Description:[]
Reboot season bitches! And y'know what? Why not kick off the season with a joke battle. Two of the weirdest swordsmen I have ever seen. . .
Intro:[]
Sheepboi: We're back, and we'll try to stick around this time!
Kirby: And what better way to kick off the season than with a joke battle for the ages!
Sheepboi: The Shogun, TABS' wacky general! *Cough cough* Totally an anime protag *Cough cough*
Kirby: And Saber, also known as Artoria Pendragon, the King of Britian and the. . . genderbended King Arthur. . . ummmm. . . never thought I would say that before.
Sheepboi: He's Kirby and I'm Sheepboi!
Kirby: And it's out job to measure our combatant's weapons, armour, and stats to find out who would win, a Death Battle!
Shogun[]
Kirby: TABS. The wacky world where you summon warriors from across time to do battle. Pretty weird right? Well, in that simulation world there exists a being, the pinnacle of swordfighters in TABS you might say. Who is this warrior? The Shogun!
Strength:[]
- Close to Thor's damage
- This may be due to the fact the Shogun carries a sword
- Able to harm Giants
- This includes tanks
- Can one-shot armored beings
- A fully armored knight got two-shotted
Speed:[]
- Able to deflect bullets
- If you make a custom unit, and give it a barrett, the Shogun can still deflect this!
- It's likely the Shogun can't deflect Ballista Bolts because their size.
- Painters can dodge lightning from Zeus, Shogun, being a general who should be more experienced and trained, should be much faster than a painter
- Given that movement speed is slower than reaction speed, the Shogun should also be able to slice at the speed of lightning
- Lightning travels at mach 364
- Given that movement speed is slower than reaction speed, the Shogun should also be able to slice at the speed of lightning
- Able to dodge hits from the boxer.
- Average boxer can punch at 25 MPH
- Can also dodge Super Boxer
- The Super Boxer is about 23 times the cost of a regular Boxer unit.
- Assumming this means that the Super Boxer is 23x better than the Boxer unit, the Super Boxer would be able to punch at speeds of 575 MPH
- The fastest punch ever recorded was 45 MPH.
- Assumming regular Boxer units can reach these speeds, The Super Boxer would be able to punch at 1,035 MPH. Over mach 1.
- The Super Boxer is about 23 times the cost of a regular Boxer unit.
Durability:[]
- Takes hits from Thor
- Can take a hit from Super Boxer
- Assumming regular Boxer units can reach strengths equal to the strongest punch ever recorded, Super boxer should be able to hit with a force of 2,970,703 units.
- Can take multiple hits from Zeus' lightning
- Lightning reaches 50,000 degrees Fahrenheit
- 30,000 degrees Celsius
- This lightning one-shots some units
- Lightning reaches 50,000 degrees Fahrenheit
- Gets stabbed by spears and shrugs it off
- Can get hit by bullets, and shrugs it off
- Can tank "sun orbs" to the face, and shrugs it off.
- The sun's core is about 27 million degrees
- Can get hit and rammed by horses
- Can survive the weight of a tank for a while
- Can tank grenades and bombs
- Can get charged by the Minotaur and is fine
- Bulls charge with a force of 4 tons
Intellect:[]
- As a general, should be battle wise and have good tactics
- Also a dumbass half the time
Skills/Special Abilities:[]
- Deflect
- Dodge
- Presise Hurricane Slash
- High health units get damage done by precentages
- This make it durability negating
- This ability is a bit overpowered in the sense that even beings like Superman and Goku would succumb to it's effects as it does damage by precentages, not to say Goku and Superman would lose to the Shogun though
- Also negates armor
- This make it durability negating
- This move make the user invincible from start to near the finish
- Attacks done to the Shogun like this will not take any HP away or even cause him to move.
- Trying to shoot him with with Bug DLC powers was useless, as the projectiles phased right through him
- Attacks done to the Shogun like this will not take any HP away or even cause him to move.
