and used him like a puppet. See, each Lantern Corps has their own embodiment of their corresponding emotion that grants the battery of a Lantern power. Green Lanterns are powered by Ion, the basking shark of willpower, Red Lanterns are powered by Butcher, the bull of rage, etc.

Boomstick: Ooh I wonder what Yellow Lanterns are repped by! Is it a bat, or a snake- ooh oh wait, I bet it's a spidAH WHAT THE F$%K IS THAT THING?!!!

Wiz: This is Parallax, the living embodiment of fear, and one of the most ferocious creatures in all of DC. Like the Lanterns he powers, Parallax can create constructs and manipulate energy and fear. Its ability to bend the fears of others to its whim makes most Yellow Lanterns' look like absolute child's play, and only those with a true understanding of fear can even hope to stand a chance against it.

Boomstick: Parallax has exploited the fear of even some of DC's heaviest hitters like Superman and Wonder Woman. Hell, even The Spectre is scared shitless of him, and he's considered the most powerful magic user in DC's entire lineup. Parallax can even mess with people's minds or outright possess them if he feels like it. Just ask Hal- he has a lot of experience in that field.

Wiz: Hmmmmm...

Boomstick: No.

Wiz: Huh wha- what do you mean no?!

Boomstick: I already know what you're thinking, and no, I'm not being used in whatever weird experiment this thing made you think of.

Wiz: What, no no I-I wasn't thinking of any experiments Boomstick, c'mon, you know me better than tha-

Boomstick: Yeah, I do know you better than that, that's what the last ten years of enduring your shit has taught me.

Wiz: Aw...

Boomstick: Parallax has made many of the most powerful beings in DC his bitch, including other Lanterns like Kyle Rayner or the aforementioned Hal, but Sinestro? He was the one making Parallax his bitch.

Wiz: Sinestro impressively was able to restrain and control Parallax, almost like a twisted Pokémon, which he keeps inside the central Yellow Lantern battery. Lucky for him, he can summon said battery to his hand at a moment's notice should he need to let Parallax loose for a tough battle.

Boomstick: But Sinestro's a tough enough son of a bitch that he barely even needs it. He's fought the likes of the Big Bang restraining Kyle Rayner or of course, Hal Jordan, who's clash with Sinestro tore reality apart. He even tore out the heart of this asshole named Volthoom after he blew Korugar up, which is impressive when Volthoom mold and remake the universe to his liking like the world's biggest ball of playdough.

Wiz: Another example of Sinestro's unending resolve. For as heartless as many of his actions may be, he will not hesitate to end a threat to the planet and people he swore an oath to protect. Even his own daughter Soranik, who worked alongside his very enemies and tried to kill him on many occasions he has still looked out for.

Boomstick: He's a grade A asshole and a terror to the cosmos but there's nothing Sinestro wouldn't do to keep order and peace in Korugar, even if it means turning on the few people on his side. It doesn't matter if you're the most powerful god around, threaten his home world and you will bear witness to true fear!

Sinestro: In a galaxy screaming for order, you have cast a deaf ear. But all that ends now! As demi-gods bound by your word, all of you are going to pledge your undying allegiance to me!

Wiz: As once famously said by Sir John Dalberg-Acton, "absolute power corrupts absolutely". When given what is needed to make anything reality, temptation always finds a way to turn even the most stalwart of intentions astray into pure evil.

Boomstick: And the power to play the judge, jury and executioner to all life in the universe is basically just asking to corrupt whoever has that power fall into their hands.

Wiz: Such was the case for the Supreme Kai: a race of immortal deities born into divinity to protect their assigned universe and watch over and plant the seeds for all life, both in the world of the living and the world of the deceased.

Boomstick: Among these gods is the Supreme Kai of Universe 10, Gowasu- a respectful and kind old geezer who wished for his apprentice to see the value in those they're tasked with protecting and become a worthy successor. Too bad Gowasu is an absolutely shit judge of character because this apprentice of his would prove himself to be one of the greatest threats to the very universe he was supposed to protect. This was Zamasu.

Wiz: Formerly a North Kai of Universe 10, Gowasu chose Zamasu to be his future successor after witnessing his skill in battle and seeing his purity of heart and sense of justice. Zamasu was thrilled to take up the position and promised to bring about universal peace.

Boomstick: There was just one problem: while Zamasu prized nature and creation above all else, hundreds of years of life and battle birthed within him a hatred for all mortal life. And I mean like, a big hatred. Like probably a good thing he doesn't have Twitter cuz I wouldn't wanna see what kinda slurs he'd come out with-

Wiz: ANYWAYS, while Gowasu believed that evil is important for justice to exist and prevail to justify watching over mortal life, Zamasu not only believed the humans to be dimwitted and violent, but also believed that evil under no circumstances could be tolerated and must be vanquished for the sake of true justice, only further fueled by Gowasu's insistence on not interfering with mortal affairs.

Boomstick: Gowasu tried many times to change Zamasu's perspective, including bringing him across multiple time periods to show the evolution of mortal life, but Zamasu stubbornly stuck to his beliefs that mortals were beyond salvation.

Wiz: And it all came to a head when the God of Destruction Beerus and his angelic attendant Whis came to Gowasu seeking answers on a mysterious Saiyan that had been causing havoc: Goku Black.

Boomstick: They also brought the original Goku along with them, who wanted to fight Zamasu to test his might against a literal god, and though incredibly reluctant, he eventually accepts when Gowasu instructs him to as part of his training.

Wiz: Befitting his godly status, Zamasu is a beast in battle, possessing impossible speed and strength bolstered by his Ki- a life force that exists in all living things that can be weaponised in battle for devastating effect, especially in Zamasu's case since his divine nature allows him to harness the far more powerful Godly Ki.

Boomstick: Zamasu not only uses his Ki for flight but can also shape it for a variety of different attacks. He can create invisible blasts with Kiai, slice you to pieces with the God Split Cut or fire that shit like an arrow with... well, Heavenly Arrow, or create a giant ball of energy called the Planet Bomb. If the name wasn't enough of a giveaway, you definitely don't wanna get hit by that.

Wiz: Zamasu is even capable of instant teleportation with Kai Kai, which can even allow him to transport himself across entire universes with ease. Unfortunately, these weren't enough to best Goku in their initial battle. While the experience was intended to show Zamasu the good in mortals, all it did was convince Zamasu mortals were not only reprehensible but also incredibly dangerous.

Boomstick: And during their battle, Beerus and Whis noticed something off about him. Turns out, he had the same Ki as Goku Black, because he was Goku Black.

Wiz: To make a long story short, Zamasu killed Gowasu in an alternate timeline and wished upon the Super Dragon Balls to switch bodies with Goku upon realising Goku's unmatched potential. He then murdered Goku and his family in cold blood, stole the Time Ring from Gowasu that allowed for travel across time and escaped into this timeline to enact his plan to end all mortal life for good.

Boomstick: Upon his plan being discovered, Zamasu tried attacking Goku, only for Beerus to intercept and erase his very being with his signature technique, Hakai, removing Zamasu's existence from time and space and ending his plans then and there...

Wiz: ...

Boomstick: ...

Wiz & Boomstick: Pfffffffffffffffftttttt haaahahahahahahahahahahahaha... *sharp inhale* wooo!!!!

