Shaggy vs Mr Bean is a fan-made Death Battle episode featuring Shaggy from Scooby-Doo and Mr Bean from the show with the same name. Both characters are gonna have prep time and no memes are allowed for this Death Battle, we will be using the canon versions of them.
Description[]
Both characters are cowards who goes on crazy adventures and outsmarted a lot of people, they also both get really lucky too. This fight makes a lot of sense too since Rowan Atkinston a.k.a the voice of Mr Bean did play in the live-action Scooby-Doo films.
Introduction[]
Wiz: Shaggy Rogers the iconic coward from the all time classic Scooby-Doo.
Boomstick: and Mr Bean, Rowan Atkinston's best performing character that he's been playing for years.
Wiz: With Rowan Atkinston being in the live action Scooby-Doo films as said earlier, there's no denying this fight is gonna do pretty well.
Boomstick: What about all the memes and such as Ultra Instinct Shaggy?
Wiz: We're not gonna be using memes in this fight but rather the feats they have canonically, both of them have a history of outsmarting so eh.
Boomstick: Scooby-Doo isn't doing well for us here though, a lot of the times Shaggy and Scooby nearly lost every fight in here so hopefully this could redeemed their chances.
Wiz: It will most likely but we can see in this Death Battle.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.
Shaggy Rogers[]
(Cue: Scooby-Doo Where Are You? Theme Song)
Wiz: Starting from 1969, Warner Bros has made Scooby-Doo which is the lovable kids show that a lot of people really enjoy to this day.
Boomstick: Imagine a show your grandparents watches as kids is still relevant to this day, that is mad wild in all honesty. How is this show not forgotten yet?
Wiz: This is simply because the show keeps getting more and more spin-offs due to the success.
Boomstick: Including Scooby and Shaggy Get A Clue and Velma?
Wiz: We do not talk about those abominations. Anyways, Shaggy has been solving mysteries with his pup Scooby since 1969.
Boomstick: He might seem like a coward but don't let that slide. Even if he is a coward, he has some pretty good feats with or without memes.
Wiz: Shaggy actually met Batman once and crazily knocked out the Joker.
Boomstick: Remember when he got hypnotized in the Scooby-Doo: Legend of the Phantosaur movie? Oh gosh, I can not believe how incredible he has when he no diffed the biker gang.
Wiz: Shaggy is a really powerful person even without the memes with being able to take down and entire biker gang, manage to enter a video game fictional version of himself, not being able to take damage in some point, his plot armor really is something. In the comics too, he was also to keep up with the likes of Superman.
Boomstick: Man so he doesn't even need memes to be powerful.
Wiz: Yup. Shaggy was also capable of surviving a punch of Superman from the comics making this even more insane of a scale for him. He can also keep up with Scooby-Doo who in which could defeat Professor Pericles in Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated who has infinite power and can destroy the Scooby-Doo universe.
Boomstick: Oh damn, so I guess he is like high universal then huh?
Wiz: Yep. Also for the lore of Shaggy, there is no official Scooby-Doo lore but one of the most notable ones would be from the movie Scoob! in which he named Scooby who he was due to the name of the snack "Scooby Snacks".
Boomstick: That probably explains why "Shaggy Snacks" don't exist then. I learn a lot from this.
Wiz: Me too Boomstick, Shaggy may be a coward but he sure is one hell of a toon force user not to be mess with.
Shaggy: Zoinks!!!
Mr Bean[]
(Cue: Mr Bean: The Animated Series Intro)
Wiz: Mr Bean really is just as durable as Shaggy, remember the live-action Mr Bean show?
Boomstick: Oh yea, those were the good old days. Say, what are Mr Bean's feats? I'm like really curious.
Wiz: Mr Bean has really good IQ as he was able to outsmart people in nearly every single way as possible, also was able to keep up with the guy in the blue car.
Boomstick: Has a lot of weaponry inside him as well such as his little gun and all.
Wiz: Mr Bean nearly gets lucky all the time meaning he actually is a worth opponent for a battle all the time?
Boomstick: What do you mean by "nearly"?
Wiz: He's not always lucky in some cases especially in the animated series. There could actually be times where he actually got in trouble with Ms. Wicket or her cat as much as he is lucky most of the time.
Boomstick: With full prep though, he's really something so we'll be more than happy to see how he would be going up against Shaggy in this case.