- Very good AoE attack
- High health units get damage done by precentages
Weapons/Armor:[]
- Wields the Shogun's Katana
- Armor is likely made of bamboo
Feats:[]
- Can take down the likes or Thor, The King, The Monkey King, Lady Red Jade, and occassionally the Sensei
- Blocked bullets with ease
- Can deflect apples and leave them completely fine (?)
Weaknesses:[]
- Not durable
- The Jester unit costs 300 as oppossed to the Shogun's 3,500, and they can still win via dodging and kicking him, which the Shogun cannot dodge
- Rapid fire can overwhelm the deflect ability of the Shogun
- Can't always dodge attacks from large melee weapons (For example, the King's sword)
- Large projectiles are impossible for the Shogun to deflect
Sheepboi: The Shogun is a remarkably powerful swordsman, and I'd expect nothing less from a general of Japan. His fighting style seems to be more hit-and-run though, and units like the Gatling Gun can beat him because he overwhealms the deflect ability until the Shogun can't deflect anymore, and has to cool down.
Kirby: The Shogun isn't exactly durable either, as one hit from Thor is enough to nearly kill him. And his HP is less than a Mace Spinner, 720 to 726, despite the Spinner being 7x less in points value.
Sheepboi: But still, the Shogun is a legendary warrior, whom you don't wanna mess with.
Shogun: *Yells in gibberish*
Saber[]
Note: As to keep this fair, Saber is anime only with Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night (Unlimited Blade works). Her master will be Shirou Emiya, but we'll assume her stats are the same as they would be had her master been Kiritsugu. Mordred scaling will be allowed. She will of course not be getting her feats as a Lancer, or her spear.
Sheepboi: The Holy Grail War. A battle between seven masters and seven servants, set up by the Holy Grail itself to see who wins. . . the Holy Grail.
Kirby: There are seven different classes in the Grail War. Beserker, Rider, Caster, Assassin, Lancer, Archer, and usually the most sought after, Saber.
Sheepboi: While there are many different Saber class servants, we'll be focussing on the most infamous of them all: Artoria Pendragon.
Strength:[]
- Flips over a car
- Her first battle with Lancer (Diarmuid) split open and destroyed multiple cargo containers
- Her first battle with Diarmuid also resulted in them cracking the ground and sending rocks flying multiple times
- Somewhat scales to Beserker (Lancelot), who could create craters and destroy several of the Noble Phantasms from Gate Of Babylon
- Scales to Diarmuid, who easily cut through a metal pole amped up by Beserker (Lancelot)
- Able to harm Beserker (Heracles), who could tank Archer (EMIYA)'s arrows without a scratch
- Easily pierced Mordred's armor and one-shotted her
- Granted, this was with her spear, but Excalibur should be comparable
- This was a feat from her past, therefore, it still counts even if it wasn't directly shown.