Wiz: Yeah right, that's far from the end for this 5D chess player of madness

Boomstick: Strap in boys and girls, cuz this rollercoaster ain't stopping for anyone!

Wiz: Beerus may have killed Zamasu in the main timeline we follow in Dragon Ball Super but he was far from the only Zamasu left across all of time- which wouldn't have been much of an issue by itself since a God of Destruction could still take him out without issue...

Boomstick: But Goku Black knew this and so, explored countless timelines using the Time Ring before eventually finding his way to Future Trunks' timeline, in which Universe 7's Supreme Kai and God of Destruction were both dead and Zamasu was still around. So Goku Black met up with Zamasu, immediately recruited him to his cause and got this new Zamasu to wish on the Super Dragon Balls for full immortality, which meant not only would he never age to death but he was basically impossible to truly kill, and then travelled even further in time to wish for the destruction of the Super Dragon Balls so there work couldn't be undone before assassinating every Supreme Kai and God of Destruction until they had nobody left to oppose their genocide of mortals... you catch that?

Wiz: It'll be on the test, so you better get to studying!

Boomstick: The two Zamasus rained terror across time and space in the name of their justice soon after. Zamasu by himself was already a tough son of a bitch thanks to that newfound immortality and his centuries' worth of battle experience. But Goku Black was just ridiculous.

Wiz: Black combines the God Ki of Zamasu with the infinite evolutionary potential of Goku's Saiyan heritage that allowed him to battle and even contend with the very God of Destruction that killed him in his original body Beerus, who's battle with his brother Champa threatened to destroy both Universe 6 and 7. The two were even flying through entire star systems in just a couple of minutes!

Boomstick: Goku needed his Super Saiyan God form to pull this off but lucky for him, he soon became just as strong in base as he was in Super Saiyan God in that fight, so Goku Black should definitely be able to compete with that- even moreso with his own Super Saiyan form: Super Saiyan Rosé. He's really proud of the colour.

Wiz: Goku Black combined Zamasu's techniques with many of Goku's, including his famous Kamehameha, which in Black's hands can create explosions visible from orbit. He even has several techniques unseen in either's hands, such as the Sickle of Sorrow: a Ki scythe that can cleave open space-time in order to unleash a series of Shadows. Basically think of them like Shadow Clones from Naruto.

Boomstick: Man, imagine having farming equipment that can just casually tear reality open and unleash a bunch of clones on ya. I'd probably take up farming if I had something like that!

Wiz: Wait, what use would that be in farming?

Boomstick: Making a bunch of Shadows that can do the work for me while I sit back with a beer! Duh!

Wiz: *Sigh* I should've guessed that.

Boomstick: It wasn't long before millions- no, possibly billions of bodies were left in their wake across time and space. Nowhere was safe from their rampage.

Wiz: At least until a trio of stubborn Saiyans got in their way- Trunks, Vegeta and of course, Son Goku!

Boomstick: As strong as Zamasu and Goku Black were before, the Saiyans proved to be a stubborn bunch that were whooping their asses. But just as well, they had the perfect plan of attack to take the Saiyans out and make themselves even more unbelievably terrifying- the ultimate weapon of them all-

Wiz: The Potara Earrings!

Boomstick: Oh... well that just sounds lame, I thought it was gonna be some doomsday shit or something.

Wiz: Oh no, don't underestimate these bad boys. In Dragon Ball, there are many methods of fusion that can allow two individuals to temporarily form into one entity orders of magnitudes stronger than the sum of their parts.

Boomstick: The Earrings already proved useful for Goku Black as with them, he could use the Time Ring no problem despite them only working for Supreme Kais normally. With it, he can travel to the future and back, but should any disturbances be made to time, the ring will pick it up and allow him to travel there regardless of time placement. He even gains complete acausality, so history being changed will do nothing to him. That's why Beerus killing Zamasu did jack shit to stop Goku Black.

Wiz: But when Zamasu brandishes the Earring on his opposing ear, a fusion is triggered, and Goku Black and Zamasu become one, and form the divine angel known as... Fused Zamasu!

Boomstick: Oh c'mon, that's the name he went with? You got cool fused names like Gogeta, Gotenks, Kefla and he just calls himself the same thing!? Dude's as egotistical as he is uncreative, what a ripoff!

Wiz: Well creative names are the least of your worries compared to the downright frightening new power Fused Zamasu commands.

Boomstick: Zamasu carries all the same techniques as before and several more on top of them- such as a massive halo that grants him added defenses with Barrier of Light, or a giant bird of Ki energy with Wall of Light, which he can shoot powerful bolts of lightning from with Absolute Lightning. Man all these attack names and he couldn't spare a cool one for himself-

Wiz: He's also able to blast all foes away with a powerful Holy Light Grenade or rain down a series of Ki blades with Blades of Judgement to slice his foes to ribbons. He can also use telekinesis, create dark portals, alter his own size or summon himself from other points in time.

Boomstick: And his power level is goddamn bonkers! Fusing while Black was in his Rosé form gave him a permanent Rosé power boost on top of what fusion already gives him, allowing him to easily stop a combined assault from Goku and Vegeta with one hand for each, and even outlast and beat Vegito after already getting his shit rocked by two of his own attacks blowing up in his face... which then lead to him turning into this horrific freak of nature.

Wiz: An insane feat considering Goku and Vegeta's other fusion Gogeta tore dimensions of reality apart in his battle with the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly, another one of Dragon Ball's most brutal heavy hitters.

Boomstick: Man this guy must be unstoppable! Why didn't he just go into this form from the start and clean house again?

Wiz: Well maybe because of one, rather peculiar side effect of Potara fusion. Normally, when two beings fuse through this method, they only have one hour before they are forcefully defused back to their original forms. However, due to both Zamasu and Black possessing the souls of a Kai, there fusion was permanent, so he can't really... turn it off at all, which might not sound so bad at first... until you realise that Goku Black's body is still mortal.

Boomstick: The merging of an immortal body and a mortal body meant Zamasu's immortality was compromised- still giving him impressive regeneration but it meant he wasn't as immovable as before and his body would deteriorate under enough pressure. Also wait, if Black was in a mortal's body, and Zamasu hates mortals with a passion... man he must really have been kicking himself when the fusion couldn't be undone, huh?

Wiz: Well, Zamasu was well aware of what fusing with Black would entail, and justified it as a necessary sacrifice for his goals and ideals- taking on the sins of mortals and the failure of gods so as to repeat neither.

Boomstick: Man the self-righteousness on this guy is out of this world.

Wiz: Oh yeah, if there was any weakness Zamasu carried in all of his bodies and incarnations, it would be his exceptional arrogance and egotism. For as experienced and intelligent as he is, he frequently underestimates his foes and believes himself to be both physically and morally above all others. Yet merging into one entity and not just being truly defeated but falling apart piece by piece caused his ego to shatter. As above the sins of mortals as he believed he was, he soon began turning into the very thing he loathed them so much for- a violent, unpredictable perversion of nature, and even the kind of forgiving master that trained him so long ago realised his student had become a lost cause.

