History

Shiva had met Rudra at a very young age, and they remained close since then, at one point, Rudra asked what Shiva wanted to do, with Shiva saying he wanted to be the king of dance, Rudra then told Shiva not to laugh, before telling Shiva he had a dream, Shiva would then promptly burst out laughing, and even compare him to a human, which frustrated Rudra enough to hit Shiva, before he said his dream was to stand at the top of the Gods of India, he then asked Shiva if he wanted to join, to which Shiva said that he didn't have a choice. On their way there, they were mocked, called inferior gods and idiots, although as they continued to fight and beat all the other gods, it turned more to respect, and after a while, they had done it, they had beaten all other 1115 gods.

As Shiva marveled at the view from the peak of Svarga, Rudra brought him back to reality, saying only one of them could be at the top, not both of them, and so they began to brawl, after an extremely long time, Shiva basically began begging Rudra to just give up, showing pity on him, but Rudra kept refusing, Shiva knew this was most likely gonna result in one of them dying, so he tried to declare he gave up, right before he did though, Rudra had admitted defeat. Shiva questioned why, and promptly got yelled at, he began to cry as he questioned Rudra about his dream, Rudra told him not to cry, as he was above all 1116 other gods in India.

Sometime later, Shiva was in the God's Council to decide the fate of humanity, it was decided they would live, but at a cost, Thebes and all the people inside it, Shiva naturally volunteered to take care of it as the God of Destruction, but was told off by Ares, who said Thebes was in his jurisdiction, so it was his responsibility.

Even later, Shiva is at yet another God's Council, this time everyone votes no, and Brunhilde decides to use the Ragnarok clause, the gods began to object, until she began insulting their pride, making Zeus declare the start of Ragnarok, and of course, Shiva was put down as one of the God's fighters.

In round one, Shiva can be seen very excitedly watching the fight, and during round two, it was supposed to be his go against Adam, but he was stopped and forced out of it by Zeus, and can be seen watching round two as well, but obviously more upset, wishing he could fight instead, but he still silently cheered Zeus on, during the third round he can be seen after Kojiro Sasaki manages to beat Poseidon, and is surprised and angry that a human actually won, later he was seen in the longue with Zeus, and Loki among others, who managed to calm him down, when he requested going into round four, he was shot down again, Zeus decided a Greek should avenge a Greek, so Hercules was up next, we see Shiva along with Aphrodite watch his death.

With round five coming, Shiva was finally allowed to fight, he was going against sumo wrestler Raiden Tameemon, who asked if he could do a ritual before the fight, to which Shiva agreed, and once the match had officially begun after that, Shiva was immediately put on the defense after taking a dropkick, before Raiden's assault could get very far though, Shiva had caught his arms and head with his arms, Raiden then questioned Shiva on why he fights, to which Shiva just responds that it's fun, Raiden then decides to release the 100 seals technique, Raiden then charged Shiva, saying now he didn't even know how strong he was, his punch sent Shiva flying backwards, then Raiden used Kiku-Ichimonji, making Shiva fall flat on his face, and he got up again, still dizzy, and Raiden grabbed him again, and did Juzo's Embrace, a headbutt, Shiva responded by headbutting back, Shiva quickly began to attack with all four arms, overwhelming Raiden and causing damage to his ribs. As Raiden leaned down from shock, he grabbed Shiva's lower left arm, using Overflowing Pressure to rip it off, Shiva managed to get Raiden off, but not before that arm was damaged beyond repair, as the gods began to fear losing, the other Indian gods began to cheer Shiva on, bringing back Shiva's fighting spirit.

Shiva tried attacking Raiden again, but because his arm was mutilated, he didn't have as much balance, so he kept missing, eventually Shiva managed to throw Raiden, and the two kept punching each other, which eventually turned to headbutts, Shiva forced Raiden to stagger away from that, before Shiva began his war dance, Hidden Treasures of Svarga, making an unpredictable rhythm, and causing afterimages of the god. Shiva began to attack unrelentingly, and Raiden used Shishimai to try to attack with a kick, but Shiva kicked him in the back before Raiden could do the move, and Raiden used Miyama to defend, Shiva had danced enough to cause Tandava, he set on fire, and he continued to attack, burning Raiden's flesh. Shiva would then perform Krittvasa: Flaming Tiger Claw Dance, burning the flesh on his chest and over his left eye, causing Raiden to smile and perform Yatagarasu on Shiva, who despite blocking, got sent flying, and severing the two arms used to block the attack clean off.

Shiva said Raiden had a great burden, before noticing the other Hindu gods, including Rudra, before saying so did he, before with his only good arm left, he pierced his heart to stimulate his soul directly, performing Tandava Karma: Samsara War Dance - Ashes to increase his speed, strength, and combustibility even more.

What was a fight had turned to a war of endurance, Raiden had to withstand Shiva's attacks, each attack turning more and more of his skin into char, but the longer Shiva used the technique, the more he was gonna burn up, to the point his broken bottom left arm turned to ash, with each audience cheering their respective fighter on, Raiden tried Yatagarasu again, only to be met by Deva Loka: Final Act Flame Dance, which severed Raiden's arm, Raiden expressed his thanks for letting him sumo to his hearts content, and the two shared respect, before Shiva would use another Deva Loka to decapitate Raiden, giving round five to the gods.

On his way to the infirmary he was met by Rudra, and other Hindu gods, Shiva collapsed as his injuries caught up to him, and they began to crack jokes, Zeus then came over to note the beating Shiva took, Shiva said humans are very powerful, and Zeus agreed, before Shiva was taken to the infirmary.

We can then see him watching rounds six and seven from the infirmary, healing his injuries.

• Deva Loka: Final Act Flame Dance: A straight kick under Tandava Karma, powerful enough to overpower Raiden's Yatagarasu technique and rip his arm off entirely.

• Tandava Karma will kill him if he uses it too long.

• Due to him having no equipment, he doesn't have any armor or weapons, and just uses his fists, which is good until you realize an opponent who has a weapon can easily outrange him.