- Granted, this was with her spear, but Excalibur should be comparable
- Mordred could knock over Adam (Noble Phantasm) with Sieg's help
- At full capacity, Excalibur should be comparable to Ea
- Ea split apart and completely destroyed Iskandar's Reality Marble
Speed:[]
- Dodged and deflected bullets from a minigun
- Able to fight on par with Beserker (Lancelot), who could dodge and deflect weapons from Gate Of Babylon
- Said Gate's Noble Phantasms could outpace and get ahead of a fighter jet
- An average US fighter jet cruises around 383 MPH
- Said Gate's Noble Phantasms could outpace and get ahead of a fighter jet
- Scales to Mordred
Durability:[]
- Tanked a beating from Beserker (Lancelot)
- In said beating, Lancelot threw her into a pillar so hard it cracked
- Got stabbed by Gilgamesh's Noble Phantasms and didn't start screaming (Pain tolerance)
- Took a beating from Kuzuki
- In the fight, she was punched so hard she crashed into a building from several feet away
- Seconds later, she simply got up to fight Caster (Medea)
- In the fight, she was punched so hard she crashed into a building from several feet away
- Her durability should be comparable to her AP, in which she managed to destroy Caster (Gilles)'s giant monster in a single shot
- She should be somewhat comparable to Beserker (Lancelot), who could survive being run over by Iskandar
- Mordred tanked a punch from Adam (Noble Phantasm)
Intellect:[]
- Lead Britain, an entire kingdom
- Kept her identity secrect for years
Skills/Special Abilities:[]
- Magic Resistance
- Able to tame and ride nearly anything
- Always gains knowlage of the presant world when summonned
- Regeneration
- Precognition
Weapons/Armor:[]
- Excalibur
- Magic Armor
- Invisible Air
Weaknesses:[]
- A very honorable foe
- Her amor is her only defence
- Beserkers have proven to be a problem for her
- If one of her hands is injured, she cannot unleash Excalibur's true power
- Excalibur is very mana consuming, so she cannot fire off Excalibur's full might often
- Excalibur's full power can only be summonned if a entity threatening the planet is who she is battling
- Mental/verbal attacks have been shown to get to her, as seen with Rider (Iskandar)
Feats:[]
- Harmed Beserker (Heracles) and one-shotted Beserker (Lancelot)
- One-shotted Caster (Gilles)'s giant monster
- Forced Iskandar to retreat
- Managed to stay materiallized even after she used Excalibur (Unlimited Blade Works)
- Defeated Assassin (Sasaki) in combat
- Broke out of Archer (EMIYA)'s Unlimited Blade Works Reality Marble
Sheepboi: Born. . . somewhere, Artoria Pendragon was born into a time of chaos and war.
Kirby: So she was sent off to live with Merlin the wizard of Oz- erm, Camalot. She did a bunch of boring shit, until she pulled Caliburn out of the stone and became king of Britain.
Sheepboi: But it was only ten years later, when she slew her uncle Vortigern, that she was truly crowned King. Now, Artoria was a natrual at being King, and did it her job well. The problem? She did her job too well.
Kirby: Like that one guy at Walmart who scanned my soda too fast, and it exploded when I openned it.
Sheepboi: *Groans* Artoria was a such a perfect King, that people began to question her rule. They believed that people without emotions were not fit to be the rule of an empire.
Kirby: It didn't help at all that once her son/daughter/clone Mordred tried to take her right to the throne, Artoria basically said "No bitch" and rejected her as a heir in the first place. All this ended up destroying her kindom from the inside out, she was mortally wounded. On her death bed though, she asked one thing. If she became a heroic spirit, would she be allowed to seek the Holy Grail in order to repair her kingdom?
Sheepboi: Yes. The Grail allowed Artoria to become a Heroic Spirit and fight for a Master.
Kirby: As a Saber class spirit, Artoria wields Excalibur, The Sword Of Promised Victory. Also as a Saber class spirit, she's refered to as. . . Saber. . . huh, why can't I just be called Star then?
Sheepboi: NO. Anyways, Saber is a skilled swordswoman, capable of keeping up with the best of the best from any era and any time. Her magical armor is nigh unbreakable, and her descructive capabilities are absurd. Despite this, she isn't the strongest servant.
Kirby: She's been shown to be prone to verbal assaults, although these were directly targetted at her rule. Her honor and pride as both a knight and king have lead her to handicap herself in battle, and the thirteen seals on Excalibur means she can't always unleash Excalibur's full might.
Sheepboi: Despite this, Artoria Pendragon is NOT someone you wanna mess around with.
Saber: "I ask of you, are you my master?"
