History[]
Sheriff first appears in Madness Combat 2: Redeemer. He tries to avoid Hank, who is on a mission to kill him (Although Madness Interactive shows Hank tries to kill Sherif, for stealing his pie, the canon reason is unknown). In the end of episode, Jebus shots Hank from his head before he kills the Sheriff. In Madness Combat 3: Avenger, Hank comes back to kill him, killing all of his goons. After a while, the Sheriff can't stand it and out of fear activates the Improbability Drive, which causes a major reality warping in Nevada. At the end of episode, Hank, right before he dies, blasts Sheriff's face with a shotgun. In MADNESS: Project Nexus, he reappears as the guardian of Nexus City, leader of MERC faction and main antagonist of the Industrial Sector, as way tougher and visibly less cowardly. In game, Sanford and Deimos fights with MERC and tries to reach Sheriff so they could convincing him to unlock the transit network by brute force if necessary. After beaten by Sanford and Deimos, he opens the transit network for them. Even after the events of the Industrial Sector, his mans doesn't seem to have let go of Sanford and Deimos completely. Later in the game, Sanford and Deimos still occasionally encounters Church, Jorge, and also several MERC goons.