Boomstick: But even after being cut down by Trunks and deteriorating so much, Zamasu's will lived on, because if there's one thing Zamasu is good at, it's just refusing to give it a fucking break.

Wiz: As Zamasu was cut down, his will took on a new form all its own, merging with time and space to form his greatest form of all: Infinite Zamasu!

Boomstick: Man, I remember when Dragon Ball was just about the goofy monkey kid going on some wacky adventures instead of actual Lovecraftian nightmares. Like what the hell even is that thing?!

Wiz: Infinite Zamasu is a terror unlike any seen in the Dragon Ball world- becoming one with the universe itself, his face can be seen everywhere you go or look. His judgement cannot be escaped, and any attempt will see you struck down by a blast of Ki from one of his innumerable faces.

Boomstick: A combined Ki assasult from Goku, Vegeta and Trunks just bounced right off of him like he got hit with a tennis ball. Nearly every survivor from his previous reign of terror were wiped off the map. He became practically omnipotent and unbeatable.

Wiz: Except for one being: Zeno, the supreme ruler of the Dragon Ball multiverse, who bested Zamasu by destroying the entire timeline Zamasu had merged with, ending his reign of terror once and for all.

Boomstick: You know you're a menace when it takes destroying the entire multiverse just to finally put you down for good. Zamasu's a monster and anyone who tries to escape his judgement is simply delaying the reaper's scythe.

Wiz: And for Gowasu, the sight of what his former student became left him full of sorrow. The promising pure hearted up and comer he believed had the potential to lead the universe into an age of peace and justice, and in the end, his lust for order lead him to become the most chaotic being across history- a tragic example of the corrupting effect the combination of ideals and the power to make them reality can have on even the most stalwart of warriors.

Zamasu: My form is justice, and my form is the world. Worship me. Give praise unto me. Me, the beautiful, the sublime. Me, the invincible, the almighty and divine. All hail Zamasu.

Fight[]

The planet of Korugar can be seen floating in the infinite vastness of space, its unassuming exterior eventually broken up by the sight of explosions visible from orbit and faint but distinct screams of terror that shattered the spatial silence. Cutting to Korugar City on the planet's surface, citizens of the planet running and screaming in terror as two alien invaders fly across the skies at light speed, raining down Ki attacks that wipe thousands out with every mere wave of their hands. The two invaders were Goku Black and Zamasu, who have found themselves on Korugar and have slaughtered innumerable residents. As Zamasu confronts one terrified family lying on the streets with nothing but horror in their eyes staring at the deity in front of them, his attempts to end them with a Ki blast is interrupted when out of nowhere, his hand is locked within what appears to be a yellow hand restraint and raised right into the air above his head. Zamasu attempts to free his hand briefly, before noticing a presence behind one- the one responsible for stopping his attempt at ending more mortal lives- Sinestro.

Sinestro: Greetings visitor to Korugar, I'm the guardian of this sector, Thaal Sinestro, at your service.

Sinestro's oddly friendly remarks don't last long, as his irritation toward Zamasu becomes incredibly apparent.

Sinestro: As much as I appreciate more witnesses to this great nation, it seems you are causing somewhat of a ruckus around these parts, so I must suggest you and any accompanying parties leave effective immediately.

Sinestro's thinly veiled threat falls on deaf ears, as Zamasu merely laughs at the ever more frustrated foe in front of him.

Zamasu: How quaint of you to think you have the right to talk down to me, mortal.

With an overload of God Ki, Zamasu shatters the Yellow Lantern construct Sinestro had locked his hand with, as Zamasu condescendingly smiles at Sinestro while grabbing something from behind the hair covering his face- a Potara Earring.

Sinestro: Hm?

Sinestro hears a reinforcement approachment: Goku Black, appearing in his Super Saiyan Rosé form with the other Potara Earring on his right ear. Zamasu equips his earring, on his left ear this time, as both earrings begin reacting immediately. They glow an ethereal emerald green, as Goku Black and Zamasu fly toward each other like powerful magnets, colliding chest first with each other as they begin spinning at increasingly rapid speeds in front of Sinestro's own eyes, at they themselves are engulfed in a blinding white light. Their shapes contort and mold within the light until they achieve a uniform shape- one with the hair and clothes of Goku Black but the unmistakeable appearance of Zamasu. The light disappates, as Fused Zamasu takes center stage.

Zamasu: My form is justice. And my form is the world. Worship me. Give praise unto m-

Zamasu's speech to reinforce his superiority is interrupted when Sinestro sucker punches him, with a construct of brass knuckles on both his fists, as he grabs Zamasu by the collar to make his own message clear.

Sinestro: You think too highly of yourself. Leave now, or I'll show you true fear!

Zamasu merely grins, as he simply teleports right out of Sinestro's grip with Kai Kai. Sinestro is momentarily taken aback, as he quickly looks around the area to locate him. Zamasu reappears meters behind him, raising his hand above his head as his Ki forms around his hand into a bladed shape, forming the God Split Cut, as he flies toward Sinestro at blinding speed. Sinestro hears him approaching and immediately flies away to avoid his attack, firing bolts of energy from his ring to keep Zamasu at bay. Zamasu hacks his way through the onslaught with his Ki coated hand, as he starts catching up to Sinestro, who blocks an attempt to slice through him with a construct of a battle axe. A brief power struggle ends in Sinestro pushing Zamasu off of him, as the two continue clashing by flying through the skies at blinding speeds, the only part of their fight visible being the shockwaves emitted from where their attacks connected before immediately darting off in opposite directions to go again the very next instant.

The screams of terror from beneath help Sinestro to gain more power, but despite the benefits, Sinestro doesn't wish for his people to be involved in this fight. He evades one slash from Zamasu attempting to take his head off, before responding with an uppercut from his axe that sends Zamasu flying even further in the air. Sinestro generates constructs of multiple claws that swiftly hack at Zamasu from all directions, before Sinestro swoops in and catches Zamasu by the throat in his bent arm, dragging him into outer space.

Zamasu doesn't let him get as far from his home planet as he likes, as he channels the Ki in his body to create his Barrier of Light, the creation of which pushes Sinestro off of Zamasu, as Zamasu taunts his enemy accordingly.

Zamasu: You, who wields power rivalling the gods, brought me here to save these insignificant worms? An adorable gesture but one that belies how little you are above the sins of mortals. Wall of Light!!!

Ki flies out of Zamasu's body at a breakneck pace, forming around him into the shape of an enormous bird and its emergence creating a powerful shockwave that pushes Sinestro back even further.

Zamasu: Absolute Lightning!!!!!

Purple lightning emerges from the Wall of Light, as Sinestro darts around each attack and fires back at the bolts of lightning with energy attacks from his ring. Zamasu sees clearly that Sinestro is more than able to hold his own against the lightning but is still having to put his full focus into not being smited by it, so using this distraction to its fullest, he warps away with Kai Kai once more, appearing directly behind Sinestro and grabbing him by the back of the head.

Sinestro: What are you- let go of me, you rat!!!

Zamasu's grip is too strong for Sinestro to break free from, as Zamasu flings him around and throws him with Herculean strength back down to Korugar, surrounded in a blast of mighty Ki energy. Sinestro's landing can be seen even from where Zamasu is in the vacuum of space, as he's flung several kilometers into the planet's crust in an explosion that takes half of Korugar City and even more of its terrified and screaming residents with it. Before Sinestro can even get back up, a pink light can be seen from the planet's surface blinking in the skies above- Zamasu is charging up a powerful Ki attack to destroy Korugar.