Pre-Fight[]
Saber POV:
Location: Shirou's House (If it has a name, please tell me) Time: Night
Saber awoke from her slumber, and walked around the house of Shirou Emiya. Something had woken her up. No. . . SomeONE had woken her up. Donning her magic armor, Saber summoned her legendary blade: Excalibur. Consealed by wind mana, her blade was out and at her side. She walked around looking for the person who had managed to wake her. She then saw it. A black hole, and something was spat out of it. The hole closed and a red figure walked towards Saber, sword in hand. A katana to be presise. This, was the Shogun. The fabled general dashed towards Saber with incredible speed and attacked with a downwards slash. Saber parried and slashed back, the Shogun dodging.
Shogun POV:
Location: Simulation Map
The Shogun dashed foreward, slashing the Reaper in front of him. The skeleton responded with a slash of his powerful scythe, missing via the Shogun leaping upwards. He came straight down, his katana raised high. The Reaper raised his scythe in an attempt to block, but the Shogun cut both him and the scythe into two. The creature exploded into bones, and then imploded. The Shogun then went for the Chronomancer, but was blasted by one of the unit's time manipulating orbs. The time unit looked at the Shogun and prepared to throw another orb. One more, and his transformation would activate.
A spear flew through the air.
The Chronomancer attempted to blast the spear to a halt, but it broke through his blast, and lodged itself in his head. The being fell onto the floor, dead. The Shogun looked at the Spear Thrower who saved his life, and bowed. A tank rolled through, and fired. Yet again luck struck the Shogun, as a Knight ran in front of him and blocked. The tank round hit the Knight's shield and sent him flying. The Shogun braced for impact. . . as a bullet flew through the tank. The machine exploded, and the Shogun flew backwards.
Suddenly, he was standing in a formation, in a different spot. This happenned often. Occassionally, The Shogun would even die, and find himself in a formation again, enemies in front of him, or enemies just appearing. Sometimes, he was blue, or red. Sometimes he fought hoards of skeletons, or single battles again a King. Sometimes he fought alongside his men against Spartan Warriors and Hoplites, and othertimes he fought with giants to kill gods. It seemed his only purpose, was to fight. But one thing never changed. No matter how far away, or even if he was floating in the sky, he always knew where an enemy, or who the enemy was. It was always the person opposite in color to him, but even if he couldn't see them, he could sense them far as they were.
As he pondered his existance and the strangness of the world around him he found he could move again. This always signalled the beginning of a new battle. Who must he fight now? A halfling. Immediently it imploded. Several of the warriors around him murmurred around him. There was still someone else though. All the way at the edge of the map. He couldn't see it, but everyone could sense the other person. Walking towards this person, the Shogun was ahead of everyone else, until a scream brought this to a halt. He turned to see. . . a black hole. OH SHIT! he thought. He began sprinting away, but the people behind them had doomed them all. The Shogun ran, but the black hole grew bigger as more people were sucked in. Eventually, he joined those people.
Black was all around him. Nothing execpt black. Besides his own body, he couldn't see anything. He felt his body getting weak, the black hole consuming him. He closed his eyes. This wouldn't kill him. Everytime he died he was reborn. He couldn't die. He never would, he would only fight, and fight, and fight, and fight. . .
Location: Shirou's House Time: Night
He awoke at full capacity, everything in his body completely healed and well. He was on the floor of a. . . street? He'd seen these before in after battle hours. Sometimes the godlike entity of their world went to sleep or something like that, and all the units were free. Free to go make famillies and actually eat and drink, to be at peace. Sometimes, killed units weren't reborn. Like. . . Red Jade. . .
Stop. he told himself. He sensed no one. Strange. He picked up his blade and walked down the street. There he saw a girl, gripping something invisible, gripping. . . mist? She didn't feel like an enemy, but she was blue, opposite to his red color. She was also holding what appeared to be weapon. He attacked, and the girl fought back. This blond girl was indeed skilled, and was indeed an enemy. She looked different, but new units appeared at random. He launched another assault.
FIGHT!