Wiz: Mr Bean also had spawn numerous movies too due to his likable sense. He might look dumb on the outside but on the inside, he's way smarter than you think but he doesn't make a lot of friends, some people actually hate him because of his silly and goofy behavior like Mrs. Wicket for a prime example of this as well as that guy in the blue car.
Boomstick: Now how about the backstory of Mr. Bean? I'm kinda interested to see how that would go out like.
Wiz: Mr Bean is actually an alien believe it or not. It's also shown in the live action intro where he fell out of a spaceship and was confused where he's at and it eventually got explained where he has his own alien species in an episode of the animated series.
Boomstick: Wow Wiz, that actually shocked my childhood but hey, I guess that is why people compare him to Goku and Superman now I suppose since they are all aliens who look like humans.
Wiz: By the looks of it yes, it's really shocking to see what our childhoods could be holding since you wouldn't know what's insane theory there are.
Boomstick: That's really true Wiz. Let's let the Death Battle begin!
Mr Bean: The name's Bean, Mr Bean.
Intermission[]
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
Death Battle[]
(Location: Park)
It's just a lovely day on the park, the birds are singing and the sun is shining. It's a nice break for the fictional characters.
Mr Bean: Alright teddy, stay there. I'm gonna go and get the snacks hehehehe.
Mr Bean nodded his teddy's head and walks away.
Shaggy: Like hey Scooby, I found a spot for our lunch right there. What do you say pal?
Scooby: Right Raggy.
Mr Bean: Um, excuse me?
Shaggy: Huh?
Mr Bean: This isn't a place for you, this is a place for me and my teddy bear so can you and your dog please move out of the way so we can enjoy our spot on the park please.
Shaggy: Um, dude? Me and Scooby found this place here first so please do not bother us on our picnic. Also, aren't you a little bit too old to be playing with that teddy bear and acting like he's your best friend?
Mr Bean: Ugh, teddy is real and no, I will not go out of this spot. Me and teddy found it first alright?
Scooby: Uh, Raggy? Re might need to go!
Shaggy: No Scooby, I got this okay?
Scooby: Rok Raggy!
FIGHT!!!
Scooby runs away while Shaggy and Mr Bean continues arguing about the bench, Mr Bean pulled out his secret weapon and uses it on Shaggy.
Shaggy: Zoinks!
Shaggy eventually dodges the spitballs and instantly runs and throws a punch on Mr Bean. This actually got Mr Bean mad that he has another trick up his sleeve to stop Shaggy.
Mr Bean: Look Shaggy, I found a life time supply of Scooby snacks right there
Shaggy: Huh?
With Shaggy being distracted, Mr Bean eventually runs over to Shaggy and pushes him into the lake of the park and then instantly laughs at him about it, this makes Shaggy mad though that he runs out of the ocean and knocks Mr Bean down as well.
Mr Bean: Right...
Shaggy: Keep trying to destroy me whoever you are, but you are not getting me and Scooby's sitting area and that is final.
Mr Bean runs off into the woods with Shaggy being confused, he has no idea what happened and thought Mr Bean surrendered so he was gonna tell Scooby it's all over but the moment he did that, Mr Bean came back with his green car and runs Shaggy over causing Shaggy to get injured terribly.
Shaggy: Ow... my bones...
Mr Bean: Now will you please give me my spot or I will have to continue running you over? It's your choice overall so make it good.
Shaggy: Never... I will not let you win...
Mr Bean: Suit yourself.
Mr Bean is about to run Shaggy over again but Fred and the gang saw this, they told Shaggy to get back up again and continue the fight. Shaggy while he is a coward knows he can not give up so he got up and ran past Mr Bean's car, with Mr Bean chasing Shaggy in his car Shaggy felt like he was about to lose this fight but then realize he can still get the victory.
Fred: Shaggy? You okay there?
Shaggy didn't respond as he was still cowarding being chased by Mr Bean's car but then Velma told Shaggy would he still stand up for a Scooby snack. This actually gave Shaggy some courage so he ate that and pretended to be someone who isn't Shaggy but Mr Bean knew it was Shaggy so he still ran him over.
Shaggy: I give up...
Fred: Don't give up Shaggy, remember when you got hypnotized and became this whole new crazy person? You just gotta believe in yourself dude and it will be all over.
Mr Bean: Huh?
