History[]
As a child working to dig holes for his underground village, Simon was shy and lacking confidence in himself. Under the confidence of his friend and self-dubbed "soul brother" Kamina, finding one of the last remaining Lagann, Simon gained the courage to travel to the surface and meets various friends like Yoko Littner. But Kamina's death when the newly formed Team Dai-Gurren openly declared war on Lordgenome, Simon suffered a spiraling depression. It was only meeting Nia Tepplin that Simon became the man Kamina always believed him to become, leading Team Dai-Gurren in defeating Lordgenome. Years later, eventually marrying Nia, Simon ends up fighting the Anti-Spiral race before leaving the spotlight in favor of the next generation.