FIGHT![]
The Shogun leapt forward, swinging downwards. Saber parried and thrust foreward, but the Shogun darted backwards. The two combatants both did a rushdown type attack, attempting multi-hit attacks. Sparks flew, as the two combatants locked blades briefly, before pushing away from each other and entering a staredown. They once again dashed towards the other, and Saber dodged a stab from the Shogun. She attempted to strike back, but the Shogun parried and went for her shoulder. His blade bounced off her armor and he darted back.
The Shogun eyed her carefully. So his opponent was armored with metal that could repel even him? This drew his intrest. The Shogun ran towards a car and flipped it high into the air. Using his speed, the samurai general ran towards Artoria and kicked a rock at her. The King of Knights sidestepped the pebble, and the Shogun slided right past her. Artoria went for a downwards slash, but the Shogun swung his blade upwards and deflected hers. He then delivered a kick to the stomach, and sent her sliding backwards. Artoria gripped Excalibur, but a shadow began getting bigger right where she was. Saber leapt back as the car the Shogun had sent into the air came back down. Flipping it over and sending it at The Shogun, Artoria did a little simulation in her head. She closed her eyes.
The Shogun leapt over the car and came down, but Artoria was ready, already right infront of him. With one quick strike, she disarmed her foe. With another swift hit, she skewered him.
Artoria openned her eyes. She ran forewards, expecting the Shogun to hurl himself over the car and land gracefully into a death trap. Instead, the Shogun cut the vehicle clean in half and enveloped his blade in a yellow swirl. He ran at Saber with insane speed, and she prepared to parry. Her blade. . .
Passed straight through him.
What? Artoria was in shock. Under that mask of his, the Shogun smirked. Saber couldn't move. It was as if her body was frozen in time. She could see and breathe, but she couldn't move. Suddenly, white slashes across her body appeared. Her left sleeve was had a cut. Her right arm had two. But more confusing, her chest was slashed. Can that sword bypass my armor? Who is he anyways? An eighth servant?
The Shogun looked as Artoria attempted to figure out what just happenned. He was glad to know his Huricane Slash could bypass her armor. His foe still stood strong. The Shogun readied himself again. This wasn't gonna be easy. The two combatants sprited towards each other, and slammed their swords together. A shockwave resonated through the area. Shirou Emiya ran outside to see Saber battling The Shogun.
The Shogun lept back and began contemplating his options. He could try a hit-and-run. But his opponent would likely parry his blade everytime. He could try a rushdown. But that knight could likely match him blow for blow. He could attempt to throw or kick something at her, and then strike while she dodged or deflected. She'd likely learned what would happen if she didn't act fast enough though. An all or nothing one-hit death strike? No, her chest was protected and he might lose his head.
Saber looked as the Shogun began thinking. She too however, was thinking. Who is he? There were so many possibilities. However, what Japanese warrior could bypass armor? Could she have never heard of who he was?
Saber raised her blade as the Shogun began a rushdown attack, attempting to strike her multiple times in multiple different places. She blocked every attack, every strike, and then counterattacked with a rushdown of her own. The Shogun went from offensive to defensive, blocked Saber's every move. The general wondered how this girl got so strong, thinking about what she must've had to do.
Shink!
Excalibur lodged itself into his left shoulder. The Shogun lept back. Excalibur slid smoothly out of his body. Under his mask, the Shogun grit his teeth. That blade hurt. But he'd been hit by worse before.
Besides, Hurricane Slash was nearly ready. Should he hold out a bit longer, he might attain victory.
The Shogun bolted away, leaving Saber behind to chase after him. But she didn’t. The Shogun expected the sound of footsteps and heard the sound of nothing. What was his opponent trying to do?
Saber stood in the same position, poised to attack. If her opponent was attempting to lead her away from her master, it had failed. But if he had been trying to escape if he was truly a servant, why didn’t he transform into spirit form? Could he be. . . a familiar? However, a second question still remained unanswered. Why hadn’t her foe used that spiral attack twice?