Zamasu: Kame-

Sinestro tries getting back up, slowly at first.

Zamasu: -HAME-

Sinestro's ring begins glowing.

Zamasu: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sinestro attempts to create a construct of an enormous shield but he doesn't do so in time. Zamasu unleashes the Black Kamehameha, and in mere moments, an enormous Ki laser cleaves Korugar in two. Where the beam directly connected, any and all hit by the attack where vapourised and obliterated, with no matter imaginable withstanding the divine attack, and even the parts of the planet that weren't struck still felt the impact, as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and many more natural disasters were caused by the planet's destruction, wiping billions of lives off the map, the only sound overpowering the carnage being the terrified screams of the planet's people, running for their lives and inevitably being snuffed out one by one. Sinestro lies where the planet was split apart, the yellow light of his ring making him stand out amidst the destruction. He looks up at Zamasu with nothing but bloodlust in his eyes, any patience he may have had before having run out entirely by now.

Sinestro flies at Zamasu at light speed, the yellow light around him making him appear like a comet hurdling towards the angelic deity. He forms a construct shaped like a drill as big as his own body, colliding with Zamasu's Wall of Light and attempting to burrow his way through the avian Ki structure surrounding him, as Zamasu merely mocks his plight.

Zamasu: My light is impenetrable! My will is undying! You've lost, mortal! Now perish at my hand-

Zamasu is cut short and taken aback when Sinestro successfully overpowers the Wall of Light, breaking through Zamasu's Ki as it disappates into nothing, leaving Zamasu wide open and shocked at his foe's power, as Sinestro's construct burrows right into his chest, carrying him for miles across the cosmos as his insides are twisted by a big drill. Sinestro in a moment of blind fury, puts out his own construct in order to grab Zamasu's heart with his own hand, tearing it out of the god's body in violent fashion.

Zamasu: *Choke* Wh-what?

Sinestro: Graaaaaaaaaaagh!!!

Sinestro crushes Zamasu's heart in front of him, leaving the god's body to float off into the endless space as Sinestro stays where he is, looking back at the wreckage of his planet with nothing but grief.

Sinestro: My home world... what has he done to you?...

Instead of cutting his losses after such an unruly genocide, Sinestro, willing to take any means necessary, decides to rectify this mistake.

Sinestro: No... I will not let this be your fate!

With the ring's powers, Sinestro delves into Zamasu's dying mind, scanning through centuries worth of events in mere moments to find the perfect spot to travel back, as a yellow portal forms around him, engulfing his entire body and vanishing from sight as he travels through the flow of time to prevent his planet's destruction. Yet just beforehand, Zamasu's mangled body can still be seen floating off, as his shocked expression is subtly interrupted by a smug grin.

Sinestro reappears several millenia in the past on the planet Babari, where Zamasu still in his unfused state is distracted fending off a Babarian while accompanied by his master Gowasu. Right as Zamasu is about to kill the Babarian, he suddenly feels his body being restrained, as two yellow rings form on his body and drag him up to Sinestro, much to his and Gowasu's confusion.

Zamasu: Wha- who are you?! Explain yourself and unhand me, mortal whelp!

Sinestro: I owe no explanation to a future corpse!

Sinestro forms a construct in a pair of large scissors, Zamasu's head in between each blade as he struggles to break free. Sinestro's attempt to close the blades on Zamasu's neck is foiled however when a Ki blast connects with the scissors and blasts the construct apart, sending Sinestro and the past Zamasu hurdling to the ground. Looking up, Sinestro sees a black portal overhead, with Fused Zamasu flying overhead, seemingly back in one piece from earlier.

Sinestro: What?!

Zamasu: You couldn't live with the weight of your own failure. How typical of a lower being.

Sinestro's face scrunches up in annoyance, as another Babarian comes up behind him and attacks him. Sinestro doesn't even turn to face the monster, instead pointing his ring bearing fist in its direction as his yellow light wraps itself around the Babarian's lower jaw and tears it right off to the beast's horror, splitting the jaw in two to form a pair of fang covered clubs for Sinestro, as Fused Zamasu rapidly approaches him with a Sickle of Sorrow in hand as a very confused Gowasu and past Zamasu use their Time Ring to bail out of there. Sinestro and Zamasu dart across the entire continent at blinding speeds once more, their clashes tearing cliffs and mountains to shreds. As Sinestro stops to call forth another construct, he notices something off around him. Odd lines of light seem to have appeared in their battle across the planet. These weren't just random lights however. They opened up to reveal themselves as tears in space-time, from which Zamasu's Shadows emerged, brought forth during their clash when Zamasu's sickle slashes tore space-time open.

Sinestro's created a construct attached to his back of several scorpion stingers, as he weaved around the Zamasu army's onslaught of Ki blasts to slice them to pieces with his makeshift swords and stab each and every one he comes across with his stinging constructs. The real Zamasu hides amidst his many clones, moving around obscured by their identical silhouette to stay out of danger and form a plan of attack. Sinestro's rampage through the Shadows starts being met with resistance as they start landing several hits in, pelting him with punches and Ki blasts from all sides but not enough to put him on the backfoot just yet, as he continues tearing through them with his constructs until a clear path to his target is formed. Sinestro throws his skeletal weapons in Zamasu's direction, before pointing his fist in their direction to envelop them in light, as the split halves of Barbarian's jaw becomes part of a Barbarian skull construct, which barrels through the Shadows that insist in getting in the way. Zamasu doesn't even flinch at this sight, merely letting out a cocky grin, as his pointer finger is enveloped in its own light- Ki forming into a Divine Wrath attack, which he flings right into the mouth of the construct, which bites down on the attack to neutralise it. Instead, Divine Wrath blasts it apart from the inside, sending the bones within flying in every direction, shooting right through many of the Shadows like shrapnel and taking a good few of them out, though Zamasu himself teleports out of the way of one shard mere picoseconds before it hits him.

Zamasu reappears behind Sinestro again, landing a back kick to Sinestro's back strong enough to crater the ground miles beneath them from the impact of the shockwave alone, as Sinestro goes flying toward a crowd of the remaining Shadows, who pile on the damage with more physical strikes and eventually, grab hold of Sinestro's arms and legs to hold him in place mid-air. Sinestro's struggling proves fruitless, as Zamasu lands one more punch to the gut, which Sinestro initially powers through but using Kiai, Zamasu blasts Sinestro out of orbit and into the far reaches of space, where Zamasu catches up to him at light speed to continue the assault with a Dragon Rush, laying into him with a multitude of martial arts attacks, before grabbing him and with a powerful spin for wind-up, he flings Sinestro through entirely solar systems' worth of planets, as they shatter and blast apart from the impact of him being sent through them, until Sinestro lands on a desert planet thousands of light years away- a distance almost laughable to Zamasu, as he crosses the gap and comes face to face with his fearful foe once more.

Zamasu: Do you hear that, mortal?

The silence that followed up his question was quickly broken up by the screams of entire civilisations of people being maimed and killed as their planets withered away from Zamasu's previous attack.

