- The connection between Shadow and Fecto Elfilis is that they are both ultimate lifeforms of alien origin; Shadow possesses Black Arms DNA and Fecto is an alien itself. Both were also experimented on by others for their unique; Shadow was created by Gerald Robotnik to cure his granddaughter's disease and Lab Discovera detained one half of Fecto to engineer technology with its power. Both also have transformations themed around chaos (Shadow's Super form comes from the Chaos Emeralds and Fecto can become Chaos Elfilis) and possess teleportation abilities.