The Shogun slowly walked forward. Could this be a trap, could he be walking into death? Had his opponent been stalling? It didn’t matter now. He kept creeping forward, until he was within 10 feet of his opponent. She had greater strength than him, but could also match his speed. Until now, he’d been acting with the intention to kill and to gauge his opponent. But he now saw that his opponent was absurdly good. Skilled, fast, strong, she’d make a good samurai. But both of them knew that the other wouldn’t spare them. It was life or death here.
Location: In the sky, above Shirou’s house Time: Night
Sheepboi hovered in the sky, Kirby by his side.
“Kirby, why don’t we mix things up a bit?”
“Hm, how?”
“Teleportation.”
“Hmmm, what one of them dies by an outside source, or gets weakened too much? That’d ruin the point of seeing who wins in a 1v1 fight?”
“Eh, I don’t give a shit and I know damn well you don’t either. Stop considering our viewers and start considering some fun.”
Kirby thinks about it.
“Perhaps”
“‘Perhaps’ Bitch please, you’ve done shit like this before.”
Kirby sighs, and then grins.
“If this backfires and people get pissed,I blame it on you. Your dumbass idea did this, alright?”
“Dumbass idea? Time travel is always an option man.”
“You asshole.”
“Heh, well, now that that’s that, let’s get to the fun bits eh?”
Location: Outside Shirou’s house
Saber attempts to block the Shogun’s rapid assault, but the general’s speed is overwhelming. He applies a hit-and-run strategy, attacking from every direction. He leaps off walls, cars, and lamplights, bouncing off each one like a ball. His moves are filled with precision and power, but it isn’t enough. Saber blocks and deflects his moves. Occasionally a slice hits, but it’s either shallow or hits armor. The Shogun leapt atop a car and frowned. He was getting tired. He was clearly beating his opponent, but her stamina was incredible. He’d have to end this quickly. Saber gave him a look of agreement. The Shogun nearly gasped, his opponent knew his thoughts? But, she agreed.
Both fighters charged towards each other, neither of them meaning to drag out the battle any longer.
“Nope. Not on my watch.”
A black hole opened right in the middle of them, swallowing them whole. . .
Location: TABS: Simulation Map Time: Day
Saber and the Shogun were both spat out away from each other. Kirby and Sheepboi appeared out of a portal in the sky, and Kirby gave Sheepboi a glare. Archer (EMIYA), Berserker (Heracles), Gilgamesh, and Lancer (Cu Chulainn) were also on the battlefield, looking around in surprise. From all angles were blue units, ranging from knights to tanks.
“Sheep, I knew the units were being thrown in, but the servants?”
“Relax. It’ll be fine, they’ll all be teleported eventually.”
“Specific servants though. Why them?”
“Shut up and enjoy the show dude.”
Back on the floor, things were heating up. Gilgamesh fired off Noble Phantasms at hoards of skeletons. Heracles tanked a blow from an Ice Giant, grabbing the beast’s arm and throwing him into an incoming tree giant. EMIYA cut down a King, and then headed for some knights. Cu Chuliann stabbed a Berserker, before driving his spear into the head of a Monk. The Monk collapsed onto the floor, and Lancer moved on. Saber deflected a bullet from Deadeye and sent it right back at her. Saber looked around, her original opponent nowhere to be seen. . .
Saber whirled around, but it was too late. The Shogun sliced Artoria’s arm, and skidded to a halt. He turned around, before a yellow spiral appeared. Several cuts appeared on her body. As soon as the cuts appeared though, Saber charged towards the Shogun. She began swinging her sword, putting the Shogun on the offensive. He barely blocked each strike, the attacks pushing him farther and farther. The Shogun’s sword began to crack, Artoria’s unrelenting attacks keeping him on the defensive.
Crack!