Zamasu: Do you hear their screams? It's like music to my ears!

Zamasu throws one last punch, but Sinestro catches it in his hand with an ease that takes Zamasu by surprise, as Sinestro starts glowing an intense yellow and he gets back up on his feet, towering over Zamasu and taunting him as he struggles to break free of his grip.

Sinestro: Why yes, it is quite a lovely melody.

Constructs of a series of chains begin to envelop and restrain Zamasu, as a construct of an iron maiden forms behind him to quickly end his attempts at escaping his restraints when Sinestro kicks him into the sharpened spikes inside, which close in on him and locks him inside. Sinestro grabs the chain still peaking out, and with one strong spin off his heel, launches Zamasu into the sun to burn alive inside his spiny prison.

Sinestro: Hmph, worthless god-

Sinestro is interrupted by a blade plunging deep into his back and out of his chest, as he screams in a shocked pain with an accompanying spurt of blood coming out of his mouth.

Sinestro: Gaaaahh!!!

Sinestro turns his head to see Zamasu behind him yet again, as if he was never thrown into the sun to begin with. Sinestro is bewildered but Zamasu soon gives him the pieces to put together what's going on, as several dark portals form in the sky and more Zamasus come out of them- not even Shadows like before but versions of Zamasu like what he had faced at the beginning of the fight as if nothing happened to him. Almost as if...

Zamasu: My will is immortal. So long as I exist in time, you cannot escape my judgement.

Zamasu points his God Split Cut baring hand to the sky, with Sinestro still skewered by the Ki, before launching a powerful blast of Ki that sends him flying once again into the depths of space, as the newly arrived Zamasus give chase. Sinestro briefly recovers and attempts to launch a volley of energy attacks to intercept the mad god, but his attempts are fruitless, as one merely uses God Split Cut to block an energy blast headed for him while the others fly right by and around Sinestro before launching their next wave of attacks- slamming into him and tossing him around with a strong volley of kicks like a game of hot potato, before hacking into him with God Split Cut once more, even managing to take one of his arms and legs off in the process, as Sinestro tries to muffle his own pained yells. With the ring on his remaining arm, Sinestro fires another bursts of energy beams to slow the Zamasu gang down, though they still give him little time to work with as they power through his beams. Sinestro closes his eyes and calms himself, as he begins the first step to him turning the tables.

Sinestro: In Blackest Day, in brightest night-

Zamasu starts closing in on him.

Sinestro: Beware your fears made into light!

Zamasu nearly reaches him.

Sinestro: Let those who try to stop what's right-

Zamasu finally gets through the beams, and he and his identical twins raise their hands to cleave into Sinestro once more.

Sinestro: Burn like my power!

A powerful yellow aura begins engulfing Sinestro and nearly blinding Zamasu.

Sinestro: SINESTRO'S MIGHT!!!

An explosion of yellow energy sends Zamasu and his duplicates flying back, as a construct of Sinestro's missing limbs take their place on his body and Sinestro launches a volley of even stronger constructs than before, taking the form of many large and ferocious lions that snatch many of the Zamasus in their jaws and chow down on them, their jagged teeth tearing through Zamasu's flesh. One Zamasu manages to catch the lion sent his way with his bare hands, sending his Ki coated hand into the lion's mouth and slicing it in two from the inside out. Sinestro's limb-like constructs reshape themselves into proper appendages as he heals his previous wounds for good and gets back into the fight on the right foot.

Sinestro: I swore to protect my home world with my life, and I will not allow a fool like you to lay a finger on it!

Zamasu: Bah! You and what army?

Sinestro smirks, as hundreds- no, thousands, nay, maybe millions of dark portals open up to reveal even more Zamasus that surround the Yellow Lantern. Sinestro raises his hand in Zamasu's direction and gives him his answer.

Sinestro: Your army.

Sinestro clenches his fist and releases another light from his Yellow Lantern ring, forming constructs in a shape that takes Zamasu by surprise: himself. Zamasu's army of mirror images charges at Sinestro, as his army of copycat constructs meets them in an all out war. The primary Zamasu that stabbed Sinestro earlier watches his forms from millions of points in time collide with Sinestro's Zamasu constructs and gloats at Sinestro for his weapon of choice.

Zamasu: You, a mere mortal, who has been gifted with that most precious of gifts: the gift of creation itself. And yet, you use it to merely imitate the gods. And why would that be? Is it because we are so beautiful? So... perfect?

Sinestro: Perfect, hm?

Sinestro rearms himself with constructs of brass knuckles, as he and Zamasu fling themselves at each other at blinding speeds once more amidst the army of Zamasu and Zamasu constructs doing the same thing, while those not moving at such speeds are ran over and splattered across time and space like paint on a wall. Sinestro and Zamasu's momentum come to a screeching halt as they meet each other with a punch straight to the face, their accompanying armies performing a similar clash that causes shockwaves to ripple across the universe from the impact. Sinestro slowly turns his head against Zamasu's fist in order to peer into his eyes.

Sinestro: Let me see what "perfection" fears the most!

Sinestro's eyes light up a soul-piercing yellow as he stares into the depths of Zamasu's centuries old psyche. Zamasu forms his Ki around his hand once more and attempts to stab right into Sinestro's eyes. Sinestro's perception of time slows to a crawl, as he scans the endless stream of memories and thoughts in Zamasu's head in search of his most crippling of insecurities and most loathsome fears. Eventually, he finds just what he's looking for.

Sinestro: I can see it in your eyes... what you truly fear!

Before Zamasu can tear Sinestro's eyes out, a fist out of nowhere collides with the other side of his face and sends him flying before he can even comprehend what had just happened. He looks back at Sinestro to see his latest construct, and Zamasu nearly had to do a double take when he saw what Sinestro had summoned to tear the divine being apart.

Zamasu: G-Goku?!

Indeed, Sinestro learned of the mortal Zamasu was most humiliated by in his genocidal expedition: Son Goku. But he didn't stop there. Zamasu looked around, as even more constructs resembling foes from Zamasu's past started laying waste to his army. A Vegeta construct blasted many Zamasus away with a devastating yellow Gallick Gun, while a Trunks construct cleaved through hundreds of them with few swings of a recreated Sword of Hope. A second pair of Goku and Vegeta constructs even merged into Vegito and fired a volley of Stardust Breakers that dissolve into the many Zamasu duplicates, before bursting into pillars of yellow light that disintegrate them from the inside out. Zamasu is taken aback in shock at what was happening, before being snapped to his senses by a taunting Sinestro.

Sinestro: Answer me this, "god"-

Zamasu turned to see Sinestro floating above him in what almost appeared like an act of defiance and superiority, surrounded by his army of crafted mortal copies.

Sinestro: Can your "judgement" beat true fear!?

Zamasu started softly chuckling, laying his head in his hand as he processed it all, before raising his head to the non-existent skies and letting out a wild laugh that nearly lasted minutes.

Zamasu: You not only imitate the gods, but DARE to mock them as well!? Your blasphemy knows no bounds you heathenous stain on this world! GROVEL AT MY FEET AND QUIVER IN FEAR AT MY JUDGEMENT MORTAL SCUM!!!