Shaggy then realizes what Fred said is right so he got up and threw as much stuff as he can on Mr Bean's car, Mr Bean knew that his car was nearly getting damaged so he tried to stop Shaggy as fast as he could but Shaggy ran and bypass it.
Mr Bean: Now where is he?
Shaggy: Over here, Mr Bean!!!!
Mr Bean looks back and Shaggy has teddy, Mr Bean got angry at this that he tried to hurt Shaggy again. Shaggy threw the teddy bear to Fred and Mr Bean got distracted. Afterwards, Shaggy hijacked Mr Bean's car and then Fred throws Teddy back to Shaggy.
Fred: Catch Shaggy!
Shaggy: Thanks Fred!
Mr Bean then goes back into his car in order to stop Shaggy and get his bear back but then he realized his car got hijacked so he was unable to do anything.
Shaggy: It's over, now you will finally leave me alone.
Mr Bean: What?
Shaggy entered Mr Bean's car and Mr Bean runs out of it but just as he was about to escape, Shaggy was finally able to catch up to him with Mr Bean not being able to know what to do, Shaggy punched Mr Bean so hard that he got terribly injured. Afterwards, he pulled out his final weapon and pushed Mr Bean back into the lake til the point where he drowned to death.
Scooby: You did it Raggy.
Shaggy: Thanks Scooby and thanks guys, you actually encouraged me that I'm more than just a coward.
Fred: No problem Shaggy, anything for a friend.
Velma: Say Shaggy, do you still wanna stay in this park? We could go somewhere else if you want.
Shaggy: Nah, I don't feel like being at the park anymore after what I've been through. Let's just go and grab a pizza what do you say?
Scooby: Ooooooooh, I would love a pizza. Ret's go!
The Scooby gang eventually left the park to grab some pizza while Mr Bean's body drowned til the point he was no more. Ever since then, Shaggy and his friends were having one of the best times in their life while Mr Bean was never seen from again.

Wiz: That was an awesome fight though I think it was a bit of an overkill don't you think?
Boomstick: Couldn't say it better myself, there's a lot of reasons why Shaggy could actually in a fight with Mr Bean.
Wiz: Yes Mr Bean may have the luck advantage to him but Shaggy also has that too, especially since both of them have a history of outsmarting people. Shaggy has actually been outsmarting people way longer than Mr Bean has.
Boomstick: Doesn't help the fact Shaggy was actually able to keep up with the likes of Batman and because he has a lot of toon force feats as well.
Wiz: The only advantage Mr Bean really has against Shaggy is the fact he's a coward but even then, Shaggy has insane durability that it wouldn't necessarily work on him.
Boomstick: That's insane to think about, but it's safe to say Mr Bean really got zoinked!
Wiz: The winner is... Shaggy

- The connections between Shaggy and Mr Bean is that they are both just normal human who really seem to be average humans at best who are also both cowards though Mr Bean is mostly scared of Mrs. Wicket or whenever he nearly gets busted while Shaggy is mostly scared of the monsters the mystery gang usually go after, they both have a girlfriend with glasses who they don't usually get along with (Irma Gobb and Velma Dinkley), both have outsmarted a bunch of people and seem to always get away with it through plot armor or luck, they "somewhat" have a brown best friend who's an animal (Scooby and Teddy), both are really childish as seen with Shaggy's love for food and Mr Bean has shown a lot of childish episodes himself, both of them are comedy characters and whenever they do something stupid it's usually done to make people laugh (it's also shown how in the original Scooby-Doo Where Are You? cartoon and the live-action Mr Bean sitcom, you can hear laughing voices whenever Shaggy and Mr Bean did something dumb) in which both Shaggy and Mr Bean may look dumb on the outside but deep down they are secretly pretty smart, both of them starred in 2 live action films (Scooby-Doo (2002) and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed for Shaggy and Bean and Mr. Bean's Holiday for Mr Bean) and they both spawned memes about them being powerful and defeating characters like Superman and Goku.
- Funny enough the origin of the Powerful Mr Bean meme was through an image of him defeating Ultra Instinct Shaggy before having it grow through alex lennen saying Mr Bean defeating Superman.
- Even more funny, Rowan Atkinson (the actor of Mr Bean) starred in Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed as Mondavarious.
- The Mr Bean used in this matchup is Mr Bean from the animated series while the Shaggy in this matchup is the Shaggy from the classic Scooby-Doo shows such as Scooby-Doo Where Are You? and The New Scooby-Doo Movies.