The Shogun’s Jintachi broke. Saber launched another strike, the Shogun barely dodging. Unfortunately, he tripped on the body of a samurai. Picking up the warrior’s katana, the Shogun dodged another strike, before Saber’s blade glowed gold, and she slammed her sword against the Shogun’s blade.
The Shogun breathed heavily. This girl had pushed him to the edge of the map. Saber pointed her sword at the general.
“I am Artoria Pendragon. From your skill I assume you must be a brave warrior of some renown. Who are you?”
The Shogun said nothing and kept looking on. His killing intent was subsiding. But he still had to win. Kirby grinned.
“So, it appears this is the climax. Unless, you have something else in mind?”
Sheepboi sighed.
“I suppose this has gone on long enough.”
Saber’s blade glowed gold. Raising Excalibur, she closed her eyes. The Shogun understood. Raising his sword to the sky, he stood still. Slowly, Artoria opened her eyes. Her blade grew brighter and brighter. It was shining brighter than anything the Shogun had ever seen. It grew slightly hotter. The general’s sword soon became enveloped in a yellow swirl. The spirals spun around and around, power coursing through both of their swords. Artoria spoke, half a word. Half a name that could end this whole battle.
“Ex. . .”
The Shogun burst into a sprint, the desire to win empowering him, making him run faster than ever before.
“CALIBUR!”
She swung Excalibur, now a huge golden beam. The Shogun charged forward, pure determination flowing throughout his body.
And for a moment, there was only silence. . .
The Shogun was blasted back by Excalibur, the light incinerating him. Excalibur stopped, returning to it’s normal, sword form. Smoke was coming off the ground. She had really-
“Damn. . .”
Saber looked forward in shock. There, smoke still steaming, was the Shogun. The general held half of his mask, a clean cut right on the edge. He was clearly in pain, one of his hands and legs now only bone Saber walked towards him, intending to end his suffering. The Shogun looked at his foe. Truly, she was a queen-no, a king. The unit sighed, and smiled.
“Ar. . . toria, was it? Thank . . .”
Saber gasped.
“You.”
The Shogun fell backwards off the edge, now powerless. Saber looked on. He was truly an honorable man. Suddenly, she found herself in the middle of the street near Shirou’s house.
Sheepboi clicked a remote, and opened a portal.
“Welp, let’s leave Kirby.”
Both Kirby and Sheepboi entered the portal and disappeared, their wormhole disappearing shortly after.
KO!
Result/Conclusion[]
Sheepboi: Whoo! Loved that. Anyways, onto the results!
Kirby: While the Shogun was certainly a formidible foe, Saber just had everything she need to win. For starters, Saber was much stronger, being able to flip over cars, and destroy Caster's giant kaiju.
Sheepboi: Which brings us to a big thing. Saber could one-shot the Shogun. He's a glass cannon, which makes sense, in order to balance him out. But this also means that Saber only needs one hit to win. Plus, you could argue the Shogun is an opponent that Saber could take off the 13 seals of Excalibur for.
Kirby: But, here's the big thing. The Shogun's speed. While it is true he's an incredibly fast opponent, that's only his combat and reaction speed, NOT his movement speed. Besides, with her precognition and superior skill, added onto the Shogun's predictable fighting style, Saber could score a hit. Of course, it wouldn't be too easy, with the Shogun's speed and all.
Sheepboi: Not to say the Shogun is helpless. He obviously has speed in the bag, and Hurricane Slash takes away 15% of the opponent's health, meaning any durability Saber has is useless against that. But still, Saber's advantages and counters were too much for the Japanesse general.
Kirby: In the end, the Shogun should've Shorun.
Sheepboi: The winner is Saber.
Next Time[]
Guns? Awesome. Swords? Awesome. Both combined?
Post Fight[]
57 years later. . .