Sinestro: Oh please! I quiver in fear at nothing!

Sinestro raises his hand over his head...

Sinestro: I AM FEAR!!!

Before pointing his arm toward Zamasu and signaling his constructs to attack him.

Zamasu: Grrr, enough of this tomfoolery! BLADES OF JUDGEMENT!!!

Zamasu's halo reappears and opens up to create a space for a multitude of crimson portals to appear and rain down a series of spiked Ki attacks. Though they tear through several constructs, the Trunks construct is able to block the assault with the Sword of Hope, as the Goku and Vegeta constructs fly around the hailstorm of heaven rending blades to get a clear shot at Zamasu with a Kamehameha and a Gallick Gun. Zamasu throws Holy Wrath at the oncoming beam attacks, creating an earth-shattering Ki clash with devastating power coming from either end. The Vegito construct flies threw the Blades of Judgement though and reaches Zamasu to deliver a punch to the gut that sends a powerful shockwave out the other end of Zamasu's body and blows away any Zamasus behind him. Sinestro sacrifices the Vegito construct to the beam struggle, as the Holy Wrath is pushed back into Zamasu's face by the mortals' Ki attacks and creates a cosmic scale explosion that engulfs most foes present in the blast.

The cloud of smoke subsides and Zamasu stands in the center still able to fight but starting to wear thin from the onslaught, as his face begins to melt into a sludgy purple flab of skin, sullying his divine beauty. He merely floats in place, almost marveling at the fight he just went through, as Sinestro and his construct army quickly closes the gap to finish him off. Zamasu sees them coming and quickly raises his arm toward the heavens.

Zamasu: LIGHT OF DIVINE JUSTICE! STRIKE AT ME NOW!

A series of purple lightning bolts forces Sinestro back, as a white pillar of light bright enough to blind a universe surrounds Zamasu. Upon dissipating, Zamasu can be seen once again, this time with a right arm that has turned purple and swollen, nearly doubling in size from what it was seconds prior.

Zamasu: Ehehehehe! GYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS COLOUR, MORTAL!? IS IT NOT BEAUTIFUL!!!?

Sinestro: Tch. Not even a mother could love a face such as that.

Zamasu flies toward Sinestro, who creates several constructs in the shape of giant fists, as the two enter a power struggle where Sinestro clashes his own fists and his constructs with another Dragon Rush from Zamasu, who's elegant and graceful movements from before have turned into a feral series of hammer swings with his club of an arm. They clash once more with a single punch, Zamasu's grotesque arm and Sinestro's construct engaging in another power struggle as they try to overwhelm each other, all while the other Zamasus and constructs fight in the background. Zamasu starts losing the struggle initially, but the grinning Sinestro soon has his smile wiped off of his face when Zamasu starts to grow... and grow... and grow even further, reaching a size that obscures the sun behind them and encases him in a threatening shadow, as he shatters the fist construct and sends Sinestro hurdling down from the impact.

Sinestro fires a series of energy beams at Zamasu but a series of smaller versions of him fly in and using their telekinesis, cause Sinestro's own attacks to swerve around them and go right back to sender. Sinestro erects a barrier around him to block his own attacks, as well as a series of Ki attacks coming from all direction by the other Zamasus. Heavenly Arrows, Divine Wraths, Absolute Lightnings, Blades of Judgement, everything and the kitchen sink was flung at the Yellow Lantern. Grotesque Zamasu leans in with his massive arm, stopping at nothing to reach his target and plowing through friend and foe alike as his many selves and the many constructs are crushed by his hand, which grabs Sinestro's barrier and in one clean clench of his fist, shatters it and traps Sinestro in his hand. As he struggles to escape, Zamasu keeps gloating, as his hand lights up a bright fuchsia and engulfs Sinestro in a devastating Ki attack: his Flames of Retribution.

Sinestro: GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Zamasu: YOUR POWER MAY RIVAL THAT OF THE GODS AND POSSIBLY FURTHER! BUT YOU WILL NEVER MATCH THE MIGHT OF ZAMASU! KNOW YOUR PLACE!!!

Through the excruciating pain that felt as though he were bathing in the heart of a star, Sinestro continued to try and struggle his way out of Zamasu's grip, before eventually freeing one arm, raising it above his head as his ring glowed once more.

Sinestro: My place is ABOVE YOU!!!

As Sinestro loudly shouted his retort affirming his own superiority, a vibrant yellow light began engulfing the two, and space-time around them seemed to warp and distort as the light grew more intense, before eventually subsiding and revealing the two have vanished. The light appears once more in a different part of space, as the enlarged Zamasu and the captive Sinestro re-emerge. But they haven't simply teleported. As Zamasu quickly realises when he looks around to see what Sinestro did, they have travelled to time, a notion he confirmed upon seeing billions of miles away his past self battling Sinestro over the soon to be pulverised Korugar. With another channeling of fear through his ring, Sinestr engulfed himself in a construct that started growing in size rapidly and reshaping itself. Zamasu couldn't keep his grip on him for long, as Sinestro became encased in a construct of a Lovecraftian monstrosity.

Zamasu engages the construct once more, as the two engage in an all out giant fist fight. Zamasu's gigantic arm lands him a few lucky hits, but Sinestro's construct manages to slip around many of his attacks and repeatedly jab Zamasu square in the face. Zamasu slips his normal arm beneath Sinestro's gaze and places it on the chest of the construct, before firing an enormous Ki beam that he hopes will destroy it in one go. Instead what happens is that the construct grabs Zamasu by the face and shoves his head back, as Sinestro travels down the length of his construct's arm and while pointing the ring at Zamasu's face, gazes into his eyes once more. Zamasu feels a cold shiver run down his spine, as his vision is obscured by centuries worth of memories being replayed in his mind like an old home movie.

Zamasu: What- what is this?! Why are you showing me this?!

Sinestro: Your fear will make you stronger... for your role as my puppet!

Zamasu is blinded by a yellow light emitting from the ring, and his anguished screams are quickly drowned out as the light turns the entire arena one large ball of yellow. When the light subsides, everything appears to be normal... except Zamasu's eyes open up to reveal a yellow light emitting from his pupils. Sinestro brainwashed him and turned him into a mindless puppet.

Sinestro: Now, you keep your brethren busy. I have my own business to attend to.

Sinestro flies off, as the Zamasu army catches up to him by reappearing through a series of dark portals to the current point in time the fight is taking place. None of them make it very far though, as the massive, grotesque Zamasu follows his new master's commands and begins slaughtering them one by one to the other Zamasus utter bewilderment- their own attempts to put the titanic deity down only ending in them being reduced to puddles of blood in the vacuum of space.

All the while, Sinestro flies toward where he and Zamasu were fighting at the start of the fight. The past Zamasu flings Sinestro's past self around and throws him with Herculean strength back down to Korugar, surrounded in a blast of mighty Ki energy. Sinestro's landing can be seen even from where Zamasu is in the vacuum of space, as he's flung several kilometers into the planet's crust in an explosion that takes half of Korugar City and even more of its terrified and screaming residents with it. Before the past Sinestro can even get back up, a pink light can be seen from the planet's surface blinking in the skies above- Zamasu is charging up a powerful Ki attack to destroy Korugar.

