Monster hunter! these 2 rivals have a real hatred for each other, but who will win? the king of the skies, or the Thousand-blade wyvern?
Interlude
Boom: Monster hunter...AKA peta's worst nightmare and home of the badasses.
Wiz: the most numerous monsters are Flying wyverns, and we are here to settle this recent rivalry once and for all.
Boom: Seregios, the thousand-blade wyvern,
Wiz: and rathalos, the king of the skies.
Boom: He's Wiz and i'm Boomstick.
Wiz: and it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win.... a death battle.
Rathalos
Wiz: In the first monster hunter game, wyverns are the most numerous species, and they still are.
Boom: And in the land of awesome as shit dragons, there was the king of the skies.
*cue mh4u rathalos intro
Boom: awesome.

Wiz: Rathalos is the mate of rathian, but she won't be in this fight.
Boom: no outside help allowed.
Wiz:now to his attacks.
Boom: ALL ABOARD THE BOOMSTICK EXPRESS!
Wiz:...not gonna object.
Boom: his attacks include a flying rush, a dive bomb fireball combo, poison claws, and in g rank he takes a page from his blue cousin and claws like him.
Wiz: yeah, that's not much, but hey, that's how he rolls.
Boom: and his weaknesses are something his rival doesn't use..
Wiz: but no matter what, Rathalos is a true icon of the monster hunter series, appearing in every game.
Rathalos sees the hunter at his nest and roars.
Seregios
(SPOILER ALERT)
Wiz: When Shagaru Magala was slain, everyone thought that was the end of the frenzy.
But they were wrong. ol' Shagaru left them a parting gift: apex seregios. holy Crap he's scary.
A distorted Seregios roar is heard as apex seregios crashes into the db headquarters
Boom: OH CRAP HE'S HERE! RUN!
a few minutes later, apex seregios is killed by boomstick and some random guy of the staff
Boom: THAT. WAS. SCARY.
Wiz: agreed.... back to the show.
Boom: well, that THING displaced the population of seregios, so they started appearing everywhere.
cue the seregios vs azure rathalos cutscene
Wiz: seregios are unique as they have no damaging roar or breath attack, but instead the ability to shoot their razor-sharp scales at enemies.
Boom: enough about science, let's talk offensive. His attacks are shown but not limited to, scale shot. able to inflict bleeding, tail scale shot, same thing, and kicks, showing that he doesn't skip leg day, and then the toss attack, exactly what it say on the tin, and a tackle. his apex, who we are not including, can shoot spikes with the tail sweep, tackle, and his sweeping kick attack.
Wiz: Seregios are formidable oponents, and can easily be one of the most feared monsters in monster hunter. they can make a rathian flee her nest, a near impossibility, able to adapt to any environment, and able to tie with an azure rathalos, a far more vicious variant of our combatant.
Boom: again, weaknesses are something his rival doesn't use.
Seregios intro plays
Pre-DB
Wiz: all right, the combatants are set, it's time to end this debate once and for all.
Boom: IT'S TIME FOR A DRAGON BATTLE! FIRE VS KNIVES YEAH!
Death Battle!
(Rathalos and Seregios are gonna speak english because both of them are wyverns, and the infamous fridge logic.)
Location: Heaven's mount
Time: 10:45 AM
A Seregios flies over a suitable home for him, and notices an aptonoth, As his stomach rumbles.
Seregios: Damn, I'm hungry. This guy would make a good meal.
Seregios kills and proceeds eating the aptonoth, all the way to the bone.
Seregios: ahh.
Seregios Proceeds to see a Rathian and seeing as how instincts say, he scares her away.
Seregios: This is My Home now!
???: Not!
Seregios: Huh?!
Seregios turns around only to see a Rathalos, pissed off at the intruder, glaring at him.
Rathalos: Leave. Now.
Seregios: 2 words. Not. Gonna.
Rathalos: THAT'S IT!
Rathalos proceeds to charge Seregios.
Seregios: That's the way you wanna play? Fine by me, i was itching for a fight!
Fight!
(
Seregios narrowly Misses a fireball, and counters with a blade shot.
Seregios: Take this!
However, Only one blade grazed rathalos, leaving a single cut....
Only for the blade explosion to happen.
Rathalos bleeds from the small cut, and he decides to rataliate with a flame blast, successfully hitting Seregios.
Seregios: OW!
Seregios counters with a tail-blade shot, leaving a scar on Rathalos' left eye.
Rathalos: ARGH!
Rathalos enters rage mode, and dive bomb-fireballs seregios.
Seregios: AGH!
Seregios then Proceeds to enter rage mode as well.
Seregios: TAKE THIS, BASTARD!
Seregios then rips off Rathalos' tail with the sweeping kick maneuver.
Rathalos: AAAUGH!
Rathalos looks at his stump of a tail and tries to rip off Seregios'.
unfortunately it failed, and rathalos has a bleeding mouth.
Rathalos: Urgh...
Seeing his nemesis limping, Seregios struck with a decisive blow, ripping off Rathalos' head....
or what would have happened, had Rathalos sucker-punched seregios with a fireball to the back.
Seregios: YOU.... BASTARD!
Seregios Proceeded to mercilessly attack rathalos, and ended his onslaught with a decisive blow to the chest.
A thud can be heard, as Rathalos collapses, his heart ripped out.
K.O!
Results
Boom: HOLY PISS, THAT WAS INTENSE.
Wiz:it certainly was. while rathalos had more elemental attacks, Seregios trumped him everywhere else.
Boom: If he can tie with azure, he's got a way better edge than rathalos.
Wiz: But most of all, Seregios are known to fight viciously, without mercy.
Boom: Looks like Rathalos Didn't have the heart to win.
Wiz: The winner is Seregios.