A black haired teenager walks upstairs. He goes into the attic, and grabs a flag. It's short, but it'll do. Grabbing the flag, he walks into a summonning circle, and places the flag down. He begins a ritual, and drops some gems into the circle. It glows, until suddenly, an explosion of air blasts everything away. The teen looks on, as a red figure grabs the flag and attaches it to his back. Through a mask, the figure asks-
"Are you my master?"
2 weeks later. . .
Location: Park: Time: Night
The teen is seen walking through the park, command seals on his right hand. The red figure appears besides him.
"Master, is this safe?"
"Relax Assassin, with you here I can't-"
Both of them turn to their right. A white haired teen walking towards them, marks on his hand, a cloaked figure behind him. He speaks.
"So, I take it that you're Assassin's master?"
"What's it to you? And which Servant do you have?"
"Heh, you'll find out. Saber!"
Saber throws off her cloak, but stops after a few steps, shocked by who she sees. Assassin throws off his cloak, revealing himself. He grips his Jintachi, and calmly, says:
"I look foreward to out rematch, Artoria."
Assassin and Saber both rush towards each other, battling yet again.

Trivia:[]
Connections:
- Both are swordfighters
- Both are some weird ass characters (Arturia being a genderbend of one of the most popular and famous myths of all time, while the Shogun is a being with stubs for arms, and just looks weird in general)
- Both fight other warriors from across time and space, including a potential spear wielder (Lancer, Hoplite, Pike, ect), a godlike being (Gilgamesh and Zeus, as well as Thor), a horse riding person (Calvary and Iskandor), a buff person who's. . . not the brightest tool in the shed (Minotaur and Beserker)
- Every time they are summonned, they fight a person who's not exactly smart (Beserkers are insane and TABS units. . . are fucking dumbasses)
Shogun POV:
- First three paragraphs of his POV is him doing battle in a simulator battle
- "Suddenly, he was standing in a formation, in a different spot. This happenned often."
- Refers to how if you end the battle, or restart after the battle is over, all units are revived and placed where originally placed
- "Occassionally, The Shogun would even die, and find himself in a formation again, enemies in front of him, or enemies just appearing."
- Refers to what I was just talking about, however, it also means that everytime you erase and put in a new shogun (I dunno what I was doing I got bored), it's actually the same one. And the "enemies just appearing" line, from the eyes of a unit, placing a new unit in front of them would look like they appeared out of thin air
- "Sometimes, he was blue, or red. Sometimes he fought hoards of skeletons, or single battles again a King. Sometimes he fought alongside his men against Spartan Warriors and Hoplites, and othertimes he fought with giants to kill gods"
- Refers to how on whatever side the Shogun's on, he's that color. Also refers to how you can place any unit near a Shogun and make them fight anyone, hence me listing off battles he could've fought/did fight. The "giants to kill gods" part is refering to the godly units of TABS (Zeus, Thor, Artemis, Reaper, maybe more I can't remember) and the TABS giants (Ice/Frost Giant, Samurai Giant, Tree Giant).
- "A halfling. Immediently it imploded"
- Bug DLC. Halfing turn into black holes.
- "He couldn't see it, but everyone could sense the other person"
- No matter how far apart you put TABS units, they always know where each other are.
- "until a scream brought this to a halt."
- Someone got sucked into the black hole
- "Sometimes the godlike entity of their world went to sleep or something like that, and all the units were free."
- Wreck-it-Ralph basically. The "godlike entity" is the player, and after you log off or stop playing/turn off TABS, all the units get to do whatever. Even accessessing hidden maps not yet in the game (I mean, there's a whole world in TABS, no way every bit of that world is a map yet)
- "Sometimes, killed units weren't reborn."
- I thought it would be strange if the same killed units were always revived, so I wrote this part. It means sometimes a new person takes the place of the killed one, and the killed one never comes back.
- "Like. . . Red Jade. . ."
- I didn't want the Shogun to be lonely, so I gave him an after-hours wife. Then decided I needed some backstory shit and killed her off.

- I did take some creative liberties with the Shogun's fighting style