Zamasu: Kame-

Sinestro tries getting back up, slowly at first.

Zamasu: -HAME-

Sinestro's ring begins glowing.

Zamasu: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sinestro attempts to create a construct of an enormous shield but he doesn't do so in time. Zamasu unleashes the Black Kamehameha...

only for it to be blocked by a portal through time that appears out of nowhere in the way of the attack. Cutting back to where the Zamasu army is fighting the enlarged Zamasu, several yellow portals open up around them, as Zamasu's own Kamehameha flies out of each of them and engulfs the many selves of Zamasu in the blast radius, including the massive Zamasu that gets torn to shreds by a repeated volley of Kamehamehas, as more portals open up to catch the Ki attack and send it flying to other points in time. The space where they had previously fought with their respective armies, where several Zamasus were still preparing to make the leap through time to rejoin the fight became littered with these portals and blasted the remaining Zamasus apart, and even many points in Zamasu's life disconnected from the fight saw him get reduced to dust from his own attack as the portals opened up to unleashed his attack back at him.

The current Zamasu that tried to blow Korugar up stops firing his attack and watches in confusion as he sees in the very distance a series of portals amidst the cosmos open up to send beams of Ki hurdling through time and space.

Zamasu: What?!

Zamasu doesn't have long to think, as he suddenly feels both his hands and feet restrained in locks that flip him upside down. He struggles to break free, but his fate is sealed. Sinestro flies down to meet him and finish the deed, forming a construct around his hand in the shape of a painful looking chainsaw.

Sinestro: You're no god...

Sinestro raised the chainsaw construct above his head, staring back at the stunned Zamasu with a murderous stare.

Sinestro: You're vermin.

Sinestro swings the chainsaw down and begins cleaving Zamasu in half from the groin down to his head, making extra sure to do the process as slowly and as painfully as possible, as Zamasu screams bloody agony during the entire process.

Zamasu: GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

His screams come to an abrupt end when Sinestro slices his head in two. Zamasu is released from his restraints and both halves of him are left to float into space, as a weary Sinestro turns back to his planet in exhausted relief.

Sinestro: Finally... you're safe.

Unfortunately for Sinestro, he wasn't out of the game quite as soon as he thought he was. Despite being split in two, Zamasu started chuckling and eventually, laughing, as a shocked Sinestro turns to see his remains still too stubborn to die without one last sermon.

Zamasu: My form... is justice... and my form... is the world...

Sinestro can feel something amiss. The universe started to tremble, as though something cosmically powerful were on the horizon.

Zamasu: Worship me... give praise... unto me... me, the beautiful... the sublime... me, the invincible... the almighty and divine...

Korugar gets coated in a thick dark green sky and the cosmos begin to darken. The screams of the populace of the universe fill all sound in the area.

Zamasu: My light is impenetrable... my will is undying... you've lost... mortal...

Red lights in the shape of Zamasu's face begin filling all of time and space. Everywhere you look, Zamasu looked back. The green sphere enveloping Korugar similarly wore his face, grinning back at a fearful universe.

Zamasu: All... hail... ZAMASUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuu...

Zamasu's body finally died and withered into nothing, as Infinite Zamasu was left to deal with the guardian of Korugar. Sinestro is awestruck at what he is witnessing but in his usual overconfident in himself way, he simply reaffirms that Zamasu could never be better than him.

Sinestro: Hmph... lucky for me, crushing the will of fools is what I'm best at!

Sinestro flew toward the many faces of Zamasu the made up the universe, firing a volley of energy beams from his ring to blast through them. To his surprise, the beams merely bounce right off of his target, as Zamasu responds with his own volley of country sized beams from the mouth of each of his faces. Sinestro attempts to block the incoming attacks with a construct of an enormous shield but in little time, it shatters under the pressure and sends Sinestro hurdling into a large meteor. Zamasu targets him down with a never-ending wave of Ki beams, pelting Sinestro repeatedly and painfully. Sinestro begins to feel something he never thought he could feel- a proper sense of fear. Sinestro's pained and fearful cries can be heard for miles, accompanied by Infinite Zamasu's haunting laugh. A small portal appears right next to Sinestro's hand, as he slowly reaches into it while being assaulted by numerous attacks. He pulls his hand out, revealing the central battery of the Yellow Lantern ring in his hand. Though getting closer and closer to death, Sinestro goes for one last ditch effort move to win. One Ki attack hits the battery head on, triggering an enormous light that illuminates the entire universe. The light soon subsides, revealing to Zamasu what Sinestro brought forth into the battle: Parallax.

The sight of the distorted monster embodying all fear sent a tiny sliver of fear through Zamasu's mind- a seemingly momentary and harmless feeling that went away soon but wasn't as inconsequential as it seemed at first. Infinite Zamasu charges up for another round of attacks, as Parallax, hearing the terrified screams of the universe around it, channels a universe's worth of fear into a singular localised beam, completing the package with the fear from Zamasu- another universe sized package of terror. Zamasu fires a Ki blast at the frightful parasite, who responds in kind by firing a beam of pure fear to clash with it. Parallax's attack wins out in the end, splitting through Zamasu's Ki and sniping one of the faces of Zamasu's body, creating a hole in the universal menace. Parallax flies into Sinestro's now unconscious body, possessing the Yellow Lantern and causing him to twitch and contort as he got up, glaring at where he blasted Zamasu with a nightmarish grin on his vessel's face.

Parallax: Ý̴̥̠͘o̶͛̋ͅu̸̳̎̄ ̷̘̹͊ẃ̸͕͇̋î̵͙̳l̶̞͍͒̄l̵̹̈̀ ̴͔̳͋̚k̷̬͉͝n̵͇̓͆o̵̼͊͒͜ẉ̵̰͂̏ ̶̨̠͊̄t̵͕̀ḥ̶̊͠ě̴̲͑ ̷̬̮̏m̷̭͋e̵̺͔̽ą̶̟̂n̸̖̐̉i̷̙̺̋n̴͇̪͋̒g̸̱̽̆͜ ̸̣̪̄͐ö̸͚́͝f̵̳̼͒͝ ̴̢͑f̶̻̕e̵͕͋͘â̵̺̈́r̶̡̨̊.

Piloting Sinestro's body at speeds far surpassing light, he flies into the hole in Infinite Zamasu as the wound begins closing up. Zamasu begins laughing, thinking he had won the fight, but his victory is short-lived as he hears a voice echo inside of him, and he feels a cold sense of dread swell up within him.

Parallax: Y̸͇̚o̸͖̩̐͘ü̶̦̚r̷̅̇͜ ̴̞͂̎f̶̥͂͂e̵̙̅̕ä̸͈́r̶͉̘͗.̴̟̏.̸̗͓̎͛.̸̜͗̀

Infinite Zamasu starts radiating a bright yellow light that quickly climbs up his infinite body, as his frightening laughter turns to screams of abstract horror that echo across entire timelines.

Parallax: I̷̮̭̥̭̊́̚S̷̫̅̆̋̕ ̶͚̦̝̻͗͑̑̚D̵̮̗͗Ẽ̷̯̳̘̕͝L̵͇̺͖̕Ȉ̵̭́C̴̖̙͎̱̔̕̚Ḯ̴̡̡͍̿̒̍Ö̵͓͓̙́̍Ų̴͉̅͛͑́S̷̨̲̐͌.̷̩͋

Zamasu screams louder and more terrified as he is consumed by Parallax's light, until it eventually overtakes the last of his many faces and distorts it into something unrecognisable, before eventually...

nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

Everything went black. There was nothing in sight. Save for one thing- Zamasu. Back in his fused body, he looked around hurriedly trying to figure out where he ended up and what had happened.

Zamasu: Wha-where I am?

His frantic searching eventually sees him finding several mortals standing around in this eternal void of darkness. He can't even make out their faces but he sees mortals and knows what he must do. He forms his signature God Split Cut once more and flies toward the mortals to cut them down...

only for his attack to shatter on impact against the head of his target mortal, without them so much as flinching, much to his shock. The mortal, who's face was featureless save for a creepy smile, grabbed Zamasu by the arm and swung him straight to the ground without the slightest effort, before stomping on the stunned Zamasu's arm and shattering his bone effortlessly. The other mortals kick him while he's down and bludgeon him with whatever instrument is at their disposal, as a beaten and bloodied Zamasu looks up to the missing skies to see a pair of yellow eyes staring back at him. He knows now what is going on, and his humiliation is only second to his unending outrage.

Zamasu: Damn you, mortal... DAMN YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

The camera zooms out to reveal Zamasu's torment to be going on in Infinite Zamasu's mind, who has been laid into an eternal nightmare, trapped inside a pocket dimension Sinestro held within his hand, as the other hand held the central battery which he released Parallax from and subsequently returned him to.

Sinestro: Sleep well... you won't wake up from it any time soon.

Sinestro, now back in his original timeline, flies proud over the people of the now saved Korugar, as he raises both his hands in triumph to the applause of the people he fought so hard to save, even in spite of the resentment they held for him before.

Announcer: K.O.!!!

Boomstick: Oh I get it. Zamasu is green, Sinestro beats Green Lanterns' shit in all the time, and hell Trunks even had yellow hair when he cut Zamasu down! Oh my god it all makes sense why he lo-

*Wiz smacks Boomstick*

Boomstick: OW!!!

Wiz: There's no questioning Zamasu's might was downright ludicrous- certainly among the best Dragon Ball has to offer. Yet even with all that might at his fingertips, Sinestro had everything he needed to take the win in the end.

Boomstick: It's pretty obvious that Thaal had speed in the bag. Zamasu can keep up with universe crossing speeds no problem, but Lantern constructs being able to scan the entirety of the universe is in a league of its own.

Wiz: Effectively speaking, in the time it would take for Zamasu to move in a single line across the universe, Sinestro could explore each and every last square metre of said universe.

Boomstick: So Zamasu wasn't gonna get the win through simply outpacing Sinestro. He'd have to rely on his wits, arsenal and power to pull it off, but unfortunately for him, Sinestro had an answer for all three of those.

Wiz: Both Sinestro and Zamasu are incredible schemers and manipulators that can put some crazy plans into motion, and Zamasu's far longer life span means he has the experience to boot. However, Zamasu's strategy doesn't revolve nearly as much around getting into people's heads as Sinestro does, who's entire powerset relies on exploiting insecurities in a person's psyche, and his ring's ability to delve into Zamasu's mind meant it was difficult for Zamasu to outwit him.

Boomstick: And while Zamasu's arsenal was incredibly large... I mean come on, this is a Lantern we're talking about. If Sinestro could think of it, he could probably make it a reality, and the ring's other powers gave him plenty of other answers for whatever Zamasu could throw at him. He could counter Zamasu's teleportation with his own wormholes, or even with Zamasu's immortality he could just mess with his mind until he was unable to fight any longer.

Wiz: Even with a massive numbers advantage against him courtesy of Zamasu's army of... well, himself, Lanterns like John Stewart making life sized solar systems means Sinestro had the range and area of effect needed to blast through most of them with ease.

Boomstick: Even with Zamasu's universe busting power, he wasn't likely to deal with the construct before his numbers started running low from the attack. But none of these matter as much as the question of who was stronger.

Wiz: And this is where we start getting into some tricky guesswork. Both Sinestro and Zamasu are so powerful, reality itself could hardly contain their might, and with the sheer scale of the DC and Dragon Ball universes compared to our own and the multiplying effect of the many Super Saiyan transformations Zamasu either possessed or could compete with, locking down exact numbers could get rather messy, especially when bringing Infinite Zamasu into the picture in the latter's case. Lucky for us though, we don't need to.

Boomstick: All thanks to Sinestro's little parasite in a can, Parallax.

Wiz: Parallax not only battled and harmed the Specter, but straight up terrified him.

Boomstick: Now, why is that impressive? Well y'know Doctor Fate? Doctor "bested the Lords of Order that threatened to destroy the infinite DC multiverse" Fate?

As seen in Doctor Strange vs Doctor Fate.

Boomstick: Yeah uh, Specter ragdolled him like an insignificant speck of dust on his boot. But not Parallax apparently!

Wiz: And don't forget, Sinestro has Parallax on his leash- he conquered Parallax's fear and controlled him like his own. While we don't have exact numbers for the sheer might of Infinite Zamasu, one thing we know is that, even if we were exceedingly generous and just assume his strength is infinite in scale, he still would not match this power.

Boomstick: Remember, when Zeno destroyed the entire timeline Zamasu merged with... he died. No ifs, no ands, definitely no buts, he was gone, done, deadso. Sinestro basically commands a power on par with what killed Zamasu at his strongest. Not like he needed it when he could've also had Parallax just possess or mind bend Zamasu like he's done to the likes of Superman.

Wiz: There was no denying Zamasu's status as one of the strongest combatants in Dragon Ball history, but Sinestro's frightening speed, terrifying arsenal and downright nightmare inducing strength ultimately triumphed over divine judgement.

Boomstick: At this fight's Corp, Zamasu didn't have the supreme power needed to keep Sinestro from putting him through the ringer!

Wiz: The winner is Thaal Sinestro.

Additional Notes[]

The connections between Sinestro vs Zamasu are that they are both former members of a group meant to maintain peace across the universe that were mentored by one of their greatest members (Abin Sur of the Green Lantern Corps and Gowasu of the Supreme Kai respectively), who grew frustrated with the gods of their universe (the Guardians and the Supreme Kai respectively) for doing too little to maintain order and deal with what they saw as massive issues (Sinestro believing the Green Lanterns spread themselves too thin and were too inefficient in maintaining order, while Zamasu believed mortals to be dangerous and volatile), with their methods of dealing with these issues leading them to be found out and punished for their actions (Sinestro enslaving his planet, Zamasu plotting to genocide all mortal life) before returning to wreak havoc on those that wronged them (Sinestro returning with a Yellow Lantern ring to terrorise the Green Lanterns, Zamasu being contacted by Goku Black in a separate timeline to terrorise the universe), while bearing a grudge against the hero that humiliated them in their quest (Hal Jordan and Son Goku respectively) and becoming more powerful through utilising another being linked to them (Parallax and Goku Black respectively) and a ring that makes them even harder to battle and was instrumental in their plans (the Yellow Lantern Ring and the Time Ring respectively).
